Lunch was really delicious. Our niece from Australia had cod, chips and mushy peas. Portion was huge and looked delicious. My wife had lamb knuckle, which she said was the best pub meal she'd ever had. I had beef burger and chips which was also delicious. The girls on duty were very friendly, efficient and a pleasure to be with. Highly recommend anyone looking for great food, pleasant surroundings and good service to try the Blue Boar.

This is one of our favourite pubs to visit in the area and we were excited to return and try their new menu. Upon arrival, we were sat in their modern and well-designed restaurant and our drinks order was taken promptly. There was an extensive gin list and three excellent cask ales on offer. There are also numerous wine and lager offerings. The food that we had was excellent. The menu is not huge but it is sufficient and there is a varied choice. For starters, we went for the pork belly bites and garlic mushrooms on toast. The pork belly was crunchy on the outside but the fat was still soft and juicy and it was paired with a delicious maple and whole grain mustard sauce. The garlic mushrooms were rich and creamy and were simply scrumptious. For mains we had the minced beef and onion pie and the Harrissa chicken with chorizo risotto. The pies take 25 mins (this is expressed on the menu) and they are worth the wait. Beautiful, buttery shortcrust pastry and they are full to the brim. It is accompanied with a buttery chive mash and green veg. The chicken and risotto was superb too. It was chicken thigh which meant that it was juicy and flavourful and the risotto was creamy and the chorizo flavour really came through. We did not have room for dessert on this occasion but have had them before and they are always delicious. If you are in the area or looking for somewhere new to try then you must give it a go!

Excellent customer service. We stopped in during a brief stay and had Sunday Lunch. A beautiful Roast Beef dinner and a first for them; providing our dog his own. He woofed it down! As did we. A lovely atmosphere. Thank you for accommodating our request!

First time here on a Saturday night. Great service. Food menu is small but a nice selection. The pie of the day was lovely (Steak and Ale) and the pudding selection was great. The price for the food quality was very good and not that expensive. Well Done Mr O’Gaunt 👍👍👍👍👍👍 4 out 5 🥧🥧🥧🥧

We had a day trip to Wroxham and decide to eat at The Bridge. It is a lovely location and as the weather was lovely we sat outside. We were a group of 4. We had a lovely meal and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. Next time we are in Wroxham we will defiantly come here again.

Called in for a light lunch last month. The restaurant (predominantly Indian cuisine) was disappointingly empty. Not a good sign. A pleasant enough meal but felt the charge of £3.50 for a paratha was excessive. Coffee also at £3.50 a cup was awful. Is there anywhere outside Italy that can produce a decent coffee? At the prices charged it should at least taste like coffee and be drinkable.

disappointed, been 3 times and it’s been consistent. No sauce, so food is very dry…. But if you wish to pay £7 for garlic yogurt as a starter. Erm shouldn’t you get a small 2/3 sauces to go with your meal? I asked the 3 times if there were any sauces that come with the mixed grill £££.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday with a baby in tow. The main bar was quite full, thinking the other patrons might like to continue their experience in peace we asked to go into the empty restaurant half. The staff even brought a highchair through to complete our private dinning experience. Good value simple food, we had jacket potato and burger with chips.

Visited the Plough with family celebrating a 60th birthday. I will say the service was very good, extremely helpful staff but the menu selection is very average with not a great deal of choice. I went for the burger which was ok, have tasted better in other gastro pubs. I expected much more choice hence the 3 star rating. I suggest you make your own opinion but I won’t be rushing back
