Morrisons in Waveney

Had to wait 3/4 of hour for a breakfast. No mugs available. Staff clearing trays away handing dirty crockery and table numbers then going to food counter to touch people's plates without cleaning hands first.food left on serving counter for ages before being brought out,people then sending it back because it was then cold as ours was,not as good as it used to be

Nice breakfast but could be cleaner, teapot was very stained. Better than the Gorleston branch as its is badly managed, dirty cups and no knives or forks. Beccles is better but still needs sorting.

Had the fish and chips and the full breakfast. Fish and chips was a good portion and tasty. Full breakfast came with 2 sausages, bacon, egg, 2 hash browns, beans, toast, tomato and mushroom. Cooked well and I found it to be good value for money. Ordering was quick and easy and the food arrived promptly. The same lady that served us on the till also brought the food over and was very friendly.

Strange unbalanced selection; three prison-grade sausages deepfried, two very small pieces of cheap bacon, two pieces of disinfectant-flavoured black-pudding, two huge hash browns, two huge flat mushrooms, a pot of baked beans and two peices of again deep fried bread. One nicely fried egg. Half a slimy cooked tomato. The oil used to fry the bread was clearly ages old and tasted bad. Poor value given the poor quality of some of the ingredients and unacceptably over-aged oil. More thought needed over the content too.

Staff service was okay, never eaten or shopped here before. Food was so bad, I think the chips had been cooked in fat that was days old, tasted of onions and the chips were hard and tasted vile. Fish fingers were greasy and that’s all you could taste…grease Never again……the shop was empty and the prices are so high…£2.69 for blue rubble bags….bought in Roy’s later on for £1.29 and are exactly the same. Unacceptable prices

Unorganised chaos. A member of staff came over twice coming to check order but still got it wrong. Rather than taking the plate with the unwanted item the member of staff just grabbed the bread off the plate with her hands and left the rest! Utterly disgusting especially in this pandemic!!

Ordered two poached eggs with avocado on English Muffin—-all was very, very cold, even the poached egg was cold!!

I am an NHS worker. I'm not directly on the front line (doctor or nurse) but I am still needed at work. This makes it difficult to get to the shops. I went there this morning between 7-8am (NHS workers only hour), they had basically everything and probably more. All staff were friendly and helpful and most of all welcoming. I managed to get everything I needed and was even offered a hot drink on my way out. All I can say is well done Morrisons. You're making our lives a whole lot easier! Bravo! I hope you get all the credit you deserve!!!! Thank you!

Good food, friendly service, well priced. Generous servings and timely delivery.We were impressed with this new restaurant in Morrisons in Beccles. We would happily recommend the restaurant to others including those who were not previously customers of Morrisons

Took 10 minutes to get ordered then another 10 mins sorting out the wrong order. Then a 30+ min wait for food. Why did you enlarge your eatery if you can't give a decent service? Also it would have been nice to be warned of the long wait for food when initially being served, this is called good customer service. Going to Pakefield from now on much happier staff who do have great customer service. Food tepid when arrived.

Went there for a coffee and piece of cake, left there wishing I didn't bother. The coffee is from those machines that you just press the button and will make the coffee which never tastes nice, the cake was dry and horrible. The guy at the counter told me the coffee is refillable but it's just so horrible that you wouldn't even think of having another one. It was a waste of money, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I'll never be returning there for a coffee again.

If you keep your expectations managed in terms of quality you get a cheap, substantial meal. I had a huge bowl of porridge and coffee. Wide variety on menu.

Compared to other supermarket cafe experiences, this is surprising a good little cafe in Beccles. Staff are always pleasant and they serve food with a smile. Good Team in the cafe - Fish and Chips a must. Light, Crispy and hot.

Had a lovely scrambled egg on toast this morning. Food was piping hot and delicious. Excellent customer service. Only gripe was that the tables could have done with a good wipe down.

No cook again on Wednesday this week. Who do we turn to Morrison’s and they came up trumps again. Fish chips and peas for some and pie and mash for the rest. Everyone enjoyed it and theY were ready when they said. Can’t fault the service a BIG THANK YOU to the restaurant team from all at THE YOUNG AT HEART DAY CENTRE.

...and kept full until tea time! Excellent quality breakfast, great service, a fabulous start to the day, didn't even feel hungry until the evening. Great value.

Can’t find in your system a Morrison’s in Lowestoft, England, so I will write this review regarding that store, not the one listed. For the last 6 or 8 months their coffee machines have been dispensing a 75% full cup, not a full one. I have been mentioning this to two or three different staff members the situation!!!! All have responded with “we have told them”. Unrealistic in this day and age for that to happen with all the competition surrounding them!! I was told once that there machines cost £7,500 each! Wow! Who is making the profit? The store or the machine manufacturer? McDonalds is about 1/4 of a mile from them and a Costas will be opening up about the same distance away! Who will be the winner?

Called in here whilst shopping and had tea whilst in area on hols.good choice of food and great that kids eat free after 3 pm as long as each adult meal over £4.50 ,good service and pleasant staff and clean restaurant.

Today our cook was unwell and didn’t come to work. I phoned Morrison’s to see if they could do us a takeaway for our customers at The Young at Heart Day Centre down at the sports and social club. Although they were short staffed and it was one of the hottest days on record they came to our rescue and supplied delicious fish and chips for all.Thank you Paul Smith and your team from all at The Young at Heart.

