La comida es fantastica. Propietarios amables y personal. Muy auténtico ambiente. Puede estar ocupado ya que es pequeño pero a principios de la semana a menudo es tranquilo. También es excelente para alquilar mientras es un lugar para fiestas pequeñas.

Me encontré con este restaurante por pura casualidad en Just Eat y, después de devorar una increíble ensalada de lentejuelas al vapor con ensalada de lentejas (entregada), tuve que comprobar de qué se trataba el verdadero restaurante. Y estoy tan contenta de haberlo hecho. Ahora he encontrado un lugar decorado realmente impresionante con un excelente menú, lleno de ambiente y recuerdos que te llevan por el camino de la memoria (aquellos de nosotros que recordamos que los tocadiscos y los escritores de tipo sonreirán). Y las bebidas / cócteles satisfarán incluso a los bebedores más exigentes. Lo que hizo que toda la experiencia fuera tan placentera tiene que ser el cuidado y la atención que recibimos del personal (sí, junio, estoy hablando de usted). Ella se tomó el tiempo de prepararnos cócteles especiales que nos gustaría, nos explicó el menú y es un personaje tan encantador que he tenido que gritarle. Ella es un crédito para el restaurante. El extenso menú satisface a todos los vegetarianos y comedores de carne, y la presentación está a la altura de los mejores restaurantes del West End. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!

Decoración ecléctica, lugar pequeño y tranquilo. Fui a dar un rápido mordisco al momento. Buenas frituras de pescado salado para comenzar y tirones principales de salmón y dorada con plátanos, arroz y guisantes. Buena comida y ambiente acogedor. Esperamos volver.

A beautifully created eclectic spot with an authentic homely Carribbean feeling. This little hidden spot is not only inviting, the customer experience is truly a pleasure, hospitable, and its environment is magical yet homely. With Caribbean vibes from many Caribbean islands. It's a definite return.

We eventually found that this place was open for Sunday brunch - having seen positive reviews. Would definitely recommend - I had the Jamaican Breakfast, which was delicious, and he had the Eggs Royale. Good portions, eggs done to your personal liking. Very friendly, cheerful service and cosy surroundings.

booked this restaurant after reading the positive reviews. twelve of us went for my birthday meal on Friday. We were warmly greeted and shown to our seats. The waitress that served us was very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and nicely presented .The portions were also good sizes ( oxtail, soup and the fish) would definitely go back again and recommend this restaurant..

This is a small bar/restaurant, with a homely feel and friendly management/staff. The food was tasty (even if the rice portions were a bit small). Everything was reasonably priced. Gipsy Hill station is opposite, so it's really convenient to get to/from.

Friends raving about the breakfast brought me here for brunch on a bright and crisp Sunday. We arrived at 11:30. Staff (think it is a husband and wife team?) very jolly and welcoming. Love that. I went for the Jamaican breakfast as a) I’ve not had anything like it before, and b) my friends recommended it. First thing that I noticed was the presentation of my food - what beauty (see my pics). I can say with conviction the two poached eggs atop my salt cod and plantain pancakes were the most perfectly cooked I’ve ever had. The breakfast not only looked wonderful, but tasted delightful. We each had a couple of good coffees. My friends paid (cracking) for what was for me a first foray into Jamaican breakfast. I’ll be back here for the welcome and the food.

We love this place (now renamed as Rock Steady). The food is AMAZING and staff are super friendly. We have been lots of times and have also had private parties. The new weekend brunch is also fantastic - the smoked mackerel kedgeree was my husbands favourite ever dish

Food was amazing and the service was absolutely brilliant. We live locally and it had been on the hit list for some time, so glad we finally went. Will be back again and again. It’s actually called Rocksteady Rum Lounge now and the owners have really got it locked down. Reccomend the festival breads, patties and brown down stew, but it’s all delicious!

Stumbled across this fantastic restaurant by chance. Wonderful atmosphere and ambience. Service made us feel like old returning friends. As for the food it was quite spectacular - will definitely visit again next time we’re in the area.

Visited with friends for an evening meal. All the main dishes looked amazing, I can personally recommend the curried goat, chicken stew and I polished off all my rice and peas- so tasty! We also had some patties to start which were really good, even the salad was mouth watering. The cocktails were also tasty, the service was friendly and attentive and the place has a homely, comfortable feel. I'd definitely recommend this place and really hope to visit again. Used Rock Steady Rum Lounge (their new name) to cater for my mum's birthday party. Ordered brown stew chicken, curried goat, rice and peas, chick pea curry, plantain and coleslaw. Lots of compliments from the guests especially for the curried goat which was really tender and the rice and peas which my mum said was the most authentic she's had from a restaurant. The service was very good. We sat down beforehand to go over what I needed. They brought the food on time and in bamborees so the food was kept warm and was easy to serve. Made my life so much easier. Have been to the restaurant many times so would definitely recommend them if you want really good authentic Jamaican food.

Not only is your food and customer service brilliant but you made my little girls day by sponsoring her for sports relief, With your generous donation rubyrose managed to raise a fantastic £78.00 for sport relief and for 8 years of age that's a a whooping achievement She ran jumped hopped and skipped and ended it off with an amazing dance off all in aid of helping others less fortunate than herself. Thank you so much for trusting and believing in such a wonderful cause and most importantly a special little girl. Really enjoyed a curried goat, rice and peas along with some fresh jerk chicken as a takeaway collection. Service was quick and friendly and would love to try the restaurant next time!

Nice food, the fish was really nice!! The rice portion needs to be larger, it’s a bit too small for the price.

The food was outstanding. You can tell it was freshly cooked. ( other places around here tend to batch cook and heat up) the jerk wings were one of the best I've ever had. I'll be ordering here again soon.
