The Bank Restaurant in Bromley

I went there 2 days ago and then today because the lamb was that good.. I’ve been to more than a few restaurants and most of the starred Michelin in London and I can safely say that the lamb here was amongst the best I’ve ever had…. Aside from that the starters where fantastic, the service was polite and efficient the cocktails are well Above average….. Excellent all round. Well done

Went last night for a 13th birthday as a table of ten.. quality food, amazing staff, this restaurant goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with everything… catered well for the kids and just overall an amazing atmosphere! To the young waitress serving us you are amazing at what you do thanks for looking after us.. boys had amazing time flipping skewers on the fire grill!! Thanks again’

Had a great night last month , lovely food , all staff couldn’t do enough for you , our main waitress was Frankie who was absolutely brilliant, warm friendly and a credit to the place ! Food was spot on , even someone who wasn’t a fan of Turkish food was blown away , great the chefs get involved at the end of the night as you can show your appreciation. Entertainment was great too with the singer and belly dancer. Shame it didn’t go on later with the music as people seem to leave to go on elsewhere possibly but we were up dancing until the end , maybe a designated dance floor area would work as we were just dancing around our table but all in all highly recommend this restaurant

The best for a bottomless hands down. Frankie looked after us from start to finish. Not many bottomless leaves the bottle on the table. Can't recommend enough

Fantastic night! Food was spot on! The singer was just amazing and really made the night fun! I've never danced at a restaurant before. We went with another couple who had invited us and we will defantly be going back!

Shame about the delivery service and the subsequent customer service. The food ended up being 45 minutes later than advised with no communication. At one point the phone number stated that the restaurant was closed. I then had to travel down to the restaurant to find out what was happening. Another person was in there at the same time complaining about the same issue. The person talked to us was basically smirking and not at all apologetic or helpful. It generally felt like he was not truthful about closing the phone lines except more than 1 person was there at the same time. It was all blamed on the restaurant being busy but it looked half full and would have been fine if they had answered the phone.

Food is great. But do not use delivery service it is utterly unreliable. If you can’t drive to pick it up yourself don’t bother. They do not answer the phones and you are just left in limbo.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants we've been to. The food is cooked to perfection, so tasty and decent portions including extras including flatbread and salad. The staff are professional with great customer service and a big thank you to Frankie who was brilliant and a lovely waitress, so attentive and a credit to the restaurant. We will most definitely be visiting again, hopefully very soon as we can't wait to try something different as all the food looked just as good as ours was!

Well what can I say. What an utterly funtastical night. My friends took me there as a surprise for my birthday last night. All the lovely servers were just amazing. So friendly and attentive, even though they were so busy. The food was so good too. The live music was ace- Craig Neil has a great voice and is a brilliant entertainer. Another surprise was Crystal, the belly dancer. My husband got up and had a little dance with her! Such good fun. What a fabulous night. We will definitely be back!

A friend organised dinner here for New Year’s Eve. Both the food and entertainment was great. The food was tasty and prompt service, the waiters were attentive, and the singer Craig Neil, and the belly dancer, Crystal I think her name was were both fab. Would really recommend it if you’re looking for some tasty food and lively entertainment. Considering the restaurant was packed full, they did a great job getting all the meals out so quickly. Credit to the kitchen and waiting staff.

We went for a meal at the banks restaurant and it was incredible. The service by Courtney was amazing, a lovely women who had great understanding of her food and drinks and was able to recommend the best dishes. It was good prices for tasty food so 10/10. Definitely going back.

Decided to go for dinner the other day with my girlfriend. Was served by Courtney. Absolutely fabulous service couldn’t recommend more absolute credit to the company, truly made our evening the food was lovely but the service was truly out of this world, will be visiting again.

Our Christmas girly lunch, which turned very sour!! We were so excited and looking forward to it. We were rushed to drink up and leave when the 2 hours was up!!!! The starter took 15 mins to arrive. The main food was warm and the service was of ‘coffee shop style’ delivery. The waitress kept rushing us to drink up. I asked her to share my bottle of Prosecco , at the end, with my friends as I couldn’t finish the bottle and she said NO and took the bottle away!!!! The cocktail jug drink was watered down and we felt cheated of what was meant to be a good Xmas girly lunch. We found the whole service very aggressive and off. We tried to talk to The Manager but he was arrogant and dismissive and walked away half way through the conversation with him. What an incredible rude man he is!! DONT go to this little kebab shop (effectively that is how it’s run ) .

Absolutely loved my time at the bank. I visited with my partner and was served by Aniya I believe her name was. The food was amazing, drinks selection was good. Overall it was a lovely experience and will definitely be returning x

We booked a meal at 5:45 and were told after 90 minutes that our table was needed. We were not advised at the time of booking that we would need to leave the venue by a certain time. We were advised by one of the waitresses to try Chapter 1 restaurant. Found this extremely rude at first, however Best advice we could have received; wonderful evening. Thank you

Visited recently and had an amazing experience, the service was quick and efficient. The food was amazing and I have absolutely no complaints. All staff made me feel comfortable and at home and I think this is my new favourite restaurant! The food was great, well seasoned and my server was so sweet and helpful, I think her name was Inya or Aniya. Regardless, keep doing what you're doing and I'll be visiting many more times!

