Great food very tasty, they were very kind to give me some free poppadoms and Vegetable curry. I haven't had an Indian takeaway for a while but always use this restaurant. Highly recommend A+++

Some parts of the meal were v good some poor, f.ex. the meat in some meals was tough, the chickpeas uninteresting but the okra good.

Amazing food, cooked to perfection. Staff are amazing especially the top guy Kay. Portion sizes are perfect and left feeling nicely full. I would recommend Diwana as they are so attentive and cannot do enough for you. We love our little tipple and chocolate at the end of our meal, it's those nice little touches that makes us go back every time!

We passed by after shopping on Saturday afternoon and thought we'd give it a try. We received a warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff. Food was very good. Lots of choice and customised dishes Would recommend!

Amazing place. Went here for my mates birthday, incredible service, staff go above and beyond for you. Food is out of this world, a huge range of choices to choses from and taste so incredible. Prices are so cheap compared to anywhere else you definitely get your moneys worth too as the portions are an amazing size. Could not recommend enough. Best curry place by far.

The food is okay but the fat oldie guy with specs at the counter doesn't have the courtesy to talk. Being an asian still treats other asians as “not their customers”. Never going back to this place nor recommend anyone to this place.

wonderful food, nice and hot, perfect!

Initially the service was lovely and they were good with the two children in our group. Some of the orders were wrong or arrived late but not in a big way. A large coke was delivered instead of a small and our starters arrived 15 minutes after our mains and only after we asked for them. The food was really good except for a hair in one portion of pilau rice and a piece of particularly burnt chicken in a tikka masala. Overall the food was good. However we will not be returning due to the fact that they rushed us towards the end of our meal because the next table was waiting. It is not our fault that they overbooked their restaurant and didn't allow enough time for a family meal. We also asked for two separate bills. One for poppadoms and drinks and one for food. We were looking to take up their 30% off food offer and had brought enough cash to cover the food. We were told we couldn't pay card for a separate bill and would only receive the discount on food if we paid cash for both bills. I don't appreciate being put on the spot and I don't appreciate being treated that way.

Ok madras wasn’t particularly spiced and the garlic naan was poor. Did not seem fresh. Very small portion size.

I have had a meal at the Diwana before, but not a takeaway. Unfortunately the salmon starter that I ordered was so over seasoned (salty) I could only mange two mouthfuls. The rest of the food was nice and the chicken tikka was delicious. The whole meal was just warm, and not as hot as expected, you don’t expect to put your food in the microwave to heat it up. Unfortunately I am unlikely to order from there again

Popped in for a Sunday buffet, the food wasn’t fantastic, but there was a fair spread of choice which was positive. Cokes were £4.50 which I thought was rather over priced. Atmosphere was nice and the venue was clean.

Absolutely fantastic food! Quick service! Chil atmosphere. Icing on the cake is that you are offered a complimentary shot of what ever alcohol you desire. Definitely recommend a visit.

Takeaway tonight. This was always our regular takeaway but we'd stopped takeaways for various reasons. First time in over a year, still a great curry - prawn puri, brinjal, garlic chicken, lamb methi all excellent.

I had high hopes for this place due to its stellar ratings, but unfortunately, my recent experience was a huge disappointment. The food tasted old and off, leaving me with a very upset stomach afterward. To make matters worse, I found hair on my poppadom. It's alarming that they are serving expired or poorly prepared food. This experience has left me with serious doubts about the quality and hygiene standards of this establishment.

Lamb chops and curry were both tasty as always. As they are every week when we order. However tonight’s portion of lamb chops seemed a lot smaller in size. We usually get 4 medium sized chops in a portion but tonight’s portion were so small and very thin. At least 2 of the chops out of the 8 were so tiny and didn’t even look like chops.

Well established curry house of over 36 years. Service and quality of food has not changed. Reasonable prices still maintained despite cost of living. Thank you we will be back as food was exceptional.

Just a shame that the driver was so rude to me on the phone

Been coming here a few years now for the Sunday buffet and I was most disappointed today. The food was OK, its been more tender in the past but it was OK. After loading our plates with different dishes we sat down to eat. On clearing our plates we opted to rest a short while before trying further dishes. However the waiter asked "are you done" and collected the plates. I thought it was a buffet and could go up more than once! No offer of a desert menu. In all, just 35 minutes in the restaurant. Happy 37 yearsanniversary to us! Like I said, not the best experience especially as there was only 2 other couples at the 18.30 reservation. We will be back no doubt but not before trying the many other Indian restaurants in the same street.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant on a couple of occasions. The food has flavour and is tasty, but often arrives cold. Especially fish dishes - this really should be improved.

We were here last night. Friendly place. The waiter showed us around the menu, very knowledgeable. Food okay, the lamb in my dish was tough. All the other food was good. Very good value for money in a banquet night. 2 dinners and 4 beers for under £60. I will return.

Not the best. Were told if we didnt order mains at the same time as the starters we would have to wait an hour for the mains to come. The restaurant was more than half empty and they were prioritising

We made our order at 7.15pm and it arrived after 9pm (so just over 2 hours after we placed the order). Tried calling the restaurant multiple times but the number was constantly busy or off the hook. The delivery guy was lovely and apologetic when our order did finally. Food arrived piping hot which was a good start! Food was delicious and very tasty. Will order again but maybe collect next time when we order on a busy Saturday evening.

Best chicken rogan I've had in years from any restaurant actual flavour instead of being bland my new Indian restaurant meal always comes with salad mint sauce and chutney has an extra aswell
