I made a reservation and visited! Vongole is really delicious and the pizza is great! The risotto has a strong cheese-mushroom flavor, so there may be some people who like it or not! The staff brought us bowls for the seashells, provided wet wipes, and took our orders right away, so they were very friendly! Be sure to visit. The food tastes even better thanks to the friendly staff.

Its very simple pasta dishes. I think the genvese beef I had was beautiful but the cacio pepe is very rich. The lemonade is not lemonade in the classic sense but lemoney soda. I would clarify what is what to make sure you get what you are expecting. Staff was slow to come by with the bill. Great if you have time to chat as a group, but not if you have to be somewhere timely

Definitely good food, we had starters and mains, both of which were very Italian and delicious. My wife lad the risotto which was very buttery but tasted amazing. My salad nazurro was surprisingly filling. Excellent wine and coffee at the end. Service was warm and friendly.

Great service, amazing food, and a nice setting. Starters, main, dessert, and a drink for under £50 so very reasonable for a central London location. Highly recommend the gnocchi and chocolate mousse.

Very nice location. Super nice employees. The food was very good and the portion size was great. Highly recommended for people with gluten intolerance. The offer is really great, at least by German standards. Unfortunately, we had a bit of time pressure due to a guided tour afterwards and would have liked to have stayed longer. But there's another day coming.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service (Service fee included). I had the mushroom risotto which was poor; bland with poor composition. The rest of my party was happy with their meals.

Having traveled all over Italy for 2 months, I can confidently say this is a REAL Italian food place. From the bread, salads, pasta, pizza, and desserts, everything was delicious 😋 And add to that friendly and uplifting staff, this made one of our best meals while visiting London. A huge shout out to Silvia, who was extra friendly and lively with us. Would definitely return!

The food and ambience were nice however we weren’t told that we had the table for a certain duration (on the booking confirmation or on the day itself). Despite of this, we were pressured multiple times during our visit to leave. While we still had two full glasses of wine we were brought the bill and were expected to pay with an unfriendly face.

Family owned, great real Italian dishes! I had a special with wild boar in delicious pasta, my wife had a salmon entrée and my whole family loved the deserts. Great service and atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend and revisit.

I recommend. Probably the best pizza in London. Italians run the pizzeria. 😀

£10 for one glass of wine so it was expensive even for London. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Quite small portions. The tiramisu was excellent however.

I have frequented many Italian restaurants, but I believe that this one in London is truly exceptional. The authentic cuisine is prepared with great care and always tastes fresh. I came after reading the review and the noodles were undercooked. The squid was hard because it was undercooked. Still, the female staff was very friendly. Very tasty appearance but not so delicious taste.. It's a pity. The cost of cola and pasta is around 60,000 won.

Amazing food - expensive for normal tourists

Food is very good. It’s quite like original Italian. The clam spaghetti is really tasty too. It’s just a bit pricey and very busy. But considering Buckingham Palace is just next door, you might not find better restaurants around here.

Today, we had the chance to try the Pizza of the Month, and we were not disappointed. The new flavors were amazing—chorizo with goat cheese was a perfect choice! Definitely stop by if you're on your way to Buckingham Palace.

I am utterly appalled by the experience my family and I had. On a sunny Sunday afternoon around 4 PM, we sat down on the completely empty outside tables, looking forward to a pleasant time together. However, we were informed that the terrace was not being served, which was perplexing considering the beautiful weather and ample seating available. The situation only worsened when we were rudely told by the waitress that Bon Gusto is a "restaurant" and not a place for just dessert and coffee, which they assumed I wanted from merely glancing at the dessert menu. We were then condescendingly advised to visit the coffee shop across the street if we wanted just coffee. As someone who works in high-end hospitality, I was shocked by this treatment. What truly broke my heart was my 2-year-old daughter's excitement for ice cream, which was cruelly dashed by the staff's disgusting behavior. The level of rudeness and lack of basic customer service skills displayed was staggering. This experience raises serious concerns about the service standards and potential discriminatory practices at Bon Gusto. Such behavior not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also potentially breaches UK customer service regulations and consumer rights. It’s distressing to think how many other customers might have been subjected to this kind of treatment. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate action to rectify these glaring issues. No family should have to endure such a disappointing and degrading experience.

