Leila was amazing definitely coming back.

10/10 every time I come here. I’m here 2-4 times a week and happily drive 30 minutes for the food and service. Staff are so kind and service is amazing. Leila served us today and made sure we were seen to and often checked on what we needed throughout our meal. One of my favourite restaurants. Highly recommended

A large restaurant with a very good offer of fine and delicious food. Unfortunately, during dinner a thief stole our purse with money, cards and documents. Be careful where you keep your things❗️ The staff was very polite, they helped us call the police and gave us footage of the theft. We will remember our first day in London for the good dinner and the thief who robbed us in cold blood.

They don’t ask for a tip. Something I find immensely sly with 99% of restaurants who apply a 10-15% gratuity which they say is “optional,” but when you ask them to take it off the bill, they ask, “was there anything wrong with the service?” Which infuriates me because if it’s “optional” why is my right to withdraw it questioned? I never go back to restaurants that challenge me taking off the bill, they don’t deserve my business. While Hala, they are explained my policy to me from their perspective and it aligned. Mark up on the food, don’t coerce money from people as a service. It adds to someone’s social anxiety. Hala has amazing food. I ate lamb shank and it was incredible. Thank you ever so much! Best Turkish restaurant by a mile in U.K. Harringay and Stoke Newington is spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants , HALA is the top destination. Food is absolutely fresh, delicious and abundant, service supreme atmosphere eclectic . Prices very reasonable. If you fancy a good Turkish you won’t go wrong going to HALA

Food was just spectacular! The taste of everything was so well seasoned and cooked. Fresh ingredients and immaculate cuts of meat. Service was spot on, exactly how it should be. They made sure to hover near us so we had everything we needed. Ordered a margarita cocktail and it was STRONG! Also, we got two rounds of Turkish tea on the house. Lovely place and I’ll be back (for the third time) 🤩🤩🤩🤩

As a Turk, we were very happy to find these dishes at a restaurant in London. The homemade mantı, içli köfte, and liver were very good. As in classic Turkish restaurants, yoghurt-based meze and spicy sauce were served with bread before the meal. The lahmacun was a disappointment — we had high expectations. But unfortunately, the dough was soft, the topping was sparse, and the taste was not what we hoped for. The ayran was also quite tasteless. We would have been much happier if the staff had been a bit more friendly. They offered a turkish tea after meal desserts were very nice we had kunafa and rice pudding. We ordered the large portion of the cop shish, but it seemed small to us. The prices were reasonable. We paid £35 per person

My go to for Turkish food in Green lanes. Service is good they’re open til late and food is seasoned well and delicious. Parking available outside usually.

We visited here with my 2 year old and ordered ribs the same night my son got food poisoning and became really unwell. As a mum i am extremely disappointed and definitely wont be back

I haven't been there for a long time, but from now on it's my favorite restaurant in Harringey. The food is super, the chefs are very friendly, the service is very fast, they don't miss even the slightest thing you ask, and they are positive, the food is very delicious, the decor is very nice and clean, I haven't seen such good service and food for a long time, the prices are more affordable than many places, thank you 🙏🪬🧿🙏

Enjoyed a lovely and authentic Turkish breakfast spread at Hala Restaurant on Green Lanes. A perfect start to the day with a satisfying spread of flavorful dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the food truly hit the spot. Don't forget to drink Turkish çay (tea) with the breakfast!

Very small portions in the kebabs and their prices keep going up . I also found them very inflexible with substituting certain items . Won't be returning as so many new restaurants have now opened up nearby . Unhelpful staff !!

I enjoyed the food and vibes. It gets crowded but that's to be expected. The waitress Leila was very nice too. Service was a bit slow at times but that's to be expected. Overall would recommend.

Before going to the restaurant, I called and asked if they made iskender (yes). When we got the answer (yes), we decided to go. While ordering, unfortunately, I learned that they did not have iskender (I said "whatever" and didn't get up), I ordered calamari, after a while, 2 portions of calamari arrived and I did not understand why I did not ask. We paid our bill and left, we will definitely not go again.

Special payday meal...but worth every penny !! we wanted turkish food and decided to head to this area as it's famously abundant, and settled on Hala. seated by the window on a beautiful day, mid-afternoon so not too busy and not too quiet. staff were attentive and kind but i think maybe tired from the heat 😅 who can blame them? the food was absolutely wonderful, we ordered the special platter and it was delicious, with a complimentary salad + lots of variety on the platter itself. we even able to box up our leftovers to take home, too. it's pricey but i wouldn't say unreasonable. a nice treat

The food and meat quality were very poor. The mince meat in the lahmacun was terrible, with a lot of fat and gristle, which made us feel sick. After such a disappointing meal, we've decided not to return. We definitely don’t recommend it.

