I was very lucky to be taken on a first date here. The restaurant was empty but the food was amazing.
Had a phenomenal tasting menu and by the end, my date and I were on the floor, we could not eat anymore, we were extremely well fed. They really catered to my date’s gluten free diet as well so he was not missing out on anything.
The only annoying thing for me was the person serving us wouldn’t leave us alone to talk on our date, she proceeded to tell my date her entire life story which I found rather odd. They need to leave people alone to have their conversations and not tell them their entire life story, highly inappropriate especially as I was on a first date.
However the food was incredible and they really catered to my date’s gluten free requirements so we were both very happy.
Great for wine but would advise avoiding the drinks on-tap. We tried all three (Guinness, Neck Oil, Estrella) and all three tasted awful and gave us terrible stomach issues.
The set menu is absolutely amazing and a great way to try lots of things on the menu! The miso cod was a standout. Great service from Mohammed as well, thank you! :)
Only drinks, apart from chips for us, but very welcoming boozer who were kind enough to reserve us some tables for post-marathon family gathering. Busy and buzzing and we enjoyed the afternoon, thanks folks.
Wonderful aged steaks impeccably served. Old style panelled dining room hidden from the crowded bars of the Ned Hotel. Definitely an “in” place with live jazz on a central stage. We tried the sharing tomahawk while the other guest had a fillet. Faultless. A carefully decanted Amarone Tommasi to accompany it. As good as it gets.
Siempre me sentí tan cómodo y bienvenido en Leonardo Royal street Paul! El personal era absolutamente increíble y alojamiento tan perfecto para lo que necesitaba en Marathon Weekend!

A little noisy at peak times but it's a very cosy and wholesome place to have a drink. I didn't eat here but the food did look amazing and big portions.
