Andando a visitare Old Spitafields Market ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questo caratteristico furgoncino “Made in Italy” con dei simpatici ragazzi/e italiani che sfornavano ottima pizza napoletana. Abbiamo provato la pizza a portafoglio (una margherita con aggiunta di un po’ di parmigiano e basilico ripiegata su se stessa) e ne siamo stati veramente contenti! Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale!!! Andateci e non ve ne pentirete.

Located in Old Spitalfields Market, Sud Italia's food stall offers melt-in-your-mouth and delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas. Pizza Margherita was more than a passable performance. Enjoy the market atmosphere and eat on site. Big recommendation!

Pizza took a very long time despite it was quite late and no other customers were around. Once our pizzas were finally ready, they gave it to a delivery guy instead. Taste was fine, although a bit too greasy and soggy.

Gorgeous pizza. Had the margarita. Having lived in Napoli I simply crave authentic pizza. Went last night around 10:00. Great value for money as well. Will be returning. Will probably do a Monday late evening next time.

Sud Italia at Spitalfields Market serves incredible pizza that tastes just like the ones I had in Naples! The dough is light, the ingredients are fresh and the flavours are spot on. Even though it's usually crowded, the staff are impressively efficient. Besides the traditional Margherita, I also highly recommend the folded pizza for just 5£! A must-visit for an authentic Neapolitan pizza in London.

A very nice and friendly pizza place. I really liked it because they made the pizza in front of you, and you could see the entire process until it went into the oven. The tables were very comfortable and convenient for leaving things around. The only downside was that while we were eating, since it was nighttime, a small mouse appeared at some point, but it didn't come close, so my friends and I were not scared. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with very good pizza at very affordable prices

Amazing Margherita today! Shame the .... i'm guessing .... new girl serving at the front, couldn't even say Thank you, once when i paid and two when she handed me My pizza?! I know you are trying to be all 'too cool for school' but a thank you goes a long way regardless of how busy you are ... not very busy by the looks of it as she was more concerned in looking on her phone. Been to this spot many times before and have always enjoyed the food. Sort out you're customer service and your be one of the best pizza spots in London again!

Folded pizza for £5 is not bad but not amazing either. Very simple, fresh baked pizza. You can find better street food deals at Goulston street nearby for same price.

This is a little pizza stall at one of the entrance of Spitalfields market. We were hungry and ordered 1 folded pizza of £5 initially to eat on our walk but we loved it so much that we ordered it couple of times more. It’s freshly baked. The ingredients are basic but fresh and give the right aroma and taste . It’s value for money and enough for 1 person as a meal. They serve fantastic and authentic Pizzas . Loved it! Much recommended.

Tasty, authentic pizza in Spitalfields market. I went in the evening when quieter and there was no real queue. Opted for a margarita with nduja. Quality ingredients and a light crust. Enjoyable watching the pizza being made in the truck. Certainly an individual size portion and not clear why the folded version is so cheap. Not a plethora of seating nearby but overall a quick & tasty Neapolitan pizza.

Paid £5 for a stale folded margarita, the guy said it was cold but could heat it up, expected a fresh pizza really. Won't be back

An all-Italian corner located in the Spitafield market with Sicilian and Campanian pizza chefs, an ingenious cart with oven that offers a few tasty pizzas, in particular a wallet pizza for only £5 which already in its aroma is a guarantee of delicacy... I would have eat 2!!! If you are in the Liverpool Street station area I recommend stopping and enjoying what I found to be the most authentic pizza in London👌

I got the folded up pizza which costs £5. I think it’s amazing value for money, I shared it with my boyfriend and we were very satiated, however neither of us were super hungry. It’s definitely enough for one person as a whole meal. The pizza is amazing quality and tastes like a proper neapolitan pizza with fresh ingredients. You can’t find anything better for the price. I haven’t tried their other pizza’s but I’m sure they’re amazing and they cost the same as any other good italian restaurant in London.

After 7 days of desperation with London food, they arrived. The pizza is delicious, the flavors are right and the guys are super courteous. Real Neapolitan pizza in London. It has no rivals! Congratulations guys

Beautiful, delicious and delicious pizza

What a threat. Excellent Italian pizza, light and puffy. Had to try folded one and it was close to perfection, just bear in mind it's more like a snack rather than full meal. Lucky for me day was extremaly hot and I wasn't very hungry. Proper Italian ingredients, you can see tomatoes seeds. Watch out, inside that sandwich is pipping hot melted cheese mixed with sauce. A little bit of basil and you have tasty yet simple meal. They serve from blue van with pizza oven, they work hard and efficient but prepare to wait some time to get your pizza pie. Need to visit them again and check Nduja, my fav pie. Oh, they serve homemade sauces too, like nduja mayo but I didn't need it. Could be good idea to serve some typical Italian drinks as well, coke or Fanta doesn't cut it for me.

This small van produces tasty pizzas. Those who describe it as the best pizza Napoletana ever are a bit carried away by their enthusiasm...but certainly this was an enjoyable version. The texture can be improved but the pizzaiolo clearly knows what he's doing and , crucially, the ingredients are of fine quality, especially the tomatoes but also the rest. The wait was not long, the pizza comes in a box and cut in fours, thus easy to eat on the go or to carry it nearby - there are seating spaces in Spitalfields, even right in front of the van.

