This restaurant has personality, a sense of event and imaginative food. It is probably the only restaurant in London that will honour a booking even though the party was a full two hours late and refunded my deposit.

Another amazing trip here. This time brought mum with us and she loved it. The ambience and service is top notch. Giuseppe went above and beyond having a good chat with our table and making our evening very personable and pleasurable. The carbonara is to die for

Absolutely incredible experience at Circolo Popolare! I had their pasta served inside the cheese wheel, and it was so creamy, rich, and full of flavour. Went at lunchtime and the atmosphere was great too and so was, the service. Highly recommend for a memorable experience in London!

Well…. Nice place warm however too dark and you will have problems reading the menu. Most of us have to use our phone torch. FOOD - not bad however mushrooms pasta was cold as well pizza. Portions could be a bit larger. Dessert (Tiramisu) was warm and watery 😒 STAFF - very friendly and take care of you 😊 THANK YOU

Fantastic ambiance! Well designed, colorful place. Enjoyed the food a lot. Bruschetta and buratta were extremely delicious.

The whole point here is the design and the vibe of the restaurant, it’s really worth it to visit just for that. Food was very good, but definitely not the first reason to come here, we were not blown away. Definitely not the best Italian we’ve had, but not disappointed either. Prices ok for central London.

I had a fantastic experience, thanks to our waiter, Andrei. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His professionalism and warm attitude truly stood out. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is absolutely great! I was a bit upset because the Coca-Cola came late, but the staff member (giuseppe) who handled it was vvvvery polite and cute. He stayed calm, reassured us, and even offered a complimentary item to make up for it. His kindness and professionalism truly made the experience even better! He adds great value to the restaurant and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

Might have picked the wrong night but feel like we were competing in an Olympic speed eating contest. Get them in, feed them fast and get them out. On the upside the food was good.

Florentina was amazing. We've been in London for a week and she has literally been the best service we've had on our entire trip in London. She should definitely get a HUGE raise!

I think the reason why it is so popular is that the place design is really nice, but the flavors are not that good. There are places where you can eat much more delicious food.

It’s athletically pleasing on the eye and great for the gram but the food doesn’t live up to the reputation and you are very much rushed in and out of the place! The staff are very knowledgeable especially with regard to allergies and intolerances. I have a nut allergy and I’m pregnant but the server was great with checking what I could have. The starters were very nice on par with other Italians I’ve been to. I did however find a hair embedded in my dish. The staff member saw me remove it from the dish and came over to swiftly remove it apologise and removed the dish from the bill. You can’t ask for any more really these things happen! The main course arrived and we hadn’t finished the starters so not really what you want when you’re trying to have a nice meal. Our table was at 3:30pm and the next sitting was at 17:00 so I’m assuming they were rushing us out. The staff although friendly and attentive you did get the vibe of get in eat and get out which really lets the place down. We had been there just under an hour before we were given a desert menu and asked repeatedly what we wanted. You know what I wanted…. A break between courses! We decided not to have a pudding as we were too full and just needed 10 minutes. They did however bring a sorbet out for my husbands and sang happy birthday which was very cute. The meal wasn’t bad but it’s put me off going back for the money you spend you could go to any high street Italian and get the same food.

Was nothing special sadly. The food was ok and service could have been improved. Seating not comfortable either. Burrata was good and ragu ravioli was nice but not something I would return for. Nice decor though

An impressive place in terms of decoration and atmosphere. The food and price are economically acceptable and very good. And a special mention to Katerina, the girl who served us, because her service has been impeccable at all times.

Giving it the best rating for the ambiance and the vibes! The staff was lovely with us and ensured everything came on time! Food highlights probably everything with truffle and the tiramisu were outstanding! Having said that, the prices are pretty high and one could say you'd want slightly more for what you pay. On a higher note, everything was great and the truffle pasta dish and truffle burrata stole the show. Definitely worth trying and visiting at least once!