It was pure chance but a lucky one that I ended up in this restaurant. The people who worked there were great particularly John who took my order. By the way John I was right about Atalanta winning the Europa Cup. The food and wine was tasty and enjoyable and the atmosphere was great. A great end to the day, and I aim to go back solo or with friends

The lasagna was some of the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was great. Would have been 5 stars, but they did charge extra for bread (€3.90 without oil and vinegar or €4.90 with) which was surprising, and the soft drinks were expensive (€4 for small bottle). But, I will be back.

The food was satisfying, but not prepared with any excitement or love. We had a salad niçoise and it was edible, but not tasty. We began cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. The melon was hard and not ripe. Still, though, it was a nice respite from a full day of touring.

We had lunch at Bon Gusto with colleagues today and we were all very happy. I ordered the spaghetti with clams and they were delicious. I would stay here again!

Very nice simple, home cooked dishes. Ample portions and a great range of specials. Every single dish looked great. The only drawback for me was the London prices, but you have to expect that as it is only half a mile from Buckingham Palace. Nice atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. Great tiramisu.

Pleasant and efficient staff. I had the mussel Linguini which was amazing! Also spring salad which was very fresh. Food and service amazing all around.

A rather small, therefore cramped restaurant within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The prices are already high, but you wouldn't expect anything different given the location. We were absolutely satisfied with the taste of the food and also with the service. I only deduct one point for the narrowness of the restaurant when sitting.

Went to this place two weeks ago visiting London. This is a good Italian place. The bread and olive oil were great. The minestrone was good, albeit a different broth than I thought, but still really good. The ragu was basically a bolognese, which was better than the majority of ones I have had. It was very tasty. The only knock I have on this place I have is that the place is incredibly cramped, and the tables are very close together. I know this likely can't be fixed, but it is something to consider if you come to dine here.

The food was not bad, but overpriced. I ordered a stake that had burned taste and a little burnt on the outside. The fries tasted like seafood. The staff was not really nice and because of that the atmosphere was neither good.

A very nice place for a semi casual/formal evening. The food was great. We had the lasagna, carbonara and tiramisu. I'd recommend all of it.

We had a wonderful meal here! The manager was our server and she was so kind! The service was great! We enjoyed our meal outside, which was so nice as it was quite busy inside. If you’re going on a weekend, I recommend making a reservation. This was easily one of the best meals we had while in London!

Cosy Italian restaurant in the heart of Victoria/St. James’. Always amazing food, tastes very home made, with very friendly staff. Good wine choices too! Definitely would recommend for a usual dinner spot.

One of the best and still affordable Italian places near Victoria Station. Food was delicious, fresh and the ingredients of high quality. I had Linguine allo Scoglio with clams, mussels, calamari, lagostine, garlic, chilli and tomato. Oh my, this was simply a seafood heaven.

Quite average food. Adequate although some things are hit and some a miss. Great vibe inside, but again, it's about the food, always What we had: Margherita Pizza = 7/10 Spaghetti Ragout Di Carne = 6/10 Strozzapreti Boscaiola = 2/10 Biggest disappointment was the Strozzapreti Boscaiola which was, of coarse, the most expensive and tasted like boiled food. Nice pizza, good chew but nothing mind blowin. Good Ragout but no secret sauce. Unfortunately I don't see myself coming back here again.

I went in to have a drink and the staff was very unfriendly and tried to push us to order food because it is a "restaurant". I don't know if that is their policy or not but I don't think that in a place in the city center of London you cannot have a drink without eating. Avoid the place.

