This is a wonderful place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are delightful! It's a small place and seems to be pretty consistently busy, but they keep things moving very smoothly! Highly recommend this place! So glad we found it when visiting the neighborhood!

So happy to have found Sheila's, we went back for a second visit on our short trip. We had the Full English breakfast, coffee, chai latte, hot chocolate, and the breakfast sandwich. We sat inside once and then outside on the cute little patio (with heat lamp). The space is small so it's something to consider but the kind and friendly staff do a fantastic job making it work.

Don’t come here if you enjoy personal space, a relaxed meal, or want to sit and eat uninterrupted. Everyone sits on top of each other, and the waitresses continually run on all sides of you as they have crammed 8 tables into a closet sized space. We were asked to share a table which we politely declined and said we would wait if necessary to have a table of our own. Then as they delivered the food, we had to move tables (they asked us to move after we had water, juice, coffee and plates of food on the table and left it up to us to move around the restaurant…thanks guys!). After they moved us to a smaller table, they let the other table remain open (they were getting ready to have someone sit there, so they moved us without actually needing us to be moved). We also witnessed other people shuffled around to different tables mid meal, again, everyone was left up to themselves as the staff ran around trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible. Atmosphere sucks, it’s all about getting you in and out, regardless of how you’re treated. Service sucks, we were seated and waited for a menu, then the waitress came and asked what we wanted to eat and I asked to see a menu. She just pointed at the wall and said “here’s the menu”. If that’s the menu, maybe explaining that when I come in is relevant? The food was simply…meh. If you want bread that comes from a grocery store white bread, beans that are slopped out of a giant can onto your plate and to be hustled around as you try and eat breakfast, then this is your place! Unless you want to be rushed to eat breakfast, there are plenty of grab and go options to be had. If you want to *sit and enjoy* and eat breakfast with a creepy old guy with a bunch of young female staff while you are moved from table to table mid meal bumping elbows with everyone else eating, you will really enjoy this place.

Absolutely revolting. Would not recommend this cafe to anybody I wouldn’t even serve their food to my dog. This establishment is ant infested. Sells out of date drinks, serves raw eggs! The “toast” is untoasted bread? The hash browns have definitely been thawed and stored incorrectly the food is inedible. Quality of food is lacking to say the least, customer service is extremely poor. This cafe needs to be closed down & not open to the public. If you want to be charged extortionate prices for the worst food you could possibly buy go to Sheila’s cafe!

Honestly, this place blew me away! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of effort into every dish. I visited this place a couple of times and I reckon that there are really friendly staff but I was there at the weekend and it was horrible smell and a man ( I think he is a manager) was screaming at the front of the customers. At that moment, it was the last straw I really wanted to leave this place because I don’t think it’s normal behaviour to do that. I have never heard something like this before in others cafes. It’s quite small place and the staff works really hard and tried to do their best because there are a lot of people and maybe they need more staff. Btw it was not once that my friends and I heard that screaming. I hope you will find a way to solve the problems. And it would be great to do some renovation because the quality of the floor is terrible.

Friendly and fast service, conveniently located near Paddington so if you have a bit of time to kill while travelling - grab yourself a proper breakfast and go for a walk in the park afterwards! Busy café for its size, was a bit of a squeeze with takeaway customers coming and going but the bustling vibe was always fun and welcoming.

Sheila’s Cafe is a disaster. Stale ambiance, disinterested staff, and food that’s flavorless and burnt make this place a total letdown. Save your time and money—skip it.

This morning I went to have breakfast at an extremely small place. From the beginning, the experience left a lot to be desired. They served us ingredients not specified on the menu, with quite questionable combinations. Also, the service was slow: we had to wait five minutes for change to be brought to us. The most worrying thing was the feeling of lack of honesty. Since most of the customers were English and we were the only Spanish ones, it seemed like they assumed we wouldn't notice what was happening. As a result, we were refunded €5 less than what was due. A disappointing experience in every way. I will not return nor recommend it.

A fantastic small and cosy cafe with friendly staff. The breakfast we had was okay but the coffee was excellent.

If you're looking for a traditional place that offers salmon with avocado and truffle cream cheese on a bagel for £17, you've probably come to the wrong place, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Because Sheila's became a spontaneous breakfast cafe because Les Filles opposite had just closed. There really isn't much space inside, if you go in you can cut out the air, because all the guests sit in this single room with probably 25 square meters, the coffee is prepared, the bacon and eggs are fried. The windows are fogged up inside due to the high humidity. The menu is written in chalk on a blackboard, I took an Egg & Bacon with bread and avocado. What can I say, somehow it was so simple but so good. Salt, Pepper, ketchup, everything is ready at the table. The cappucino is made with love and the orange juice is also freshly squeezed. Like everywhere in London, the restaurant has a lot of waiters, they are all young and very friendly. Afterwards, the clothes and hair smell a lot like "kitchen", but somehow it feels like a typical London experience, which is why you should definitely have done it!

Very disappointed! We went here last year and had a great time. Just visited today and got a chicken escalope roll that wasn’t an escalope (rather it was a chicken breast), and had maybe one small piece of chicken cut in half. For £7.50 I felt a bit ripped off. Couldn’t speak to the manager as he had went out by the time we paid.

Local near the Lancaster Gate stop. Very small (15 seats), but welcoming with very friendly, practically all-female staff. It specializes in breakfasts and snacks (opens at 7am and closes at 4pm). Good cappuccino, coffee and tea, while the croissants are frozen and reheated products (passable). Excellent English breakfast. Prices in the English average.