Early Friday outing before the entertainment started, party of 4. Food was very good, staff great very friendly and attentive. We could only get an early sitting as fully booked, and we tried booking days ago.

As a Turkish guy who is originally from Gaziantep (where the best kebabs are originated!), I can safely say that The Bank restaurant pffers the best quality and delicious kebabs in London. I had lamb shish and Adana Kebab and they were spectacular. The service is fast and the presentation is great. I strongly recommend this place

I booked The Bank Restaurant's private function room for my husband's 60th Birthday. The food was fabulous, the bar attender we had upstairs was on-point when it came to needing anything. The waitresses were extremely professional too. I am looking at the dates as we speak to book again. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT THE BANK RESTAURANT.

A thoroughly enjoyable Saturday evening was had at The Bank. The food an service was excellent, the gentleman singing was brilliant and had the whole restaurant singing and dancing, and the bellydancer was very entertaining. A great night had by the 6 of us in our party. Thank you.

Such a great, family-friendly restaurant that had wonderful staff and reasonably-priced delicious food

Delicious food and friendly staff, but not suitable for people with allergies. Went for dinner and informed the waitress I was dairy intolerant, she confirmed she understood and said she’d double check my meal is suitable once I’ve placed my order. The menu had allergen labelling. I placed my order and she mentioned she’d also ask for no butter on the bread, further indicating she understood. After 5 minutes a second waiter appeared and said I couldn’t have part of my meal because it contained egg, so I clarified egg is not dairy and it is only milk products I cannot have. She said she’d inform the chef. Another 5 minutes later she returned again and told me I couldn’t have the bulgar or white rice because they’re cooked in butter, so changed my side to chips. The menu must be out of date or the waiter confused because the menu does not indicate dairy next to the rice sides. 5 minutes after that she returned a third time, asked me to repeat my full order, checked it on the computer screen and confirmed it was safe to eat. Halfway through my meal I began having a severe reaction that lasted over 24 hours, indicating a lot of dairy was present in the meal. I will not be returning/recommending as I no longer have confidence they understand how to manage allergies/intolerances. If you have no allergies then the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and nice food.

Well where do I start. Manager was a first class Guy, making sure everything was ok. Waitressing was top class, friendly and fun. The food was outstanding as usual and our four friends who joined as were very impressed indeed. The entertainment was fantastic and the restaurant was rocking by the end of the night with a really good singer, and then a belly dancer. And even the chef’s were dancing in the kitchen. The best night we have all had for a long time. Will definitely be back, and thank you to the manager for the follow up phone call. Please give our thanks to all the staff.

Was recommended here from a friend, a little further then I would have like to travelled, however defo worth the drive! The food was amazing, plenty of food on the platters and such reasonable prices. Cocktails were just as good, £10 for a pina colado/ a big glass! I have already set a date to see the entertainment on my next visit and I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff here are very attentive and you are greeted with a friendly face from entering. Keep up the fab work guys.

Had dinner with friends last evening. Booked table originally for 4, later gave them a call to make it 5 with no issues whatsoever. Polite and very attentive service. Had the cold and hot mezes- nice variety. Everyone was pleased with their main food choices- both vegetarian and meat, complications to the chefs. Did not tried their coctails, had wine instead, but looked very different and interesting. Did not have baklava available on the night, slightly disappointing. Did try the rice pudding and it was 👌Will be back soon for sure.

Theres only a handful restaurants left like this in the country. Honestly cannot find anything negative to say and try to be as honest as i can be. it is a wonderful place from it’s delicious food to its environment to its amazing staff. Wonderful restaurant.

If you want a cheeky cheesy full of fun night out with friends, or better still celebrate a friends birthday - this the place! Good old fashion live music and let your hair down. Some of The waitresses can be stern and abrupt but if you ignore them. You will have a good time. Also try the rainbow cocktail- impressive!🌈

Clean environment which is always important at a food business. The young lady manager works tirelessly to accommodate all the customers and does a good job; almost serving the whole restaurant single handed. Food never disappoints! Cocktails a bit on the weak side but always will recommend Bank for nice Turkish food that's delicious and comes in big portions.

Best Turkish Restaurant in town!

Great lunch menu, quick service and tasty food. Medium to large portions.

Booked for a big group in advanced. Mains were served 2.5hours after starters. Paid £28/person but platter was so small and manager had to take out pieces from our platters WHILE eating to distribute to other table. Photo good for 8? Credits to the very attentive waiters however. I mentioned i was to edit it as I found it very inappropriate for the manager to interrupt our lovely celebration and instead of addressing our concern started a confrontation in front of all the group to call out review which was very inappropriate when he could’ve politely asked our concerns or just answered my question from the beginning, thus this review. Obviously only concern of ratings and not customer experience. Just to mention only 2 came late and 1 went home as it was 2.5hrs wait for mains even when we gave them the go signal to serve them already. The platter on picture was shared by 8 of us on the table as they said it was for 4 but no addition was given but instead pieces were taken out. Appreciate you recognizing the NHS. We appreciate your hard work and recognize the struggles in the business as well however I’m just being factual with my review which is only fair.