Nuestros hijos siempre piden comer en Hala los fines de semana, ya que les encanta la comida, así como la atención que reciben del personal. La comida se ve y sabe increíble! El servicio es muy bueno y los tiempos de espera para la comida una vez pedidos no son largos en absoluto. Cuando vamos en grupos más grandes, todos se juntan la comida al mismo tiempo, lo que hace que nuestra experiencia gastronómica sea agradable. Siempre dejamos a Hala satisfecha. La decoración del restaurante es cálida y los baños están limpios y evidentemente bien mantenidos.

I know leaving this review won’t change anything from the restaurant but may help others as reviews can’t be viewed through UberEats or Deliveroo. I have been a loyal customer to Hala for around 20 years, celebrating birthdays, bringing our guests here from America and using Deliveroo/Ubereats for lazy days. Im so sorry to have to say this but, Sadly my loyalty to them has come to an end. I have been let down with the quality of food and lack of acknowledgment to simple requests when ordering food from the Apps too many times now. When ordering food off the Apps to eat at home is where the big let down is. If you’re not there physically to eat at the restaurant food quality and standards are a big let down. Why should I have to call the restaurant every single time to ask for the Turkish bread to be warmed and have butter and flavour on it when eating inside in the restaurant that’s exactly what you would get. If I don’t ask, the bread arrives cold dry and bland, not touched any coals to toast it a little. I have messaged the manager in the past about this and left polite feedback on their social media accounts, never once had a response back and still the problem continues. Why because I’m eating at home do they not bother to give the same standards as when you are in front of them at the restaurant. It comes across lazy and lacking in care for your food just because you are not there in front of them to pull them up if it happened inside the restaurant. The bread is one of the best parts when it is warm and flavoursome just as much as the main meal. Last night was the last straw for me, I ordered one of my favourites, Saksuka from uber Eats, and what I received was literally a tub full of potatoes in the sauce you’d expect but not a single piece of Aubergine or peppers were to be found! It wasn’t Saksuka! If they had ran out of Aubergines then they should have taken it off the order. My wrap was a disaster too, the packaging they put it in is not fit for purpose when I took it out of the paper it literally fell apart into pieces so I was unable to eat it as you should. Why was this not packaged in a box style container to hold it together making it easier to eat like many other restaurants of the same kind. The wrap itself was so thin it was impossible to hold any of the contents and It all fell out and broke up into my plate. My notes were ignored when Id asked for no tomatoes so I had to pick them all out and to make matters worse they had forgotten to put my chilli sauce in so it was pretty boring to eat as I love chilli sauce. My chips were so dry and for almost £6 a portion I’d expect better. I live a 5 minute drive from them so can’t blame it on the food not travelling well. I didnt called them this time to ask about the bread being warmed with a bit of flavour because it can be frustrating to have to do that every time then low and behold it arrived dry, plain cold bread that hadn’t even touched any coals again. Seriously I give up! For what they charge I just expect better, they aren’t cheap! and I expect the same respect for my food as I’d get had i been sitting in the restaurant. I feel defeated and completely let down so have decided I won’t be returning here or ordering from them in the future ever again. Goodbye Hala you used to be my most favourite Restaurant to eat but you guys have lost your touch.

Very disappointed in the service at Hala restaurant. Started to clean the table pushing all dishes to the side. Service was slow and trying to get someone to look at us was a mission.

Went for dinner with my family atmosphere was good, service was not good staff member who was serving us was not looking very happy, we ordered big platter £100+ no lamb doner ask to replace kebab with lamb never happened. Food was overall 👍.

Their Humus Kavurma is amazing. The food is very good and tastes amazing. It’s one of the busiest restaurants in Green Lanes. Avoid going on Saturdays.

I have been to this restaurant many times, always excellent attention, excellent food, today Ferman took very good care of us, I thank him very much.

I have never seen such disgrace in my life, I have been ordering food to my house and eating inside for years, but this time was the end, my friend and I brought our children, thank God the children were with us, the food portions were very small, compared to the prices, they were very little, I passed everything, the service was beyond terrible, the waiter had to beat himself up. He did his best for you. If you continue to employ this kind of young people here, you will lose more customers. People give you money and money is not easy to earn. Nobody comes here to be treated like thieves. Some of your waiters are very good and smiling, but just be aware, some of them will get you into trouble.

Food had no taste we complained they tried to shut us with one free desert we did not touch. paid £56.00 an walked out.

Food is really good but for the portion size I would say slightly overpriced, the mocktails let it down for me, my pina colada was drowned in ice and not creamy like how i normally am used to, it was served in a small glass and at £11.50 l really expected more, same goes for the strawberry mojito again drowned in ice and lime but taste like nothing special. The staff are very friendly and prompt, they are very attentive and helpful.

