Overall, it's a bit salty and sweet - When you really want to eat Korean food during a long trip If you want to eat Korean food that feels like kimbap heaven, I think it’s okay! The atmosphere feels like a domestic kimbap franchise. Since there were only foreigners at our table, it felt good to see that Korean food was well established! Therefore, it would be better if more attention was paid to the store interior.

Food 10, great service and atmosphere. We enjoyed the offer which we found interesting. Harick and janak were super nice to us and we laughed a lot with them!

The kimchi stew is very flavorful. A taste that has been boiled for three days. So, it’s a bit mild. Jajangmyeon tastes like something you eat at a rest stop. Chicken is delicious

Great food, everything was fresh and delicious mad garlic and red devil kfc were definitely a group favourite.

Tasty Korean food. The portions were big, very fulfilling. We only stayed downstairs for a good meal. Space is small, luckily we had a reservation today. Service is good. Please note there’s a small charge for the service. We came on Saturday so we couldn’t try the “bottomless wings”. Might try to come again on weekdays.

Great food to have on a cold day. We left so full afterwards it's definitely worth going. We tried the omelette rice with Tofu Katsu which was really good. There's not much space if the upstairs is closed so make sure to arrive in advance.

This is my second visit this year after living in London for 3 years, and it's really delicious. I really like chicken and beer, so I think I'll come here often from now on. I came around 5:30 on Friday, and the first floor was full, so I was directed to the second floor. I think you can eat without waiting if you go a little early. Food was amazing and reminded me of Korean chicken. The food came out so quick and enjoyed various flavors so much for the first time in a while. The staff Lilly and Allie were so nice, helpful and doing great for the service.

The Korean fried chicken is really tasty and Lilly and Allie were really nice to us. Highly recommended whether you want to enjoy some nice Korean food or just a casual meal.

Fried chicken was disappointing with my half/half chicken full of cheap wing pieces. I had Cheemc 3-4 years ago and they used to serve better quality chicken and more parts of the chicken. They even changed the cheesy powdered chips from thick cut chips to regular ones. Sweet chilly sauce and honey butter flavours, however, were good as usual.

This no frills restaurant is what it says on the tin. Reasonable prices and decent food, perfect for a lunch. The service I have to say was less than ideal, and as I was ordering the server did pull the menu out of my hands. It made me laugh but it wasn’t great. I had the fried udon with chicken katsu on top and it was good. Needed some extra soy sauce as the chicken was a little dry but other than that it was a good lunch. Would return but might try somewhere else first.

The food was good. I recommend to go with friends and have different flavours of fried chicken. The staff are friendly and know the menu well. The atmosphere is pretty much a canteen but the price is fair. The toilets need a bit of work.

Ali was our attendant for the day. He attended to us as soon as he noticed that no one was taking our order. He explained how to unlimited chicken wings work and made sure we were comfortable in our corner seat. Drinks were served promptly as well as the food. Thank you.

Really poor experience. Booked and yet still had to wait 30 mins for a table. Service so slow that we ended up leaving, 6:45 booking and yet still no food at 8:15. Would not go back.

It was worst experience in UK. We ordered 3 draft beers and 2 dishes, but they didn't serve the beers until we finish first dish. We got the beers after the second dish came out (after our second complaint). Even the second dish was cold. I've been in Europe for the past year and this was my first time experiencing this kind of service...Unfortunately, service charge (12.5%) was included on the bill. I don't think you deserve it. Only the first dish was nice.

The food is excellent with a perfect location

Staff are friendly, food was delicious. In particular the seafood pancake.

Do not underestimate the chicken wings all you can eat, you will fail if you do, but seriously the chicken wings are among the best I have eaten and I will be going back again for the rest of the menu, excellent staff and service and the place is nice, small with a warm and comforting interior.

Great little Korean place, not super fancy but it's perfect for chicken and soju. It can get really busy as it's a small place but I've never had to wait long for seating. Sometimes service can be a bit behind - some tables don't get cleared very quickly but I never wait long for food. The price for a bottle of soju is around £12 iirc. Which is expensive but that's central London. I've seen more expensive! The decor is fairly plain, and when tables don't get cleared quickly, it can feel a little grubby at times. However, overall this place is great. The Korean fried chicken is heaven!

Entered the restaurant at around 1230 and waited more than 15 mins to take the order. The place was very understaff that many other customers have got their food without sharing plates or utensils. Although the staff was nice, the service does not worth 12.5%of the food. We ordered garlic wings but it’s a bit bland. Jampong was far from authentic.

It's so nice!!!! This is a delicious jjamppong with the scent of green pepper! First of all, the seafood is fresh, and the shrimp and mussels are huge!!! The noodles were cooked so well that they were chewy until the very end! I'll come here whenever I'm craving Jjambbong while living in the UK!

Came here today for the first time and was blown away by the wings and super friendly service from the lovely guy and girl serving. The Korean Buffalo were a highlight and can highly recommend the seaweed salad to cut through the sweet and sticky wings. To top things off I ended up forgetting my bag in the restaurent, to return two hours later to find it in safe hands. Thank you!!

Queued 50 minutes on a monday night. Staff were nice and friendly but service was slow. Everybody's ordering silly amounts of chicken in the all you can eat deal. The food was okay, nothing special.

