Awesome hospitality and service. Super food.

Had high hopes based on reviews and previous visit in 2018 but we were sorely disappointed. We arrived at 7:30, it took them 10 minutes of standing in the doorway for anyone to come and greet us and show us to the table, we then got moved to another table which was still being cleaned whilst we were standing around, and the staff seemed to be very disorganised. 15 minutes gone and no one had come over so we had to call someone over just to ask for drinks. Eventually, someone came to take our order (she was lovely) and then it was a waiting game. Whilst waiting, the waiter had knocked over an entire jug of water on the table behind us, over the poor gentleman’s phone. It was all over the floor and whilst they wiped the table, they didn’t mop the floor leaving it full of water, nor did they apologise for the water all over the back of our coats where it had also landed. Lucky no one slipped !! The starters arrived after 25 minutes from ordering, these were very tasty to be fair, the seek kebabs were particularly nice, however it was a disaster thereafter. We had to wait over 1 hour for the mains for which we had to chase. Tables that had come in after us got served before us. The food was very bland, very under seasoned, tepid in temperature. The naan lid on the biriyani was undercooked and oily and there were only 4 tiny prawns inside. The lamb chicken and fish had no taste. None of the rice dishes were seasoned. The service was appalling, inattentive, disorganise, and they looked liked they were overwhelmed, totally lost and inexperienced and totally chaotic. We had to go to the bar to ask for drinks as table service was non existent almost. The bar was loaded with dirty glasses and food waiting to be taken out just sat there with drivers leaning near the bar were the food was. The delivery drivers were in and out like yo-yos and they seemed to be prioritising the take away orders rather than the customers they had in the restaurant. There were people coming in waiting for ages in the doorway as their tables weren’t ready. Other tables were complaining with one of the cooks having to come out and address their concerns. It was a shambles ! The owner (Rav I think she said her name was) was very apologetic to be fair but unfortunately we won’t be venturing back. Such a shame!

The curry wasn’t what I expected; it wasn’t like a typical sauce at all. Instead, it was more of a chunky, dry garnish on the chicken, which was quite disappointing.

Superb food, super tender lamb, great service. And exceptional dessert. Great ambience with fusion of original Victorian pub with antique Indian mirrors and architectural pieces. We will be back!

🇮🇳 DO YOURSELF A ‘FLAVOUR’ 🥘 JUST BOOK A TABLE HERE!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am one of the lucky people to know Mandeep and Rav. I have known them for as many years as I’ve eaten fantastic meals here, so that’s a fair amount. All I can say is that they absolutely put heart and soul into whatever they do. When they took over the Kingsfield arms pub they really brought it to life with their amazing traditional Indian food, music, class and atmosphere. I couldn’t stop recommending it to everyone I knew as the food was mouthwateringly sublime and cooked very obviously with love. I am happy to have visited 2 times in the last month and all I can say is this place just gets better and better. 🥘 My favourites include the black bean dhal and the lamb chops melt in your mouth. and with the recent refurb and amazing cocktails 🍹 it’s even more difficult to leave. So just please come down because my review does it no justice. The proof of the pudding is definitely in the eating and I’m definitely eating here tonight! 🤩

Amazing, Outstanding, the best Indian in London, UK I’m not from the UK but this place was high recommended so I gave it a try - a real experience- everything food, atmosphere and the service was excellent. Normally I eat at Gymkhanna, Trishna, Dishoom - all in London but Indian Gastro Kitchen outshines them all - Unbelievable- something to definitely be shared.

We ordered 2 completely different dishes- a veg side and a chicken curry main, as well as roti and naan. Both dishes came in the exactly same 'sauce', the only difference one being- one was slightly spicier than the other. The curry wasn't much like a typical sauce, rather a quite chunky dry garnish on the chicken. One would think that that would be very obvious to the customer and leave them feeling a bit cheated. The real disappointment however came the next day when my friend and I both experienced an upset stomach and digestive issues... Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Great quirky place for an Indian meal with a twist. Shame they got the spice level wrong way around, but over all great selection of food.

The non veg starters were average at best!

