I always find fun Circolo Popolare.

The food had an overwhelmingly strong spicy taste that didn't suit my palate, and even the pizza dough tasted strange to me. As I mentioned, I simply didn't like the spices they used, but perhaps others might enjoy them. The restaurant is extremely popular; we made a reservation a month in advance. Additionally, it is dog-friendly🐶

An absolute 10 out of 10 experience. The salads were very freshly prepared, the pasta alldente and tasty. The waitress Michele was polite, friendly and accommodating. The ambience is absolutely breathtaking. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Everything was really right for us here. The ambience, service and food were authentically at the highest level. The burrata appetizer was to die for.

Hygiene Concern!!! The food was terrible, utensils were dirty, and the restroom was filthy and smelly by 5:30 PM, worse than a train station. A middle-aged waitress interrupted us repeatedly, asking if we’d paid and claiming she couldn’t find our table, despite our reservation. No apology was offered. Would not recommend to anyone.

Circolo Popolare is nothing less than a first class experience - a place that transforms a meal into a memorable event. The Bolognese was without a doubt world class – silky smooth, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. This is the best meal I have ever had and I say that without hesitation. Each and every dish is a delight for the taste buds and the wine list is impressive, with wines that offer exceptional value for money. The service is as remarkable as the food. Andrei, our waiter, was simply in a class of his own. He is a master of his craft – authentic, attentive, and with an ability to make each and every guest feel seen and cared for. He balances professionalism and genuine warmth in a way that is rare to experience. Andrei truly deserves the title "the best waiter in the world," without exaggeration. Circolo Popolare sets a new standard for what a restaurant experience can be. This isn't just a place for food - it's a destination. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a magical evening filled with amazing food, excellent wine and exceptional service.

We tried this restaurant on January 1st, it is magnificent. The decoration is truly splendid. despite the size of the restaurant, we did not find it noisy. The servers were friendly and smiling. We ate well. The pizzas are really good, the dough is light and tasty.

The staff behaviour isn't the best, some of then are rude. Food is average, otherwise decor and ambience are strong points

Have amended this review following our second visit. So disappointed. Went again for our daughter’s birthday. Not enough staff, we had to move tables and just felt unwelcome. Food is great though. Not sure we would go back for a special occasion. Also a note to say that they ignore the special requests on the booking.

We tried the truffle pizza and truffle pasta. We love truffle in general, the pasta was very good. Pizza was good too. We went to its rival place 3-4 months ago. It was good there too, but I can say that the atmosphere here was better. The employees were attentive.

The mafaldine al tartufo and the mammargherita pizza are very good. However, the tagliata di manzo was dry and came in little quantity. The dessert, the cioccolato mousse, was the best, it had an authentic hazelnut flavor. The atmosphere very well decorated and good service. A little expensive quality price.

I had an amazing time with my wife, taken care by the waitress Ana Julia. It was our wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. The music, the service, the drinks and the most important, the food. Certainly I will come more often.

Our waitress Ana was absolutely amazing!!! She was super helpful when we asked for wine recommendations after we shared what we typically drink. Her patients is 10/10 we were unsure of what we wanted when she came to take our order and changed our mind after our original order (before she walked away) and she was very very kind!!!

I have been trying to contact this Restaurant as I didn’t receive my deposit for a group booking of 10 people when we visited on the 20th December. After paying the receipt we then realised the deposit had not been deducted from the bill. The waitress told my partner he would receive the deposit back as a refund… it has now been 9 days and heard nothing since. We have emailed twice and been ignored, also no one has been answering the phone when calling the contact number on the website. Can someone please get in touch regarding this as we are at a lose end.

Great restaurant and great food

I was treated to lunch by my friend who had eaten their before a really enjoyed it. The decor is very cool and there's always photos of it on social media. We were seated right by the decor and I noticed they do not clean there and the area had a thick layer of dust and was sticky too. We ordered a beef carpaccio and vegetarian pizza. The carpaccio wasn't of the best quality, my friend was disappointed by this as she said it was the best thing she ate last time she visited and the pizza while tasty could have had more mushrooms on it. I counted three mushrooms. Toilets are dimly lit which isn't great and you can see into the men's toilet! Service was fine. Overall, not worth the hype and how long you have to wait for a reservation.

One of the best Italian restaurants in London, the atmosphere is amazing. I was a resident two years ago and I discovered that all of his chain of restaurants are bad and different from the previous ones, unfortunately, and are not worth trying.

5 stars all the way, really good food and ambiance.

