Went here for afternoon tea on 24 July 2024. We had a gift card, which was good as it costs £100 per person. The food was excellent - sandwiches, scones and cake. I particularly liked the very thick clotted cream. Our waiter was very good. Would recommend for the experience of the surroundings. We even got to see Bruce Springsteen!

Claridge's is a 5-star hotel in London's Mayfair district that's known for its art deco style, elegant rooms, and impeccable service. The hotel has been open since 1856 and has hosted many famous guests, including Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and Audrey Hepburn

I wanted to try the lobster Benedict and I was a little late for my reservation. The cook didn't want to make the dish. So I had a couple of drinks , enjoyed the space and wrote a mean email to the establishment. The next day a woman contacted me and asked me on a conference call to look into the situation. I was invited back on Friday of that week and treated very very very well. I realize things can't be perfect in the hospitality industry but people at claridges like miss Howard, absolutely make it amazing. I highly recommend this place because of its fantastic work ethic and commitment to the customer experience. The service here, is better then one can get at the Paris Ritz. The food and bars are excellent. The property is exemplary. Well done claridges.

We went there for just the afternoon tea experience. Sandwiches were lovely and fresh, scones were tasty but quite small. The cakes were just ok and again small pieces. The staff were great. Highly professional. However, a bit overpriced for what it was and they add on 15% service charge too which makes it very expensive!. A once in a lifetime experience but not worth for what they charge.

Claridge's in Mayfair is an iconic and luxurious hotel that offers a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with impeccable service and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The hotel's bar and restaurant are also top-notch, with a wide selection of delicious food and drinks. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the major attractions in London. I would highly recommend Claridge's to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable stay in London.

My husband and I first went to Claridge's for afternoon tea early on in our relationship. A few years later, after getting engaged, we thought we'd look around their function rooms, just to see what it was like and Cat (the events coordinator) was so lovely and friendly, and the rooms were so beautiful, every other venue we looked around just didn't compare, so we ended up getting married there. The whole planning process was a breeze, and Cat and the rest of the staff were amazing, taking all the stress out it. Every time we visited we were treated so well (given free champagne, an Easter egg, etc.), and their in-house choreographer (Marius) was so lovely we ended up doing more lessons. Whenever we go back, even just for a meal, they always treat us so well. I would 100% recommend Claridge's, its the best London hotel by far, and worth every penny.

We took the afternoon tea here. Since there are no fixed starting times, it is relatively busy and less elegant than in other hotels of a comparable category. The meals were fine and sufficient.

Today my husband and I dined at the Foyer. We have been to Claridges before for dinner and afternoon tea. We were looked after by Aaron Jairo and Purna. We couldn’t have been made to feel more special. Their attention to detail is beyond and I am a perfectionist! Thank you all for a wonderful afternoon. We also began in the Fumoir where the service and cocktails are superb! X

Met up with my sister for breakfast at Claridges. Chose the vegetarian option with fresh juices and Claridges signature tea with pastries. Absolutely delicious and to make the experience extra special we had the best waiter in the room. Big thank you to Mario for looking after us. Definitely recommend. Great service price and experience. Wonderful decor. True luxury.

We begin with scallop in its shell with a little apple, a little horseradish, and – lest we’re feeling chilly – a cup of hot scallop broth. Classically paired with von Kesselstatt Riesling Spätlese, it’s both delicious and pretty. A speck or two of salt is visible: any more would be too much. Humm works at that level of precision. There follows chawanmushi, whose ingredients – king crab, black truffle, daikon, silky custard – would work any which way. Cornish crab is simple bliss, the sparkling flakes of white meat piled on to a tiling of cucumber slices. Seared Portland scallops with pink grapefruit, radicchio, broad beans and hollandaise offers more complex, bitter pleasures but the same commitment to best-in-class ingredients.

