Shampan 3 Welling in Bexley

Absolutely lovely, tried Shampan for the first time for date night after hearing rave reviews and it did not disappoint int he slightest. Went with the recommendation from the staff. It was a gamble as I would stick to what I know but had the Lamb Sali, flavours and spices were amazing, the staff especially Abdur were very accommodating and very welcoming. We have definitely found our new Indian Restaurant. Look forward to going back.

Another excellent meal at SHAMPAN today. Thank you Abdur for your first class service and delicious food. It took a long time to find the best Indian Restaurant but we certainly did when we discovered this one. Never disappoint ed.

Came out here for the first time from recommendations from friends. It’s was my birthday and so they went to the trouble to put on some lovely music and sing to me. The also gave us complementary drinks to celebrate my night… the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Shout out to Abdur x

First time last night, seeked out Shampan because of a recommendation and it didn't disappoint. Best Indian we've had in a long time. Each dish had it's own flavours unlike some restaurants where all the dishes seem to have the same base sauce. Will definitely be returning. Recommend you book first as can get busy, prices were about the same as most Indian restaurants, service was excellent ( courteous but not intrusive) all in all a brilliant night.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing and the staff is the best and very welcoming on arrival and this is myself and my partner favourite eat out place and Apu service was amazing. Highly recommend eating out here.

Fabulous restaurant, it’s a hidden gem, if this was in central London it would be a tourist destination. Rich food with amazing flavour, the chefs have won numerous curry awards.

Great food and lovely venue. Recommended by a friend who had been to the one in Bromley but this one did not disappoint. Group of 8 served quickly and professionally. One of the best curry houses in the area.

This has got to be the best Indian food I have eaten (and I’ve tried a few). On top of this magnificent cuisine, the service is second to none as well. Our waiter Abdur really enhanced our experience. Amazing on every level 👌🏼

First time visiting this restaurant. I had the creamy coconut Kerela style Tofu curry with coconut rice. Was really delicious. Large pieces of succulent Tofu in a delicious sauce. Coconut flavour wasn’t too sweet at all. 👍🏼 So many Asian and Indian restaurants serve dehydrated tofu which is really horrible and bears no resemblance to proper tofu, so well done to Shampan.

We had a lovely family meal, the food was amazing, generous portions, and the staff are extremely friendly. We had a lovely social circular table for our group which was great. Would recommend!

Another fantastic night at Shampan with superb service from Abdur and the team We had Salmon Tikka and Prawn Puri for starters followed by Garlic chicken, Spesh rice, Saga loo and G Nan. Lovely flavours and more than enough for 2. 😋😉

Gem of an Indian restaurant in Falconwood - probably the best in the area in my opinion. The food is authentic and full of flavour. The waiters are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting!

Just wow. We was recommended this place and I didn’t disappoint. From the staff to the food and cocktails everything was spot on. The cocktails were just stunning. It isn’t a surprise with the amount of awards they have on the wall in the restaurant because the food was exceptional along with the service and drinks. Massive thank you to everyone for last night we will be seeing yous again soon.

Such a fantastic restaurant. We visit here fairly regularly, usually for the Sunday buffet and we always have a brilliant time. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Abdur, who even brought us over a complimentary drink after our meal.

Great food. Shame of it, the poppadoms tasted like after shave. Which was the only down side.

Almost everything was excellent. One small issue… the air conditioning seems to have a perfume emission which my wife and I found rather overpowering. The odour clung to my wife’s jacket and was still there the next day!

Apu was our waiter and what a lovely guy so polite and the food was out of this world 2nd time here and gets better each time

We came to Shampan for their Sunday Buffet Lunch. There was 15 of us. They were extremely accommodating for a large group, especially with lots of children. Great food and great service. They even brought out pudding and played happy birthday as we were celebrating a 50th. We were served by Abdur, he was just great. Would definitely recommend.

A really relaxed restaurant with attentive but non-intrusive polite staff. The food was a cut above similar restaurants I have used in the area and prices are good. Main downside is parking it is road only and not easy.

