From the incredible service, to the delicious food and moreish cocktails, I cannot fault my visit to Ceru. Our server was very knowledgeable about allergens, and as someone who can't eat dairy or gluten I was very well catered for.

The food was good but really simple. Nothing special, super basic. The things that I ordered was kinda like food from kids menu. The interior is beautiful, but it was too loud. The plates were dirty. I looked around and everyone had dirty plates on their tables, not only us

Peaceful, beautiful, and delicious experience. Celiac safe and great service! Small, shareable plates — they recommend 3 plates per person. We tried all 4 meat plates and loved the beef fillet the best. Would eat there again & would absolutely recommend.

Incredibly delicious food and very nice service! We have been there several times and have always enjoyed it very much. No matter whether vegan/vegetarian, fish or meat - everyone enjoyed it! My favorite dish was the baby eggplant and melon salad

Please come here if you are looking for a restaurant near Kensington! You will not be disappointed. I don’t eat Mediterranean food often, and I was so happy I came here. The food is so tasty and fresh. Ambiance is trendy, clean, and chic. I recommend the rice, watermelon salad, and chicken skewers. Portions are small but good to share with 2-3 people.

Ceru earns the highest accolades because the staff -- from maitre d' to chef(s) and wait staff -- are all committed to providing excellent food, attentive service, and a warm environment. The food is fresh, the spicing is exquisite, and the service is superb.

There aren't enough stars for Ceru. Dorota was our attendant. She was very pleasant and knowledagle of the menu and its influences. The style of meal is tapas. Small plates for sharing. Menu may look simple, but the flavors are complex and perfectly balanced. For 2 persons we ordered: Watermelon and toasted feta salad Sautéed portobello and shiitake mushroom Zucchini and feta fritters Sticky roasted baby aubergines with date syrup Filet of sea bream Lamb shoulder with pomegranate sauce Arabic rice Cardamom ice cream with caramelized honey It was more than enough for us and then some. Everything was fabulous, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb and deconstructed baklava ice cream. There's just something about the subtlety of cardamom ice cream.Be careful with the caramelized brittle it is a filling puller, but oh soooo divine. P.s. try the Cider and Fig Liqueur

What a wonderful dining experience. We arrived without a reservation, however the staff could not have been more accommodating from entry to exit. Hard to pick a favourite dish (all the dishes were amazing) but I would have to say the lamb was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this place

Fantastic menu, taste and quality of the food. Had the 3 dips, the nicest pitta bread ever, fennel salad and watermelon and feta a salads - followed by beautiful fillet of sea bream, baby aubergines and grilled halloumi with red pepper sauce AND a bottle of Rose for just over £100 inc service - incredible value.

Great restaurant. It’s Mediterranean style food with plates designed to be shared. We shared the trio dips and pitta which were all excellent and then as a vegetarian I had the halloumi, aubergine and mushrooms all of which tasted fantastic and my husband also had the lamb and squid and said they were both really tasty too. Great service from the staff and definitely somewhere that I would recommend visiting if you are in this part of London.

Everything was perfect! Definitely recommend! Walked in and was greeted by an absolutely gem of a waitress. Explained everything as it was our first time there and recommended how many dishes we needed. The atmosphere was so calming and its just such a nice setting! Loved the look of the bar and the dividers. The moss on the wall.. just everything looked so great!

The food and service were very good. And the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. I was surprised that even the toilets were so well thought out, it was as if I was on trip. I am very happy to have such a great shop in Bayswater. I would definitely go back again.

A very unfortunate experience. Wanted a lamb shoulder meal, however they insisted on “selling” me minimum 2 dishes per person. I don’t want any carbs with my meat so decided not to spend money on something I don’t want to eat. Left immediately (now I know why the place is half-empty at this peak time on a Saturday evening in such a busy touristy street). PS: Oddly, a staff member decided to chase me outside the restaurant and insisted I had to take 2 dishes from the menu because the lamb is “very small”. Tried to argue with me on the street just in front of the restaurant. Not a good way to treat potential customers.

Excellent food. But even more impressive was the service. Bhawana and Caroline were a great double act! Charming excellent and thorough. It’s rare to get great food and brilliant service - well done!

The restaurant was full, which was already a good sign. Online reservation was necessary. The dishes were tasty, the quantities sufficient, the waitress super friendly! We absolutely loved our experience!

I have been to the Bute Street CERU many times before and decided to give the Queensway location a try. I’ve got to say the food and service were as impeccable as always. Staff were super attentive with us, considering my wife is heavily pregnant, so that was appreciated. If you like cuisine with a mediterranean/middle eastern influence and within beautiful space, then look no further.

