Burger & Lobster in City of London, Westminster

They are called Burger & Lobster. But both Burger & Lobster taste bad. Guess we picked the wrong dish after all? Will come by again. People must be visiting it for a reason. I guess.

Great night! Carlos was a delight.

The food was amazing, Carlos, our waiter was extremely lovely and had a welcoming demeanour.

I have tried most of the branch, this branch I have been served by Jjyoti and she was super star. I will not ever forget the nice food and services provided by Burger & Lobster in London specially in Soho. Thump up for five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The restaurant is very nice, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. It is important to make a reservation, as it is usually full; We waited approximately an hour at another location before entering. As for the food, the beef burger was delicious, but I found the option that included lobster expensive and with a very small portion. Although we had a good evening, the food did not quite meet my expectations.

I had a fantastic experience at Burger & Lobster, and our server, Zilana, made it even more special. She was incredibly attentive, ensuring everything was perfect for my sister’s birthday. From thoughtful recommendations to a warm, personal touch, she went above and beyond to make the celebration memorable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and Zilana’s service truly stood out. Highly recommend!

So been here many times before and always been good and staff polite.....boy did that changed this time!!! They plastered all over social media come celebrate Valentines with us to make it special....what a joke! We got there and was greeted by a very rude front of house who made us feel like we were intruding! We were then ushered to the back of the first floor level and squeezed between two other tables who were that close we have as well have shared a table. I told the staff that the air con was blowing cold (in Feb when it was no more than 2° outside) and that there was a very cold breeze coming from the staff doors we also had the pleasure of sitting near so asked to be moved. She asked the manager and she rudely and very loudly refused and shrugged it off...we had to eat with coats on...so romantic oh and no effort was made to set a romantic mood with dance music playing and not one flower or valentines decoration in sight! Then the food! We love oysters so ordered 12 to share, they came and were so watery, tasteless and no longer attached....all signs of frozen pre prepared, rather than fresh as described! Then onto mains, the lobster Mac n Cheese, simply not hot so had to send back! Then the Lobster, grilled and £55 of overcooked and stringy meat! Claws were nice but that is the only nice thing I can say about it! Told them we weren't happy but staff just didn't care and just wanted us out to turn the table! Last time we will be going after years of enjoyment! Staff changes and cheap ingredients has lost our custom! AVOID!

Me my brother attend the restaurant around 7:10 had a lovely but of dinner, andras gave us 10/10 services, had a little uncomfortable situation where a man came in and just sat down but Andreas help and sorted out this issue very potentially.

We made a reservation, but there were quite a few seats so I don't think reservations are necessary! The taste is worth the money.. It’s really delicious☺️ The lobster was delicious and the sauce was great!

Beginning with the food I ordered the B&L combo which is exactly what is shown in the attached photo. The wagyu burger was tasteless and the leg of the lobster was plein. The sides were a green salad and some chips. Overall the food was not worthy at all for 33£. The waiters were helpful and polite and the atmosphere was pleasant, not loud music or talking and well decorated restaurant.

The food is so delicious. The lobster is fresh, the lobster wrap is really delicious, and the hamburger is also excellent. But Feb. 7 At dinner time, a person who appears to be a manager standing at the entrance is blocking out people. I'm afraid people might misunderstand me as a sensitive person, but this is the first time I've written about racism and discrimination of people in Google reviews while writing Google Maps. The waiter was friendly and nice~~

We had an amazing lunch here back in December, and not even the heavy London rain could deter us from making the trip to this Burgers & Lobsters branch. Looking back, we are glad we did! From the moment we arrived, service was excellent and prompt, with the staff offering thoughtful drink recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal. We opted for the set for two, which turned out to be a hearty feast with a fresh and flavourful combo of lobster, burger and lobster roll. Initially, we planned to skip the fries in favor of an extra order of mac & cheese, but that decision quickly backfired. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and addictive that we finished it. The mac & cheese was equally indulgent and creamy, so we had no choice but to overeat. Highly recommended!

