As a person with self-claimed Doctorate degree in tasting a set order of Gamberoni, Spinach and Tiramisu in Bella Italia around UK (especially London, 40+ experience around the city, always ordered the same dish. I would dedicate my first review about Bella Italia here, Bella Italia Paddington. The food is AMAZING, Gamberoni is cooked with Chilli butter so it will be lil’ bit more spicy than other shop, and to me, it’s a heaven’s stroke. Also, a big shout out to our warm and friendly staff Brian, I will make sure crawl a trip here when I pass by Paddington everytime from today.

Our amazing server Brian really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. My husband wanted his pasta and sauce separate from each other and Brian accommodated this. Such a lovely guy. The food is incredible and so so delicious. I 100% highly recommend this restaurant. It’d be a shame if you were to miss it.

Bella Italia was such an unexpected surprise! After spending the afternoon walking Hyde Park, we popped in here after smelling the amazing smells as we passed by! The restaurant itself, while small, was beautifully decorated. The staff was amazing, incredibly kind, and efficient! The food was simply amazing! I usually take several photos, however the food was so incredible, I only had a chance to snap 1 pic before we dove into some amazing pasta! I had the Goat’s Cheese while my mom had the Pomodoro Mozzarella! Both were absolutely incredible!

We had the pleasure of being served by Brian, he made us feel welcomed and valued. Throughout the meal he was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our drinks were always filled and that we had everything we needed. His friendly demeanour and genuine enthusiasm for the food made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was great I would highly recommend the 3 course set menu.

The store is beautifully designed and the service was very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the food and the prices were okay. The dessert is also great.

This place was right off from our hotel. It's peaceful, and the drinks are fantastic. Try the red fruit gin spritz! The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Our server shehzad was wonderful, attentive and kind. Our camera didnt eat first, but pomodoro motz was refreshingly delicious 😋

Went there for a dormmates night out. Very vibey and fun. Had Margarita with BBQ Hot Sauce and it was delicious. The server was nice and helped us get a discount through Unibuddy's so saved us 22 pounds. Overall great experience.

My girls and I went to the restaurant at Paddington! Shehzad gave us good food recommendations and served us greatly. The atmosphere is very nice, comfy and a good place to get pasta or pizza. I recommend the prawn Pizza. Delicious!

Coming in from a day of touring, we just wanted something to eat. We got much more. The food was fantastic and the service was fast, efficient and friendly. We don't live here, but if we were ever back in the area, we'd eat here again

Tourists, naive or nice, BE CAREFUL!! This restaurant automatically inflates the bill compared to the prices displayed on the menu with so-called "charges" that are not actually mandatory. This is the classic tip pre-displayed on the bill by the waiter so as to make people believe that it is the final price (+12.5%). The tip is not left in the hands of the customer who, if he is not careful, cannot adjust or refuse it, especially if the service is bad, which is the case here. This is nothing more or less than an abuse of weakness and fraud that is CRIMINALLY punishable in most European countries.

Fast service. Breezy restaurant. The seabass was perfectly cooked. Veggies were crisp and just perfect. A good experience in the Paddington area.

Brian's been brilliant... Again! Really convenient restaurant less than 5 mins easy walk from the main concourse at Paddington. Sensible range of the usual suspects on the menu, reasonable prices, excellent turnaround (highly useful if you have a train to catch) and always been made to feel very welcome by the staff. Brian and the team run a tight ship. Thanks and see you again when next passing through Paddington :)

Fantastic Italian restaurant located close by Paddington station. We were so impressed by the food and service that we cane back another day for dinner after initially having lunch. Our waiter Brian on both occasions was extremely professional and provided an excellent service without fault.i would definitely recommend this restaurant for any in the area or willing to make a short walk from Paddington station.

This restaurant is conveniently located in London Street a short walk from Paddington station. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the ambiance is relaxed casual. Our orders consisted of meatballs, pasta Gamberoni and a couple of Margherita pizzas, the test of the Pizzaiola, because it’s all about the base. The meatballs and pasta gamberoni were very nice and after nearly 40 hours without sleep and travelling from Australia, I was really looking forward to this pizza. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The top - the cheese had good colouring and the crust had a nice rise with some leoparding on the top. What stood out to me was the absence of basil. One leaf in the centre of a large pizza does not a Margherita make, in my opinion and past experience. This is a choice of the restaurant, which is fine but I should have seen it coming when our server asked if I wanted anything else on it like “ham”. Another choice the restaurant made is not to cut the pizza into slices, which again is fine if you’re prepared for it. The base - this was another disappointment as it had no colour at all and was obviously undercooked as if the stone was not hot enough or the base was not checked during or after cooking. Having cooked countless pizzas myself and eaten pizza all over the world, this was a base that was not cooked with the appropriate care and attention. With an inedible base, I scraped the cheese off and ate it leaving the base. When asked how it was, I let them know. Basil is integral to a Margherita pizza. Cutting it into slices is a convenience for the consumer and cooking the base through properly is a base requirement for cooking pizza. The manager came to the table and was very apologetic but stood by the lack of basil and it cutting the pizza. She offered to deduct the two pizzas from the bill but we had already paid, which I had insisted. She offered for us to have something on the house but we were done and it wasn’t about trying to get out of paying or getting something for free. I just desperately wanted to enjoy a good pizza and was too exhausted for compromise. Would eat here again but choose something else other than pizza.
