Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza in City of London, Westminster

Personally I’m a bit tired of Neapolitan pizza so this review may be biased. I felt like this place was a bit of a let down, food was not particularly great, and the menu was a bit boring. Having said so, prices were OK for the area and staff was very attentive and helpful! If you’re looking for a classic Neapolitan pizza restaurant this is definitely a good choice, although not particularly interesting imo.

Fantastic food. Truly delicious. Great service and location. The pizzas were delicious. Personally I would have added a few olives to the antipasto with salami prosciutto and mozzarella but it was still great. Five stars ✨

Delicious pizza, not too expensive. Nice cocktails. I went there a few times and the pizza never disappoints. The Margherita con buffala with extra wild boar salame is delicious. My recommendation to the restaurant: bring back the carbonara pizza!!! It was only a limited edition, unfortunately…

I think this might be the BEST pizza place I have ever been! Turned up with a mate without a booking on a Thursday night and was lucky to get a table! The restaurant is really clean, has a great atmosphere and just looks like a proper traditional pizza place. The service was quick and the staff were great! All very helpful and very quick and happy to help. The food… was absolutely brilliant!! I had the tuna pizza and it was cooked to perfection, the dough was absolutely perfect and the portion size was just right! Filled me up and it was just delicious! A really reasonable price also!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be visiting again!!

It's a very large place so good for groups in Soho. We were asked several times if we wanted to order but we were chatting so we needed more time. I also know that napoletana pizza only takes a few mins so wasn't in a rush. We ordered two pies - margherita and the romagnola. Both were good. I am from NY so can be a tough critic but i would definitely com back

Pizza is fantastic as always cannot fault it. However, the service was questionable. Our server was the Scottish girl and it felt like she was trying to rush us to take orders etc. When she did take our order she didn't write it down and then had to come back to try and go over our orders again. When we finished our food, she put the dessert menu down then tried to take it from us even though we hadn't yet decided if we were having dessert.

Service was amazing. Make sure you ask for Tom. Food and Drinks also excellent.

Delicious pizza. Fast and easy before a show. Walked in for a spot for 2 at 6 with no wait. Had 2 pizzas and we’re done by 630. Would go again, great Neapolitan style pizza. Line was out the door by 630 so arrive early.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Pizza Calabrese; it was delicious. The service was excellent, which only added to the overall experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I recently visited Rudy’s Pizza in Soho for the third time this month, and once again, they did not disappoint! The quality of their pizza remains consistently exceptional. What made this visit even more memorable was the outstanding service provided by Clemmy, our waiter. Highly recommended!

We came here for my son's 20th birthday and had an amazing time. The restaurant was buzzy with a great atmosphere, staff super friendly and the pizza was out of this world!! Portion sizes are very generous!! We both had eyes bigger than our stomachs and ended up taking some of our food home. Highly recomend Rudy's! Make sure you book well in advance though, it gets very busy! We can't wait to come back!

Booked at table for early Saturday evening. Arrived early and were seated straight away. Food was fantastic as was the service. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return!

Great taste of pizza, but the service leaves much to be desired. The waiters rush between the tables to take your plate as quickly as possible after you've almost finished eating to push your time in the restaurant, and you feel a little embarrassed towards the end when you see that they just want you to vacate the table. I understand that it is a business for money, but I also go to a restaurant to feel good and enjoy the food I paid for and to have a pleasant experience. On the other hand, I didn't experience anything like that. Also, we waited at the entrance for about 5 minutes until one of the waiters took us to a table. I understand that they were busy, but they simply walked past us as if we were invisible, even if there are no seats available, I think it's nice that they interact with customers, not just walk past us and ignore us...

Really good sour dough pizza and friendly service. The only thing that lets the place down is that it's too busy with a noise level that makes it difficult to enjoy your pizza.

Totally recommended place to eat. The staff is great, fast and friendly. The food is incredible. It is a little hot in the place due to the ovens.

Great dining experience! The pizza was fantastic. We had 2 pizza and cheesy garlic bread and it was all fantastic! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We waited 1 hour before entering because we did not have a reservation. Cozy place, very cute. Very large pizza, very good pâté but few toppings. I asked for extra ham, I got 3 small pieces. Too bad, the taste is not there.

That said - the last time we visited we had booked, but were still asked to join the queue of walk-ins which was frustrating That said - superb pizza, quickly delivered once ordered and great olives Would recommend

Loved it. Fast crisp Neapolitan pizza, excellent service (Teem, you're a star), and well-priced. Get the trio of dips with your pizza. Lots more room inside than you can see from outside, so delighted to be seated without reservation at 5.45 on a Friday. When we left at 7 the queue was deservedly out of the door!

The pizza was fenomenal.. We flew in from Miami and went to have lunch. Service was excellent thanks to our waiter, Clemmy. If one is in London and wants authentic pizza napoletana, this is the place.

First time in Rudys London. Many times in Manchester. Same high standard of service, great food and good atmosphere. A special mention too for our server Georgina.

I may not be an expert on pizza, but what we got had neither taste nor smell, I could only cry, unfortunately for eating a piece of iceberg lettuce with dressing, it was the whole salad and I had to cut it myself, the only thing I can recommend is beer , tastes good and well poured. Service, well, young people with chewing gum in their mouths, pushing between tables and making unpleasant comments towards customers, even though there were free tables, we waited 10 minutes for someone to let us in (there was no one in front of us). I won't go back there again, but I'm not saying that someone might not like it.

Great vibe, great food, will be back. Recommend reserving a table on their website. No deposit required. Positive experience on arrival as despite a queue out the door for walk ins, they seated my reservation on time. Pizza is gorgeous. Gutted I couldn’t try a dessert as I had the train to catch but I’m sure it would have been just as good. Service was friendly and the place overall just had a good vibe and bustle to it.

