Delicious menu, excellent service from Lorenzo. We ordered starters, main course the best is the beef filet, and the Lamb shoulder, rice, portobello, All delicious! Highly recommended to eat here

Almost every option was gluten free, with the few gluten containing dishes made in a separate area in the kitchen. The ingredients were SO fresh, the flavours absolutely delicious, service warm and attentive, and atmosphere wonderfully Mediterranean. Couldn't fault it, and can't recommend it more.

All in all, me and my partner felt upset about the whole experience, as we did not feel welcomed at the restaurant and were rushed through. Being Valentine’s Day, it would have been pleasant if we could’ve stayed longer at the restaurant, enjoy the ambience and indulge in a conversation, which we weren’t able to do.

Excellent service! My boyfriend James and I celebrated our anniversary this week and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive during our evening at Ceru Queensway. We’ll definitely be back again for the Baklava ice cream and more negronis - apologies in advance!!

My partner and I are frequenters of the South Kensington location and went to the Queensway location for the first time last night and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic as always and our server helped us explore new options. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and outgoing. Very lovely experience all together.

Super friendly and attentive staff that knew their menu well. Most of the menu is gluten free naturally except for the pita and you can get veggies instead of bread for the dips/mezze which was amazing! And the food was absolutely delicious and well balanced!

We chose the restaurant, for lunch, based on the reviews. It was so disappointing. We had the lamb shoulder. It came cold; a lot of grease ... cold! The potates were raw and we had to send them back. The beer was good.

First of all, amazing food. I didn't think I would taste such amazing food. Second the ambience is pretty, gold and yellow, soothing. Third, our server, the young lady was really attentive and walked us through the menu which helped. We went for the second time, first time I was there since my friend threw a birthday party some months ago and this became her favourite. Now the okay part: the music was a bit loud and the vibe of the place is mellow and soothing, pop music may noy be the right choice. Bad part: I don't like restaurants that i my let their 'guests' to use the toilet. I get it why they do. But if someone showed UK at your better looking restaurant to use a washroom, it must be for a reason, otherwise they will go to a pub, like everyone else does. But when on my way back home after an hour later, I had to use the toilet, I was promptly told that I can't use it because only for the guests. Thanks, I know that. And that's why the request. Thanks to the lady who served us, who recognised me, and promptly let me use the washroom. But that was in bad taste.

The waiter was an absolute pleasure, friendly and would joke with us often considering it was my first date with the woman he helped ease the moment. His suggestions were on point and I will certainly be recommending to many friends.

I had a delightful experience at CERU. It’s a mezze style restaurant so no big dishes but rather small plates and tapas. Food is fresh and delicious and quantities are perfect!

I have been to this place twice now - it is just the perfect place for a little celebration, be it a birthday or a graduation. The staff are so lovely and attentive, the food is excellent and the cocktails are strong. 10 out of 10 for me!

Everything we ordered was very good. We arrived a while before the kitchen closed but they treated us very well.

Beautiful restaurant, warm and inviting. Staff we attentive and all equally kind and thoughtful. Food was spectacular, trio dips were delish, mains were so fresh. The mix of fresh ingredients is delightful. Highly recommend giving this restaurant a go.

Never knew about this place but popped in for some lunch. Food was fantastic, every dish left me wanting more delicious flavours to devour. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive. I'll definitely pop in again next time I'm passing.

Good Middle Eastern restaurant, original and well-prepared dishes, notable lamb, octopus and veggie starters. Interesting choice of wines also by the glass from Lebanon, Türkiye, Greece, very well described. If you have doubts, they let you taste them first. Punctual and smiling service. Medium-high prices in London style, especially if you order wine.

