Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza in City of London, Westminster

Good service and tasty pizza. Would go back and take more friends. We were a group of 6. The pizza and drinks all came super fast. They did much up our bill and we blindly paid it as it was being split 6 ways. As we left we noticed there were things on the bill we hadn’t ordered. I went back in and showed them and it was sorted out straight away! Excellent. Mistakes happen, but it’s how they’re sorted out that’s important. Will be back.

Pizzas are utterly amazing. The base is the best I have ever had. The service was so good to Staff always checking up on how we were and whether we needed anything else. Would highly recommend

I always order a pizza from this restaurant when I'm in London, really authentic good Neapolitan pizza in London and in my opinion the best outside of Italy. I recommend the ones with Nduja and Portobello mushrooms. A nice combination and, best of all, the Nduja aioli is an absolute must.

Good Neapolitan pizza, light and very tasty dough! Good price and fast, friendly and attentive service from the girl who always attended to us with a smile! I recommend it!

Many thanks to the lovely staff at Rudy's who had us seated and our wonderful meals on the table very promptly when my wife and I turned up running a little close to our theatre show start time on a busy Friday night. Special mention to our waiter for the evening Mattia who was attentive , informative and friendly. Many thanks for a delicious dining experience.

Very very busy (and noisy) but couldn't fault the food or staff! Tables need booking but turnover at the bar round the kitchen is pretty fast and you'll probably get a seat there on a walk in. Would definitely return.

I had a meltdown because I couldn't speak English at all and the roaming translator didn't work, but they waited for me very kindly and took my order. The food is really delicious!

I have never felt so rushed by staff in my life. They would not stop harassing us. My friend joined me for dinner, and hadn't even put her coat on the back of her chair before we were being asked if we were ready to order. I understand you want to get as many covers in as possible, but calm down! Considering how visible she made herself, the staff member in charge of our section spoke in little more than a whisper and I could not understand most of what she was asking/saying, which became very irritating considering we barely had 5 minutes throughout the meal in which she did not interrupt us to ask us yet another question. We had been in the restaurant about 10 minutes by the time mains arrived, and considering how quick it was, I was amazed to find that the pizza went stone cold immediately. For a similar price, there are other restaurants in very close proximity that are far more enjoyable. And the pizza really isnt anything groundbreaking. No, I did not enjoy the experience, and I will not be returning.

The pepperonni pizza is the best I've ever had. The lemonade is very good, and the tiramisu too. Recommended, but try to reserve because it fills up

We recently visited Rudy’s in Soho, and while the experience had potential, it fell short in a few areas. The pizza itself was a bit underwhelming, and honey dip was not helping, though the burrata we added was a lovely touch and helped improve the dish. However, we were disappointed by the “optional” service charge. Our group was just three people, with only one of us eating, yet the charge was added without any discussion. If it’s labeled as “optional,” it would feel more transparent and thoughtful if staff confirmed whether to include it. We would have preferred to tip the waitress(Marvyn) directly, as the service was great. Before leaving this review, we did try to address our concerns via email, but unfortunately, no one responded, making it clear email isn’t the best way to contact them. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, a more transparent approach to charges and better communication would make for a much better experience.

Had booked on a very busy Saturday evening. Service was great. Pizzas were almost too quick to arrive, they did look/feel a bit rushed but were tasty nonetheless. We were surprised that Rudy’s don’t offer a GF dough, it seems to be standard across most other chains.

Pizza was good. The salad was below average. James collected it still uneaten and didn’t bother to ask if there was something wrong. Quite poor customer service. The atmosphere is ok, nothing special.

The food was very good. The pizza is first class. If you are looking for a traditional Neapolitan pizza, you will not only find it here but also love it.

Seriously good pizza! Had a terrific night with friends at Rudy's in Soho. Friendly, welcoming staff, great drinks and out of this world pizza, topped off with a tiramisu martini. All for a reasonable price and no pineapple in sight. Pizza how it should be done.