The food is tasty, but the prices are extremely high! It is absurd. You can pay less than this in central London, in a beautiful quite restaurant. It was also super crowded, pop music is blasting, i was so overwhelmed, and they need more staff!

Dear Hala Team, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent order placed through Deliveroo. Not only was the portion size significantly smaller than expected — which made me feel as though I was being charged more for less — but I was also advised to place a second order in order to receive the missing items. I followed this instruction and placed an additional order, which resulted in an extra £10 spent, only to receive just the starter again with no resolution or sign of the missing food from my original order. This is unacceptable. As a loyal and regular customer of over 10 years, I have always supported your restaurant, but I have noticed a sharp decline in service recently. However, this last experience crossed the line — it felt like I was being taken advantage of. Being charged twice and still not receiving what I paid for is not only poor service; it feels like outright stealing as I ordered sharing platter for 5 and receiving sharing platter for 2-3 as showing in picture. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on how this situation was handled. I trusted your restaurant, but after this experience, I am left extremely disappointed and reconsidering any future orders.

We went there for one thing and one thing only: MANTI. Sadly, it was made very poorly (and it wasn't easy to enjoy this highly doughy version with minced meat smaller than lentil inside) when everyone around is was being served good quality meat kababs either). The proper mantı would have mutch more meat, with a hint of onion, making the taste very distinctive. It's good-looking, though. The taste was disappointing. Sadly.

Friday night Dinner Broken Glass in the salad provided with my meal. It was very painful I found the glass in my mouth. 2 waiters took that piece of glass but didn’t come back to me with feedback. I was also one of the last customers and was treated poorly. They didn’t assist to me. Also, I ordered ayran drink but didn’t arrive had to ask again. I paid the bill and left the restaurant very poor assistance from staff. Highly do not recommend!!!!

El viernes por la noche cena de vidrio roto en la ensalada proporcionada con mi comida. Fue muy doloroso encontrar el vaso en mi boca. 2 camareros tomaron ese pedazo de vidrio, pero no volvieron a mí con comentarios. También fui uno de los últimos clientes y me trataron mal. No me ayudaron. Además, pedí bebida Ayran pero no llegué tuve que preguntar de nuevo. Pagué la cuenta y dejé el restaurante muy poca asistencia del personal. ¡Muy no recomiendo!

Starters were lovely and so was the bread and chilli etc they provide to begin with. Main meal was okay not the best however sadly service was very poor waiter was very stroppy and got annoyed when we asked for the chops to be cooked a little more even though we asked for them to be extra well done to begin with. Not rushing back here

One of the best restaurants in Manor House.

I ordered the ali nazik lamb. The meat was so tender and paired well with the garlicky yogurt and roasted vegetables. As always came with complimentary teas at the end of the meal. The service was a little slow it was towards 9pm when we were seated and the restaurant was still busy so it’s understandable that the waiters had many customers to tend to. I would still recommend this restaurant. AND their ready manti servings are lovely too definitely worth the visit!

Hala did a wonderful job of taking care of me and my family. We asked to book one of their family areas which they graciously accepted. Soon as we arrived, we were given the usual bread but it was hot, soft and seasoned which we could dip in the free cold mezze they gave us along with chilli sauce and tzatziki and salad. Those of us who arrived before others were ravenous and inhaled all this. The rest arrived and we ordered the Hala special platter as well as the platter for 2 along with chips and the seabass dish. I couldn't fault the taste of any of the food put in front of me - absolutely slapped. My only criticism is that they loaded the platters with bread more so than the bulgur or rice and there was no doner in any of the platters which is what I'm used to seeing. This is a shame because with the Hala special coming in at £109 - some doner meat on there with more bulgur and rice would have made it the perfect platter. The presentation was amazing otherwise and everyone was satisfied with their meal. The seabass was crispy, delicious and lightly seasoned and served with buttered vegetables. I would come back 100 times over.

Top Quality Turkish cuisine. Hala has a good selection of grilled dishes to choose from. We selected a grilled lamb platter and a grilled chicken plater both were excellent as was the portion sizes. The salad and breads pre meal were fresh and delicious. The service was attentive. I normally go to one of Hala's rivals on the same road when I go for turkish food who are also excellent. I will say that Hala are probably slightly better because of the options on the menu. See you again soon.

First off. Presentation 10 / 10. Staff 30 / 10. Erkan, Stella, Ali, Alketa & Samet were absolutely UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING. Large, spacious, amazing facilities for anyone with mobility issues. The food - ordered mix Lamb and chicken with rice, turkish pizza, (Chips - we are northern after all), Latte and Turkish tea. WOW. WOW. WOW. Definite must. 3 of us under £100. The best Turkish food spot around Hala offers the best food at the best prices. The food is fresh and packing with flavour along with their deserts. Abbas is the perfect host! He was very attentive to us and made sure that everything was on point.
