Meat is deletions here. Customer service is always on point. We've been served by Samet for the past 6/7 years. Good staff delicious food. Do try their new milk cake. If I could I would eat Turkish food every single day

Horrible staff horrible customer service very bad

All the meat dishes are delicious and the lahmacun tastes local, and as a regular, I eat the trotter soup with pleasure every time I come. But I think the recent economic turmoil has hit me a bit :) The bowl has become smaller, the water is too much, and its content has decreased a bit. But it is definitely my favorite with its delicious food and clean kitchen. 🫶

The choice to come here was made on the spot as we walked by the window, I normally would not have chosen to eat here. I would have missed out! The food was incredible, thoroughly enjoyed everything we chose, one thing to note for anyone coming here, I like spicy food, which most of the options we ended up picking were, but they were more spicy than I was expecting them to be. Not a negative, just would like to point that out in case you have any sensitivities to the heat. It was not overwhelming though, the flavours and variety in tastes was amazing. The staff were great, they were polite and courteous, there's not a fault I could give to the restaurant nor their staff, and I will be recommending Hala to my friends and family.

The best Turkish restaurant in my life.

I had a fantastic experience at Hala restaurant, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Samet. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly elevated the dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with a diverse menu offering a delightful array of flavors. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal with friends or family. I can't wait to return!

This place is special, whenever i attend they treat me like a king. The staff and chefs are all amazing, friendly, polite and caring. They always look after me with a table of choice, literally treating me like a VIP. I mostly have the lentil soup when i'm here, its the best thing on the menu, in my opinion, it s well priced, it comes with bread and salad, Even the brad has herbs and they grace it with the fats from the skewers of meats, its like the butter of 'Gods' the salad is well dressed with pomegranate molasses and sumac accompanying various pickles, prepared with love, the soup itself is herby and flavoursome a real journey, a flavour sensation, i i have never had a bad dish here, and i have dined here a lot, and those with whom i visit, i often introduce, they always return because they see the magic. Best Turkish Lentil soup i have encountered and consumed in london See you soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Not incredible value I think but you do a get a reasonable innings for their small serving. The food is food and the chilli sauce is the HOTTEST in London bar none and I’ve been to many kebab, shawarma and gyro joints! This stuff will blow your head clean off! I can handle and enjoy nuclear hot sauce so all good. If you’re a korma type of person then go easy or you’ll going to suffer brutally! The white sauce is excellent!

Ordered 6 meals, but only received 3. When I called to let them know, they said the driver left with half of my order. They refused to send a replacement or give me a refund and were not very helpful when I called to let them know that half my order was missing. You would expect them to have the courtesy to ensure that drivers leave with complete orders. Poor service, £121 taken for half of my order and left me embarrassed with my 5 guests. Had to go to a local Gorkyuzu instead to feed my guests. Terrible service - would not recommend

Abboss our waiter was excellent, made great recommendations and we particularly enjoyed the Turkish tea! The food was superb, great selection and incredibly tasty. My first time at this restaurant but I will definitely be back!

We were served by Alketa, even though the restaurant was full, she has very helpful.

We ordered a range of dishes for a party of 6. 2 of us are vegetarian and had plenty of delicious options. The starters are quite varied, delicious and copious so it’s worth looking there for options as well as the mains. The dumpling dishes and finely chopped salads are especially great. Spending £33 per person we had a drink each, plenty of starters and plenty of mains and ended up taking takeaway boxes home.

I can see the pictures shared here, but we've never been served meals like this.Either these are their acquaintances or friends, or these meals never come like this.

Overpriced for basic food. I have been going to Hala since it opened when it was 1 shop since it expansion it has lost it atmosphere and quality and now it has completely out priced itself. Find was luke warm at best

One of the top Turkish restaurants in town. A little costly, but worth every penny.

I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants, and Hala could literally be the best one. Their food is super delicious, everything is impeccably clean, the staff are friendly, portion sizes are generous, the sitting area is spacious, and there is complimentary tea! I honestly can’t think of anything they could improve. The only thing is, I’m addicted to their Yogurtlu Paca Corbasi, so I have come here at least once a week :) Please don’t change anything!

Overall good experience but the service charge came to £34, they increased price & took some items off the platter, little disappointing.

Me and my friend come to Hala every couple of weeks because we live in West otherwise we would come more often. Food is always tasty and fresh. Pleasant and professional staff. Despite being busy we never had to wait long. I wish they had another branch in West London.

