Staff were efficient, friendly and approachable. Food was delicious and portion sizes were large. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be returning soon. Also so happy venue was dog-friendly.

Our first time eating here. Our neighbours suggested this & we were a bit hesitant. NO NEED TO WORRY. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. I had the Ribs and Chicken breast ATE ALL OF IT, which I rarely do. My Husband had Cod & Chips, which he too devoured. A lovely young lady served us for the entire time. The Chef came to the bar & spoke to us all after service. He knows what he's doing 👌

My family had their wedding here on Saturday and it was amazing! The team were so helpful and it was such a special day!

I called in again for lunch, the first time for a few months, was again warmly welcomed, my order for a drink and my main meal was taken; however, since, (and speaking from past experience) all meals are freshly prepared a little patience is needed but it's well worth the wait. My fish and chips lunch was delicious, cooked to perfection and very well presented. The manager enquired of my satisfaction during the meal, which was total. I will certainly visit again and would recommend this restaurant t anyone. This is my personal review; I notice on TripAdvisor that my past very favourable review is still available to read. Over the course of my visits I have tried many of the meals off the menu and have never been disappointed.

Very good meals apart from once definitely a different cook that day but overall I love there meals very tasty beg is cooked lovely and firm salad is cut small and very tasty as I have to eat fresh meals with my condition so these are perfect for me thanx lady of the lake 😋

Couldn’t have had a warmer welcome. Arrived in Oulton Broad to discover meals were buy one get one half price on a Monday. They were delicious and plentiful. Also we were invited to join quiz night so had a absolutely splendid evening. We will be back.

The meal was excellent and the service was top notch.

The lasagna I had was really bad seemed like it was heated and reheated it went in the bin . The shepherd pie was lovely I really enjoyed it so well done for that

THE LADY OF THE LAKE:- A Highly Recommended & a Well deserved 5*****'s!! I know this is a pretty long review, but the meal was so good that I wanted to do it justice. I really do hope you will read it through to the end 😉! Here goes:- I actually ordered via the "Just Eat" app, so I will only review the actual food quality - but its worth it! So here's my honest review for:- Lady of the Lake, Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft. This was only my 2nd time of ordering a meal from "The Lady of the Lake" Oulton Broad, Lowestoft via "JustEat" & I must say that I wasn't disappointed!! The food is sooo delicious, with generous servings of real home cooked meals. I ordered Cottage Pie with seasonal vegetables & gravy. The mince was very tasty, savoury, good quality and the perfect ratio between Mince and Mashed Potatoes. The potatoes were fully cooked through, smoothly mashed, and buttery. The perfect traditionally made classic dish! It was served with Brocolli and Carrots, cooked just right, not 'crunchy' or 'mushy', but just tender, their colour retained, juicy and fresh. The gravy was to-die-for! Lots of savoury flavour, beefy and tasty. There was even a spare generous portion served on the side for those of us who love our food smothered in it! Dessert was Apple Crumble & Cream - I could have chosen either custard or ice-cream instead of the cream - and, again, theer was plenty of cream to pour over the a-m-a-zing Apple Crumble! The apples were just the right side of sharp, not too sweet, but sweet enough, they were soft but firm to the bite and were covered with the best Crumble I've tasted for many a decade - even beating my own family's secret recipe. That Crumble was sooooo light, crumbly and buttery (you'd probably have to forget about the calories, but, my goodness is it ever worth the sacrifice 😋😁😃!) and there was the most surprising little crunchy crumbs scattered within all that deliciousness.....they could make this for any top class 3 Michelin Star restaurant and it would be virtually impossible for any one of their chefs to taste the difference between either of them - Seriously! The wonderful, tasty food - especially with it all tasting as though it was prepared and cooked for their customers by the Lady of the Lake's chef, with such care and consideration, most definitely deserve the maximum 5***** 😋👍😍!

The menu is what you would expect from a pub. Nothing fancy , but unlike some pubs, all of the food was edible, and servers with freshly cooked vegetables. The young barmaid was very welcoming and showed us to a table, then returned to take our drinks order and again for our food order. All the while serving other customers with food and drinks orders. And serving at the bar. It was great to see someone in so much control . And working on their own. To the management . The young lady who was working on Friday 12th July deserves a very special mention.

£7 for a pint of Neck Oil. There are two other establishments within a 5 minute walk that sell it for around £5 a pint

Amazing venue, kind staff who all went above and beyond. I will definately be reccomending Lady of the Lake to family & friends. I chose this venue to hold my Husbands suprise 40th birthday party, All staff helped to ensure the evening ran smoothly they werw so accomodating I am so glad we chose this venue, Will will most certainly be returning!

