We were gonna order two crème brûlées but our waiter convinced us to order cheesecake and I cannot thank him enough! It’s likely the best cheesecake I’ve had in London. The crème brûlée was also very good. We also loved the burrata. Somehow the burrata at LPM tastes better than elsewhere. I like the ratatouille and fish as well.

We've been here before when visiting London and so were delighted to find an empty table on the pavement as we passed it about 7pm hours before lockdown 2 in early November 2020. Not just a table but one with a patio heater above! We have had excellent food here in the past and this time was no exception but we were delighted to extend our repetoire in trying the lamb kebabs which were delicious. As were the moutabal (smoked aubergine dip) with home made flatbread and half a chicken with two sauces (we chose garlic and cucumber and mint). The chicken is moist and so very tasty. Everything was perfect. They told us how we could order via Deliveroo but sadly, living in Cambridge, we can't. We shall just dream of our next chance to visit when in London.

Highly recommended! A little gem we stumbled across and had such an amazing experience from the moment we stepped in to the restaraunt! We had a few plates and they were all just so delicious!! The fish is of high quality, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. We also had the pleasure to meet the head chef Rodrigo who was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The prices are fair for the quality you get. We will definitely be back! ❤️

My husband chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. I was hesitant, as it is very pricey, and I wasn't looking for fine dining on this trip. But after a superlative evening, I felt it was worth every single penny and was SO glad that hubby won out. The service at La Petite Maison is impeccable without being stuffy. We thoroughly enjoyed our friendly servers, all who were there at the right time, every time. The restaurant's ambiance is lovely with a touch of quirkiness via the Truffle-Man menu and the fresh tomato "garnish" at each table (meant to be eaten!). The seating is very comfortable. And the food! The food!! We started with a pre-dinner cocktail and I asked our server for a recommendation on a martini. She suggested a Tomatini. The utterly divine taste of this beverage is, without exaggeration, indescribable. Pure, fresh tomato essence with a bare touch of sweetness. DO NOT miss trying this exquisite beverage if you dine here. You will understand and excuse my raptures and be very grateful to me as well! We started our meal sharing an interesting, avant-garde presentation of Pissaladiere. Still delicious! Hubby chose the Grilled Rib-Eye which he said was cooked to perfection and delicious. I chose the Sea Bream; every bite absolutely delectable. To accompany both dishes, we shared a serving of the Gratin Dauphinois which was lush and creamy. We finished our meal by sharing the Mousse au Chocolat. More raptures! La Petite Maison was literally an unforgettable dining experience that we are still talking about and where we can wholeheartedly recommend dining without the least reservation! And speaking of reservation. Make one or you won't get in!

As a 3 star restaurant in a hotel as distinguished as the Connaught, you can of course expect exceptional food, wine and service. With that comes an exceptional price tag, and this is true of all the 3-star restaurants in the UK. And with so much competition just in London alone, it is the finer detail and service which can set a restaurant apart from all the others. The food was out of this world, and I say this as someone who has been very fortunate to eat at the majority of the 3 star Michelins in the UK - Helene Darroze is at the top of this list. The guinea fowl and the lobster were stand outs for me, but really every course was superb. If you’re a wine enthusiast or appreciate wine pairings, we opted for the ultimate wine experience and have no regrets. The thing about wine pairings is everyone is doing them nowadays and they can be substandard and uninspiring, and given that they’re usually hundreds of pounds it can be a great disappointment when not done right. However, the experience at Helene Darroze was second to none and complimented each course perfectly. The 2015 Chateaux d’Yquem was a stand out for me. There are two other cheaper wine pairing options available. And finally, the service. The team here are the gold standard of hospitality. Kind and thoughtful, friendly and welcoming. We were treated to a tour of the kitchen, the chefs just as smiley and friendly despite being incredibly busy and focused. I made some remarks about the tweezers the chefs use to apply finishing touches, and the next day I had an envelope in my room with a hand written note and some chefs tweezers as a gift. It’s this human and personal touch that makes memories that last a lifetime, so thank you to Lelia the guest services manager who thought to do this, because it was so appreciated. I can’t recommend Helene Darroze enough and especially if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion.

For the first ever London afternoon tea for these 2 Americans…..we couldn’t have chosen a better one. The hotel is gorgeous, along with a beautiful dining room. Now for the tea. Savory options were spot on. Chocolate scone was a bonus I didn’t see offered anywhere else. The sweet top tier was delicious, unique and fun. The added bags of to go candies was awesome. Oh yeah. The tea. Wow. The Fruit Salad was so good……we took home a few bins. To top off the whole experience, our server Jade was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny and an overall great server. She made our day. Thank you Chesterfield. Thank you Jade.

Old hotel One of the strange things in the bathroom is a hot water tap for one and pictures of cold water for one. The wisdom behind that is I do not know. The location is beautiful Staff services are average I do not know if this hotel is affiliated with the Marriott Bonneville International group!! Thanks

Wonderful spot, GREAT CREW, delicious fries! Before the fries, I really wanted something refreshing…and I found it in the freshly squeezed orange juice and a strong shot of ginger! Later, we enjoy a latte, a clean and comfortable place to chill, and our plate of fries… not all at the same time…. Love the spot and the people who keep it running!

I recently stayed at this hotel and it’s my fourth time with them and overall, I would give it a five-star rating. The service was exceptional. However, I found the price a bit on the expensive side. I was also quite surprised by an unexpected service charge of £240 that was added to my bill at the end of my stay. When I booked the room, it was stated that all taxes were included, and there was no mention of this additional service charge. Given the already high cost of the stay, this extra fee felt unnecessary and confusing, especially since all charges were supposed to be included upfront. Despite the wonderful service, this lack of transparency around fees left me disappointed as I have not experienced this the previous times i stayed here.

Visited on our first night in London as we were looking for a more relaxed and speedy meal after a day of travelling. Kingly Court has a great choice for food and drinks but Le Bab was a great pick! Staff were friendly and attentive and helpful with recommendations. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. I would recommend the Dirty Bab, the fondue sauce was phenomenal! The cocktails were great too; their Mai Tai’s were the best I had on the trip. The price was reasonable for the portion sizes too.

The food, atmosphere, and everyone that works there stood out as the best during our 1st visit to London from NY!! There is something special about this place. Their signature dishes were a party of flavors in my mouth!! This has been our best dining experience in London!

We loved Zima! The service was warm. Authentic Russian cuisine experience with olivier salad, shuba, vinaigrette, pelmeni, blinis with caviar and of course nastoyka. The dishes were all very tasty. We also loved the fact they had Moldovan wine. We'll be back!