An Italian restaurant where you can have a good time, especially with its wonderful atmosphere. We went as two families. The bresaola and burrata pomodoro we ordered as starters were great. The calamari plate was a very small portion but delicious. Unfortunately, the Pasta Ai Funghi and La Gran Carbonara we had for the main course did not make us happy. There seemed to be no sauce, the pasta was dry. Carbonara's sauce was so thick that it was solidified. I may be used to runnier sauces. This may vary for everyone. Pizza was very delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Generally ; I would go again but prefer other main dishes. I recommend it for dinner.

I got the steak medium and it was delicious, the smashed potatoes are to DIE FOR!! They’re absolutely the softest tastiest potatoes ever and I definitely reccomend getting. My friend got the carbonara which is mixed in a wheel of parmigiana for you which is a nice experience, and very filling and delicious too! The cocktails were yummy and the tiramisu was DELICIOUS!! The lemon meringue pie is INCREDIBLE, however it is a very large portion so maybe consider sharing because you’ll be stuffed from your main meal.. If it’s your birthday they’ll light you a candle and sing in Italian I think, very nice! The atmosphere is lovely and the music is a good volume where you can still talk, and other people talking just sounds like white noise! Very good experience, I prefer the tiramisu to the lemon meringue pie though as it’s very zesty and may be an out there option for some.

The restaurant is more than wonderful, the food is wonderful, and the service is also good. I advise you to visit it

Very good restaurant! We have been there in January and have booked a table a week in advance. Arrived a bit before scheduled time and they let us in. No row in front of the restaurant. Kind staff , quick restaurant and overall experience was very good! Would like to come back!! 🤗

My first visit and also my last visit. My birthday dinner was ruined by a waitress who accused us of changing tables without asking. When I tried to explain that I had been at the same table since being seated, she claimed that I was shouting at her, even though I was simply trying to clarify the situation. Even the manager came apologised and attempt to make it up with a dessert fee of charge (which I ordered it before he said it on the house) couldn't save the experience. The worst dinning experience ever! Training is needed for their staff.

Water was a sour face but otherwise everything was excellent

Let me start by saying I have wanted to come to this restaurant for absolutely ages. I live in sheffield and was staying in London for the weekend for my birthday so me and my husband decided now was the time. First of all the restaurant in absolutely gorgeous? Exactly like the photos on Google. It is warm and inviting and we were so excited. We were given our table which was good, however we as right next to where the staff counter was and they were all stood together chatting away and it was loud. I simply asked the server if there were any other tables and she looked at me as if I was mad and said ‘no this is all we have’ which I didn’t mind as I know it’s busy, but her tone and the way she looked at me suggested we were wasting her time and beneath her. Didn’t catch her name but she had a leopard print jacket on. We sat down and the waitress came to the table who was lovely and asked if we needed any help and was very attentive. We decided on starters which of calamari and dough pillows filled with cheese. The food was average. I have definitely been to better Italian restaurants and my calamari looked and tasted like something you’d get in a takeaway, mostly batter and hardly any fish. I was disappointed, but thought never mind the main will be better. We asked the waitress what she would recommend and so my husband got the truffle pasta and I got the crab linguine. Again his pasta was average and mine was quite tasty. However I was disappointed that my plate was quite chipped and then when eating bit into something hard, I took it out of my mouth and flicked it away by mistake. So I still don’t know if it was a piece of the plate or a hard crab shell, in any case it was gross. We then decided that we didn’t need deserts but kindly, as they knew it was my birthday, they brought out a piece of tiramisu on the house for us to share. I’m not a fan of it so can’t really comment on how good it was. Overall I would probably return for a drink but not food as the restaurant itself is gorgeous. The portions sizes are good but this place is definitely more boujee than tasty.

Rodent issue: We had a nice meal, but by the end of our meal there was a mouse running around the floor. We informed staff who were unpreterbed and said “I know”.

A fantastic Italian restaurant. The environment and the food are super picturesque, the pasta is fresh and tastes delicious. They also offer a wide range of alcohol and cocktail. Would recommend booking in advice.

