This is the best steak spot I’ve been too the front of house staff Claudia and Aida were super stars made my experience the best ever will definitely be back very soon.

Beautifully cooked meat. Very delicious. The size of the sides are quite satisfying. A nice trick of offering ice cream cones at the end of the meal. Just a little more attention for the cleanness of the glasses please.

Food was amazing but what made it the experience better was Bella’s service, she has a great spirit and she is very funny.

It's a mystery to me why 4.8 stars are given here. The service is inattentive, slow and overall an imposition. The ambience is ok, but nothing special. But the quality of the meat is very good. The side dishes are simple and good. An update: Shortly after I complained about the service in this review, the manager came to our table, apologized, and invited us in for drinks. That was really nice.

Be sure to visit when you come to London! It was a good experience to be able to eat steak at a cheaper price than other restaurants. Our servers, Claudia and Zach, responded kindly. :) I will 1000% visit again next time.

Considering the cost of Soho in London, I don't think there is any place with a steak menu that is as cost-effective as this. The ice cream for dessert was delicious, and although the space between tables was narrow, I was very satisfied with the fact that it was a cost-effective restaurant where I could eat alone as I was traveling in groups!!

Kiadi, I really don't know what to type. The steak is tender and the mushroom sauce is fragrant. The price is hefty, but it's worth it. Once in a while you'll have a chance to eat it. I agree to pay. Good service staff, smiling and cheerful, good at selling too 😄 You must reserve first. There will be a table to sit at.

Great steak meal, the chips and mash were equally as good. The included ice cream was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

I went to Flat Iron in London in early March with my husband and we had an excellent experience! From the moment we arrived, we were very well looked after. We waited for the text message to get in and the wait was super quick. Once inside, the waitress Nikki served us with great attention, friendliness and patience, making us feel very welcome. The meat was extremely tasty, the snack delicious and the beer very cold, just the way we like it! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

The restaurant is very crowded and requires advance reservation We made a reservation from the employee and arrived at our turn after waiting for about an hour and a while The place is clean, the service is excellent and the staff are friendly Prices are a little high, but all London restaurants are like this The orders were a meat burger with fries. The burger was excellent in taste and quality. We ordered a delicious steak once, but the quantity was small. We ordered mac and cheese, amazing 10/10, and mashed potatoes. The steak was so tender and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was creamy and irresistible. But what truly made it unforgettable was the incredible service. (Bella and Merica) were so kind, friendly, and fun, they joked and laughed with us, making us feel like old friends. Honestly, I’m really sad that I have to go back to Dubai tomorrow. I wish I could come back and have dinner here again and again! But if all goes well, I’ll be back in December, and the first restaurant I’ll visit will definitely be Flat Iron 👌🏻👌🏻

Was ok .. bit overhyped, the smell in there was a bit overpowering (grease smell,) chips are cooked in beef dripping so to me personally a bit off putting . Staff were helpful and friendly, portion sizes very disappointingly small for what you’re paying… Overall it felt and smelt unclean

steak is soso but highly recommend their side dish, chips and mash potato, it was so good and the ice cream they offered impressed me too even in a cold weather. Service was great and nice experience. It takes time for walk -ins to be seated but worth to wait.

I just went there without a reservation because it's famous for being a cost-effective steak restaurant, but it's crazy... definitely go there. The staff was very friendly and the steak was really delicious. sexy food. When ordering, there are already famous combinations, so the staff will recommend them. There was salt sprinkled on the steak, so I didn't think there was a need to add additional sauce, but we just added two sauces and ordered pesto, and the pesto was also delicious. Each person must eat one steak. I want to go again. I will recommend it to my friends. And at the end, an ice cream dessert was served on the second floor, and it was nice until the very end.

Managed to get a table last minute here, all they had was seating at the bar but my girlfriend and I didn't mind this. Overall this was a gem of a find, I loved the fact it was just flat iron steaks with whatever your choice of sides were. Both the steaks and the sides were fantastic and the drinks were also really great. To top it off you get a free ice cream at the end which is a great touch. I definitely recommend this place in the Soho area.

