The China Sky in Welwyn Hatfield

It’s a very rare find for us since we were so in need of Chinese food towards the end of our UK road trip. The food is nice especially the Chinese mutton kebab 羊肉串！！ loved it so much, regretted not getting more of those 😭😭

Very good authentic Chinese food and a little gem in a small town but not far from London.

Very authentic Chinese food, quite cheap and delicious, just like the taste I had in China. The drinks are a bit expensive. The eat in s much better than the delivery for me. And the waiters are very nice very enthusiastic. Had a lovely time here.

Only gave one star as no option for lower! Disgusting! The rice was a sloppy ball. No meat in chow Marin. Horrible stringy noodles. Chicken balls were like a rubber. Ruined my night this place did! AVOID

Authentic Chinese food, however quality not the best

Ordered our food on Saturday and to say we’re disappointed is an understatement. The “congee” which was rice with water poured on had lots of coriander stems which was horrid. The chilli chicken chong quing style burnt my mouth out and was rock hard (as shown in the video). The pancake rolls were filled with sloppy cabbage and carrot, this food is low standard and thrown together and will not be ordering again. Avoid this place

Delicious, high quality Chinese food, I have been to this restaurant many times! Especially, the crispy chicken is amazing, my son’s favorite. The stuff is friendly and the food is spicy. Recommend.

Even we arrived a bit early on Saturday (5:30PM) and the restaurant was empty, we decided to give an opportunity (and we definitely didn't regret it) The quality of the food was MUCH better than the vast majority of Chinese restaurants in the UK, and the only better Chinese food I tried in my life was in luxury restaurants in China itself. The dishes are specialities from northeaster China and are absolutely delicious. The price was really competitive (15£ per person) Totally recommend it

Put a order in last night most of the food was ok but the Chicken balls lol I order chicken balls not just batter ? hardly any chicken at all !!! . The delivery driver was really nice though and fast

Food was almost cold. tasteless full of onions/peppers little else. Noodles were £8 tasted like packet noodles! no taste overcooked. Food was greasy! containers were so oily when I rinsed them. it was £35 for 2 people never again. Back to Ricetime in Hatfield best fresh delicious food!

Ok so ordered online, food came on time, in fact slightly earlier than expected.Food itself was like warm at best, the prawn toast was soggy as were other starters. Mains was fine, tasty enough but not very warm.Positives were the menu is good, food is relatively cheap compared to competitors locally and the food was nice,

Ordered a delivery from here recently and the food was honestly inedible and the chicken was not cooked properly. The sauce was solidified by the time it arrived and the chicken balls arrived in a fried chicken box?! Honestly avoid at all costs, worst chinese I've ever witnessed.

Reheated, stale chicken balls & tasteless sweet & sour sauce (is that what that was?). Tough, tasteless BBQ ribs in a watery concoction. Mush of fat with what looked like dark yellow chips & what I can imagine wa supposed to be a curry sauce. Two things this place has been consistent with, reheated food that's tasteless!

Ordered via just eat, ordered 10 sweet and sour chicken balls, came with no sweet and sour sauce. Could not get through to anyone on the phone, rice was stodgy. I know it sounds minor but 10 chicken balls dry arent nice.

Portions were very small. The cartons were barely half full. Hardly any beansprouts in the chop suey. Chow mein was all Singapore rice noodles and could hardly find any meat. Chips were awful, stale and cold. Meal arrived in 100 minutes. Overall a very disappointing meal. Won't order again.

Best Chinese ever me and my best pals all went! regan ate free tuna duck, eddy had chow main with packet, i had that new... special corn soup with egg fried rice! 10 out of 10 couldnt eat too much was wearing my gucci suit but highy recomended, now off too the towninn to go get some free drink @mr regan lol sorry ed your barred

Visited China Sky because the noodle bar that we normally go to (Rainbows) has changed hands. It was 7pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was empty. It was cold inside, good job I was only getting a take away. I ordered 2 noodle dishes and 1 rice. They were all very bland (tasteless). I did not even get my free prawn crackers as per the menu. It was a truely a terrible experience. I don’t understand how they got some of the reviews. Maybe friends and family. It was truely terrible.

Looking on the internet to make an idea if is worth or not You don’t have that many pictures so i will not go for guess Suggestion-add some more pictures that’s what people judge first

My favourite place to go for hotpot in Hatfield. Large selection of sauces to choose from and the self serve layout makes it a very chilled experience.

Spent one hour to wait our food in the restaurant. The waitress did not even bring the menu to us. Staff are considerably rude out there. Also, the price is even similar to Chinatown while the quantity is equal to 3/4 portion in Chinatown. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Never.

菜很好吃。the Chinese cuisine is nice.

Asked specifically for 'No Onions, Garlic or Mushroom' due to an allergy. The food took an hour and a half to arrive and, guess what, it is full of onions and mushrooms. AVOID. They do not take food allergies seriously.

