Kin in City of London, Westminster

Had a wonderful meal at the restaurant this afternoon. A completely plant based menu was being tried and was well in line with what to expect from kin.

Really lovely spot, in a picturesque area. Food was really good, very plentiful portions, fresh and tasty, love that everything can be made vegan. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. All in all, a wonderful breakfast experience, thank you.

Had a delicious healthy brunch. Everything freshly prepared and the staff is very friendly. The place is small, so reservations are recommended. But go there!

Inconsiderate owners renovating what was The Italian Bar and Kitchen. Construction site for the past 3 weeks with workmen using power tools late into the evening 9/10pm and late into the weekend. Have drilled through into a neighbouring flat and have been repeatedly asked not to use power tools outside of working hours. Every time I go down I get a sheepish sorry before saying anything.

Came here yesterday for breakfast and the food was amazing (can really recommend the waffles)! I loved especially that they have gluten free options that are also plantbased. Around midday they started putting out different kinds of salads of which I took some for takeaway and they were also great. Would def come again the next time I’m in London :)

Such a fan of KIN 🥰 it’s my go-to after a Saturday workout, with healthy and delicious food, and a warm and inviting team. The coffee is also amazing.

Lovely cosy cafe. Very polite service and the food arrives quickly, it was delicious! The mocha was great, using good quality chocolate and everything had vegan substitutes.

One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants in town. Hygge, cute and warm place. The staff is amazing. The food is super fresh and super tasty.

A small place with a big heart. The welcome was very warm. It’s a great spot if you're looking for a place to have breakfast, but beware, it’s very popular. I highly recommend the Yellow Sunshine smoothie. The name fits the place perfectly because the service shines like the sun. I visited in March 2024.

Delicious food. I have lots of allergies and the staff were very attentive and ensured I felt safe to eat there. The waffles are gluten and dairy free and are cooked on their own waffle maker so there’s minimal chance of cross contamination. My partner got the açai bowl which was sweet and delicious. The place is small and gets very busy which some may not like but I personally didn’t mind.

My go to spot for vegan, healthy, delicious brunch in london!! Couldn’t recommend more!

We loved lunch at Kin Café. There wasn't much waiting time, we arrived on Saturday at 1 p.m. The staff is very welcoming and smiling. They advised us on what they recommend and we loved it. The atmosphere is very cozy. For my part, I had the Kin Breakfast, it was really excellent. Everything went very well together, and it was of excellent quality. Accompanied by my dish, I had a matcha, which was also excellent. For dessert, I had the waffles. It was really very delicious. This is what I liked best, knowing that I loved the rest! My friend had a shakshuka. It was very well seasoned and spicy. I tasted his dish and it was very good. He had a coffee, which he found perfectly balanced, neither too strong nor too mild, just the way he likes it. We had a great time and we will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Nous avons adoré déjeuner au Kin Café. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de temps d’attente, nous sommes arrivés samedi à 13h. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant. Ils nous ont conseillés sur ce qu’ils recommandent et nous avons adoré. L’ambiance est très cosy. Pour ma part, j’ai pris le Kin Breakfast, c’était vraiment excellent. Tout allait très bien ensemble, et c’était d’excellente qualité. Accompagné de mon plat, j’ai pris un matcha, qui était excellent aussi. Pour le dessert, j’ai pris les gaufres. C’était vraiment très gourmand. C’est ce que j’ai préféré, en sachant que j’ai adoré le reste ! Mon copain, lui, a pris une shakshuka. C’était très bien assaisonné et épicé. J’ai goûté dans son plat et c’était très bon. Il a pris un café, qu’il a trouvé parfaitement équilibré, ni trop fort ni trop doux, juste comme il aime. Nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous reviendrons sans hésiter pour découvrir d’autres plats !

Delicious food, I am not vegan and this is one of the place that make me more curious about vegan food. The breakfast was delicious and filling, I didn’t feel I missed anything by not having a single piece of meat!

