The best restaurants in Welwyn Hatfield East of England

I went to buy a loaf of bread. The lady serving just finished cleaning up and without washing hands or puting on protective gloves picked up a loaf with her fat grubby hands and put it in the slicer. I left. I wasn't going to buy filthy food.

An underwhelming experience, staff not particularly friendly, certainly need some guidance on customer service and making of their signature drinks Won't return

Had a pizza delivery and was very pleased with our food and delivery, Niks was very friendly, will definitely be ordering again.

Found The Meating Room by chance, looking for somewhere which wasn’t a chain restaurant. When we arrived we were really warmly welcomed by staff (and the regulars!), and while the dining area was set up for a party it was explained that we could sit in the bar area which was fine with us. The promotional photos of the food on Google promised trendy-looking handcrafted burgers in the style of somewhere like Craft & Cleaver, and while they didn’t arrive in enamel dishes, the burgers, fries and chicken wings were all far superior to your standard pub fare and very reasonably priced. The children’s menu offered a choice of burgers or chicken nuggets, and our little boy was also offered colouring pencils which was a nice touch. All in all a very pleasant experience.

A place I’ve always wanted to go to so we popped in for my girlfriend’s Birthday, Service was great and food was spot on. The pub itself has huge potential but could do with a massive deep clean and a little tidy up.

Visited the Secret Thai Garden in Coach and Horses, recommended by friends. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. The waiter who served us was lovely . He even walked us to the car with an umbrella because of the heavy rain. Unfortunately it is closing end of November but there is another Secret Thai Garden in Potters Bar which we intend to visit. I can recommend the Green Curry and my friend loves the duck in pancakes

It’s a very rare find for us since we were so in need of Chinese food towards the end of our UK road trip. The food is nice especially the Chinese mutton kebab 羊肉串！！ loved it so much, regretted not getting more of those 😭😭

Food was atrocious! The worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Dry and tasteless meats. Bland across the board. The desserts selection is minimal and again dry. £70 for 3 people, utter rip off. Please go to either wagamama or Nandos next door.

Placed a order online, paid in full, waited for delivery nothing, called the number to be told that i wasnt getting a delivery as they had no drivers, the owner was rude and arrogant shouting at me. Im still waiting for a refund. He blamed the website. Stay well away only
