In response to the restaurant's reply - Your response shows a blatant disregard for your customers. Despite being in business for so long, your lack of growth (just ONE small space since 1983!? no expansion at all!?) only highlights your incompetence and condescension. Rather than addressing your shortcomings with dignity and striving to improve, you've chosen to dismiss legitimate feedback. As for my order: Matar Paneer was overly sweet, lacking in both flavor and spice. Even something as simple as Pulao Rice shouldn’t be tainted with artificial, harmful, and toxic colors like green, orange, and red. The Garlic Mushroom was equally disappointing—bland and utterly devoid of spice or flavor. Whether you’ve been around since 1983 or the 1800s, it means nothing if your attitude and commitment to improvement are so lacking. Also, good to know you atleast picked up on 'Karen' behaviour if not the art of cooking what you claim to be 'authentic Indian food'!!

I made I mistake on my order in regards to mint sauce phone restaurant and it was my fault but they went out there way to deliver the mint sauce x thank you 🙏 will definitely order from you again x

The atmosphere got better as it got busier. No alcohol license, so bring your own. Soft drinks £2.50 glass of flat lemonade. The food was nice. Naan bread was superb.

Excellent meal - warm welcome when we entered, great explanation of the dishes, and they were happy to make something for us (fish pakoras) not on the menu. The food was fresh and very flavorful. Lovely dinner, can’t wait to go back.

I really fancied Indian food but, it's been pretty warm today so I got 4 smaller dishes. Loved every mouthful. Seriously. Really tasty & delivered 20 minutes early. What a touch?!! Plus, there's enough for 2 people. I can't wait to try their mains! Will definitely use Belvedere Tandoori again. Highly recommended.

Good tasty food, but the Garlic Naan bread was disappointing.

We stumbled across this restaurant and due to its 5* hygiene rating we thought we would give it a go! It has a bring your own alcohol policy which should make it a cheap evening out! The food was lovely, service was great, everyone was pleasant however, the experience was slightly ruined by the bill. I had ordered a tandoori mixed grill which has always (in other restaurants) come with a small side salad - I asked if it came with any salad and he said No but he could provide some... so I asked for a small bit of lettuce. To be fair he provided exactly what I asked for - a small plate of Shredded lettuce. So when I received the bill to see we had been charged £4.45 for it, I nearly fell through the floor! I couldn't complain as maybe it was my fault for not asking the price at the time, but I just thought it was extremely over priced for what was around 20p worth of lettuce. Other than that, it was great but whatever you do, don't ask for lettuce!

Came here on a Monday so quiet for a sit down meal. Lovely and tasty food. Staff very attentive and loved the rotis. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own.

Ordered a takeaway, albeit waited over an hour but OMG so worth it, food is amazing, first time trying this curry house as recommended by a work colleague. All day long best curry ever had & I’ve tried a few!! Highly recommend. Good value for too.

Was sent an offer of 40% off Belvedere tandoori if I ordered from them . But when I paid the 40% did not come off bill so I paid full price . I am very shocked. At this . I will not trust an offer like this ever again , very disappointing and no one to contact to ask about this

Food was great, delivery was great too.

main courses very good but starters poor. Samosas smaii and much spicier than other restaurants and did not suit my wife.. Onion bhaji big but stodgy not crispy and I would guess old. Neither starter had salad which I would have expected for a starter and nearly £5 a portion.

Restaurant located in Nuxley village, Belvedere with street parking outside. Super friendly owner and staff. Good to see the restaurant completely full pre Christmas. Extensive menu of traditional dishes all served well spiced to high standard. Beware the Chicken Shaklish is enormous (and very good). Remember no alcohol served but you can take your own and restaurant provides glasses/corkscrews etc. great little local Indian restaurant.

Placed the order then didn’t get any updates. It took two calls to the restaurant. I appreciate its a Saturday and it’s busy but we were delayed by a long margin whilst geographically not being that very far away.

The delivery driver didn't even get out the car and knock my door then took it back and then the 2nd time he knocked on the door was not impressed

After placing an online order via Just Eat, I received the wrong dish after two hours of waiting. Though I called to inform them of the mistake, it still took another half hour for the correct dish to arrive. Unfortunately, the dish was still incorrect as it came with the wrong rice, and the lamb chops were of poor quality.

The food is really nice, best Indian I’ve had outside of east London. Delivery a little long but expect that is at peak times.

The food is lovely here. Staff are great too, really friendly and helpful. Its not licensed so its a BYO and no corkage charged.

The internet reviews are a place for people to vent anger, and I’ve done it, most of us have. But I cannot express how much you need to try this place! Probably the best Indian take away I’ve had this side of COVID, only lost a star because they forgot my Lime pickle…

Great little curry house, I've eaten a lot of curries from a lot of restaurants and this was one of my favourites yet! The staff are super friendly and attentive. This place doesn't sell alcohol, but are happy for you to bring your own.

Really nice food without the next morning runs

Updated 060723. SIX STARS! Ordered a takeaway for 3 people delivered. Phone was answered promptly by friendly and helpful manager, order and payment taken very quickly and delivery time scheduled. Delivered bang on time by one of the waiters. we had ordered lots of dishes and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS PERFECT & DELICIOUS. It's a great place to eat in as well - but *BOOK!* IT GETS BUSY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY nights. NB. Not licensed to sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own and why not. Plenty of places to buy booze in Nuxley Road, try Sainsbury's or Co-Op (turn right out of restaurant, three minutes walk on right, they have plenty of drink in chiller cabinets).

Incredible Indian at a great price! Plenty for two or more servings. Wish I was still within their delivery zone. The saag paneer was especially good.

Food was lovely, first time ordering from here was skeptical. Food was piping hot and tasted delicious I am very fussy too! Would be nice for a bit more coconut flavour in korma but that’s just personal preference really! Takeaway tins were full to brim and popadom was definitely fresh! Also the naan was perfectly cooked 5***** would recommend to everyone . Lovely meal for a great price would like to eat in here one day!

Really good food this evening service very friendly a most enjoyable meal, they don't serve alcohol so just bring your own there's a shop opposite, the restaurant will supply glasses and bottle openers etc. and do not charge corkage.if your walking ,dropped or by friends or a cab pop into the Royal Standard for a pre meal drink or two.