Absolutely awfully slow service- we had to help ourselves to plates and serviettes. They were so quick to give us the bill though as it was close to closing time. Food was standard, ttokboki was a bit too sweet and the chicken was forgettable. On the menu there was an offer of a free drink with a good Google review so this would explain the undeserved rating.

Tteokbokki sauce was very flavourful. Kimchi jigae was okay, it's great for this weather. However it could have been more spicier and the pork came in big clumps stuck together so was quite hard to eat and separate. Service was good, the young lady working was very lovely. Music was little too loud though so was hard to hear at times. Overall, good sized portions and side dishes were a nice touch to the mains. I'd come back for the tteokbokki lol

I’ve don’t usually review places I go to but this one was so bad that I have to. I thought for a small restaurant the service would be on point but I was wrong. Firstly, the waiter takes our order and then I don’t know what happened but minutes later they send someone else to take the order again. Minutes later the food arrives. Which was weird since we order large amounts of food. Turns out it was microwaved food from god knows what day. The taste wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t fresh either. My girlfriend didn’t even touch her food and we let the waiter know that it was cold. You would think that they wouldn’t charge us for the food since we didn’t eat it, and it was MICROWAVED, but no! they had the audacity to charge us for that too.

Cheemc in Soho is an absolute gem if you’re a fan of Korean chicken. We ordered six plates of wings in a variety of delicious flavors, each one better than the last. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—exactly what you’d hope for from a place like this. If you love Korean chicken, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back for more wings and beer!

we came for the £15 unlimited chicken offer but we ended up just leaving the restaurant. First of all, you are only allowed to order once. so you have to choose your quantity and flavours once and although unlimited, youre not allowed to order more (you have to pay £10 pp if you dont finish your food). we already told our server we wanted to order the unlimited offer and while we were choosing our flavours and quantity, he came back and said “sorry, owner changed offer.” and swapped out the offer page to another that said £19.99 right in front of us and left. so unprofessional. we left.

First of all, if you have a reservation, do not expect to get in immediately; you might get some priority in skipping the queue but chances are you will still need to wait at least 5-10 minutes outside. This is a popular place and some were waiting over 30 mins for a table. Food was good and authentic for the most part. My cousin has been to South Korea and thought some of the items lived up to her memories of the food there. The egg fried rice was surprisingly good, seasoned perfectly and with more flavour than usually found in the dish. Oddly enough, the only disappointing element was the fried chicken...odd because this is supposedly a specialty. A lot of people rave about the "yellow snowing" (honey butter) chicken but this was just decent fried chicken dusted with a load of synthetic tasting, very sweet honey powder... hadn't been tossed in sauce or anything. I've had much better Korean fried chicken even in the UK. Service was friendly but rough around the edges, especially taking the queuing system into account. The 12.5% service charge felt a bit underserved but the food was mostly good. I might return one day but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it and not sure why it's quite so popular.

Really disappointed from a highly rated place on Google. We ordered 3 different flavours of the KFC. Garlic one had WAY too much garlic and the black aglio was bland. Service was poor and slow (had to remind them of nearly everything we ordered including drinks) and one dish never arrived. Was also expensive... I think the good reviews come from a deal the restaurant is offering where you get a free drink if you leave them a review...

Restaurant not open at the advertised time, it was a cold and wet afternoon. We came back and staff came to the door when prompted whereupon we were told that the manager was sick. Pro tip: try putting a sign up if you can't keep to your own schedule! Poor service

Great place for Korean food The kimchi pancake was definitely the tastiest thing. We also got some sweet chilli chicken and beef bulgogi. We thought it wouldn’t be enough food for two people and we barely finished! I’d say the only draw back was service, a bit slow at times but the people were polite and kind. The floor we were on was quite cold as well.

I’ve been here multiple times and had good meals. But this meal was disappointing. We ordered our food, only half came out at first, no drinks. Then we found a hair in our kimchi fried rice. Yes the staff exchanged it but it did take away our appetite. After that the rest of the food arrived and still no drinks. We asked twice for drinks again before they came - they were a soda and tea which is hardly complicated to prepare. There were only 2 servers for a full bust restaurant who barely made eye contact and were clearly swamped. The food is usually good but the hair and the service for sure put me off. I’m not sure if I’ll return after this.

Stay away if you have allergies or intolerances! I'm celiac and gluten would make me very ill. I asked the waitress if the noodles I wanted to order were made of rice? They went to check with the chef and came back and confirmed they were. Great! When the food arrived they looked like wheat noodles, so I asked them to confirm? They first said sorry they were wheat, then reassured me that actually they were a special kind of rice noodle, before finally settling on wheat. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to not know what's in their food, and even worse to give confident assurances about allergies that are wrong. It could genuinely kill someone. My food could have made me incredibly sick so in the end I ate nothing while my friends ate around me. This restaurant is not safe for those with allergies!

Ordered the pork bibimbap, and KFC it was all excellent. Kinda pricey for what it is but the chicken was crazy crispy and flavourful definitely felt great to pig out on it all. Paired amazing with the beer on tap they have too. The pork in the bibimbap was well seasoned and tasted great as well. The seating wasn't the best as we were stuck sat side by side facing a wall together. Great experience if you're willing to spend a bit of money in a great location as well for going out after.

perfect korean spot for date night.

When I visited in late November 2024 they clearly were halfway through renovations - half painted walls, stuff all over the place and no heating turned on! As such, not a great atmosphere but also service was super slow and food not amazing. All in all I definitely won't be visiting again - much better food in many other places nearby.