This place is stunning, the food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Memet is one of the best waiter I ever met and I’m in the hospitality from 20 years . Come to try the Lamb , it’s spectacular 🙏🙏🙏🙏

First timer for Hala (normally a Gokyuzu fan but thought I’ll try something new) and it won’t be my last time, their food were awesome, liked the vibes of the restaurant as well. Ordered a starter (salad dish on the house), main and dessert (my fav part….yummmmmmy).

Good food and service can't go wrong

Tasty fresh Turskish food and adequate portions make it great value for your money. Service was brilliant once we were attended to.

Food was above average and very fresh. I would happily go back again, service was ok apart from spoons not being provided for the sauce(we had to request them) atmosphere wasn’t much since we arrived mid afternoon which is expected.

It's a lovely place to eat but there is always a but, the service is not good they try to rush 4 people to eat in a rush , and it's not good. The food is good I mean really good the atmosphere could lower the music volume down a bit and they try to pack all the customers like all together we could not change tables and there were a lot of them free all this as around 23:00 on Wednesday January

Attention Management: This place is no good at all without SAMET and ALI, top two servers. Excellent at what they do. If they are not working do not go.

Emir- wgreat service all the time, and standards are always high never any problems or mistakes . Amazing

Came with my family and the hostess was super kind to help with the baby high seat. Sabri did a great job with service always seeing to our needs without us having to wait to call him over 👌 EMIR went above and beyond even warmed the babu food for our toddler as she wouldn't eat the restaurant food. In my opinion, the fries are the only thing that need improvement.

I have been in Hala restaurant for two years, and I have never been any restaurant like this. Specially Emir, he is really friendly and nice waiter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Horrible service! Absolutely appalled with our experience! Me and a friend went in yesterday and when asked where we want to sit, asked if we could sit in a booth so she could lay down her son who was sleeping at the time. We were told very bluntly “no” even though the place was practically empty and we could see multiple available booths right in front of us, still we weren’t even offered an explanation which would have been the polite thing to do. We then simply asked why couldn’t we just sit in a booth and was told a meeting was taking place there, however there were many places we could have sat but the answer was still no. Obviously, we were not happy and this is when the waiter then very aggressively asked my friend why SHE was being aggressive!!! It was the rudest and most bizarre thing I have ever experienced from any wait staff and was completely out of the blue. He got so heated and angry so quickly that another staff member intervened and he stormed off to the back, to calm himself down I presume. Bearing in mind this is a grown man displaying this energy towards two women, one holding a sleeping baby!!! Absolutely disgusting. What was even more disturbing was the fact that we didn’t receive any type of apology or acknowledgment from the other staff about what had happened! Just shameful! Needless to say we took our business and money elsewhere to one of the MANY Turkish restaurants next door who were willing to treat their customers with RESPECT. As a Green Lanes resident I will never spend my money in Hala again and will encourage others to do the same…unless they like being threatened that is.

Extremely bad service from Ali the server, Simply asked to either fix our table & move us to a new one as the table wobbles & had spilt my drink plus making it extremely awkward to eat food as it kept moving! He also forgot things I had requested several times & the service is just awful! The food is VERY expensive & not the best, much better Turkish food available further up Green Lanes or Wood Green such as Kervan, Umit2000 or Antepellier

Ordered online. Food was still warm enough when I got it, which was great but the soup was too salty. Gozleme tasted too oily and burnt. Main also wasn’t great. The food quality wasn’t great considered it is quite pricey

The lively youthful vibe and cute Instagrammable Photo Booth spots added to the fun atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the trilece dessert – absolutely irresistible! I could eat all the cakes they had. 😂😂🤭

Perfect all round restaurant! They offer complimentary bread, salad and accompaniments to begin with which is a lot more than other places offer. The food is served at a good pace, cooked well and good portion sizes. The service is great. The look and vibes of the restaurant matches the quality of the food. Its very picturesque but also warm and comforting. It’s a hidden rarity to finding an all round restaurant in 2024. I’ve visited a few times with friends and families for different occasions and have not been disappointed!

We had the daily stew; green beans with lamb. I don't usually buy stews from restaurants as I feel it never tastes as good as home made. However, both the stew and bulgur rice tasted so good I phoned the restaurant and thanked the chef! Also , the staff were so polite and kind. I am definitely regular from now on. This is by far the best turkish restaurant I have tried in the UK so far. The staff were extremely kind, they advised us on what suits.the family. The food was perfect ( good portion, taste like Istanbul and freash ) the atmosphere was friendly and the restaurant in general was clean and made us feel like home. They offered complementary turkish tea in the end. The prices are logical compared to the quality provided. Parking: paid in the street. Generally speaking....very recommended.
