We dined at Zufa today, and while the food itself was enjoyable, our overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor customer service.
The issue arose when we were charged £6 for extra sauces, something quite unusual for a Lebanese restaurant. Typically, bread and sauces are served generously, but in this case, despite being a table of four, we were only given one portion. When we inquired about this charge, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive, which was disappointing.
To make matters worse, when we politely asked for the service charge to be removed due to the poor handling of the situation, the manager reacted unprofessionally, claiming that we were "attacking" her, something that was entirely untrue and frankly an overreaction.
It’s a shame because the food was good, but the unwelcoming attitude of the manager left a bad taste in our mouths. A restaurant experience is about more than just food, and unfortunately, Zufa fell short in that regard.
Our favourite pub always friendly and great sense of community. We booked for the BBQ. The food was delicious we had the chicken gyros and monkfish snd chorizo gyros both cooked to perfection.
Absolutely love Lugana. The staff, the food, everything is just fantastic. Went today with my family for a Sunday lunch and it was superb. Lugana never disappoints. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out or a Sunday lunch. It’s fantastic!
My partner and I visited the market on a Sunday, around lunch time.
There was no queue, however, on different occasions I've seen a large queue, as people are crazy about this place.
It's delicious.
We tried the pizza portafolio. It's as cheap as a fiver, and with a delicious dough, cheese and tomato sauce.
Be careful as the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese are burning hot (not spicy), so make sure to seat somewhere and eat it carefully.
You'll love it.
Staff (lady at the till) wad very friendly and welcoming.

Wow a drop from 5 to 3 stars. Broken heart. £38/ pint for an average international beer just because it's 15% ABV with bananas. Stop doing this, it's wrong and against what you stand for. Asked to leave table for party that never turned up. Had to stand next to empty table as result. 30 minutes later numerous empty tables and too scared sit there for fear of being asked to leave. How rude. This is rather rubbish. What went wrong? This is not what Beer Merchants does, you're better than this.
