A very nice and good restaurant. But above all, the waiter Jason served us impeccably. I'm incredibly grateful and will return.

It's a very nice and pleasant place. Dinner was delicious, especially the pasta carbonara, which was one of my favorite dishes. And the service was very attentive, especially the guy named Jason who served us. He was great. I would recommend this place... ☺️

Waiter Jason is excellent, sticking to the most traditional Neapolitan style. I know what I'm talking about. He also combines timeless style with a modern twist, pairing his recipes with next-generation cheeses. A 10. The atmosphere is like something out of "Catch Me If You Can." There's a scene with the same set that makes you feel like DiCaprio is about to walk in, dressed as an airline pilot. A 10.

A wonderful place, the decor and atmosphere are incredible. The food is spectacular, I couldn't decide where to go because everything was made with such love and care. And let's not even mention the service. We had a waiter (Jason) who was always attentive to our needs, very friendly, so I would return for that alone... for the attention I received!!!

I’ve eaten at Circolo Popolare many times now and the food is always delicious! Their spaghetti carbonara (served from a cheese wheel!) is a personal favourite 😍 the service is good and their staff have always been friendly. One thing to note is that the Spaghetti Carbonara in the cheese wheel is only served per 2 people. Their desserts are HUGE, usually we get one to share between us as we never have enough room for a dessert each! It’s always busy and fully booked so it can get quite noisy and warm inside, but it’s always a lovely meal. Highly recommend ☺️

Will recommend drinks only and nothing else. We just sat down and the witer offered water , olives and bread. It was presented like it on the house but only this costs 15 £!!! The place is beautiful but the food had no taste. We ordered pasta and ravioli and tasted like noting even salt couldn't save the food.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere absolutely stunning, and our server was excellent — truly a memorable dining experience overall. I would have given 5 stars, but two things held me back. First, one staff member saw me waving for attention, made eye contact, then turned away without acknowledgment simply because she wasn’t in charge of our section. A small gesture like a nod or smile would have gone a long way. Then, as I was leaving, a waitress accidentally spilled drinks on me and a few other patrons. Mistakes happen, of course — but an apology would’ve been appreciated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A place with particular decor that you absolutely must try

The place is beautiful and very busy. The food is mediocre. The best item in our order was the lemon meringue pie. In my opinion, everything else is overpriced and uninspired (we tried the pasta and the pizza).

The food was amazingly delicious and a very good service. I will recommend it. Also, it would be good to include more vegan options for the mains with protein, normally it is just one for primo and one for secondo. The vegan dessert was superb.

Pretty ambience, was here for a birthday celebration. Horrible service, the servers don’t really care what you are asking for nor do they customize orders. The food is pretty average.

Concerned to see after my visit, that other reviewers are also reporting food hygiene problems that we experienced. Chipped plates present two food hygiene risks; foreign materials getting into food, and porous surfaces harbouring pathogens. One third of the plates on our table were chipped. One of our group still had food on their side plate, a tiny but obvious amount, that he could wipe away using a napkin, so it didn’t appear to be dried on. Our waiter was very good, and the food was good. Not happy about paying a platform fee to pay by QR code or being asked to leave a top up tip on top of 13.5% service charge (which we were happy to pay as service was good). Waiter agreed to take payment using another method but this was in small print and it’s not exactly in line with the generosity vibe of Italian dining and feels sneaky. Really need to sort the hygiene issues, then would return, but would remember to tell FOH to get a paper bill, so we do t get stung with hidden fees.

Terrible place to eat and to say it's authentic Italian food is laughable.

I cannot recall a time I enjoyed a restaurant experience more than Circolo Popolare in London. The food was absolutely perfect, ambience looked magical, the staff were wonderful humans to be around.

Ate dinner with family in connection with birthday celebrations. This could be chosen when booking and when we arrived there was a greeting card on the table. In addition, there was a candle in the dessert which was served with the Italian song of honor from two waiters, fun thing. A bit expensive, I think.

After having run the London marathon this was the most perfect restaurant to celebrate in. The service was fantastic, and the food was even better. Thank you so much! 🙂

Everything is more than wonderful

I visited last week, The place was super hot, asked them to open the doors or turn on the A/C but was super hot, Food was not good, and there were mice 🐀 in the restaurant, which my friends when saw got bery scared Food was undercooked

Absolutely beautiful cosy Italian in central London. Lovely authentic Italian menu and some nice cocktail options. The food was amazing, best Pizza I've ever had! Never seen a thinner crust. Staff was super friendly. We were there with a one year old and they were extremely accommodating with the buggy and high chair and also everyone was entertaining the baby : ) rare to find such a lovely place with actual friendly staff in London, so all the 5 star reviews are completely justified.

I couldn't fault the place. Dining as a family with a wide range of ages can be difficult, but this place delivered in every way.

Lovely place 3min. walk from TottCourt Road station. The decor is truly amazing, nice athmosphere, good service and quality food. This was our 2nd time visit; this time we had a lunch on Friday afternoon, it was busy so reservation is needed. We ordered some antipasti then pasta & pizza main course (pasta with fresh truffle was really tasty) and dessert (tiramisu - top score plus some icecream).

Terrible customer service from female Maitre d' and male assistant. Blunt and rude and wouldnt even make eye contact- it was so unprofessional and lacked basic skills and hospitality. Ruined our evening with their lack of integrity and lack of warmth.

I can't fault the service, but I can't say the same about the food. The expensive pasta was overcooked (in an Italian restaurant?) and dumped on the plates with no finesse. What upset me the most was the cost of three tiny pieces of bread (we were four people): £4.50! Most Italian restaurants don't even charge for bottomless bread. No one told us we were expected to pay via a QR code (COVID was years ago), and no paper bill was delivered. Call me old-fashioned, but I want to see a bill. It had a lovely atmosphere, but we won't return. There are much better places to eat Italian food for a more affordable price.

Amazing vibe , lovely decor , the place is all about the ambiance . We didn’t feel the food was anything special .. we ordered the burrata , pizza pepperoni , bresaola and tiramisu.. it was good but we wouldn’t come here for the food .. just the vibrant and busy ambience in a beautiful setting

Food was quite average for the price - portions quite small, cold, and not worthy of much hype. Chicken dish had 4 quite small pieces of chicken on a skewer. Menu was a QR code which limited how nice it felt - service was fairly average. Restaurant was very pretty and aesthetic but overall, average experience. Would suggest elsewhere

Although it is extremely popular and needs to be booked weeks in advance, this restaurant did not leave a perfect impression. The food is tasty but not the best, although compared to other London restaurants, it is excellent. The pizza is average, as is the pasta. The chicken with potatoes was great, but the portion could have been bigger. The best thing was the tiramisu—highly recommended! A downside is the digital menu, which is difficult to navigate. Additionally, payment can be made online without calling the waiter, but a 13.5% tip is automatically added, which can be an unpleasant surprise for guests. On top of that, there is an extra charge for using the digital payment service, but with a note that this fee can be avoided if a waiter is called. However, when we called the waiter, he directed us back to digital payment, putting the guest in an awkward position.

What a stunning restaurant! The decor was absolutely breathtaking, and everything was a treat for the eyes. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was fantastic—we ordered a couple of pasta dishes based on Luigi's recommendations, and they did not disappoint. No complaints at all from our table. For dessert, I highly recommend the lemon meringue pie—just make sure to share, as the portion is massive! Be sure to book ahead; it's a popular spot. We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it was the perfect choice.