Excellent overall. Good quality Italian pizzas, vibrant atmosphere, spacious and cosy dining room, friendly and high-spirited staff, good prices. If I were to make any suggestions for improvement, I would put some extra salami in the salami pizza and make the tomato sauce just a little bit more tasty.

It's incredible, we went on our trip to London and the pizzas are crazy, the workers are lovely, I would repeat 100%.

This guy's go cheap on ingredients...pizza is just a pita bread with a splash of tomato sauce. Not recomended.

The pizzas were a bit disappointing I would say. Four stars still because of the good service and the low prices. I would repeat it if in need but not one of the top pizzas in the area.

My wife and I were welcomed by Luigi and all the staff! Kindness is at home. The very beautiful environment! Great for spending an evening with friends! Now the strong point, a FANTASTIC pizza! (trust me, we are Neapolitans) excellent raw materials, light dough. You just have to go and taste it! Thanks again Luigi for your hospitality, when we return to London it will be our first stop!

We had a booking (November 23) and arrived early. The host Marvin went out of his way to find us a table even thought we were early which was much appreciated. The atmosphere was lively without being too loud, serving staff were friendly and polite, food arrived fast, hot and tasty. Will definitely return!

Got a table after waiting fifteen minutes. There were quite a few tables unused, possibly reserved. It is quite noisy with background music. After ordering, the pizzas arrived in record time. Tuna pizza, Cesar salad and tiramisu were delicious. Montepulciano wine was a bit flat. Pellegrino not larger than 0.5L. There was still a long line when we left, even though there were more free tables. Puzzling or is the row part of the concept?

Really good experience. Book a table in advance, I highly recommend it, because the pizzeria is always busy with a queue. The service is quick and the atmosphere is nice, staff was friendly and chatty despite being very busy. Our waiter, Clemmy, was attentive and polite. We had capricciosa, cinghiale and porchetta. The brownie with ice cream was sooo good!

If you are really looking for Neapolitan pizza, this restaurant is like you are in Sicily. It is truly a restaurant that deserves 5 stars, and I would like to thank Brother Yassin for his good treatment.

1/5 I’ll start with the positives: the host tonight who was wearing the tiny sunglasses was so sweet and he was such a vibe. The pizza was also good, the dough is exactly like Franco Manca so if you like one you’ll like the other. However I will never come back to Rudy’s because of the horrible customer service I got from our waiter Clemmy. He was not only acting slimy and getting in our personal space all evening, being overly friendly in an uncomfortable way, but also made fun of me for asking for no garlic on my marinara pizza and no cheese on my Caesar salad. Which I could have gotten over because okay, asking for 2 menu changes can come across as “difficult” to some people, but then he brought the Caesar salad out absolutely covered in cheese. I politely said to him, “Sorry, I asked for no cheese on the salad” and he responded flatly, “you can’t remove the cheese”. Which is a lie, and so stupid because the cheese was clearly just dumped on the top of the salad. He refused to try to get me a new one with no cheese so I ended up picking the salad apart and just eating a few leaves underneath that didn’t have cheese. He then came to get the salad when we finished our pizzas and he laughed, saying “you didn’t eat it because of the cheese?” And I said “yes because I asked for no cheese and you told me that was fine but then brought it with cheese”. And he laughed again shaking his head, walking away. When I asked for the bill, we waited for 30 minutes for him to bother to remember to bring it. When it finally arrived I asked for the salad to be removed or discounted because of his error, to which he started arguing with me that I never asked for no cheese. (?!?!) At this point my friend was just gaping at him because she remembered that I definitely asked for no cheese on the salad as well, and we were both just looking at each other shocked at his rudeness. He said he couldn’t remove the salad from the bill anyway because he didn’t have the power to. I used to work as a waitress for many years and lots of different restaurants, and I know for a fact that he could have easily grabbed his supervisor to remove the salad from the bill which happens all the time in service and takes 2 minutes, but he clearly couldn’t be bothered to make it right and admit he’d made a mistake. Honestly disgusting behaviour for someone getting paid to interact professionally with customers. He then gave us the card machine with the cost split in 2, and as I was paying, he had added the “optional” service charge onto our total without asking or giving me the option. That was honestly the cherry on the cake of the worst experience with a waiter ever because when I realised this, my Apple Pay had already gone through so I couldn’t ask him to remove it. He then pushed us so hard when we were about to leave saying we needed to leave a review and talking us through the QR code, leaning over and getting creepily close to my friend’s face who was already so uncomfortable, and I just laughed because if he wants a review so bad, here it is! If you go to Rudy’s, I would make sure your waiter isn’t named Clemmy if I were you 😊 But I’ve only ever had positive experiences with staff at Franco Manca so I’d recommend you go there instead!

Awesome!! It is as if we flew to Italy and had the pizzas at the best place. You really must go if you want to have a REAL PIZZA. The staff is super. She helped us celebrate my wife’s birthday with a Tiramisu toped in with a candle.

Nice place to try new foods or if you’re very hungry. The waiters were nice especially Laura

Service was good. Pizza tasted odd, we took both a white one and a margherita and they both tasted sweet like they had honey on top of it. Also we ordered the brownie with icecream and the brownies were cold and hard.

Fantastic pizzeria! The pizzas are excellent and generously sized. The ambiance is delightful. I highly suggest it for a pizza experience in Soho. While the pizzas are large, I'd recommend getting one per adult. Check the board on the wall for the recommended menu. The capricciosa was delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly, making it a great spot for both adults and kids. I'd go back anytime.

Pretty good pizza. Not up there with the very best but a good option in Soho at a reasonable price. Slightly more American style than Neopolitan in my view