I ate Caesar salad, it wasn’t the best. And the waiter for more than three times approached and asked if we are done despite the fact that there weren’t any customers waiting to sit. We felt in so much pressure. It wasn’t a nice experience.

This is a really cool vibrant place well located in Soho. The staff was super friendly and very efficient. We had starters (amazing) and then pizza for dinner. We ordered 5 different ones so that we could try each of them. Likely the best pizza I have had in London!

Stop thinking and go! I've tried most places in London specializing in Neopolitan style pizza and Rudy's has firmly taken the number one spot. Amazing choices, absolutely stunning ingredients (get the Burata and Campana starters) great specials (the Tripolo Pomodoro E Bufala was divine), and tasty cocktails (try the tiramisu martini). Will 100% be back for the food and for the wonderful Luigi who took excellent care of us during our time at Rudy's.

The waiter was constantly asking if we are done and he can bring the bill despite there were not any customers waiting to be seated. That wasn’t a nice experience.

I absolutely love this place with its reliably great pizza. You have to be careful as many of the options contain parmesan which is not vegetarian. The waiters are kind enough to remove that from the pizza. I usually end up ordering a vegetarian version of a meat pizza.

The atmosphere is very lively, the pizza is excellent. I will be going back again 👏👏

Guys, if you come from Italy, I advise you not to eat pizza here. We had dinner in this place thinking of eating an "Italian" pizza but it wasn't like that... unfortunately there were things that negatively characterized our experience, such as the raw dough which made the pizza rubbery, the lack of tomato towards the edges , and the total absence of fried/roasted potatoes (since they don't make them at all) and the poor light at the table (we used our phones to read the menus). For non-Italians, ok, it may even be good, but Neapolitan pizza is something completely different...

Pizza was good, though a bit too soft for my taste and seemed they skimped on the flour. However, the overall experience was uncomfortable as we were stared at from top to bottom throughout our lunch. Not welcoming for a family visit.

Good pizzas with very thin dough. It was possible to sit after a while in queue without reservation. The prices are cheaper than most restaurants nearby.

In Soho we finally find an excellent pizza!! Light dough and good pizza cooking. Excellent value for money also considering the location. Fast and attentive service, welcoming and helpful staff. Well done!

Please take a look at the amount of toppings and its locations. U can clearly see pizza has been prepared dismissively. Sunday, 29th Dec 15-16:00 We used to come here every weekend so we clearly know something has changed. Honestly. We left disappointed. The ingredients been reduced gradually, less cheese, ham, artichokes, - tomato base isnt spread evenly thru the dough. The sides of the pizza looks "empty". Guys, ur not a food wagon take away, this is central London, step up ur game !

It is a pleasant place that deserves 5 stars in its own right, where the employees are mainly Italian. It has pizzas that do not seem like Neapoli pizza at first glance, but make you feel the difference when eating them. A pleasant dinner with nice tomato sauce and cheap table wine. Despite the crowd, pizza is on your table in approximately 15-20 minutes. A fast and enjoyable option.

A much needed pizzeria in Soho. For such a popular area, there is a surprising lack of good pizza spots. The pizzas are a classic Neapolitan style without being too soggy which is always a good thing.

Had a fantastic time here yesterday. Really busy, but never felt rushed - staff were great with our kids, talking through the pizza options and recommending what they thought they’d like. Pizzas came out really quickly and were delicious and HUGE!!! Kids went downstairs after to play a game of table football and are already asking when we can come back. The pizza is literally similar to the ones you get in Napoli. The service is amazing, and the food is incredible. The only thing I would suggest improving is the space downstairs, it’s so crowded with noises and people screaming in order to hear the other person next to them. It was too noisy for us! But the rest is just incredible!

Came here on Friday night and the staff were very friendly and accomodating even though we did not have a booking. There was only a short wait before being sat. I got the Romagnola pizza and it was delicious and a bit bigger than your standard napoli pizza. We also had a bottle of the red wine from Puglia which was great. Even thought it was a busy Friday night, our pizza came out fast and fresh and we didn't feel rushed to vacate the table.