Really disappointed tonight, regularly have orders, will be reluctant to after tonight’s, spent over £30 on two fish and chips! Fish over cooked and tough, tasted rubbery - fed to dog (minus the soggy batter) Chips very over cooked, hard and dark, how many times had they been dropped in the oil to reheat! Garden peas not mushy. When you spend a lot of money £30 it is very disappointing to receive such poor quality and quite frankly in edible food. I wish I hadn’t fed to dog and dumped and re boxed it and delivered it back to yourselves. So disappointed, I’m afraid this has out us off having further deliveries is this is how the quality has dropped. I’m really disgusted that the person who served this up thought that it was good enough. Very poor!

Amazing food, owner is helpful and kind, this is the place you want to be.

This was unfortunately one of the worst but most expensive take away meals I’ve had in a long time. The food was barely warm, lasagna was chewy, chilli was ok but rice was cold and rubbery. Even the cheesy garlic bread wasn’t warm enough to melt the cheese on it. All round I was very disappointed.

Friendly and helpful staff, popped in when Wales were playing footy, bar staff found the channel so I had half the pub to myself, my beer and the telly. Doombar was one of the real ales available, was very good. Good outside seating area.

This is a lovely pub, the service was lovely if a little slow, when it is busier another person would be essential. It was a chilly day when we visited and a little more heat would be much appreciated, we will return. Lovely food, friendly staff.

I went for the first time with a friend the other day and was very pleasantly surprised with the politeness of the service and just how much of an energetic, happy vibe was going around due to the love band that was on. Security was lovely and keen to help out, not too many younger people and absolutely no disputes between customers, a lovely place to enjoy a drink!

Great food .....brilliant service......lovely atmosphere. Staff brilliant.....10/10 We had the sirloin steak and it was cooked as ordered.......three in our party. All had drinks and a desert. Good value for money.

Spent a few hours in this modern pub. Lovely back garden decked out in wooden benches and outdoor wooden chairs, raised platform area at the rear. All fenced in so no views! Good range of drinks at a very long bar area. The Lady of the Lake used to be quite a 'dive' but has been overhauled to be an attractive venue. The gig room towards the rear of the pub still has a very low ceiling and this makes for poor acoustics and not pleasant listening to live music. Otherwise a good combination of pub and band area. What lets this pub down is the toilets. It is very cosy and a little too intimate for private ablutions!

Had a roast from here before and I really enjoyed it, so much so that I recommended to friends and family. However, had a roast today and it just wasn’t the same. The gravy was disgusting, not sure what they’ve done to it but should’ve kept it the same :/

Second visit with our service dog Athena (who now wants to go everyday). Absolutely excellent setting, accommodating hosts and fantastic food (thank you Chef). Harmony is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. What I also noticed was she did not write table orders down but memorized them. An incredibly astute individual who always appeared on time and was a perfect host. Harmony integrated herself seamless to all customers and made the customer feel the centre of attention whilst keeping an eye on other customers. This is no mean feat and we can only congratulate her.

Went in right on opening time. Ordered two starters whitebait fish and mushrooms. Delicious. Mains bacon and cheese burger and breakfast. All delicious. Loved the chutney on the burger, don't see that very often. Fabulous service by the server (Athena I think), clean restaurant and toilets. £42 for two starters, two main courses, two coffees and two pints of squash. Great value, will DEFINITELY be back with the family.

Called in today with my husband and my dog for a panini and a coffee. Food and coffee very nice but the young lady who served us was exceptional - unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she was lovely, keep up the good work 😁

Had a lovely roast dinner piping hot and plenty of meat we also ordered hunters chicken that was also piping hot lovely salad fresh chips would highly recommend this pub/restaraunt sat by a nice warm radiator lovely atmosphere with a singer in the other dining room staff very friendly thank you 10/10

Had takeaway from here of steak and ale pie, mash and it was absolutely delicious so was the bread and butter pudding I had for afters my son had the same and he loved it too. We've had takeaway meals from another pub in town and food isn't half as nice and always still hungry afterwards but we were really full afterwards. Well done to the chef.

Chicken burger was pink ! Usually the steak and ale pie comes with gravy on the side it came with it already on and made the whole meal soggy.

Roast was piping hot, food tasted great and the gravy was delivered in a separate container which made serving so much easier.

Having not been to Oulton Broad for several years I called into the Lady of the Lake for lunch. I was greeted, my order (from an extensive and varied menu) taken and my lunch served to me by a very pleasant and friendly young lady who also too time to enquire of all her patrons as to their satisfaction with their food. I ordered fish and chips with peas from the menu, it was freshly prepared and very appetisingly served and was delicious, very reasonably priced, as was the coffee I also ordered. I was extremely pleased with the service and fully satisfied with the food. I always comment from personal experience, whether good, bad or indifferent, and the Lady of the Lake I consider very good. I know where to dine when in Oulton Broad again.