First of all, let me say that this particular restaurant has an extremely high rating and a lot of traffic, and I was a little hesitant to book a table since it could be a tourist trap. To book a table via google you have to enter a month before and if you find a table at the time you want you have to fill in an iban so that money will be taken from you in case of no-show (20gbp/person). In general, as in other restaurants in London, there are strict rules regarding the reservation time, the time you will sit (1.5h-45min), etc. In addition, the space is huge, with nice decoration (there were 20k bottles on the walls) and an infinite number of people who don't bother you with the noise. The service is prompt and informative, besides, you give a tip of 10% of the order. Food generally tasty except for the salad which had a weird cheese taste (think insalatina trevigiana gorgonzola). As for pizza, I tried some like it hot which was moderately spicy for my taste. The lemonpie, as the catalog said, is a MUST both in terms of taste and appearance. I really haven't had so much meringue on top of a lemon pie that looked like the sails of a sailboat. Unfortunately, we had to pay the bill through an app that kept bugging us and constantly overcharging us.

Ambience was good but the food was substandard. Utensils were broken. Good ambience but would not recommend the food. Not worth the hype.

Food could be spiced a little better and deserts were not the tastiest. I didnt enjoy how the hazelnutty chocolate and pistachio ice cream combine in the profiterole. But pretty good experience overall.

A beautiful dining experience! And an experience it absolutely was! The team went out of their way to accommodate our requests for a better table based on the one they gave us which was initially a little small. The Venue is an absolute spectacle and that alone is enough to get anyone through the door, the food follows up with some beautiful textured and tastes! Book now!!

Interesting atmosphere and decent service. What we received was tasteless and certainly pasta at the level of bars in Poland. Even the tea is at a terrible level.

I was expecting more of the food. I ordered the cacio and pepe with truffles but the truffles tasted nothing like truffles and the cheese had no flavour as well. I shared it with my husband and he had the same opinion. On the other hand, we had the lemon pie which was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, the waiter who served us was really polite and friendly. Service was quick too. The restaurant looked beautiful with a huge amount of bottles decorating the place, very good ambience and music going on. The ingredients could be a bit better though. Will be coming back to try other plates.

The atmosphere is very good, the truffle pizza, rocket man and seafood pasta are nice. Cheese man pizza is not successful. Service was good, tiramisu was nice. The staff were attentive, I recommend it…

Views here were stunning. Staff were also very nice and the food came quickly. However, I felt like the food was just alright, I did not necessarily feel mind blown. The beef carpaccio was good but not mind blowing, the crab pasta was pretty tasty and the Pepe was very mediocre- because we got it without the theatrics of it coming in a cheese bowl, I was not impressed. For 4.8 star ratings I thought the restaurant would be closer to something in that of Italy or something that is really really delicious but I’d say it was just alright. Maybe there are better items in the menu, but I’d recommend people go for the vibes and I’d recommend the crab pasta. Can’t provide recommendations for the rest.

Dette sted er FANTASTISK. Fuldstændig uroligt. Når man står udenfor restauranten ser den ikke ud af meget, men så træder du ind i en fantastisk atmosfære. Virkelig flot og speciel. Maden er vanvittig god, og kan klar anbefale pizza eller pasta der. Deres drinks er virkelig gode, prøv dem endelig. Derudover fantastisk dessert, flot præsentation og god smag. Jeg vil anbefale alle at tage herhen og spise. Vi fik derudover også en rigtig god betjening. Smilende og rare tjenere.

The interior is lovely and perfect for Instagram enthusiasts. Reservations are a must, as the place is nearly always fully booked. Despite the high number of guests, the service is impressively quick. The food is delicious; we particularly enjoyed the truffle pizza and mushroom pasta.

CHEEKY ATTEMPTS TO CHARGE ADDITIONAL MONEY. Was very shocked to see that on top of the 12.5% service charge, you are invited to leave a tip. I did not immediately assume service was included so was about to add a tip and then I saw that I had already paid £17 for what was a pretty standard meal. Felt a bit cheeky. We were told to use an QR code to pay and looked over the bill and it all seemed ok. When I looked at the VAT receipt after we left, I noticed a £2.89 charge to use the payment system which we were not informed about. Again, quite cheeky.

The place inside is beautiful and very scenic and creates a perfect atmosphere for a dinner. I could only try the pizza but I really liked it.

Whenever we’re in London, we absolutely MUST come to Circolo Popolare. There’s always something new on the menu to try!