Fab food, totally authentic Italian pizza i heard only Italian being spoken at the pizza oven what a treat! Our waitress was really lovely as well.

Wonderfully humming and warm establishment, offering a wide variety of pizzas. The star of the evening was ERIKA, our fantastic waitress who went WAY beyond with everything - she suggested a pizza which was out of this world good, was kind and friendly and so attentive that I simply had to give her a hug. She's a perfect example of right person at a right place - a True Professional. And a Lovely Human to boot! I WILL return!!!

We used to enjoy this restaurant and had visited a few times before, but our last visit completely changed our opinion. What we saw was shocking and disappointing, especially in terms of hygiene. We sat near the pizza preparation area, so we could clearly see everything. The staff were handling food with bare hands, adding toppings to pizzas, and serving them to tables. When they returned, they didn’t bother to wash their hands before touching new pizzas. One female staff member even took out lip balm or moisturiser from her pocket, applied it, wiped her lips with her hand, and then carried on handling food. It got worse when I went to the toilet. A male employee, who was involved in making pizzas, left the toilet without washing his hands. I followed him upstairs and saw him go straight into the kitchen and continue preparing pizzas without washing his hands there either. This was shocking to see and made us lose all trust in the restaurant. It raises serious concerns about how the place is managed. I’m not only leaving this review but will also report the matter to the appropriate authorities. Hygiene standards must improve immediately.

Fantastic pizza and the service would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for one rather busy manager that would have made Arteta proud it was perfection. The lady who looked after our tables was fantastic though. All in all if you're in central London and need a pizza check out Rudys!

Pizza cutters were poor. We spent so much time cutting the pizzas that they ended up getting cold, so we couldn’t really enjoy their taste. However, the staff were very helpful and amazing!

The place was bustling and lively. The servers were extremely lovely and very polite, and went out of their way to make conversation. Really made my day! Would definitely recommend.

Me and my boyfriend qued for about half an hour before giving up. I totally get it was a busy Saturday night, but the staff really looked down on us for not having a reservation. They told us to wait '2 minutes' and kept us waiting or half an hour, totally avoiding eye contact or letting us know what was going on. Everyone that did have reservations pushed past us and got treated well by staff. Because we didn't reserve, and may I add we were extremely well dressed, we were totally abandoned. If they said they were too busy I wouldn't have minded at all, but we were told 2 minutes then no further information was given. We were pushed to the side and totally forgotten about. The waiter that spoke to us, short man with dark hair, did not reassure us once or keep us informed and looked at us like we were scum for not having a reservation. We ended up walking out. Also wanted to add, whilst mindlessly waiting, the staff seemed to care more about gossiping and chatting then laying tables and seeing to customers. Not going back!

We happened to pass it yesterday, were hungry and got in line. We didn't make a reservation because it was spontaneous. However, we had a table within 10 minutes, were served very friendly and the pizzas arrived quite quickly. The size of the pizzas was considerable and they tasted delicious. Keep it up!!! The pizzas we experienced,the Portobello,was a good price,very tasty and generous size.But it was a bit soggy in the middle.With theirhuge pizza oven you would think they could get the dough a bit crispier,as proper Italian pizzas are.

What a great place. Turned up as a party of 5. We were told 15 minutes and it was just that. Staff very help, even taught me the correct Italian word for really nice. The food was amazing!! All 5 pizzas were devoured!!

Service was brisk and average. Pizza was average. Not enough marinara sauce meant parts of the dough were uncovered and dry. Not much going on with flavours. For better Pizza, see Santa Maria or Franco-manca.

Love this place. I’ve been a few times, but one visit stands out - a Valentine’s Day spent here with the person who eventually broke my heart. The memory stings, but honestly, the pizza was so good, it almost softened the blow. That night, the pizza was perfection, just like she was… until she wasn’t. Now, I invest in therapy, but I still come back here, because some things are worth the heartache. If you’re looking for incredible pizza that makes you forget everything else, even just for a moment - this is the place.