This is probably the best spot for bunch/breakfast. I am so glad if I found it. The food is 10/10 and the service is fast. We ordered the kin breakfast and the hash dish which were very delicious. You could tell the food is freshly made. Their coffee is also very good. It’s a great cafe for breakfast or lunch.

Amazing place to have gluten free waffle, we can’t stop returning. We should probably try the kin hash someday which is also gluten free. Staff is extremely kind and welcoming as well.

Amazing gluten free waffles, highley recommand to fellow coeliacs. Staff and atmosphere were calm and lovely. Coffee was a bit sour though, but I'm starting to suspect that's just how it is in england. Have, and will come again.

Been here before and always enjoyed my time. Food is delicious, service is great and can’t complain about the atmosphere. Usually always have the vegan breakfast as it hits the spot every time! It’s small so get there early if you can but I’ve always managed to get a seat.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I booked online explaining that i wore hearing aids and would require a quiet corner. When I arrived they were so welcoming and aware of my needs. My friend and I decided to sit outside as the weather was good anyway. The staff were so friendly and competent in dealing with hard of hearing. Then the food arrived, wonderfully presented and of excellent quality, by far the best Vegan food I've been served with in London. Creative and filling. Thank you all, I'll be back soon x

I ordered the classic Kin breakfast (Vegan option). It was a really good portion with a variety of different things. The mushrooms were cooked beautifully and had a nice flavour. However, I was really disappointed with the potato pieces and the sesame tofu - both were VERY DRY like they had been cooked the day before and just reheated (the lady that served us said they do that sometimes!). The beans were also very bland and watery. Food was also served luke warm. If Kin just refined a few things it would have been a top notch plate of food.

Really great plant-based brunch place! I loved everything I had. The coffee and food were really good. We had the Kin Hash and Kin Breakfast, highly recommend these two. It was relatively peaceful and quiet before it got really busy around lunch time. But the food didn’t take too long to get here.

It was a lovely restaurant - amazing vegan options and best of all a vegan Bloody Mary. I personally prefer lots of fried carbs with my breakfast…it’s a fantastic healthy full breakfast but if you’re looking for fried potatoes/hangover cure it’s not necessarily ticking that box….although the vegan Bloody Mary did help! 🤣 will definitely go back and I recommend it for vegans

We had a delightful and cozy breakfast. The three of us enjoyed the Kin breakfast, omelette, quiche, and mini salad plate, all of which were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the meal even more enjoyable. Meeting Huseyin was a lovely personal touch to our morning. Definitely recommended!

Delicious spot for brunch! Loved the scrambled eggs on toast, the breakfast plate, the chickpea curry and the Kin mash. Really friendly servers and nice ambiance both inside and outside. Will definitely be back!

Just come from a super early flight and found this place online. By far the best vegan breakfast I have ever had in the 8 years I've been one. Wish I lived closer so I could come more often. Service is amazing and the guy who served us was super polite and attentive. Highly reccomend the breakfast. The 'eggs' and mushrooms are amazing.

Wow! Delicious food and fab service. Got the 1 main 3 salad box and a wrap which comes with 2 salads. Very good portion sizes. We took it away with us and walked to Regent’s Park for a picnic. Will definitely be going back.

I arrived at the café a few minutes before opening time on a Saturday and was lucky to get the last table inside (it was raining that day) so I would definitely recommend making a reservation or getting here early. The café is quite small and I could not really move at the table I sat at. And it is very busy. However the staff was nice and the food was very good. The portions are big (I ordered the vegan pancakes and I was stuffed afterwards!), the food looks amazing and tasted delicious! I loved that I could get vegan pancakes here (they have vegan waffles too) and a vegan hot chocolate!

We didn’t book a table and still got seated immediately. The Kin Breakfast was great and the whole atmosphere of the cafe is so wholesome, eventhough it was crowded it felt familiar. The service was super friendly and we didn’t even have to pay the service fee, because my sister‘s coffee was served a bit later than my drink was- nevertheless we would have gladly payed it. Whenever I‘ll be back in London, I‘m going to eat here again (and give a tip :)), this is one of the best cafes I‘ve ever been to! 🌞

Hugely overpriced for average quality food - I would not recommend this place. We went to this place given the positive reviews on Tripadvisor - but were hugely disappointed by the meals we were served and cost of them. We didn’t make a fuss to not cause trouble - but thought it helpful to others to post a review on here to moderate against other reviews for this restaurant.