The reviews seemed good but arrived on site, no sympathy, coldness from the staff. Almost no hello when arriving, no thank you.... Food far from excellent, totally simple nothing more. Quantity to be reviewed and prices far too high compared to what is on the plate. In short, never again

My wife and I went there a few months ago. I wasn’t hungry so I ordered a light meal. After 30-40 minutes the owner came to tell us he needed the table for people who just entered. We just had time to finish drinking our glasses and go to the bathroom, and during this whole time the staff kept looking at us as if they wanted to pressure us into leaving more quickly. Worst thing is that the couple sitting next to us were eating dessert when we got in and stayed longer to chat without ordering anything else. It would have been the “right” choice to ask them to leave instead of us. Despicable, won’t ever go back to this restaurant again. Food wasn’t even that good. Oh, did I forget to mention my wife was pregnant ?

The lamb chops are amazing! It's not fishy at all, the rosemary seasoning is very fragrant, it's very tender, you can just bite it with your teeth, and it's very juicy.

Although it is somewhat expensive, it is worth it. Very good Italian food, the atmosphere is good. Reservations are recommended.

We went for a quick pizza around 4.30pm. They gave us the worst table in the restaurant despite the entire place being empty. I requested them for any other table. But they kept us stuck against a metal race of the service station. They were rude and hostile. Disappointing.

This used to be my dad and I is favorite Italian restaurant but unfortunately today we went in after seeing there’s reservations and was told there’s no places and they cancelled our booking in front of our faces. we went all the way to the restaurant just to have it cancelled because of an issue on their end. It was dealt with unprofessionally and with attitude. Sad to see what this place has come to.

Our find a place app reset and I didn’t noticed and fumbled into a review of this place. We had just had Italian food the day before but the review was so stunning we changed our minds from Fish and chips to here and were are thrilled with the kismet of the situation. Wonderful staff and the food was glorious!!! GLORIOUS I tell you!! My wife is a small portion person at the end of her meal she says to me, “that was my normal portion, but it was so good I wish I had five more ravioli.” She never wants more food. When I offered her a bite of my carbonara she liked it, but didn’t want anymore because she didn’t want to have to give me a whole ravioli in trade. When I was too full to finish, which never happens, she finished my dish. The portions are more than adequate, for Americans I am saying here, it was just so delicious! We then followed it up with Chocolate Mousse. Divine!!

Fantastic meal in a neighborhood restaurant. We needed a comfortable place for dinner the first night of our family vacation, including ages 12-81, and this was just right. Friendly service, delicious food, and great location, away from the crowded blocks near our hotel.

The food and desserts are all very delicious, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. The seasoning of the vongole and carbonara was just right and it was so delicious. But the dessert is even more delicious. The tiramisu was moist and the panna cotta was really soft. I liked that both were moderately sweet. It was a perfect meal!

We stumbled across a gem - 6 of us popped in for lunch today without a reservation (three v fussy children). Despite it being bustling Staff were really accommodating - put us across two tables next to each other and waitresses and waiters were lovely with the kids- requests for plain spaghetti and tomato sauce, made some adjustments to pizza removing basil swapping Parmesan for mozzarella etc! The normal pasta dishes were lovely, I loved the beef and pork ragu, the carbonara was gorgeous and the pizza beautiful and thin with fresh tomato base! Water was refilled plentifully without prompts and a lovely atmosphere. Price was very reasonable for a single course and kids ate as much as they could - the best compliment- refuelled for sightseeing!

Lovely staff and the food was excellent. Middle to high price , and the wine was a little dear. 12 ½% service charge on the bill, which seems to be the norm in London now. When we enquired whether the staff get all of the service charge, we were very disappointed to hear that we they did not. The waitress tried to explain they get some and there was a sort of points system. Perhaps the management could explain how the service charge is used?

Come nel titolo, ristorante ITALIANO scritto tutto maiuscolo. Posti dove si mangia così bene non si trovano facilmente nemmeno in Italia. Stanchi del solito fish and chips e degli hamburger, siamo entrati per caso, dopo aver visitato l’abbazia di Westminster e dirigendoci affamati verso Buckingham palace. Servizio eccellente, qualità dei prodotti più che eccellente. Davvero ottimo e consigliatissimo. I prezzi nella norma, ma data la qualità dei prodotti, più che giusti.

We had a very nice Valentine's Day evening, here. They also gave roses to our girlfriends. Especially the waitress of Brazilian origin(forgot the name) was very friendly and polite. :)
