Autograf in Haringey

On my 7th day of severe food poisoning after eating here! Please don't do this to yourself!!! I came here with my Polish friend who fancied Polish food for Easter. I wish I could say it was tasty and worth the after effects - but the food was extremely poor quality even if it was well-presented. The filling in the pierogi in the borscht was like the texture of sawdust, the goulash had some chunks of mystery meat that were so overcooked they were dryer than unhydrated soya chunks. And the special of some kind of patty with mash was one massive lump instead of three small patties as it should be and had lots of bits of unpleasant cartilage. I was struggling to eat most of it, and gave up at some point but I wish I hadn't eaten any of it. Service was fine, not bad, not amazing. It really wasn't worth walking ages to get cash out for - as others have said it is cash only. This my first time trying Polish food - I want to believe it is better than this, certainly the concept of dishes was very interesting but just felt very badly made. Even my friend was a tad embarrassed as he wanted to show me good Polish food he was sentimental for growing up during the holidays.

Delicious authentic polish food

Absolutely phenomenal food! The pierogi with potatoes or meat are among the best I’ve ever had. Even the schnitzel, which travelled in a box, was still crispy. I’ve been ordering regularly, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!!

The absolute best Polish restaurant in London - and I’m not even Polish! Delicious, authentic food that’s clearly been made with real love and attention. The staff are super friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere - plus it’s great value for money too. You really owe it to yourself to try it (but make sure to bring cash).

Great traditional food. Huge portion sizes - always enough leftover for lunch. The bigos is perfect, kotlet is the best I’ve had and nice salad.

best Pierogi's🥟🥟🥟 but for for £30 for 2 portions you don't get any parts of yours advertised meal like fried onion on meat pierogi, no sour cream and sugar on strawberry one.. it's clearly in the menu but not in real. bit disappointed because usually they are very good especially in the restaurant.

Food is delicious! Totally recommend! Must try the pierogi and chicken schnitzel. It is a plate size and totally satisfying! The lady is totally welcoming and would definitely recommend and return again in future.

Delicious authentic polish food

Tasty food..although I think that the potato pancakes should be served separately with the sauce because they are soaked in the sauce and are not crispy, and the delicious tea with oranges, honey, cinnamon and cloves is a bit hard to drink because the cloves should probably be stuck into the oranges to prevent them from falling. in your mouth because it's a bit stupid to spit them out all the time in a pub 🫣😅😁🫶

Very good food, large portions, very nice service, a place really worth recommending. We came back after many years for the Zbójnicki cake and nothing has changed, it was delicious! I won't mention the dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms, because they are simply a masterpiece! I recommend

Feels like grandma’s every single time

I see a very high rating and I wonder where it comes from, because I was there recently and I have a completely different opinion - maybe it was a bad day, I don't know. I ordered 3 dishes: Pork chop with potatoes and cabbage, cutlet with cheese and mushrooms, fries and fried beetroots, and borscht with dumplings. The service was very nice and friendly, but I had to go to the counter several times, and I don't know if I imagined that the staff were smoking cigarettes in front of the place, it's not a nice sight and smell when you're sitting at the entrance with the door open. The cutlet with mushrooms was so salty that you couldn't eat it, it was also dry, the fries were of poor quality (frozen) and not good, the fried beetroots were "ok". Pork chop 1/5, large but the bun was detached from the meat, it was also hard, the potatoes were average, I liked the cabbage. The borscht was a success, the dumplings were strangely large but tasty. Ps. I don't know why these TVs are there, it would be better to eat in silence or with quiet music.

Pure delight from start to end! Gorgeous well lit little restaurant, cosy and homely. Staff extremely welcoming and warm, service quick, food EXTREMELY reasonably priced, and oh boy when it arrived… we had mushroom pierogi and a portion of hunters stew with bread. Everything perfectly cooked, meat tender and falling to pieces, everything seasoned to perfection, pierogi homemade and smothered in sweet onions soft and pillowy… they have something on the menu called “plate sized schnitzel” which I didn’t order, but saw them bring one out for someone else and it was approximately the size of a toilet seat. Polish MTV playing on the TV, honey beer in bottles, string lights round the door… thank you Autograf for making us yearn to go to Poland!!

I go there regularly and the food is always fresh, tasty and authentically Polish. The staff is helpful and efficient. My favourite dishes are zurek, the pan fried russian dumplings and the Hunter's stew. I recommend this place.

Solid portions, dumplings just like at home

Searched a long time for a Polish place with good potato pancakes with goulash and finally found it! Doesn't get better than this! :) Portions are gigantic, and prices are very reasonable! Just FYI, you need cash to pay, they don't accept cards.

I have been there so many times in the past and the food was always really good , today we ordered pork Tenderloins in cream sauce and I was so surprised, the food was not seasoned at all, I don't think I will order from there again. Maybe they changed the head cook, I don't know .

