Excellent service from Gilda -pizza was divine

I find this unacceptable! They charge you extra service costs without being notified. It's like giving a forced tip. The prices of the restaurant are not very high and I didn't have to pay too much. However, someone who is going to make a huge bill will also pay a lot of services since they charge it with percentage. Nevertheless, I don't mind the amount so much than the principal of charging me extra without knowing. I bet they make some extras from people that never check the receipts. I don't know even if that's legal. If someone sees that and knows, please report to make that change. Thank you! (I will never again visit this restaurant)

Very slow service spoilt the meal. Took 40 minutes to ask as about dessert after clearing our main course (asked why I didn’t chase them) and then another 20 minutes to bring the dessert.

We were served by Krasi, the service is recommended and the pizza was great

This is the best pizza in London. The atmosphere is so cozy and so heartwarming. George is one of the BEST out there. He was very nice and so kind with us and made our dinner PERFECT. If you go there, choose always GEORGE. He can suggest you the best pizza to eat, and the best drink to combine. We will always come back to Pizza Pilgrims! 🤍

I went with my friend for dinner at Pizza Pilgrims , George the waiter was there he was amazing , he looked after us perfectly and suggest us the best pizza ! Great service from George ! Fully Recommended

I have reviwed this place already as being in the indoor walk in centre. The reason for my low score is not anything to do with the food which is exemplary. My issue was that I attended with my son and we were behind a group of four german tourists who were seated before us which was fair. However as we were queuing and the queue was building an attractive young Asian girl came round the queue and started talking conspiratorially with the female front of house who was seating people. As we should have been being seated when the next table became available she inexplicably seated the Asian girl whilst pointedly saying in our direction that she had booked whe she clearly hadn't. This of course infuriated myself and my son to the point of nearly just walking away. We didn't because we both really love the Pizza here and we waited the extra 15 mins or so and went in and had a lovely meal after the female FOH had gone off to flirt with another solo male customer who also inexplicably jumped the queue. The Asian female clearly hadn't booked and this made my son and me feel pretty rubbish and the bad taste of this wasn't completely taken away by the admittedly very good meal. A big harumph!

very good pizza but i had very high expectations so i was a tiny bit disappointed. i expected a pizza with 8 cheeses to have a lot of flavour but it was instead very delicate. the dough was excellent. however the service was a bit lacking. they forgot to bring us water and we had to ask a second time.

We had 3 nice pizza’s. They tasted good, although the crust could have been a little bit less broad. Furthermore just what you would expect in a pizzeria. We were waited upon by Darcie, who served us well, kind and on time.

We went to Pizza Pilgrims on Carnaby today as we looked at the reviews and thought it looked pretty good! It was god awful to say the least. Needless to say that with a 4.8 out of 5, I’m expecting high standards - well, as high as you can for a pizza place. The service was SLOW. The lady seated us downstairs in a booth where the children had access to game consoles and a TV, I thought this was great! But realised it was the only one in the restaurant, so we felt like we’d been purposely sat far away in case our children disturbed the atmosphere. Next, the service. Possibly the worst service I have ever had to encounter for a well-reviewed restaurant. The drinks and food order was taken 10-15 minutes after being seated (we were parched) and then the drinks were delivered substantially later than expected - 27 minutes to be exact. Then the food came 48 minutes later!!! It was absolutely appalling. Then, our food came and it arrived COLD. Not even to the level which you would expect as part of food health and safety regulations. We ate and drank as we had waited for so long, we were starving and were afraid that if we waited any longer and complained about the food it would take just as long to resolve. Then when the lady came over she had asked us why we didn’t inform her about the pizza, but she never came to check up on us re. Once the food was delivered - nor anyone else!! We complained and instead of getting an apology, the lady asked my mother in law if she would like another pizza when she had clearly eaten a pizza. The lady offered a Nutella ring for desert and we said no as we were stuffed and that arrived quicker than the pizza, which we didn’t ask for or want. Poor communication and a complete waste of resources for the restaurant. THEN, the children who were expecting their ice creams as part of their children’s menu never arrived, so the children had no desert even though that was part of the children’s menu. We did complain to the lady and after we politely and graciously shared our awful dining experience and the food quality, she never returned to the table again to take our payment and WE had to go to HER to take payment. What sort of establishment has customers actively go up to them to pay for their meal? Honestly, it’s a real shame as the pizza would have been good if it was served hot but I cannot say whether it was any good as I had to eat mine cold. As per the authenticity of the pizza served with the best ingredients from Italy, which relays this on the menu - I cannot say it does after what I had eaten. Unfortunately, if I could give this place less than 1 star rating I would. The experience I had was unforgettable and not in a positive way. It may not be the best of the best, but I still expect a restaurant charging 12.5% service charge to the public to be up to standard with service.

There are different types of exotic but also basic flavours. We had a nice time, with a nice ambiente and most important really good food. Our waitress George brought positiv vibes and took really good care of us. Overall a really nice dinner. Come and visit!

Got served pizza with meat when I stressed that I wanted it without the bacon as I was a strict vegetarian (for religious reasons). Saw the server didn’t write down my order but only found out after I had a slice of pizza and saw some meat bits poking out. If you have any dietary requirement I would not recommend this place sorry.

took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks! Nothing else just drinks. A table that came a lot after us got our food before us. It took 45 minutes (in general not with getting drinks)to get all our food. I wouldn’t come again.

Each bite was a reminder of authentic Italian pizza. Our server, George, was fantastic—attentive and friendly, with great recommendations. He suggested trying their spicy 'nduja pizza, which I plan to try on my next visit. The only downside was a slight wait for our pizzas, but it was worth it for the quality of the food. Overall, Pizza Pilgrims offers delicious pizza in a vibrant setting, and I look forward to returning soon!

Recently moved to London and this has been the best pizza experience I have had! Our waitress, Artemis, was lovely, and the food is a decent price (I’m on an apprentice wage). All in all it was a lovely experience (and the vanilla gelato is to die for)!!!

I joined the queue for a table st Carnaby branch. A guy called Romanos was serving. He skipped me and served the people who arrived after me and later he told me to wait to clean a table 10 minutes later and the table was still not available when I asked him how long I will have to wait he said he will take 3 orders and then he will clean the table. He also asked me if I am always like that and then I left without being served.