Poor service: you see spare tables, but no option to be seated here. We asked whether it’s possible to wait at the bar, and once received positive feedback, were seated there, the other hostess said it’s a mistake and we have to leave the bar (pointing that we should order some dishes not only drinks). At last, after another 10 minutes of waiting and looking at free tables for guests, we were seated right at one of them. The joke is 13,5% of “discretionary service” fee was added to our check.

I was at Burger & Lobster yesterday and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. What made the experience even better was the excellent service from our Greek waiter, Alex. He was friendly, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Nan eats! It's too late to play with tonics and take five pills. It's very bad. I have no chance to roll my eyes wildly at the door. It's really not a good person. It's a very sweet half-book fool's seal. Asking for four oysters is as good as having a sip of water in a box! There is no charge for the service of the innocent people. I asked Tamen to send a photo to the door, but I was so angry that I was willing. The background was very big and I couldn't stop talking. It was a barrier.

We visited the place as many recommended it to us as a must! It was indeed a very good choice, both the lobster and the burger were delicious! Carlos who served us added many points to the whole experience.

Food was ok, but the service was really really poor. Our first waitress was abrupt, not welcoming at all, and then disappeared halfway through our meal. I just ate at the lobster & burger near Chinatown yesterday, and I ate again at a different branch today. Let me talk about the conclusion first, the food in this branch is better! Maybe because we don’t pursue everything being served at the same time, the meal is served very quickly (yesterday’s meal came after a 50-minute wait) The fries here are better fried, the seasoning is less salty, and the lobster is more chewy. Yesterday's was honestly a little overcooked. This time the waiter forgot to ask for our name. He said that his wife is from Tainan, Taiwan. When he saw that my phone displayed traditional Chinese, he chatted with us for a few words and kept checking whether we needed any help during the process. It felt very good. It is recommended to choose 2 lb lobster directly. The original flavor is best when steamed, very fresh, sweet and chewy! (It means that the arugula lettuce here seems to be pre-packed, placed in the refrigerator and taken out directly when customers want it, so it is a bit moist, and the crisp texture is a bit different from yesterday, but it may be that the store has stipulated this. It’s just that we ate at 12:00 yesterday and this time we ate at 16:00🤔 It means that streetsmart charity was added this time. I don’t know what it is for.

The grilled lobster complimented with the butter sauce was excellent. The calamari was crisp and lobster rolls were well balanced. To top things off, our server was very attentive and prompt. Great place for dinner!

It was my 1st ever time trying lobster, I went for the combo which came with a lobster roll which was lobster in a brioche roll. Now this was a big meal and I underestimated it because I couldnt finish it. It was yummy and the lobster was decent. I would still by far choose the burger over lobster. The burger was juicy and came with all the trimmings. Its definitely worth a visit but unless you're pro lobster, I'd definitely recommend the burgers, however do the combo, get the best of both worlds, why not!

We had dinner here today. The food was very good. It was very nice staff. The interior was nice and the restaurant was located in cozy SOHO.

The restaurant is also very spacious and you can enjoy hamburgers and lobster for dinner. They also have small hamburgers, so it's recommended for a casual, leisurely meal of burgers and lobster in a non-fast food atmosphere.

Opinion from a spaniard: Avoid the lobster burguer! Although it is great and tasty, the lobster is not noticeable at all. (but obviously charged in the bill;)) The roasted ribs were amazing tho!

I have been to five different places and have never been disappointed. I just love their lobster rolls.

Appalling. It was empty and there were loads of staff both working and just hanging round off shift. One of our table was early and was just left for nearly 15 minutes. Not even offered a water. When the rest of the table arrived it took an hour and 15 minutes to get food. This is not a complicated menu. One of us tried to talk to the manager but were completely ignored Not offered so much as an apology, let alone any kind of recompense. This is an expensive place, but the level of service was very poor. Avoid.

We went to celebrate my husband’s birthday! We decided to come to Soho brunch. Aliona organised for us everything, she was super welcoming, caring, and she advised to organise surprise with the cake, my husband didn’t expect that 😁🙌 Food was amazing as always, super service, thank you Michelle for that! We enjoyed our dining at this restaurant. It was our first time and we weren’t disappointed. Carlos who looked after us made our time very smooth. He’s friendly and has knowledge of the dishes so it was easy what to order. We orders the classic lobsters. Carlos suggested that hey could have it steam and grilled so went for it and it was heavenly. The lobster croquettes were heavenly! Over all it was an excellent dining experience.