The cafe offers decent value and reasonable quality food and if visiting with young children there is the option of boxes with a choice of drinks, sandwiches and fruit etc

Generally Morrison Cafes are hardly renowned for good quality and value - and this one maintains the usual required standard.

Sólo tenía un bar de comidas en este café agradablemente moderna, pero lamentablemente el servicio deja mucho que desear. Bien, era la 1. 15:00 de un jueves, pero no fue completa, sin embargo, ocupado o buscando desesperadamente esperamos más de 20 minutos para 2 rollos de tocino. Estas, sin duda se puede poner juntos en no mucho más de 5 minutos, pero parece que se necesitan más personal con 1 estados de ser responsable de la caja y no de correr por tratar de hacer un poco de todo. ¡casi nos pero aguantamos, aunque cuando los rollos no aparecen eran apenas tibia. No fue una buena experiencia.

Since this cafe had a refit it has become so much better, the staff work like crazy and serve good honest basic food.

Horrendous!!! Too much gossiping - dirty tables, sandwiches look revolting, hardly any cakes just dirty empty plates!! Come on morrisons get your finger out - what are these staff paid for

All you would expect from a leading supermarket. This is a convenient place to shop. Just off the A146. The staff are always friendly and the one time I had reason to complain, it was dealt with in a very satisfactory way.

Fui a almorzar aquí en un concurrido jueves. Elegí queso macaroni y mi primo y su marido tenía sobresaliente, huevos y patatas fritas. Pedimos al abonado, y hasta le costó encontrar una mesa que no estaba desordenada con platos sucios y tazas. Finalmente llegó la comida servida por una mujer que busca que, acosadas resultó, cocinado y despejó las mesas. La comida era razonable, aunque el queso macaroni estaba un poco duro y mi primo me dijeron que su sobresaliente estaba frío. Hablamos con el ayudante del hasta que dijeron que era muy bajo de personal y luchando para arreglárselas con los números que usan este café a un precio muy razonable.

Stopped and had breakfast after shopping here one day and was delighted that we did so as everything was cooked fresh and tasted very nice.

Allergy range brilliant but when asked where the dairy free yoghurts and premade coffee style drinks gone to, staff said that since they'd had 1/2 an aisle of allergy free grocery products put into store recently in line with TV advertisements, they'd removed these chilled dairy items and lots of customers had been complaining?None the less, a great grocery choice of allergy free foods!

Morrisons supermarket is just off the Lowestoft Road at Beccles. It's a handy stopping place for us when travelling back to Kent from seeing friends in Lowestoft. It's also a cut above the others compared with most supermarket cafes. It was Sunday and they were offering either roast chicken or roast beef at £5 a head -excellent value. I had the beef which came with a Yorkshire pud. 4 thick slices of beef. Yum. My wife's eyes bulged when a huge half a chicken arrived for her. Both meals came with roast and mashed spuds, carrots and peas. So with a drink each, ouch came to under £13. It was really very good value for money. Not quite gastro pub quality but for the money, absolutely excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and seemed to be proud of their work and the cafe which sadly is not common nowadays. When compared with the massive Tesco at Ipswich on the A12, I'd give Tesco 2 stars and this Morrisons 4 and a half stars. Well worth considering if yours on the road and passing by.We'll definitely drop by again on our next trip to Lowestoft.

I always use Morrisons in Beccles.Great staff,never packed,so its easy to shop.Beware of the deli counter though.I bought some hash browns as a quick snack.Once in the car,I bit into one of the browns.Alas,it was totally nuked!Burnt nearly.The customer relations woman took me over to the deli.Look out,its Hilda Ogden!With a face of fury,she hatefully pulled some frozen ones out of the freezer.It must of been terrible for her,burning those hash browns to a crisp and then selling them.How dare I ask for more!It was going to take six minutes to cook some more,but I couldn't handle her repugnant face for that long.The customer relations woman offered me some chicken instead,which I gratefully accepted.But 'Hilda' wasn't impressed and more or less threw them at me,with the face of fury.Great vengeance was upon me.That face will stay with me for some time to come and I will be giving the deli a wide berth.You have been warned.Be afraid.Be very afraid!!!!

Surprisingly good range from scones and cream cakes to full breakfast and meals.A good quick pitstop. Hot meals like good quality old-fashioned school dinners.All good value.

Had egg and chips with bread and butter and cup of tea on a cold day to warm up and it was fantastic. Also only around £3. In store with lots of parking so convenient for shopping after.

The restairant was fairly quiet, the food we had was ok but have had better here. The portions we noticed are beginning to shrink in size. Not the best experience but this was a quick lunch.

We eat here at least once a week. Food is freshly prepared and is always lovely and hot. It's very good value and there is a large selection.

Situated in one of the towns supermarkets I've always been impressed with the range & quality of food on offer during shop opening hours. It's true tables can remain uncleared during busy spells but I've always found one. The standard of coffee too is very good.

Called in for breakfast mid morning, ordered fully English breakfast. Tried too find a table that was clean, virtually impossible to do, so wiped it clean with napkins ourselves.The food was not very well presented, Tomatoes were vile.Seemed to be very few staff working in the area for serivng food, cleaning up.Was at the another sister supermarket at Chelmsford the same week.This was a different experience, service, food was very good considering its in a supermarket. But why should we expect poor service or food any where.