What a lovely friendly atmosphere created by the bar maid. She was so friendly and chatty and made the place a pleasure to visit. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she’s blonde, has been a dance teacher, and also does Disney princess parties if this helps identify her lol. This review might change as and when we actually get our food. So far it's been 48 mins of waiting. Asked at 40mins and got told that it was now being cooked. Review update food arrived after 50mins) Food when it finally arrived was very good. Unfortunately whilst we were enjoying it the band started up and blasted any enjoyment we were getting from the food out the window. We would have avoided this with quicker service. Drinks prices not great (pint of camden hells, a coke and a blackcurrant squash for just under a tenner is high) all in all a lot of potential but not somewhere I'd go again

Lovely pub to have a meal at 😊 The only downside I have was that there were 11 of us in our party eating. We all ordered together, and from the first meals to come out, we waited a good 35 minutes for the last 4 meals. By that time the rest of the party had finished. It wasn't like we all ordered different meals either - we kept it simple. But on a better note, the food was delicious and fresh. ( onion rings could do with a bit less batter ) It was also nice that our furry babies (dogs) were welcome inside, too.

Lovely pub and really pleasant staff, great that it’s dog friendly too. Fried food (chicken, chips etc) needs improving, far too greasy and not edible. We’ve been a couple of times and it’s been hit and miss.

Food was bad, beer is good, slowwww service, got my order wrong didn't want to wait another hour so I had it, mccans ovon chips were cooked well and the tecos coleslaw was served at just the right temperature. Highlight of the meal was the Heinz BBQ sauce If we come back and receive better service I will gladly change my review. I appreciate any business can have an off day.

Popped in on the off chance for a Sunday roast, we were not disappointed. It was really tasty, hot and freshly home cooked. The staff were very welcoming and also had live music playing , we had a great time and will definitely be returning.

Good pub food and drink at reasonable prices, overlooking Oulton Broad. Parking at back of pub. Kitchen open limited hours weekdays. Luckily we went at the weekend. Staff very helpful. They also do small meals for adults which suited us. Recommended.

I went to this pub on 19th April with my parents & our two dogs, we had lunch, we all had something different to eat and all meals were excellent. The lady who took our order for food & drinks was called Harmony, what a delightful young lady, she obviously loved her job and it really showed, she was polite, helpful & just an all round lovely young lady. We found it spotlessly clean and excellent value for money, when we are in the area again we would definitely return.

Service amazing, Harmony is so lovely so fast juggling lots of jobs so friendly. The food was so lovely, two ribs n chicken one pie omg pie was amazing so much steak in it. Food good value quick service. Pudding the cheesecake to die for, sundae lovely. Overall Def be back v v dog friendly.

Poor management, good staff but, have no idea how to get the punters in...

We had gone here for lunch on our last day in Oulton broads. We had mixed appetites and some of us feeling hungry some of us not but it absolutely catered for this with the lighter lunches still being delicious and not letting us down on the bigger meals either. The lady who had served us was very pleasant and checked in on us regularly. Overall it was a very good experience here. Good value for money also !

Due to a lack of planning and foresight on our part we found ourselves with out a reservation for something to eat on Mother’s Day !!! To be honest the outside of the pub didn’t look that inviting but we were up against it so ventured in and what a revelation A light clean an modern interior with welcoming staff. Initially they were unable to let us order food as the kitchen was “under pressure” but we needed to feed the dog so decided on a drink a,nd contemplated our options and opted for a visit to a supermarket to get something to cook at the holiday cottage We we’re just finishing our drinks and the landlord came over and said the pressure in the kitchen was reduced and if we were still interested we could order food So twenty seconds later I was at the bar ordering a Hunters Chicken and a Lamb shank. Both arrived in a timely manner served by a smiling waitress and we’re delicious The biscotti sponge cake (so big a slice I didn’t even begrudge the wife’s request for two spoons) made a great dessert.

Well after my daughter ringing around for 13 of us for a Mother’s Day meal(last minute) ended up at The lady of the Lake, to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve not been in this pub for years! Omg the staff, service and meals were exceptional, friendly, excellent service and amazing food all reasonably priced, generous portions, I must say it’s a million times better than the last time I was in there, will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends, and the box of Maltesers for all mothers was an amazing gift at the end of our meal, thank you so much to all the friendly staff, will definitely be seeing you again very soon, very happy family 🥰🥰