We ordered to collect on a Friday night- takes approximately 45 minutes for the food to be ready. We got the poppadums to start which were great. Chilli paneer was very flavourful as were the lamb chops. For mains we got the lamb makhani and butter chicken- both were fantastic but the butter chicken was my personal favourite. Butter naan and rice were excellent. Overall great experience and a local staple for me now. Overall bill was around £60, a bit pricey. I was informed it is halal.

Authentic Indian Cuisine. The food was AMAZING and the service is EXCELLENT! I recommend this place and come back again.

Pili pili mogo was very good, if a little on the smaller portion size for the price, we found it to be quite tasty, crunchy and hot, additionally all the sauces served were very nice. The vegetable biryani was also nice , having the naan bread seal across the too which was extremely soft but the accompanying raita was not sufficient for the amount of filling. Daal makhani was quite tasty and very hot which was nice. Chicken wings had a slight tanginess, lamb chops could have done with a bit more spice, shish kebabs were too dense, should have been lighter, chicken tikka was very nice as well as the lamb curry. Butter chicken was nice however a very strong taste of cardamom. Drinks were on the pricier side with no offers considering it was a weeknight with hardly any other customers in. Enjoyable music choice.

Amazing! Delicious fried okra, mixed grill, curries and the most incredible garlic naan. Staff were all so kind and friendly and accommodating for our young son. Nice upmarket space and decor inside. We will be back!

Absolutely stunning- it’s the morning after and the flavours are still dancing on my tongue (and bootyhole) Also a rotation of nothing but the best 2000s Punjabi bangers playing in the background makes this such a top vibe. All that said, it’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it IMO

Fantastic service by staff and owners. The dishes were delicious and flavoursome. You can taste the aromatic flavours and spices. I would definitely recommend this place. Beautiful decor and ambiencez

Been there 3 years past, was a very good food. Went Back after 3 years, wasn't a good experience. Food is not good, kebabs was so dry, they other dishes wasn't teste, food toke long and wasn't busy there , really don't know why food take so long time to be delivered to our table. My husband asked for a slice of lemon, in case that didn't came with his order, toke 15 minutes to be delivered to our table, plast that they charged for a slice of lemon, that this must caming with our dishes. Never ever caming back there anymore. Very disappointed 😞 😔 😕

Food and service are absolutely on point.

We visited this gastropub on Saturday at 5pm. Initially we were the only diners there. The staff were very engaging and courteous and offered us a choice as where to sit The background music was on point with 90s R n B. Food was served in a timely manner and the portions were a good size for the price. I've lived in this area for over 50 years and drove past this pubs on many occasions. I'm delighted to have discovered this hidden gem that serves amazing food. The owner was present and seemed nice and approachable Will definitely be back

First time visit and what a treat it was! You are greeted as soon as you walk inside with a smile and incredibly friendly staff. Small group but managed to try a fair few different dishes which all came piping hot and fresh. Good to enjoy small plates with a few drinks or for full lunch/dinner. Will definitely be returning and credit again to the staff for providing great service!

I have reviewed The Kingsfield Arms before, having enjoyed the excellent food and atmosphere for some years. But yesterday we tried their new venture - The Indian Sunday Brunch. All I can say is "wow!" - superb menu that you really will not find at other venues - dishes I have not even heard of, yet alone sampled, in half a century of visits to Indian restaurants! I recommend the keema prantha, samosa chaat and plenty of authentic chai. Enjoy Sunday dining in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. However food preparation is erratic, and portion sizes small, especially e.g. Lamb Curries, which are mainly gravy. The prices are expensive for Greater London, especially as portions are small. E.g. Nann breads almost £4 each.

The food here is always fantastic whether I order a Takeaway or eat in with friends. In the past I have visited with large groups of multi ethnic friends and we have always felt very welcome ,all of us have been served at the same time even tho we all ordered different, some vegetarian and some meat. Great social party evenings had by us all.Lovely selection of wines and the decor now is fantastic. Attentive service when needed . I am so lucky to live very close to this great restaurant. Thankyou.

