Great snacks n drinks. Very well situated to Blackfriars Station. Friendly staff n a great vibe to meet up with mates.

A quiet and restful place with (naturally) an excellent wine list, good snacks and really excellent service

The vibe is more of a pub than a restaurant. The food was nice but my cocktail was the smallest I had ever seen.

Suffering with few customers and no atmosphere these days. Food options poor and very expensive. There's plenty of better options around Blackfriars.

Bigger than it first appears, nice atmosphere, interesting character and feel to it. Good service and reasonably priced/decent selection of wines. Overall a nice place to end up for a bottle of wine

Amazingly empty for a Friday night. Not that I'm complaining too much because I like to hear myself think. I know it's primarily a wine bar but they should still get some decent beer in.

Great place for a drink with a wide selection of wines. We got the room in the back as the father in law is hard of hearing and the woman that served us was wonderful, super knowledgeable and actually gave her opinion on things which is refreshing. Food options could be a little better but what we had was tasty

Good place, but the bartender was quite ill accommodating when we asked to take the drinks right outside on a sunny day. Also, it closes early at times, without prior warning

Wonderful, cozy and with a great wine bar. The tapas are also delicious and a great match for the wines. The best, is the atmosphere and service.

Unassuming from the outside, this is probably the best wine bar within a mile of Blackfriars. Honestly recommended, the staff are what tip it from 'good' to 'terrific'.

Can't speak about the food, but the bar snacks and drinks were served with a smile making the entire experience really good.

£6.25 for "Patatas Bravas" We could not believe it when it came to the table. Ridiculous size, frozen Patatas and industrial and dry Bravas sauce (around 4 drops) .... With Mayo? As a customer and as a Spaniard this is ridiculous. (The restaurant looked nice though) Never again.

Used to like this place, sadly I found the staff were not very welcoming tonight. The lady guarding the restaurant area was quite abrupt, and after a tough day at work that's not what you want!

I was passing by many times and wanted to stop by for tapas and wine. And today was that day and I am sitting outside at not such a busy day and there is no service in sight. Waiter was out, saw me, I sad hello and he just never showed up. Waited for 15 and left... Don't know what to think

The bar staff wouldn’t serve me, I kept smiling at them and they ignored me, instead serving people who just arrived at the bar. I had to ask my Caucasian friend to order for us.

Fantastic bar staff who will discuss wine options with you. If you're having a glass of wine by yourself, sit up at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere. Very quiet during office hours, so great for a cheeky off-site 1to1 meeting. (What, all the meeting rooms were booked...)

Really friendly staff willing to accommodate to vegan wine requests.

Great food and ambience. Really delicious range of tapas and main dishes. Only missed out on 5 stars as service was slightly hit and miss at time, mainly a little slow and a couple of things were forgotten. The food more than makes up for it! The chorizo and squid were standouts.

Great place to head to after work for a glass of wine and a bite to eat. The wine list is extensive with something for everyone both in terms of tastes and price range. The food is also delicious. I'd recommend over ordering as portions are modest but good value. Only gets 4 stars as the service is a little slap dash when you are busy. Top tip: the food is on the back of the wine menu!

Myself and a few girls from work booked an evening meal here. Disappointed to be informed that "happy hour" is cancelled during December, which is one of the reasons we initially chose this venue. Service was a little haphazard - had to chase the waiter for drinks, then wrong drinks were brought to us, and this happened more than once (the restaurant wasn't particularly busy). The food was good, although portions were small so it seemed pricey, although this is common in central London restaurants. All in all a good restaurant, just a shame about the patchy service and lack of a happy hour!

Dinner with friends. Lovely meal and wine although music and dancing in the bar area was a bit odd. I had expected Spanish music (being a Spanish restaurant) but the music was mostly crunk.

Here for a weekday light business lunch, we shared a selection of tapas. service was attentive and friendly, the tapas were generous and tasted amazing - brought back memories of Spain. Will be back.

Decent Spanish tapas, just as expected. We had some nice Rioja too and, since the table was right in the back of the restaurant, we could have a nice conversation. Would visit again!

Camino serves some lovely fresh food in a vibrant atmosphere, in a great location. You'll never leave here hungry!

Have been here several times and always enjoyed it. Mahou beer is a treat and the food is excellent. On this visit we ordered off the express menu which was very well priced and most delicious. A great place to go for a relaxing lunch.

I have to admit that I have not often eaten tapas but I will be trying it more often after this experience. The restaurant has a bar at the front, which was pretty lively, but the dining area is well laid out, offering a degree of privacy. It wasn’t too noisy but had ambience. The service was excellent - really friendly and helpful. The food was awesome - delicious prawns, potatoes, meatballs etc. The black rice was so moorish. My only complaint is that I ate too much!Reasonable price at £80 for two. I will definitely go back and try more dishes.

We visited Camino Blackfriars fairly early on a cold Monday evening but it wasn't empty and was quite busy when we left. The decor seems authentically Spanish and the tapas we tried were very very good.We had the Padron peppers, patatas bravas, meatballs, ox cheek with olive mashed potato and the black rice. The last was the standout dish though the patatas bravas were also very good. The ox cheek featured distinctly more mashed potato than ox cheek and some of the portions were perhaps a little small for the price.Very drinkable house red wine, and very efficient service.

We hosted our annual fundraiser in the basement bar at Camino for around 100 people. The staff were great and the manager Martino bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we needed. Lovely food, great location - this is a hidden gem in the middle of the city.

