A cozy spot with a warm ambiance, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The Mocha was rich and smooth, and the homemade crisps was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a chill hangout! HMC verified As well. ✅️

After wanting to try this vegan restaurant for a long time we were very disappointed. We ordered bruschetta to start. The bread and oil tasted cheap and horrible. The lamb burger was plain tasting and didn’t feel like anything special. It was served with ‘wedges’ which were actually raw roast potatoes. The shepherds pie was ok but needed more topping to balance out the rich lamb flavour. Very small portions and no flavouring to the meal. We watched a waiter clean a table by sweeping all of the food from the table on to the floor. We left still hungry and wanting to find somewhere else to eat. Will not be returning.

Great pub! Good atmosphere and the friendliest staff. The food is banging (we all had pies) and drinks are all reasonably priced. I’ll deffo be back.

Average pizza place nothing memorable.

This place is a gem, a place where prices haven't sky rocketed or shrinkflation. Absolutely great value for money, I always get the fresh pizza from the bakery next door 10/10. It does get busy, and you will have to wait around but absolutely worth it. Fresh food at great value, keep up the great work. FYI £2 for a fresh cheese pizza

Después de leer comentarios anteriores, reservé este lugar. El restaurante era muy frío y poco iluminado. Shawarma de cordero pedido - pequeña porción de cordero con grasa en algunos trozos. El pan plano era del tamaño de una placa lateral. No es bueno.

The commanding corner pub only a short walk from St. Matthews church in Brixton. Unfortunately, we were greeted with full-on football crowd when on arrival, but once the game was over and the rowdy intimidating clientele dissipated it became more bearable. Bizarrely they don't sell prosecco in large bottles, only expensive tiddly ones. The kitchen was broken or having a day off.

Honestly had this so many times the past year and a half. My go to Thai. Unreal Tom yum soup which is hard to get. And amazing tom yum fried rice. In about the 15-20 dishes we’ve tried there was only one that I wasn’t a fan of (but my boyfriend was happy with it). Great atmosphere in there and only found out a couple of weeks ago it was BYOB. Not a single complaint- just wish sometimes it was bigger as some seating can be a bit close to the door. Or else AMAZING food and always a recommend to eat in amazing to order.

This pub is a gem for food and drink, be it a pint or a cocktail (recommend the passionfruit martini!). Lovely staff, too! Sadly the choc orange torte wasn't available ... Looking forward to the next meat free menu nights in January :)
