The staff was friendly and easy to get a laugh from. they work well as a team and the cakes and huge pot of tea was welcome after a few hours of shopping.

Stopped here today, and, if I am honest, didn't think that it would be up to much. WRONG! The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I had omelette. Without doubt, the best omelette that I have had in England, actually, it was better than the ones I have had in France, which I thought were unbeatable. Well worth a visit.

Myself and a friend have been here on a number of occasions and found the breakfasts here are excellent and also reasonably priced too The staff are nice and friendly and always frequent here when we are in lowestoft

Popped here for lunch with a couple of friends. Lady serving was abrupt & rude, truly lacking in customer service skills. Food ‘ordinary’ - quality poor but very overpriced. Came out smelling of grease - we all had to change clothes & shower when we got home. Best advice is to avoid.

Popped in for 2 sandwiches. 3.00 for a large roll with just cheese. Asked for cheese ham and salad. Final cost of 8.90. That's a pricey sandwich for a slice of ham a slice of cheese and a few slices of cucumber and tomato! Especially considering for 3.00 I could have an entire cooked breakfast. When asked I was told it soon mounts up...I could almost see the dollar signs in the ladies eyes! Will never ever return.

After doing the bills, we popped in for coffee. Then we smelt the food, so we had lunch. The staff are very friendly and the food was great. Will return soon.

Visited Here With Friends Will Not Be Returning Absolutely Disgusted To See Most Listed Meals Are No More Than Ready Meals/Microwavable Meals From Local Supermarket, And Sandwiches/Baps Are Made With Stale Leftovers From Bargain Bins With Fillings That Have Been Sat Around For Days . . . Was Served By 2 Young Girls Whose Attitude Was Attrocious And Seemed To Be Looking Down There Noses On You, The Staff In the Kitchen Didn't Seem Any Happier And The Elderly Lady (Possibly The Manager) Seemed Very Snotty Also Disappointed To Know That The Sausage Rolls Are Just The Frozen Greggs Version Being Sold For The Price Of A Box Of 4 . . .Overall Not A Place I'd Be Recommend

Close to the town centre and bus station the coffee pot cafe and take away is much frequented by locals and offers a decent menu. The food is excellent value and generally of a reasonable standard. The place is a little let down though by an absence of effective kitchen extractor system but generally food is quickly served and arrives hot and well presented.

I had occasion to be in town early, wanting a good hot breakfast I attempted to patronise this cafe, its been ok in the past, but thismorning NO. I entered the door the first thing I was greeted with was" We are shut till 9.00". I explained I wanted a breakfast and could I wait inside it as bitterly cold, sleeting outside, the reply was short and not sweet "NO" I left, will never return, nor will my family and if I have my way neighbours neither. Politeness costs nothing. what made it worse was the fact that two men were also in the cafe,,presumably it is ok for them to entertain their men friends, but not paying customers

My wife and I visit this cafe regularly and always get a warm welcome. The food is fairly basic fare but always served quickly and courteously. And it's really handy for the bus station.

Visited this cafe yesterday and although the food was fine the mature lady working in there was rather rude. When I was walking towards the door she made a rude comment about how long I had taken to eat my lunch. I'm a slow eater! Nasty atmosphere. Will not be going in there again.

I was a regular of this cafe spending roughly about £11 a week on food and drink in there. However, this time one of the more senior staff members was a bit rude and a bit abrupt and seemed to be taking the mickey out of me for being overweight. So I shall take my business elsewhere from now on. That's a large income they've lost every year.

I visit here quiet often for a bacon roll and cup of tea with my partner. I have always found the staff friendly and efficient. There is normally a mature lady out front serving and we get welcomed with "good Morning". Unfortunately this time the young girl working on this day was not as polite. We were not acknowledged on entry, yes she was making someone's coffee but instead of turning round and acknowledging us, she kept her back to us and said nothing!!!!! No smiles..... No your welcome or anything...... Maybe she lacks confidence, then I suggest she gains some soon. A bit of a let down on this visit!!!!

This is an independent coffee shop hidden away near the market place & bus station almost opposite the Library back entrance. We were in two minds to go in as it looks a little 'run down'. Its appearance suggests that nothing great will be experienced inside (that sounds horrible but I am trying to be honest).

They should be ashamed. It was absolutely filthy on the floors tables windows sills and even the seats. Clearly nothing is cleaned properly, the manage needs to go on a hygiene course!

I went there today and became upset. The girl behind counter was amazing. Dark hair in pony tail. Northern accent maybe. She is an absolute credit and deserves recognition

Visited today.. how sad I used to run the clock house , which was a vibrant place for locals and friends of Southwold to visit We worked hard to look after customers always making sure they were happy with the products we happily delivered. Coffees were made for local customers as we saw them walk up the pier, making them feel special and valued….. not today, staff totally uninterested, unmotivated, no leadership It made me feel very sad to see this special venue so badly run I was also grubby, uncared for… let’s hope the new owners do something fast, before the season starts

Travelled from Norwich for a spot of lunch and a mooch around the greenery. Although they stock some beautiful plants and gifts, the cafe was disappointing. With only cake and coffee available, no lunch, made more stressful as we had a very hungry toddler. One lady serving behind the counter who appeared confused with what she was doing at times. No option for a children’s hot chocolate. Even though this could have easily been catered to. Other staff members about but not offering help. Large que too but this didn’t seem to bother the staff and create urgency. Be nice to see a simple lunch menu in future.