Had a wonderful vegan pancake stack to start my day and a perfect oat latte to complement it. 10/10 recommended to my vegan friends in the area. Take a book and forget time there." Even though we didn't have a reservation, we quickly got a seat. The staff is very accommodating and super nice, the food is very tasty (waffles, pancakes and latte). Also highly recommended for people with gluten intolerance. Portions are large enough to fill you up. Payment is completely contactless and convenient using a QR code, so you can simply leave yourself at any time after paying. The best breakfast shop I've eaten in so far and therefore highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a good breakfast. In general the store gets a 10/10 from me, really great!

A buzzing cafe, amazing vegan options and delicious food. I strongly recommend for plant based or vegetarians!

Cute little cafe with a wide selection of vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free options. Staffs were friendly and kitchen was able to accommodate substitution of ingredients in the dish. We had a lovely time here. The portion of food is very generous, and no issue asking for additional sauce etc. The indoor seating of the cafe was quite tight, and the cafe can get busy even on a weekday. Besides, it seemed to be a extra fee to pay using the QR code, so we end up asking to pay with the card machine. Overall quite satisfy with the experience and will def wanna take my friends here again.

Loved it so much we went twice. We're both vegan and had their deal of a main with 3 salads - the salads were a taste bud experience of deliciousness and accompanied by a smoothie was more than enough to keep us going for the whole day. Would highly recommend- beautiful, bountiful food full of variety and lush flavours!!

The vegan waffles are a real treat ❤️ properly stacked and this place is in a lovely more peaceful spot away from the busy high street X

Found this place on a whim and was not disappointed. Absolutely loved the food, everything on the menu could be veganised and everything was really fresh. The service was amazing, the servers are really wonderful and made me feel taken care of. You can pay using the QR code which speeds up bill paying and helping keep the service rolling over. Lovely little veggie/vegan cafe not far from Oxford Circus. I love the fact that all meals can be made vegan too. I came with my mum and we shared the waffles and pancakes. Both were delish, but I preferred the waffles as they had a nice crunchy texture. Portions were a tad big as I’m feeling very full. Regardless, I’ll be back again to try some of their savoury meals as I had food envy for all the other dishes that were coming out!! Addendum: I came back and had the burrito (picture added), which was delicious and set me up nicely to donate blood at the donation centre just around the corner. Again, I had food envy so I will come back to sample more meals! Addendum 2: Came back and had the salad selection (can’t remember if this was available previously). All salads were vegan, and the vegan option for the main was a giant aranchini ball. There were about 6 or 7 salads to choose from and it was a tough choice. The ones I got were lush though (pesto gnocchi with runner beans, chickpea salad and aubergine with pomegranates and a creamy sauce). Addendum 3: Got the vegan potato hash and it was lush!! I’m not sure I’d call the dressing that came with it a hollandaise sauce, but it was tasty nonetheless.

Ugh this place is unbelievable, I wish I'd have found it sooner. It's vegetarian with vegan substitutes for pretty much everything-and the portion sizes are HUGE. There are sooooo many brunch places that give you next to nothing for the same price. The people working here are kind and compassionate and the food is ridiculously good-super fresh and delicious! Can't wait to return.

Tried to book a table for last week Saturday. Emailed twice on Wednesday as you can't book directly and did not receive ANY response until Saturday morning. When I replied to the message I received at 8:30 in the morning on Saturday we wanted to book for letting me know the table will be available for us I said it is too little too late as to get a table for Saturday lunch you obviously need to book if you want to go somewhere decent. They did not even reply saying sorry for late message. Absolutely appalling treatment of customers. We were so keen to come in but not any longer.

Very good meals. A good variety for vegan dishes. The dishes have the right quantity. It's good, fresh, in prices. The tables are a little small but we adapt. I recommend.
