One of the most beautiful restaurants in London. A huge place and the photos don’t do it justice. Crowded but if you are lucky you might find somewhere but best to reserve. Service is fast and the food is really worth the price. Don’t miss the “tigramisu” and the dessert pizza and also try their cocktails. The eggplant dish needed a bit more salt and the bruschetta was a bit disappointing but overall really enjoyed it

I always find fun Circolo Popolare.

The restaurant is a bit overhyped. The food was good, but it was way too busy and the tables are so close together that it was difficult to move from your table. We also thought the music was so loud that you couldn't have a nice conversation. I think there are much nicer places to eat than this restaurant. I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Large lively Italian restaurant.

Lovely service, went for a birthday and had cake with candles and singing alongside free shots! Pasta was lovely, we had the carbonara made in a massive cheese wheel and a crab and lemon pasta, both of which were delicious. Definitely a good place to book for an occasion, but book well in advance! Very good value for the food and service, location is an amazing dining space too.

A special Italian restaurant with thousands of bottles along the walls. High tempo and modern noisy environment. Not suitable for a quiet romantic dinner. The food, pizza, that we ate was very good. With the food we drank Italian lager on tap.

Service and atmosphere is pleasant with nice, like transported to the Mediterranean. If you want a nice photo to put on Instagram then this is the place. If you want some nice food then look else where. Everything was bland and overpriced. Order calamari but was out of stock and they had cheap octopus/squid instead but same price. Oilly and bland. Ordered the Carbonara looked good in the cheese wheel but was dry with only a few bits of ham......bland. Could not take any more and skipped desert and got the bill where you have to pay a handling fee for paying online via QR code. What a con! Avoid this place at if you want Good food!

i will never return to this restaurant i am baffled that it has such positive reviews. yes the restaurant looks beautiful despite being crammed in however the food is so bad that i left feeling angry. not only were the portions so tiny i left feeling hungry but the food arrived before our drinks did and it was freezing, i am always suspicious when the food takes less than one minute to arrive as this indicates it is not cooked fresh to order. I have waited longer in mcdonald’s than i did here, surely they must realise that rings alarm bells for customers? the tortellini was rubbery and flavourless, tortellini from Tesco would have had more flavour and wouldn’t have cost me £20+ for 5 pieces. I am so disappointed by this place, one of the places that is only good for Instagram and not a decent meal. Please avoid this place if you have any respect for Italian cuisine.

The food was good but doesn’t necessarily match what is written in the menu. For example when you order the fuccachi you get barely 3 pieces of bread…

Avoid if possible place looks nice inside but that’s it. Food was out before our drinks was like fast food. Tortellini was AWFUL the cheese inside was tasteless and it was cold and wouldn’t feed a child got 5 bits of pasta. The other meal was also cold and tasteless. Overpriced wost Italian I’ve ever been to.

Loved eating out on the terrace. Didn’t make a reservation but they still went to the effort to seat us with an available table. Food options were plentiful and from the 4 dishes we ordered, they were all very good.

It's so greasy and salty... It's expensive, but I almost had it all left over. It feels like the noodles are undercooked, so if you don't like the undercooked taste of spaghetti noodles, I don't recommend this because the noodles are too thick. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like greasy or salty foods. Even though I'm not the type of person who can't eat greasy foods at all, I had a hard time eating it. I don't think there's any reason for the good rating other than the atmosphere. (And a bit racist.)

We recently visited Circolo Popolare for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere was incredible, with picturesque decor that truly captured an authentic Italian vibe. The food was delicious, although we wished there were a few more options on the pasta menu. The service was friendly and attentive, making our special day even more memorable. The staff surprised us with a birthday card, and their rendition of "Happy Birthday" while bringing out the dessert was a humorous and charming touch that had us laughing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu.

Very average food, overpriced, and tiny portions. The restaurant is trading on its name as part of a famous chain but the quality of the offering is not commensurate with the pricing. I’ve eaten at their sister restaurant Jacuzzi in Kensington which is the same price point but the food is actually of decent quality.