We had a delicious lunch here. The homemade lemonade is a taste sensation. We had vegetarian plates to share. They were all flavoursome and freshly cooked. We highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Notice to people who like to take their time eating: Our recent visit to this restaurant was disappointing. Despite quality cuisine and a pleasant setting, the service left something to be desired. The waiter was intrusive, removing barely finished plates and presenting the bill in a rushed manner. In addition, additional costs, supposedly optional, were automatically included in the bill (perhaps this is typical of London...?) Finally, the price of almost €20 for a portion of octopus tentacle seems excessive. We do not recommend

Almost everything gluten free, suitable for coeliacs. They serve small plates for £8 to £20 which are good, but not amazing. Drinks at average prices. Service is cold, on the edge of rude, that made our experience less enjoyable. I personally wouldn't go back.

Superbly cooked food, flavoursome, creative without being over the top .. still has a home-cooked vibe to the dishes on offer. Very comforting food . Service was uneven , the 4 of us got our mains at very different times, A quiet Sunday, you'd think the kitchen wouldn't be under pressure, right?

I had pita bread, humous, lamb shoulder, spiced roast potatoes and for dessert the bird’s nest, everything was m delicious. The portions were small (tapas style) but super tasty. Service was excellent and very cosy/pleasant atmosphere. Loved everything!

Really enjoyed our meal. The lamb was the absolute star. Super tender and flavorful. All the other plates we had were also delicious. I especially liked the cauliflower. Also, great selection of middle east and Mediterranean wine. The Georgian white wine was crisp and refreshing and loved seeing an Armenian wine on the list. Overall, the meal was very satisfying without being too heavy. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The best food I've had in London so far, unfortunately, is not from any British restaurant I've been to, but rather Ceru. I ordered the Sautéed Portobello & Shiitake Mushroom, as well as the Zucchini & Feta Fritters, and was so impressed not only by the taste but the presentation as well. I highly recommend this place to people who generally love meatless food, or to vegetarians and vegans looking to try Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Everything about Ceru is superb - the food, the ambience, the service. ❤️

Oh wow.... Do check this place out. What a unique concept. A taste of an area of the world with cuisines many thousands of years old. A delicious sense explosion in a very carefully designed restaurant. We loved the environment, a wonderful setting close to Hyde park with incredible interior design. That aside fantastic food... Every tapas style option was incredible. Oh and check out the bathroom. I've seen nothing like it before! It reminded me of the traditional homes in the middle east (I'm from Iran myself). Wonderful... Run by a couple that you will meet as they seat and serve you. Top notch. Excellent choice of wines from the region too.

This place adds a 12.5% service fee to the bill. Although the bill states that it’s optional, the total amount already includes the service charge. We paid without noticing and then asked for clarification. The server explained that "it’s a UK thing." If that’s true, I understand there’s no room to complain. However, the way he explained the service charge was not polite—I felt pretty offended. He loudly asked if I wanted the service charge refunded. I wasn’t thinking about a refund, just wanted an explanation. Alternatively, I was considering paying less than the 12.5%. Is this really a common practice in the UK? As an Asian woman living in the U.S., I found his attitude unfriendly and somewhat condescending. It might have been due to the British accent, but it still felt uncomfortable.

We had a lovely evening at Ceru. The food was really nice and tasty. I ordered the octopus that was very soft and tender and the polenta chips that were absolutely delicious! Really enjoyed the fennel salad too. They make daily lemonade - today’s one was watermelon lemonade! Fantastic! Service is polite and friendly. Prices are fair.

I enjoyed one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The food was amazing and staff was great. I am from Canada, only here for a short visit at an academic conference and still not used to the 'no tipping culture' here (I ended up leaving Canadian cash on the table). The food was inexpensive, but bursting with amazing flavour (their menu says over 100 ingredients and 20 spices). If I return to London, I will make a return to this gem of a restaurant.

Very interesting and, above all, delicious food, lots of vegetarian options. Most of the dishes are slightly spicy and strongly seasoned, which is not marked, so it is worth keeping in mind. The only drawback is that it is impossible to determine the order in which the dishes are served, there is no division into starters and mains; you said that at their place, whatever is ready is always put on the table, so some people eat and others wait (but the idea of ​​this place is also to order several items to share, so maybe that's why there are such rules). Overall, I highly recommend it!