Authentic and delicious eastern Mediterranean fusion restaurant. Everything was prepared to perfection. We had the slow cooked lamb shoulder with 12 Shawarma spices, pomegranate sauce, fresh mint and pistachio. It was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and price was great

1st night in London was getting hungry didn't know what to eat until I walked past this place wow what a nice feed. The host was acceptinal as well. I'm a big food critic and I wasn't disappointed.

Great food, very tasty. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner. I'm anyway a fan of small sharing plates :-) We also been at Ceru South Kensington, but Queensway has a nicer Layout. On the other hand service ar South Ken was a tiny bit better. However, food is amazing and delicious at both places. Cocktails been great too! We will come back for sure, when in London.

A great restaurant with exceptional hospitality, Patricia and the team make you feel so welcome as soon as you enter. The food was incredible and you must try their homemade lemonade, too! I fully recommend a visit, just a few steps away from Queensway Tube Station. And you must check out the bathroom! The best interior I've seen in years, hands down.

The food was absolutely amazing. We've eaten this cuisine several times before but this was just next level. The only drawback is that the portions are more like tapas, so they are very small and you should order at least 3 per person. But the price is definitely justified for the taste and quality. Staff also very friendly and attentive.

Some of the dishes we ate were good, others lacked flavor and the frying was too oily. The service was good but I would recommend not constantly asking the customer about the food and also giving them enough time to finish it.

I wanna thank Patricia Hilton for arranging such a dinner and Carina for her hospitality, warm welcome and and and more of her lovely presence throughout the dinner on New Year’s Eve. Beautifully served yummy food deliciously cooked and presented to make mouth water. A must go to place on my high recommendations !

Not bad - not great.. can't complain about the food. It was average. I could do similar myself at home. I did have a problem with the service charge however. I ordered take-away and they charged 12.5%.. it says on the receipt it is optional but the staff just wave a card machine in your face with the full amount including the optional service charge. I would have been very uncomfortable to say sorry no, I would like to leave a little less than 12.5%, which, in my opinion is excessive for takeaway. I feel they put people in a situation like that, knowing that most people won't want a confrontation when hungry. I would have left a couple of pounds tip for sure, but they charged me almost £7 which is too much on a meal which cost £50.

What can I say, great restaurant. Food excellent, service great and staff so helpful and friendly. This was our first visit and our server explained the menu to us, nothing was too much trouble for her. Sometimes London restaurant can be a bit hit and miss but Ceru, was exceptional, keep up the great work.

An unexpected discovery in London... Our visit to Ceru Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant near the hotel was a serendipitous stroke of luck. Looking for a quick meal, we literally stumbled upon this gem of culinary diversity. The varied menu promised a journey through the flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the restaurant did not disappoint. From traditional dishes to modern interpretations, Ceru offered a selection that tantalized both the palate and the senses. The location itself was just as impressive as the food. Welcoming atmosphere, appealing ambience and friendly staff contributed to making our visit an unforgettable experience. As for the food, it was not only cool but also delicious. Every bite was a revelation of flavor and creativity. The desserts were particularly recommended. Overall, our visit to Ceru Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant was a real treat.

They missed the 5th star cause of the food . I read the other reviews about getting rushed but I think they misunderstanding the quick and efficient service . The ladies are quick and that’s what may feel like it’s rushed. They working in a tight environment therefore you can feel there movement which is totally fine with me I appreciate it. The service was excellent but I had too high of an expectation for the food . The Muhammra was the highlight , humous was average , shrimps main was not good and there was one starter I ordered by mistake which I wish I didn’t , the apple slices , it was abit of a con if I’m honest . . Halloumi portion for £8.5 sorry not ok , there was nothing special about it . And now to the nest 🪹 desert thing that we ordered , really nothing to rave about . I really wanted to love this place and I might come back in a year but not somewhere i crave .. all the best to them though

My boyfriend and I went to this place for his birthday. The day before I had booked and written to the place to ask if they could put the candle on the dessert he would have, and so they did, in addition to "Happy birthday" sung by two waiters. The service, therefore, was excellent, especially the girl who served us, always super smiling and helpful. We ate very well: a trio of creams with pita, shoulder of lamb, polenta and feta fries, halloumi, and, last but not least, a delicious mousse. The place is designed down to the smallest details: from the counter for having a cocktail, to the tables that guarantee privacy and intimacy, to the bathroom, which seems to be an Arab fortress in its own right. For that and for how much we ate, the prices are more than fair and honest! If we were to find ourselves in London we would definitely return to Ceru. Super recommended🫶🏻.