Camino Blackfriars - Recommended to me by a friend. I booked it for a leaving do with 6 close friends. I arrived a little early with a friend so had a few drinks at the bar before the rest of my guests arrived. Good vibe and setting. The food and service were great. Would be great venue for a larger party too.

Lunch Tapas set was good value for money. It's not too busy at lunch time so good for quick business lunch.

A good choice for tapas, selection is good with decent flavour combinations. Portion sizes sensible and allow one to try a decent range of tapas. Service quick and pleasant.

Tuve una pesadilla en el bar que originalmente teníamos nuestro final de mes reservado en bebidas nos defraudó bastante mal en la undécima hora. Camino subimos a última minuto caminando y tuvo 40 para una fiesta bebidas lotería estafadores para mí. El director era gran nada era demasiada molestia y la espera y el personal del bar era muy servicial que ellos sabían que yo estaba en contra y ellos hicieron lo posible para asegurarnos de que nuestra noche fue bien. Gran noche lo recomiendo totalmente este encantador bar.

A great to spend a special occasion. Instead of the usual 3 course, friends and I decided to do the Tapas menu and was great. Tasty blends of spice and variety of different platters and bowls of vegetables/meat and accompaniments. Delightful! Good ambience with music. Buzzing!

I’ve always had a good experience in Camino and this branch didn’t disappoint. Attractive venue, and friendly and informed service, making some great suggestions for wine, and delicious tapas – I could have eaten the prawns cooked in garlic, chilli and white wine all night! The service was fast and efficient but we weren’t made to feel rushed. Delicious chorizo, lovely and slightly runny tortilla, and of course those prawns!

As ever, faultless food and service at Camino.First time in their Blackfriars branch. On a business lunch so opted for their express menu. Phenomenally good food, served quickly so we didn't have to rush the food.Delightful service and great company for lunch too.Only downside was that I had to leave after an hour. Could happily have spent the rest of the day/night there!

Had dinner last night there with my sister and her boyfriend, we showed up without reservation and we couldnt decide what to eat, waiters were very helpful!im sorry i cant remember the guys name but he was very helpful, he even booked a taxi for us abd found us a pub open till late! Best steak in town and desserts to die for! Service excellent!!!

I am fortunate to work opposite this modern tapas restaurant and bar ... have eaten lunch here on several occasions but recently had dinner here on a Friday evening. End of week drinkers throng the tiny square outside but inside all is as it should be ... cosy contemporary ambience, friendly genuine service, really well prepared and authentic food at a good value price ... we had a great meal ... do not miss the Arroz Negro.

Good food with unusual, as well as the usual, tapas dishes. The suckling pig is exceptional good. Certainly worth a visit.

I posted a review about this restaurant about 12 months ago. On a recent visit to London I made another booking and was delighted to find out that it has improved from what was pretty perfect last time.Great food - taken item by item as you would in a Spainish tapas bar - supported by fine wine and, most importantly, very capable staff.

Good middle of the road tapas joint, but not in the league of Jose, Brindisa & Mar i Terra. One actual negative - ill-conceived ceviche was too chilli hot and with an undesirable sweet potato creme puree.

After having a quick drink at the Ring, we along with our friends came down to Camino for dinner. It's a very good tapas bar; apt decor; friendly and smiling staff. The meat platter was simply great; don't remember the name. Also Spanish Mhao beer was very good; think I got the name right. Recommended!!

Good food and great wine meeting the standards that we come to expect from Camino but sadly the service was a little slow and disorganised.

Slightly in the back streets of St. Paul's but worth locating.The service here is always good - they are great at pointing out new dishes and drink suggestions. Last time had an amazing pink gin and tonic (about 4 actually!).Food quality is consistently good - and the plates are enough to allow 4 a taster. Waiters good at suggesting how many plates your table will need but also fine with top up orders as progress.Service is speedy so you may want to purposefully slow them down a bit by asking to not start straight away or asking for a few dishes and then a break.

Busy bar and outside area. But the dining area is inside around the corner. Neatly tucked away and cosy. The menu has a nice variety and drinks menu is also extensive. Service is good but can slow down when very busy.

Realmente decepcionante, buena comida pero no volveremos, es inaceptable que en un restaurante haya ratones.We were really looking forward to trying Spanish food in London after months away from Spain. The food was good, Spanish recipes with a twist to bring them closer to the British palate. However, while enjoying the desserts, we saw a MOUSE running around the tables; We immediately communicated it to the waiter who did not seem surprised. Really disappointing, good food but will not return, it is unacceptable that in a restaurant there are mice.

I am never disappointed when I come to Camino. The service is fast and friendly but not pushy. The food is amazing. A real hidden gem.

Went to Camino for a quick bite and drink around lunch time, we didn't book a table at restaurant which seemed fully booked but were still made to feel welcome at the bar upstairs. We ordered 6 tapas dishes based on some good recommendations from the barman, ended up with the right amount of food and served quickly. We were done within 45 minutes and will be returning soon(this time maybe book at the restaurant. I love Spanish food, and this was some of the best I've tasted in the UK. We have a team dinner coming up soon, I will be recommending this establishment for the lunch/dinner.

Lovely tapas lunch here, the food was really good and all staff very attentive at keeping my little party looked after!

Good atmosphere, food was good but overpriced for the small amount (we had a couple of platters) but it was nice food so not too disappointed. Happy hour is always a good idea!
