The accommodation was clean and warm , loved the powerful shower. Really comprehensive welcome pack .There were activities during the day and evening,a nice pool .The meals were varied and very good quality.a mix of waiter service or help yourself loads to choose from .All the staff we met were very helpful and high staffing levels always some one to ask..

Friendly staff and great coffee. My daughter loved the apple shortcake and I’ve had both takeaway and sat in. I feel other reviews are quite harsh. Nobody loves a wooden fork but anyone with common sense understands why this coffee shop is moving to an environmentally sustainable way of operating. When we sat inside our mugs were ‘proper’ so not sure why others feel china mugs should be provided as a takeaway. If the service felt slow it might be because you walk away with your order rather than sitting and waiting for it.

Had a Takeaway. Food good but delivery dreadful. Two hours to deliver to Southwold! And it was no where near as hot as it should have been Was a small family gathering so did not want to complain at the time. Won’t be using them again!

Terrible don't have the pulled pork was very ill two hours after and still weak must have been full of bacteria ruin our holiday been on toilet for 3 days and very weak should have the environment people go in and check the food preparation area check throughly

Food is good but takeaway service is horrid Every time I order a takeaway from here it always turns up with something missing from my order

I ordered my usual LARGE HADDOCK & MEDIUM CHIPS for my tea tonight and I was rather disappointed with the size of my meal. Last week at the same time I ordered my usual & I got a big piece of fish & a very generous portion of chips but this evening when I unwrapped it it contained a medium piece of fish with a small portion of chips which varied enormously from last week. The fish was cooked on too hight a temperature cos although the fish was cooked the batter underneath was not cooked enough cos it was a bit soggy. My meal was half the size of last week's meal which was also cooked properly unlike tonight's meal batter. I haven't complained cos it never changes anything so I will leave it to this site & the internet to make the necessary changes if THE VILLAGE FRYER even looks at it as sites like this seem to be way more effective!!!

Placed an online order which was ready as soon as I arrived. We had the chicken Szechuan style along with Singapore rice and prawn crackers, the food was tasty and enough for wife and I to share with a bit leftover. Always use this place for a Chinese meal and see no reason not to continue doing so.

I went there today and became upset. The girl behind counter was amazing. Dark hair in pony tail. Northern accent maybe. She is an absolute credit and deserves recognition

Had an icecream stop on a sunny October day (they do exist) service was friendly and welcoming and I particularly enjoyed the Mega Icecream. All was good value too

Requested a large chips but got given what appeared to be a medium sized portion and get this - they charged me £3.50 for it! I couldn't believe it. This is LOWESTOFT! Not LONDON! Stop ripping off your customers and overcharging! I won't be coming back.

Went for a Tea and Cake after a stroll on the beach. All was ok, nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Great views across the sea and beach.

Nice environment but awful coffee which was watery and poorly made. Not good value. Very disappointing we won't have coffee there again.

best around asked for medium kebab with extra cheese and got our money's worth deffo order again just ordered again with discount and food came a disaster my Mrs had lamb shish kebab and couldn't eat the meat and same with me with my lamb shish wrap £20.70 down the drain never again food is vile

Don't microwave your beans .. They are hard. When you blast microwaves it ruins beans.. Learn from that Dont do that Many thanks.

The staff are totally disinterested and not at all friendly. Coffee and atmosphere were good. Having to spend 10p on a sachet of ketchup when you have spent £10 is an insult.