We visit this Hotel since the 60’s, i wasn’t even born yet. But my family and family buss. asociates introduced us here.Among others especialy Mr, John Angus ( Bud) Mc Dougald of Argus Corp. had his own Suite in this Hotel in the 60’s. He was one of Canada’s most influential buss. men of all times, with ties to the British Royal Family and our late Queen Elizabeth even stayed at Green Meadows or at “the Castle”Teddington Park 174a. The fact that he was a regular guest in this establiscent, combined with my own experiance, i can say without honor that; this is without a doubt the best Hotel in the world! Thank you for having me at all times, providing us with more that epic services! Everything that can be out in words is about your Hotel is a mere understatement.

Raw chicken and overcooked pork! 😖 We were celebrating with the family a few weeks ago and two of us ordered the sharing chicken - looked great but it was so raw inside! The rest of us got the pork but it was so overcooked and chewy! It's a shame because the building is lovely but it's not really good enough from the chefs.. the head waiter was very apologetic and didnt charge us for the chicken, but I just don't think it should've got to that stage 😔

Well, we were about to drop $2k on a suite at this hotel only to discover that you have to book everything in advance. Book your breakfast time. Book your lunch time. Book your evening meal. But, get this.... you even have to book to get a drink at their bar!?! Only to then discover they are entirely 'booked up' two weeks a head. So, that means you can make a room reservation only to discover as a paying guest (at this 5* hotel) that normal amenities won't be available to you. Seriously, who is required to book a drink at the bar two weeks ahead of time? Hello... it's almost 2024, we're not in Covid-19 pandemic times any more. The hotel even has lots of rooms available for the date required, so it's not like they're fully booked. Clearly they are taking far too many bookings from non-guests and folk off the streets. Is that greed at the detriment of hotel guests? Probably. Sorry, we can't stay here. There are far too many other 5* London hotels that let you visit their bar whenever you like to purchase a $25 drink, and go down to breakfast when you want. You don't need to 'book' ahead. Who on earth wants all these kinds of unnecessary restrictions in this day and age? I have no idea in two weeks time when I might want a glass of wine at the bar or what time I may wake up and want breakfast! Shame!

I can't even praise everyone enough for being so kind, generous, considerate and overall amazing! My mother-in-law, Luch, wanted a special day with her favourite girls at a special place so we went to the Claridge's or March 6, 2023 for afternoon tea. Luch was on oxygen and wheelchair and they have made everything very comfortable for her, asking her frequently if she needed anything; they even took the spare oxygen tank in our car when hers ran out. We booked the Reading Room so we can have our own space as Luch cannot be too exposed and Leo was our personal waiter who did an amazing job and was very entertaining and professional. The food was undoubtedly scrumptious and the pastries and the wide array of tea were outstanding! We loved every bite and every drop! At the end of the tea party, they handed Luch a care package and that just melted everyone's hearts witnessing how thoughtful they were. Luch verbally said to them, "Thank you for making this extra special, this is my goodbye to my girls." My mother-in-law passed peacefully a week after, wearing her favourite cashmere socks which was gifted by the Claridges team. This was her last time out and you didn't just deliver but surpassed every expectation we ever could imagine, you went far and beyond. We can't thank you enough, Claridge's Team.

One of the finest properties I have ever stayed in, right in the middle of London where in a minute you can be at the busiest places and the moment you step in to your room it’s all nice and quiet that you don’t want to peek outside the window to see the urbanized world of buildings only. Bar is always busy but busy because of the beauty of it. From the moment you step through its doors, you're greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. Duty manager Amin and his team were super helpful and left no stone unturned to make our stay unforgettable.

From the moment I arrived until my departure, my stay at Claridge’s Hotel in London was nothing short of spectacular. Celebrating my birthday in such an iconic establishment made my special day even more memorable. The hotel exudes elegance and charm, with its luxurious accommodations and impeccable service. I was particularly impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. A special shout-out to Amine, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. His attention to detail, kindness, and exceptional service truly stood out and added a personal touch to my birthday celebrations. The ambiance, the exquisite dining options, and the overall experience at Claridge’s have left a lasting impression on me.