Smash-version of the classic burger was awesome! The lobster roll was delicious, but it feels smaller than the last time I visited. Raw oysters were great! Highly recommend although I like the atmosphere in the Mayfair location a bit more.

It just was only thing that had me back on full review. Burger and lobster is not to be missed! It’s incredible the lobster roll wish they’d open in my tiny Cotswold village 😝

Lovely atmosphere here! It was a little awkward waiting at the front of the restaurant right next to a family having their dinner. Only ask is for there be a designated waiting area for customers! Didn't have time for a sit down meal, so ordered the lobster rolls to go. The kitchen staff were great in keeping all the elements of the dish separate, which made assembly at home so easy.

Noticed the first day I arrived in London on my way to the hotel. I promised myself that I would go there before leaving and so I did. Very nice place located in the center of Soho, the prices are high but if you are on holiday and want to treat yourself to a small London experience for one evening, this place will certainly suit you. The choice is not that wide but the prices are... So if you are particularly hungry and want to try a few things, I recommend the split combo: Lobster, Hamburger and Lobster Roll. When it comes to the hamburger, make sure you specify that you want it rare otherwise it will arrive a little overcooked as happened to me. Lastly, if you really don't want to spare any expense, you should also consider a cocktail, the Tommy's that I had was very good and accompanied the dish very well.

Absolutely delicious, been back a few times now

Burger and lobster is one of my favourite places in London. They do the most amazing cocktail called The dragon fruit cooler. 11/10, So sweet and tangy. My favourite fruit is a dragon fruit so when I see it in a drink, it’s always a must try! For starters we had 2 portions of Scallops to try and the Lobster croquettes. The croquettes have a lovely crispy breadcrumb outer layer and a creamy inside, full of flavour. I could eat a whole bowl of them. The scallops are so tender, buttery and sweet. In a caramelised spicy sauce. I was blown awhile with the quality! 10/10 starters. For mains I went for the Lobster Roll, tender cold creamy lobster in a toasted buttery roll. The butter sauce is perfect, warm and salty. The fries are also a great combo. I’m still dreaming about it! 10/10 overall! 100% recommend!

On the first day, we went without a reservation and were sent away rudely. The next day, we made a reservation and went, and there was plenty of space inside. The staff and the person who greeted us were very polite. I’d still recommend making a reservation in advance. We had lobster croquettes and calamari to start— the croquettes were amazing! As a main course, we had the half B&L combo. I upgraded my burger to a chicken burger, and my partner had the wagyu beef, paying an extra +£7 and +£9. The prices were already on the higher side, so I’m not sure if the extra charges for the upgrades were worth it. The food was okay, but the prices were exaggerated.

I'm a fan of the osteria roll... I found the quality here... I want to come back to try the other dishes.

What a shame! Burger lobster has gone downhill ! Used to be a great spot with fresh food but now it’s the opposite. The burger was cold and not fresh and I could tell right away that the lobster was frozen ! Chips were cold, food had no taste at all ! Very disappointing ! Whoever is running this company needs a reality check ! There is one thing that you don’t compromise on and thats the quality ! This place won’t be around for long serving up food like that !

Spectacular! Very very good indeed. We ordered the creamed spinach, the Mac and cheese and the wagyu burger. The creamed spinach was incredible! And the burger was one of the best I've ever eaten! The best! I highly recommend it!

We had a great experience here and had an excellent service from Michelle twice on the 2 occassions we came. She was fantastic and one of the few great services we had in London. Please provide her some form of reward if any.

Super expensive for normal food

Since I tried crab burger for the first time, I don't have a chance to compare it, but what I ate was delicious. I tried the Beast Burger, a type of burger with both meat and crab, it was good. We ordered Lobster Croquettes on the side and I liked their taste too. There is nothing extra in terms of atmosphere, but it is a spacious and suitable place for groups, reservation is required.

Gorgeous lunch with my teenage kids for my birthday. Wonderful service Valeria was amazing. Food was good, cocktails were excellent. Spacious airy restaurant in the heart of Soho. They loved it as did I.