Great food in a nice little place but what a jokers…… you can only pay cash!!!! Just go and withdraw from the bank 2 min walk!!! There is always a reason why a place is always empty….. that just spoil the experience at the very end!! Good luck with your business 🫡

A Polish friend recommended this place and reserved for us. Food was amazing and tasty. Schintizel , cabbage, pirogis all makes you eat more and happy. Portions are really really good .. this is one of the few places in london still providing value for money. There were many polish people eating while we were there and enjoying their food. Service was good and quick, staff is very warm relaxed and welcoming. I really like the atmosphere. This a restaurant i want to visit again and try other items..

Small restaurant with authentic and delicious Polish food. Loved it! We had a chicken soup (rosół), and a few other typical polish dishes. You also can get a Polish beer and the ladies working there are so nice! Pierogi must be unreal, will try next time

Brilliant restaurant for authentic Polish cuisine. Convenient parking nearby. Be aware payment is cash only though they are cash machines nearby. I would highly recommend it.

Oh what lovely place this is ! I really enjoyed my dinner . I LL be probably dreaming about zurek and dumplings tonight. It is a small place so I recommend booking ahead. Service was good ,nice people and the food was delicious. Coming back very soon 😂 parking was easy , pay and display right opposite the restaurant.

We’ve been coming here for years. The food is amazing. A mixture of traditional Polish food and drinks and some universal classics. Not to mention pancakes like you’ve never experienced! Staff are friendly and guide on portion sizes. We were advised against the large pancakes, good advice. We felt very well looked after. We got take away boxes. Can’t wait to get home and eat more!! Twice the fun. My fav is the goulash and fried potato cake.

Massive portions of home cooked Polish food. The schnitzel was as big as my head and thankfully I was able to take more than half home. The goulash was excellent and the borscht was brilliant. Very very heavy food so make sure you are hungry. It’s great value, friendly and lacking any pretensions. I am so pleased we went. Next time it’s cold and rainy outside we will starve ourselves for a few hours and make our way there. Recommended.

The food was delicious, filling and plentiful. The Old Polish dish can be shared by two people, or get it to eat today and takeaway. The pancakes truly are a unique recipe and absolutely more ish. I was full but couldn’t stop till the the lovely staff took the food away to create a takeaway for me.

My husband and I had delicious Polish and home-made food for the first time and the next time we are in London again we will visit these wonderful places where we felt a warm, nice atmosphere, where wonderful ladies serve us and serve delicious food, and a big round of applause for the ladies in the kitchen, it's all thanks to them. The prices are very affordable and the portions are very large. We recommend it wholeheartedly!!!

Soup of the day was terrible , tasted like cheap pasta sauce with some pasta inside . Main was very salty , couldn’t eat that either . Borsch was ok .

Food was ok tastewise, lukewarm as the order was delivered almost 30 minutes late. I got offered some money back by Just Eat but the restaurant rejected that request.

Went for lunch with my wife. We wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time but never managed to. We had the large sharing platter for 2, this was very generous and would easily feed 3 even 4 people. Food is very hearty and freshly prepared. Good selection of vodkas. Prices are very good. Will definitely be back.

Great food!! Would definitely order again. On this occasion the drivers SatNav broke, so our delivery was delayed. However, when speaking to the restaurant they were really helpful, and our poor delivery driver very apologetic.

Very authentic Polish food, suggested by two Polish friends and according to them it was like at home. Personally I enjoyed it a lot, and the servings were huge !! Very reasonable prices and overall taste is amazing ! The atmosphere is really cozy and nice, and the service was great. The only off part was the payment, as they only take cash 😅

First time I went there I was invited to my Polish friend's birthday lunch. That time I fell in love with Autograf's Chicken Schnitzel dish so next time I invited my friend and my husband to go back there. Foods are delicious. Restaurant is nice and cozy. Clean toilet. Lovely decoration. Excellent customer service. Cool Polish music in the background with music video clips on TV screen. Good to know: they only accept cash. I will be back!

Tasty food, well packed, delivered warm and on time, friendly drivers

Our friends brought us here for dinner to enjoy some delicious Polish dishes. He said that he would come here whenever he feels a bit homesick. And it did not disappoint. I had some Red Beetroot soup, as sharers we went for two varieties of Pierogis, and as a main the potato pancakes with creamy mushroom sauce that comes with a side salad. As dessert some had the apple pie with vanilla ice cream and some had another round of their "Warmup tea with orange, cloves, cinnamon and honey". The size of all the dishes were very generous. Autograf is a smaller restaurant but provides the atmosphere that felt like the perfect spot to catch up with dear friends and family over some good meals with a team at site that is very friendly. We will surely come back.

The food is lovely, and the portions very large. My friend had the goulash (different spelling) and it was very tasty. I had the chicken breast and I loved it. I’ was only sad the stuffed peppers were unavailable because they are my favourite, but now I have two favourites.

Good service and lovely staff, food not an authentic Polish cuisine. Not accepting card payment is inconvenient.
