It is the second time I have gone and I have been just as satisfied as the first time. The food was great and the staff was very friendly at all times. I will definitely come back again!!

In London for 10 days and this is the first place I have come back to twice during my visit. The service is first class. The food is incredible, authentic Colombian. The portion size and value for money is amazing. The menu has something for everyone! You will not be disappointed.

Loved, loved, loved it!!!! The 1st place I have been in Lindon, servlng real Colombian food. The ambience is perfect, it resemblance a true Paisa restaurant. Everything in the Bandeja Paisa is from Colombia, the flavours are amazing.The arequipe with cheese was divine, and so was the aguardiente. Not only that but the restaurant itself is spacious, well decorated, nice. And the staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. A great experience all together. Great value for money. I can't wait to go back for the tilapia frita.

Always a great experience visiting El Rancho De Lalo. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and obviously enjoy working there. The atmosphere is very welcoming and while there is music it is not overwhelming, but adds to the experience. After our first visit, coming back is like visiting family - now we come whenever we can. I thoroughly recommend El Rancho De Lalo for a great Colombian experience in London.

I loved this spot. Walked in and immediately felt welcome, the staff was outrageously nice and the food was perfect. Daily specials highlighting different Colombian classics. We had the plantain soup, a delicious empanada, and Lulo juice (a favorite). Will definitely be back!

We came here for a late lunch on bank holiday Monday. We were lucky and had a table as son as we walked in, as the restaurant was busy. But in a good way. The atmosphere inside is energetic and welcoming. But you need to come for the food - it was delicious. We had the Bandeja Paisa and Chuleta de cerdo, and both were generous in portions and very tasty. Some of my Colombian favourites were missing from the menu (Arroz con pollo, arepas con todo…) but the menu had great choice. The servers are friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend to try!

Amazing food but the prices are going up very much every few weeks. Usually, you can get a weekday special lunch saving you money but now the soup and 'main' are being charged separately (the case today) which increases the lunch to +£20 (£4 increase from last week). The sancocho's are served with a huge potato and piece of corn on the cob - once you take those out, there is very little actual soup. The aji - traditionally spicy but very flavourful with lots of lemon, spring onion and cilantro lately has just been a tub of mind blowing hot chilli with a few bits of spring onion and cilantro which unless you like insanely mind blowingly hot chilli doesn't work as aji is meant to. Sad to see prices increase so frequently and noticeably. Unfortunately, when the food is this good and you have lots of loyal customers, this could start to push people away.

Excellent restaurant, amazing service from Jean Paul who is a credit to the restaurant. He talked us through the whole menu and explained all the authentic drinks, which we tried and loved! The food was amazing and took me back to my trip to Miami where we had similar food. They have a decible meter to see how loud the restaurant is which makes is great for families with small babies. Unfortunately, we took no photos as the food looked so good we wanted to eat straight away. Thank you for an amazing evening!

The best Colombian food outside Colombia.

I like to eat on the street and before going somewhere, I like to look at the reviews and that's how you orient yourself. It is the first time I have eaten at this restaurant in its new location and unfortunately I have to say that it was not a good experience. I don't understand why a restaurant trying to improve, like they only think about aesthetics. Everything is very nice, Lalo and his team are very well dressed, the new place is very nice, but I have to say that for my taste the quality of the food is very average. For the exorbitant prices, the food is very bad. They have raised the prices while lowering the quality of the food. We had 4 people eat that day and none of the dishes met our expectations. I in particular asked for a tray paisa and that was far from looking like a tray paisa. Starting with the fact that they served it to me on a round plate. I'm sorry, but I do not recommend this site.

Being welcomed by Lalo in person was a nice start. A bright, shiny clean, high ceiling and originally decorated made me feel in a real American ranch. Service was really quick and the food perfectly cooked. Although I live more than an hour away I most definitely will come back. Thank you so much Lalo

This is my first time eating Colombian food, and it tastes pretty good! The staff in this store are very enthusiastic and the service is very friendly. In fact, Colombian food is very suitable for my personal taste. I recommend this fish dish. Although the fish looks dry, it is very delicious when paired with the shrimp mayonnaise sauce! Very tasty! The comprehensive meat platter looks grilled, and all the meats taste relatively dry and not very tender. Regardless of whether it's beef, chicken or pork, they are all a bit dry and chewy (not chewy). I don't particularly recommend them, but you can still eat them. The garlic shrimps are delicious and the rice cakes are special (although tasteless). A very unique store.

Everything about this place is a gem. Not only is the food delicious but I’m always met with such kindness. One day it was pouring down and the owner gave me his umbrella so that I could keep dry. It’s a family run business so it feels good to support them and give back to the community. I came for the grilled chicken but stayed for all the reasons above. I have become a loyal costumer since and will recommend to anyone looking for their protein fix, a good salsa playlist and great costumer service!

We went on Wednesday and enjoy el sancocho de carne, followed by ox tail washed down with agua de panela with lemon, absolutely delicious and the service excellent. Must try!