Siamo andati in famiglia,abbiamo preso 4 pizze Margherite. Questa pizza mi ha ricordato totalmente Napoli. Il personale super gentile e cordiale e in 5 minuti ci sono arrivate 4 pizze. Niente da dire solo buonissimo.

This is my third time here for the same Zucca pizza which has a pumpkin base and it's interesting and worth giving a try for a unique gastronomic experience.

Great-tasting pizza at a reasonable price. Both the classic margherita and the unusual “pumpkin base” pizzas were great! If you don’t need to sit inside to eat and aren’t too fussed by some messy hands (!), definitely worth checking out if you’re near Liverpool St.

Great fast yummy pizza Naples style

I don't usually leave reviews but the service here is remarkably bad. A girl with long tied hair took my order, turned to talk to another girl working and ignored me and asked for my order again. Its not that bad but their energy is awful and awkward. Food is ok for the price.

It's very good in terms of price and performance, definitely rate it.

Really enjoyed the folded pizza, perfect snack for a quick stop by at Spitalfields. :) (The truffle mayo is awesome btw, go give that a try!)

Pizza portfolio very delicious! Fresh out of the oven and molten hot in the middle (warning!) but the crust, sauce, and cheese and olive oil are all so good. Really high quality ingredients and great value for money.

I bought a pepperoni pizza, and while personally I'm not sure if I liked it as much as some other pizzas I've had, but it was very authentic in terms of how it was made and it looked and tasted great. The tomato sauce was sweet, and the crust was soft, fluffy, and lightly charred for that cool look. I was a bit surprised about the placement of the pepperoni, almost all of it was on one half of the pizza, but not necessarily a downside depending on the person.

Excellent pizzas, like in Naples: real street food. I recommend the wallet-friendly pizza. The aesthetics of the brand are also beautiful. The environment of the Spitalfields Market is excellent, a true place of worship.

A luxury food truck, it's crazy, you see how they do everything, the quality, the care and love they put into it and that shows in the final product, going and trying it while you visit the market and its surroundings is truly wonderful.

It's really good and tasty. The only thing is that it is all folded up, and as you eat the hot cheese and tomato slides to the bottom. But it was really tasty, and you have this pocket of melted cheese at the end.

Pizza was good. Had similarly good pizza in other places too, though. :D Staff was really helpful when I ordered the wrong thing at first and nice about it, too.

I visited Sud Italia, located in Spitalfields Market, and had a great experience. The portafoglio was only £5! There was a little bit of a queue, but the staff was working efficiently, and we got our pizza really quickly. The pizza was hot and very good! It was a very nice experience. There's seating available just near their little food stand.

Made in a proper pizza oven by a dedicated chef with impeccable focus, it’s a delightfully authentic slice that stands head and shoulders above typical street food fare, even if it’s no Michelin contender. The logistical side of the operation, however, leaves much to be desired. The two ladies at the till appeared as though they were counting down the minutes to closing time, their demeanor suggesting that customers were more of a nuisance than a source of income. One in particular exuded an air of hostility so strong that one might fear being sued for merely glancing in her direction. To make matters worse, this same surly server was seen handling the till, drinks, and food with her bare hands, without any sanitizing in between. This lack of basic hygiene is enough to make anyone think twice about returning. Overheard complaints from other patrons about the questionable hygiene practices, combined with the observation that the cheapest pizza was only £5, paint a less-than-flattering picture of the establishment’s overall service quality. In summary, Sud Italia excels where it matters most: the pizza. Yet, the service and hygiene practices detract significantly from the experience. It’s a place worth visiting for the food, but be prepared for a side of surly service and potential hygiene concerns.

Really the fastest and most delicious pizzeria. We tried the folded pizza The dough was very tasty and cooked very well. Since the pizza was folded, the filling flowed to the bottom, but it was still a successful pizza. Next time I will try the unfolded pizza

If you are looking for a proper Neapolitan pizza then look no further... these pizzas are fantastic! The crust is perfect, amazing sauce and the cheese is full of flavour. Probably the best pizza I have ever had in the UK! Great price and lovely staff.

Nice to have a folded pizza option. The dough is nice and the sauce is lovely if you like to enjoy the simple taste of tomato.

This was my second time tried in this place, first time pizza was nice, second time invited my Italian wife to try the pizza but it was not as good as first time.

The dough is amazing on these pizzas. I was worried that one wouldn’t be filling enough, but i finished very full. One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to.

Authentic Neapolitans style pizza

We have visited Rome several times but this pizza is exceptionally good. Late in the evening, when our hunger had not yet been satisfied, we discovered this restaurant and quickly rushed there. It was an extremely wise decision. The food was inexpensive, the service was quick and very friendly, and the pizza was incredibly tasty.

Convenient place to reach, 5 min walk from Liverpool Station. Exceptional pizza, very light dough and fresh, tasty ingredients! My travel companions and I tasted the famous wallet pizza, but we would have liked to eat them all! Super recommended! 🤩

Been there with some friends and tried the famous "pizza portafoglio", it was excellent! Very easy to reach by metro and busses, as it is close to Liverpool st.

Pizza wasgood, would of been nicer if it was more crispy and with less oil but the only thing that would of been better is if the staff werent talking about their customers in italian made it more uncomfortable but if your around the area is pretty good to try!