This restaurant is charges a 12.5%"Opt Service Charge" which they put it on the bill without informing you (No, having this as a fine print on the menu doesn’t make it ok).

What a place to be food was delicious and Service was incredible thanks to Bella and Narek I really believe that this two people are a big asset for the venue. My family had dinner at Flat Iron SoHo last week, and as usual, it was superb. We eat there at least once each time we’re in London. The steaks are always tender and delicious, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We were served this time by Bella, who was just lovely-attentive and helpful. We had such a nice conversation with her after dinner. A beautiful experience as always!

So, I visited the Flat Iron Soho today with my wife and asked for the Wagyu cut of the day. When I inquired, the waiter told me that the Wagyu cut was the flank. I ordered and I got a ribeye cut instead, but then something happened—a commotion. The waiters erased the blackboard where “Cut of the Day” was written, which made me think they had just received different cut of Wagyu. After finishing my steak (which was just okay), I asked the waiter again if what I had eaten was Wagyu. So the waiter, who was transgender (I’m not sure how to describe them properly, and I don’t want to be disrespectful), told me it was indeed Wagyu (confirmed the second time - lied). As I was leaving, I mentioned everything to the main waitress at the door. She simply responded, “Oh, I’m sorry. Thank you for visiting.” I asked, “That’s it?” and she said, “Yes.” So, the service was bad. Flat Iron Covent Garden was a much better experience. Also I have 100k followers on IG but I didn’t want to tattle on yall online, but come on…

Came today with my mother and brother, Narek was an exceptional waiter! Super informative about the different cuts of beef and specials, would come again for his service alone as he was incredibly friendly and attentive. Paulina was also amazing! Flat Iron used to be one of our go-to spots for a great balance of price and quality, but after this visit, we’re never coming back. What was once a reliable choice turned into a complete disappointment. We ordered a steak, burger, fries, and spinach dip. The steak was shockingly small, lacking any crispy sear or depth of flavor—completely different from what we had a year ago. The burger tasted like something from Shake Shack, but probably even smaller. Overall, the food felt like a shadow of what it used to be. On top of that, the service was far from welcoming—quite the opposite, actually, with an attitude that made the experience even worse. We planned our entire day around this reservation because it’s notoriously hard to get a dinner table here, only to be told upon arrival that we had to either share a table with strangers or take a cramped spot next to the restroom, where people constantly walked past us. If I go through the effort of making a reservation, I expect an actual table, not something they’d typically offer to walk-ins. This was a terrible experience, and Flat Iron is no longer what it once was. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Flat Iron never disappoints, but our recent visit to the Soho location was truly exceptional, thanks to Narek. As the host, he went above and beyond to make our experience the best one y et - even after more than 30 visits! His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. Flat Iron Soho is definitely a must. Me and a friend went on a Saturday night and considering it was a weekend and busy we got a table really quickly, but even if you have to wait I'd say the wait is worth it. We got sat down and straight away the staff were friendly and welcoming. They explained the entire menu to us which I thought was really nice. We ordered the flat iron steak and chips and the meal was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection and the chips were scrumptious. Considering how good the food was and the whole dining experience I'd say the price of the meal was really good (we paid around £40 when we got a meal each and shared a bottle of wine), and the fact you get a free ice cream on the way out is a really nice touch!

We had a very nice meal at the flat iron today! The steak was delicious and the grilling was perfect, for side dishes we got the potatoes and spaghetti with truffle which was also great. The service was very friendly and we really had a great time. the prices were very fair and they served ice cream at the end!

It was my first time at Flat Iron and the whole experience was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked and super tender. The mash was super tasty and the ice cream at the end was a great little surprise! The team was also incredibly helpful!

A great meal. Simple concept and excellently done. One steak, a few sides and dips, all are fantastic. Make sure to book well in advance. They give you plenty of time, so you won't feel rushed. A perfectly cooked steak and chips, mash or vegetables with bearnaise or peppercorn sauce and a beer for under £30 in the centre of London is also unbeatable value for your money.