Lovely food, well cooked and seasoned. Evie and other staff were on hand to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything else. Shame we missed missed the entertainment which is meant to be really good.

Delicious food and very friendly and attentive staff. The singer was so good and entertaining but we were sat right by the speaker and could not hear eachother speaking at our table at all so left sooner than we would have liked.

My second visit the first time a year ago we went for the bottomless brunch which was brilliant. Last night we went for the evening for my birthday treat from my gorgeous daughter and I must honestly say had one of the best nights ever. The food was delicious and the cocktails were very moreish! The live singer Craig was so good at getting people in the mood and up dancing and such a lovely man giving all of us who were celebrating birthdays a special mention. All of the staff there are so welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond in looking after you. Izzy the waiter such a nice and funny guy. Evie one of the waitresses there is so friendly and smiley was lovely chatting with her. The belly dancer was brilliant I got up and had a little dance lesson with her, can't actually believe I did that (hope that video doesn't go out anywhere 🤣) anyway she also is a lovely lady and so beautiful I'm sure the men find her very easy on the eye 😉 I could go on but I think you get how I feel about this gem of a place now. Fantastic turkish. Have eaten in a few places around the area and the food here was really good. Great value for money. Party of 11 of us and we were all impressed. Entertainment from Craig Neil was brilliant. Did get a bit loud but that's to be expected. Wasn't an empty table all night!! Will defo be going back, maybe midweek when it's less noisy.

The Bank Restaurant is the best Turkish restaurant in the area Starters are really fresh and tasty and my favourite is lamb shish over there in the menu I have friends became really addicted that lamb shish after I suggested them Also they have live music time to time and parking is super easy there

My order was horrible, human hair was in my order and the bread was extremely dry and very hard to bite. I reported this to Uber too, it was impossible to eat, the rest of the food was tasteless and cold. Not recommended at all!

Great food,drink and entertainment!

Booked for Brunch. Wasn’t made aware of the apparent 2 hour rule for the table (not the brunch). We ordered outside of the basic set brunch menu and was told we had to leave! Even though there were 7 other empty tables …. Food was okay. Service was okay. Drinks okay IF you order from the normal menu not the brunch one. All in all wouldn’t go back. Better food, drinks and service lots of other places in and around locksbottom.

Service a little slow but the food is more than worth the wait ..... the best tasting chicken shish ever 😋 and every time....

We visited with family for the 2nd time, 4 months after our initial visit. The same staff were on duty and our waitress, Evelina, recognised us from the previous visit remembered I was allergic to the herb Rosemary also where we sat previously and remembered some of the main dishes we had ordered. Needless to say this visit was just as good as our previous one in all aspects and have no hesitation on recommending. Next time visiting family in the area this will be our venue once again. Just wanted to express my love and appreciation for this bespoke Turkish restaurant. I absolutely love this place, the food .. the decor .. the staff and my favourite EVELINA ..!! Evelina really goes the extra mile and really accommodates me the ADHD fussy eater. I absolutely love my visits here and this is my favourite restaurant in the whole of Bromley borough. I highly recommend the feta cheese, salad, chips and vegetable kebab. I have already booked private dining for my baby shower in May and I can’t wait. I’ve been coming to the bank for the past 3 years and the food and service never disappoints. Izzy and his staff are always very welcoming and great hosts.

Management was rude and unapologetic when we booked a table for a big group for a birthday meal (well in advance) then found that we were split up on different tables. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. This is the second incident I have had with them when trying to arrange an event with them, prior to this I received a very passive aggressive response to an enquiry about the use of the private room. Do not bother booking for events. Much more friendly management around.

Trying so hard to be something it’s not. Manager has an attitude, very arrogant. Added drinks and an extra 2 starters onto bill. Waitress tries to get you to order more than you want. Food very very very average. Trying to be a very cheap version of sheesh with very bland food. Steak was very fatty and grisly. Chicken dry. Bulga had no flavour. Singer was very tacky, getting people to do the ‘bank express’ also known as the conga around the restaurant. Staff in kitchen arguing amongst themselves. Very disappointing was hoping for a decent restaurant especially as its local. Will stick to Chapter 1

Second visit: Fantastic food! Can't wait to taste other things on the menu! There's a set menu option which won't leave you disappointed but the à la carte menu is amazingly tasty! First visit: Amazing food and great service!! Best lamb I had in ages. Well done!! Very impressed and will definitely come back soon 👍

Evie was very welcoming and made sure all our needs were met. All our food was excellent. The restaurant and toilets were beautifully decorated and it was great to see the chefs working in the kitchen. The only negative was the loud music which made it difficult to hold a conversation.