Sooo lovely! Having spent a few months in Colombia and having enjoyed much Colombian cuisine through friends, I can say the food here tastes super authentic and nostalgic to me! Also full of Colombians which is an excellent sign..! The empanadas and chicharrón in particular are delicious. Food all came out really quickly, the restaurant has a great family feel, not too fussy at all, and the service is absolutely attentive and all staff super friendly and warm. A must try :)

INCREIBLE !!!! Las mejores arepas en Londres (best arepas in london!!). I'm Venezuelan and we overlap in some of our cusine with Colombia + a lot my family lived in Colombia whilst I grew up so I spent a some time in Cúcuta and have tried bits and bob of Colombian food near the border :) . This place is authentic and delicious the arepa with butter took me back to my child hood :'( so incredible and the empanadas are the only ones of this type that I have found in London (this style is only found in the north of south america, mainly Colombia and Venezuela I think).

My favourite Latin food restaurant in London, and arguably the best one. I’ve been coming here for 3 years, ever since they were inside Brixton Market, and I must say that they are not only consistent with the quality, it’s constantly improving. The service is always warm and friendly, the food always tasty and warm. Don Lalo is always here looking after every customer, making us feel at home.

Had booked a table for 12.30pm Saturday 9th march however I was told in arrival that the booking was not made however the swift service I received was fabulous and a table was given to me and my party of 5. Waited a while for the food however the wait was worth it. Delicious soup with mussels, prawns, squid on the specials menu 🙌

I rarely write reviews, but this Colombian restaurant in London deserves all the praise! It was a far cry from the "average" Colombian places I've tried before. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere transported me back to my childhood in Colombia. Vibrant colors, lively music, and the aroma of spices all contributed to the authentic experience. The food was simply phenomenal! My mother recommended the Casuela de Mariscos, and it was truly heavenly. Fresh seafood simmered in a flavorful broth with perfectly cooked rice and vegetables – it was a taste explosion! Every bite brought back memories of family gatherings and delicious home-cooked meals. I also loved the chuleta de pescado "cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the presentation beautiful. But what truly elevated this experience was the exceptional service. Sebastian, our waiter, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made us feel genuinely welcome and even shared some interesting facts about Colombian cuisine. It's rare to find service this good, even in high-end restaurants. Overall, this restaurant was a revelation! It exceeded my expectations in every way. I finally found my Colombian food heaven in London, and I can't wait to return and try more dishes. A huge thank you to Sebastian and the entire team for making it such a memorable experience!

The food was nice, but the chicharron and the beef steak tasted plain, and should have more flavour. But everything else on the plate tasted yummy. Especially the sausage. The empanada was good. The rice pudding dessert was amazing! The portion was perfect and filled me up.

Delicious lunch! We absolutely loved having lunch at this restaurant. From starters, to mains and to desserts everything tasted really good and fresh. It’s an explosion of flavours very well combined. The drinks are also very nice and the desserts also delicious. Portions of the mains are huge, if we knew it before, we would probably have ordered only one main as it was too much food and we ended up bringing some of the meat home. The staff is very friendly, there’s lots of staff members, and the service is incredibly fast. I don’t remember of being served as fast as in this restaurant and the food arrived very fast too. The only negative side is that there are no updated information about this restaurant on google, they don’t have an website and the prices are very different then anything I’ve found online. The prices are a bit on the higher side, we’ve paid £84 pounds for 2 people. The only thing that I wasn’t very happy about it is that on the receipt it says “gratuity not included”, but they will add a 10% of the bill that they will write on the receipt. I didn’t feel that this is the way that should be done, because it should either be on the receipt or not there at all and the costumer would give whatever they feel that would be fair. You can see on the receipt how it looks like. The owner is very nice and kind, came to say goodbye at the door, we felt very welcome. We’ll certainly be back as we loved the experience.

Era la primera vez que mi novia venía a UK y evidentemente le lleve a cenar donde Lalo, la atención fue increíble, la señora que nos atendió fue muy amable, Lalo por su parte se acerco a la mesa a tener una atención más cercana, un hombre muy amable y con una energía muy buena. Como yo tenía resaca pedí la sopa que tenían del día, me devolvió la vida! Y de segundos yo pedí sobre barriga y ella bandeja paisa. Mientras esperábamos comimos empanada y chorizo con arepa, todo ello me recordó por un momento estar en Cali. La verdad es que sitios como donde Lalo hacen que uno sienta la tierrita un poquito cerca aunque sea por un momento. Mi chica quedó muy feliz y eso fue para mi una gran satisfacción. Gracias a todo el staff del Rancho de Lalo y gracias especialmente por continuar brindandonos un poquito de recuerdos de Colombia.

This place is amazing! Delicious food, affordable prices, friendly staff, and the service is the fastest I have ever seen. Literally the second you finish your starter they are bringing your main. The soup is exceptionally delicious 🤤 I wish it had more meat and stuff in it, then i would definitely take an extra portion to go.

very good food, but their menu it’s not up to date, in the menu says clearly they’re serving breakfast until 1 pm on saturdays and went there before 12.30 and they said they don’t anymore, also the staff use to be much friendlier and polite when they were in the Brixton village