Went here for Mother’s Day dinner. Service and food were great, especially the quorn-based dishes and crispy okra. I would definitely recommend and will be back! Only area for improvement would be the chairs which were a little uncomfortable for a whole dinner.

The food is the only decent thing here, but besides this there’s always some issues or another. Sometimes the food is raw, sometimes it’s burnt, sometimes the portions are tiny, and they even get the drinks wrong at times. What makes it worse, is when you point out there is an issue to anyone, the owner always turns up to “resolve” is and she just ruins your mood. Too much inconsistency in what you pay for and what you get. The female owner also lets this place down. She doesn’t value customers, and doesn’t take criticism about food well, she needs to relax a bit, seems very uptight.

My wife and I had dinner at IGK with friends. We can be fussy and judgemental when it comes to Indian food - it has to be authentically cooked and spiced! But we need not have worried. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The naans straight out of the oven/tandoor were incredibly fluffy and moreish. The service was friendly and attentive, even on a busy night. All in all, we had a lovely evening and left with promises to ourselves to return soon.

Fab atmosphere and really delicious food! A hidden gem in Harrow!

I really enjoyed this spot. Great food, stunning ambience and laudable service. The owner was an absolute joy, witty and hospitable. Definitely on my "must visit" list for London. Oh, and very well priced.

We came to this restaurant because we were recommended by our friends and family. The food didn’t disappoint, but we were charged for hot water and lemon and when we asked for lemon we were also charged for slices of lemon. Unfortunately this ruined the experience for us. When we complained and asked for the reason for this, we were shocked by the level of response we received which was very cheap and disappointing. We will not be returning again as it’s a matter of principle.

Please note they no longer serve English ales. Only lagers. Food excellent though. Not really a pub. more a restaurant.

This is one of my favourite local places to go for food. The decor inside is stunning and a unique renovation of a traditional British pub. The reason why I always return here is because of the variety of delicious dishes. A favourite starter is the Bhindi Kurkure (Okra fried in batter), a delicious snack with great texture. For mains, the Egg Curry is another favourite, with a balanced aroma of egg and spice. Tonight we tried the Karahi Lamb, which had a good balance of meat and vegetables in a curry. All the curries can be made mild/no heat, however if you are a heat enthusiast like me then you'll be pleased to know all curries are made with fresh chillies to keep you warm in cold British weather. There is also a large selection of vegetarian dishes, as well as noodles and grilled dishes. I have been many times and have still not tried all options on the menu. I look forward to coming back again and trying something new.

First time in this Gastropub - definitely not the last time- it’s trendy with a buzzing atmosphere, the food was outstanding - when people say this place offers fresh, home cooked style food, they are telling the truth. The service was great, music was old skool - this place puts all Indian places like Dishoom to shame. I would highly recommend this place.

We recently visited this restaurant with two other adults and tried the recommended dish, mehti chicken, along with chilly fish, biriyani, pina colada, and butter naan. Unfortunately, everything except the chilly fish was not tasty. The curry and naan were overly salty, which was a new experience for us as we've never had salty naan before. To satisfy our hunger, we ordered the chilly fish again. The biriyani had poorly mixed masala with the rice, and the pina colada looked funny as it was served in a small glass instead of the usual jug glass. We shared our dissatisfaction with the lady in charge, but she simply listened and didn't respond.

If you are looking for home cooked food then you must eat at this restaurant- the atmosphere, service, drinks and most importantly the food was absolutely amazing. Excellent food with great flavours. My only feedback would be the lighting is way too dim and it would be nice if the plates were warmed slightly before serving as they are ice cold

We came here last year and booked a table of 2, we loved the food and wanted to come back. We rang up to book and we were told they now don't take tables of 2 so unfortunately we will be unlikely to come back, as it is usually just the 2 of us going out for dinner. It's a shame as we loved the food.

Fantastic experience here, they make the food to order hot /mild, the lady manager is also checking to make sure the food and drinks are on point. This is now going to be our go to with friends and family.

Indian food. Lots of choice. Really enjoyed the started prawns and chicken wings. The dhal was super tasty as well as the keema and methi chicken. Reasonably priced and offer a good selection of drinks. Defiantly coming back.