We decided we fancied an all you can eat dinner before the cinema. We haven't been here for quite a while and thought we'd give it a go. Good variety of foods from starters to deserts. All hot and tasty. The actual place could do with an update, seats a bit tatty and worn. Not bad value for as much as you like

Best In Hatfield. all other restaurants cant match ChinaSky food. They have some tasty food there like nowhere else. Try: Kung Po Chilli Chicken (replace chicken with Vegetables), Sweet & Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style, Shredded Chicken Chow Mein, Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice.

Half a portion of dry salt and pepper wings for full price , rice taste like water, cold delivery

FIRST TIME WE HAVE USED CHINA SKY and the food was great it arrived on time and it was hot the ribs were very tender never had any pawn crackers I think every restaurant/take away have always put them in the order FOC

We have not eaten in the restaurant, we have only had takeaways. To say there has never been a mistake in the orders would be a lie, however the customer service following the mistake was ideal. Despite reading some negative reviews we decided to give the food a go. The traditional deep fried squid and the chicken qong qing are firm favourites in our house. We have been patrons ever since. Try the chicken qong qing, if you like chilli but don't expect it to blow ypur head off as the description would suggest.

Family of six late Saturday evening tired after long journey fancied Chinese. Mobile search found China Sky. We were only people in. Wondered why? On the good side steady stream of full dishes of adequate food sated our appetite and became a source of fun. But drinks choices limited. Not even a red wine available. What we found utterly appalling was the despicable state of the toilets. Made us wonder if kitchen similar then we would all end up ill! Fortunately we are all fine. But this is totally unacceptable. Not even any loo rolls or tissues nor means to dry your hands. No chance that we will ever return.

The best Chinese restaurant in Hatfield! Compare with other two Chinese restaurants, you can taste the real Chinese flavor in China sky but on the other hand, there are some dishes that cater to British tastes, for Chinese they are not real spicy lol anyway highly recommend this restaurant

Big portions and value for money

Worst food I ever taste ! Food was tasteless and expensive ! Never recommend people come again ! This is the second time I order ! Hope can change your chef or recipe of the food ! Yuckssss.

Really really poor quality! Food arrived and was cold, chicken balls were cooked solid, egg fried rice was watery and bland and dumplings were gooey and disgusting! Upon complaining we were offered no refund or exchange. Would rather flush my £20 down the toilet than order here again.

Really good food with a good atmosphere. Abit more pricey than other Chinese restaurants for the quantity of food but it is good quality. Karaoke booth aswell so great for parties.

They've got amazing food it's so authentic just like the food in china. I recommended it to all my friends and they all love it.

As a Chinese, it has the most delicious meals in Hatfield or even in the U.K. Although I'm studying in Coventry at present, I still want to go there just for a meal. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Don't eat take aways very often and didn't know where to choose so went on to just eat and it came up with this one. It was really nice food and ate the whole lot between the 2 of us. Will be using them again 😊

Just had a meal from them ? food was cold when delivered from them even though i was told i was told we was first on the delivery to make sure food was hot ? I wanted to try them and regret it now, What a waste of money. i will stay with rice time from now on

Best of Best Chinese Food. They don't have a comparison in the area at all. Have tried all other Chinese restaurants in the area and these guys are real professionals. Awesome. Try their Roast Duck in Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce.

Traditional Chinese food? I was living in Hatfield for more than 3 years and I didn't have a single Chinese friend who likes this restaurant. It used to be just about alright in 2011 but apparently the chef left the following year and food started to even worse. This '羊蝎子 Lamb spine' hotpot 🍲 is the spiciest meal I've ever had, throat was dying 😂 and could barely speak in the meal and after eating 😂 Felt like I hasn't eaten anything when leaving the restaurant 😂

Live in hatfield 2 yrs and didn't know they do traditional Chinese food but the food is delicious great Asia decor and vibe a good place to go on a date or family meal or with friends I certainly recommend!!! The sweet and soul pork dongbei style is my best favourite so so enjoy it !!

Expensive - and def not value for money made worse by expensive rip off soft drinks that were sold as Pepsi ( glasses carried the logo) and were clearly not ..... Could not trust the definition of 'diet ' as tasted like sugar ... Putting my type one diabetic daughter at risk ... The 'fruit shoot ' for my youngest was clearly not a 'RObinsons fruit shoot ' as the imitation multi pack labelled not for resale at £2.99 for a pack of 8 was behind the till. Food choice was ok not brilliant and my 12 year old was not worth an adult serving and my 5 year old did not justify the child price overall an expensive meal and not worth it ....don't bother folks .... There are better food places in the galleria for this price and am sure better Chinese restaurants in the area for this price

Alquilamos un KTV / sala de karaoke para la noche con 13 amigos para mi cumpleaños.

Tenía como un cena opción, y estaba bien, aparte del pollo Pelotas como albóndigas con un pequeño trozo de pollo en el medio no podía comer. y también la salsa curry es horrible. sabe como lo que parece. Aparte de que la comida estaba bien, pollo con champiñones, Chow mein vegetales, era agradable. No lo recomendaría para no era demasiado bueno.