First time trying this restaurant. Food arrived on time and was piping hot, which makes a change for delivery. Food was fabulous. So full of flavour and a decent amount of chicken. Will be back.

I can highly recommend Shampan, Welling. It used to be our local curry house and then we moved 50 miles away. But, for special occasions, ie. My wife’s birthday; it’s worth the trip back. The food is top notch and Abour, Noyon and Nabil gave us both 5 star service throughout the meal. I can’t praise this establishment enough.

Best Indian meal for a long time. First time visit but would definitely return. Great service and the smartest dressed waiters.

I have had the buffet on a Sunday a few times now and if I’m honest the selection of dishes wasn’t up to its usual standard. The food was nice and we all enjoyed it but I don’t think the selection was that good. The price was increased to £21.60 per head too and you didn’t even get a free popadom thrown in, you had to pay extra for those. It was extremely busy in there as well, which was a bit off putting when going to get your food. I will definitely go back again, because like I said, the food is normally outstanding and good value for money. I just won’t be rushing back on a Father’s Day/mother’s day.

Apu was a lovely server, we went as a birthday celebration. He was really helpful with checking with the chef for my dairy intolerance. Food was amazing!

The Shampan has it all. A great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, but above all outstanding cuisine. We were greeted and served by Abdur and his colleagues, who were very welcoming and happy to chat with customers. The food was exceedingly good and arrived promptly. The menu was varied and many of the Chef specialties are very interesting. However, if you are looking for traditional dishes, they're well represented. Both my wife and I really enjoyed are meal and are already planning to come again soon with friends and family.

An absolutely lovely Sunday buffet lunch. Excellent choice of dishes and flavours. Attentive pleasant smartly dressed staff. A must go to for Indian food in Welling.

Horrible i ordered take away lamb bhuna and kheema naan the lamb was overcooked and only onion and colour with loads of sugar if restaurant should not namenon indian dishes which is an injustice to the dish must re name your dish as sweet lamb with onio and sweet kheema naan too. Wasted our time and hunger went in bin.

Such a wonderful experience coming here today, the dishes were beautifully crafted, taste sensations. Service was great and unhurried. One of the best Indian meals we’ve had and we really have eaten at many places. Thank you to the chef and all of the staff who made me and my son feel so very welcome.

Lovely place to celebrate a birthday. The food is exceptional, really tasty, well presented and great portions. The restaurant itself is beautiful and modern. Become far too expensive… a meal for one in excess of £40.00 because you insist on using Uber Eats.. I ordered exactly the same meal from Saggor, & delivered for £24.00. I think you guys need to give your heads a wobble!

Best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The food was varied and delicious with descriptions on the menu that helped us choose dishes we had never tried before. The service couldn't be faulted and there were some delightful, surprising touches. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. All in all a great experience. It took us 40 minutes to get there but was well worth it. I hope to return soon.

Came for a meal with family for a birthday, booked online and was seated very quickly. Food was fantastic and the service was spot on. Very friendly, offering us more drinks, just generally a very nice atmosphere. Abdur was a top man, attentive and made us feel welcome. I have been here a couple times and will continue to return and would recommend to others.

The spot is great for a special occasion. Been here for my dad’s 60th surprise meal and again for my 29th! The service is always sublime and the food is top tier! Abdur is incredible and made my birthday extra special, absolutely cannot fault him!

Took my wife here for Valentine’s Day, we have been here a few times before and it has always been great. Service is always great food has always been great. I would say you probably pay a little more than other Indian restaurants but I don’t mind that as you get lovely food and great service. Thank you all in Shampan welling.

Food delicious Staff impeccably dressed, extremely smart and extremely polite and welcoming.watched them welcome everyone who came into restaurant, very friendly but on a professional level Door slammed loudly every time someone came in and out. There was a member of staff sometimes on the door to stop this happen, but not always. We sat not far from door so noticed it.

Abdur is so amazing at front of house. The best curry I’ve had in a very long time. Really fresh flavours and open for 12- 14:00 in the afternoon. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon.