Beautiful place a few steps from Oxford Street in London. Original, beautiful and pleasant environment... very cheerful... perhaps a little too noisy. It is an Italian restaurant and the food is very good, the best seems to be the carbonara x2 but we concentrated on the pizzas (excellent) on the sliced ​​chicken and skewers. Reasonable prices also considering that we are in London. Waiting 2 months to eat in one of the most famus Italian restaurants in The City was not impressive. Despite of beautifully designed unique decor, the atmosphere does not reflect a traditional Italian restaurant with a loud American and English pop music to waiters who as amazing as they were, obviously there was no training for them working in a white tablecloth restaurant. Food is very average, nothing exciting and unfortunately small portions, except for big Mama's Carpaccio which is an amazing alternative for starters. The last sad part of the night was receiving a bill with 13.5% service charge, which according to few of the staff, majority of it is going to the corporate!

After a couple of years, we decided to grace Circolo Popolare with our presence again, all in the pursuit of that elusive carbonara we once fondly remembered. Alas, what a disappointment it was—dry, flavorless pasta that seemed to have lost its will to live. One can’t help but wonder if Circolo, riding high on its Instagram fame, has decided that mediocre food is perfectly acceptable as long as it photographs well. On the bright side, Florentina's service was impeccable—polite, friendly, and the only thing worth raving about. If you’re still craving a taste of the Big Mamma group, skip Circolo and head to Jacuzzi instead. At least there, they still remember how to cook.

Pizza was cold, pasta was cold, waitresses are rude… just a tourist catch

Truffle noodles is a must-try food in London. Many people want to make reservations. Carpaccio with sesame leaves and truffle noodles are two must-orders. The wine bottles on the wall are very impressive and the atmosphere is very good. The portions are enough for the four of us. We will have the opportunity to come to London. Come again

I was super excited to check out Circolo after reading all the positive reviews. The food and service were very average, atmosphere felt productionised, and overall overhyped. Bit of a scene, if you’re into that, but not my vibe.

Food was really good, I asked what the waitress would recommend and she recommended the pizza which was probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had, or at least in the top three. No exaggeration! Interior design is also amazing with the greenery and bottles everywhere. Also, although the place looks great, the prices are very reasonable

Great restaurant from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The food was the most authentic Italian food I have tasted in London. Cocktails were HUGE! I got a free tiramisu and birthday card from the team and they sang happy birthday. I will be back with more friends in the future.

I made a reservation online the day before noon. I think the reservation fee is 80 pounds? I was hesitant for a moment because I was told it would take a while, but I'm glad I made a reservation and went. The inside of the store was beautiful and the service was good.

Unfortunately, our recent visit to this restaurant, which used to be one of our favorites, was a massive disappointment. To start, we ordered our usual breasola di valentina, an appetizer we always enjoy. But this time, they brought us a ridiculously small plate with just 4 slices of beef, yet they had the nerve to charge £10 for it! We didn’t complain at the time because we were celebrating a special occasion, but things were already off to a bad start. Next came "La Gran Carbonara," the dish we were most looking forward to. Having enjoyed it on previous visits, what they served us this time was nothing short of an insult. The portion was so small it seemed like they only put 60 grams of pasta on the plate, and that’s being generous. The pancetta was practically non-existent—no more than 5 grams, if that. The pasta itself was tasteless, without even a pinch of salt. And to top it off, the carbonara should be loaded with pepper, but ours didn’t have a single speck! The sauce, which is traditionally made with Parmesan and egg, was instead a poorly cooked double cream concoction. The result: both my girlfriend and I spent the entire afternoon with upset stomachs. We usually order dessert, but we were so disgusted that we decided to pay and leave. And to make matters worse, when I scanned the QR code to pay, I discovered that they force you to pay a 13.5% service charge plus an additional fee for using the payment platform, which doesn’t even accept Amex. It’s obvious they use this mandatory service charge to cut costs when paying their staff, who probably earn minimum wage and rely on the "tronc" to make a decent salary. This restaurant has lost two loyal customers. And a piece of advice: if you don’t have specialized chefs, give them more training! Goodbye.

very cool vibe and food. the place is picture perfect. they are quite busy so service might be a little slow. definitely need a reservation!!