This restaurant looked very picturesque and was amazingly decorated with unique and creative aspects that really enhanced the vibe. I really liked the atmosphere. The service was alright but could have been better. I think it may have been because it was very busy. The food was OK. I enjoyed the starters. We had calamari, foccacia, and the buratta. I had the Ravioli bolognese, which was alright. It wasn't presented very nicely. The desserts were absolutely amazing. I tasted the donatella banana and the incomparable lemon pie. I would probably go back for a drink and dessert only.

Magical atmosphere, never disappoints. Great service, delicious food and super reasonable for the west end of London. Great place to celebrate a special occasion.

Fast service, good atmosphere, delicious meal!

Terrible service, we have a table reserved but they make you stand in the pouring rain in the ‘no reservation’ queue. We wait for 30 minutes, 50 people ahead of us in the queue. Not worth the hype.

Seafood tortellini was amazing!

5 stars to Florian – very friendly and professional. We left happy thanks to his service and were also pleased to receive the seats we had specifically requested. However, we cannot say the same about the food. We expected much better. We ordered two carbonaras, but the sauce was far from authentic – no egg yolk ( at least we couldn’t taste any), no pepper. It was a watery, cheesy sauce with only couple of pieces of guanciale. The dish lacked the creamy richness and flavor a carbonara should have, leaving us disappointed with the bland, completely white sauce. Also very small portion. Additionally, we requested a spicy pizza from the menu but asked for half to be made without chili and ’nduja due to dietary restrictions. After receiving confirmation from the manager that the kitchen could accommodate the change, we were optimistic. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived as if no changes had been made. When we inquired, we received an apology and were told, “The kitchen is very busy and doesn’t really accept changes.” This information should have been shared upfront so we could have ordered something else. The cocktails were also basic and unremarkable. Overall, while the location is beautiful and Instagram-worthy, we found the experience overpriced and underwhelming. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning or recommending this place.

An amazing Italian restaurant. It is huge, but virtually full on a Sunday afternoon. The pizzas are huge. The pasta excellent quality. The staff are engaging and helpful. Look forward to coming back.

Great experience here!!! Went out for diner here with my girlfriend. The food, especially the appetizers that we had were amazing. The food was actually really high quality. 5/5 But…the service… a special thank you to Mario!! What a load of helpful he is..AMAZING!!!! It occurred to me early on that he is busy all the time with all the tables, to keep an eye out..everybody have a drink? Or, is there anyone who might want to order? he had attention for everyone! He was very friendly and helpful, he gave an explanation about the burrata, which we had ordered ( the best burrata ever!!! ) and where the cheese came from. A special thank you to Mario!!! Mario is a real asset to this restaurant! In addition, the atmosphere, and the music is great!!! Truly a must have for any occasion, if you ask me.

They served us very quickly and the food took very little time to come. Everything was very good and it was my birthday and they had the detail of congratulating me and putting a candle on the dessert. Very very good attention and very nice. I would return!

I was a little bit disappointed with the food which was a shame as I wanted to visit this place for forever. Starter burrata salad was a bit bland. And for main I had a fish and it was ridiculously salty. I normally would go for pizza or pasta and maybe that was a mistake going for fish as i know they famous for pizza and pasta at this place. But fish was definitely not the best. And for such a high proce definitely not worth it. On the other hand decor is stunning and service was good.

Excellent service and exquisite food

The food had an overwhelmingly strong spicy taste that didn't suit my palate, and even the pizza dough tasted strange to me. As I mentioned, I simply didn't like the spices they used, but perhaps others might enjoy them. The restaurant is extremely popular; we made a reservation a month in advance. Additionally, it is dog-friendly🐶

Everything was really right for us here. The ambience, service and food were authentically at the highest level. The burrata appetizer was to die for.

Hygiene Concern!!! The food was terrible, utensils were dirty, and the restroom was filthy and smelly by 5:30 PM, worse than a train station. A middle-aged waitress interrupted us repeatedly, asking if we’d paid and claiming she couldn’t find our table, despite our reservation. No apology was offered. Would not recommend to anyone.
