AVOID !!! Just been to this fish bar and NEVER going again The chips (see photo) were the most disgusting chips I think I have ever seen and had the misfortune of tasting My other half picked out the semi soft ones , they were like eating stones ! They most definitely were not cooked fresh to order . The guy picked out bits of food from the chip holding area with bare hands which we thought odd while waiting for our food The girl taking orders didn't smile much or make an effort there was no conversation whatsoever The fish was okay not fantastic just average , So disappointed as was really looking forward to this and felt like a treat For £18 it's an expensive mistake and would not recommend this place to anyone I give it 1star as the fish was edible

Freshly made cod on order, large portions . Very adequately priced.

Ordered a kofta and kebab we got no pitta breads and the meat on both meals was cold and no salad disgusting place will never order from this place again and I want a refund as paid almost £30 for food that is not edible

Have been twice and enjoyed it both timrs, I had haddock but my son had cod and he didnt like it said it was dry and very tiny flakes not big chunks.

Ordered 2 battered sausages & 2 medium portions of chips, very disappointed with lack of chips more like a child's portion. Will definitely not be returning.

Got cod and chips here last week and was best I have had in a long while, today tried donor and was not disappointed meat was lovely and had a good flavour will be using this take away again soon service was excellent as well👍🏻

Currently waiting over an hour for food that is being delivered from 5 minutes away. Was updated through Uber that food was out for delivery, ten minutes after I placed my order. Restaurant won't answer the phone. Also contrary to what the owner has replied to other reviews on here, the information on their Uber page blatantly says that the restaurant use their own staff for delivery, so the excuse of needing to contact Uber is just to pass blame, not that I was ever told that myself, because they wom't pick up the phone. Placed order before 9p.m and the restaurant is now closed, so can't even go and see what's going on. Update, 2 hours past the original latest delivery time, order marked as delivered, but never arrived. Never manageed to get in contact with restaurant. Ordered from Pizza point instead cause chippies close earlier than most takeaways, which came in like 20 minutes I think and tasted great. Won't be trying to order from here again.

Ordered from here quite a few time, however tonight the fish we got had gone bad. It was inedible, both mine and my other half's pieces of cod tasted and smelt awful.

Great little fish and chip shop run by some friendly young entrepreneurs. Decent fish and chips , value for money and professional website as well. It's obvious that they are making an effort to try and get things right and that's very commendable indeed. They deserve to do well and get even more customers. Portion sizes were amazing as well! Recommended. 👍

Place order through Uber eat. Waited over an hour for the food which at this point hadn't turn up so decided to phone the shop to see where my food was. A man answered and his response was you need to phone Uber eats so I replied all I want to know is when will my food be with me. Which he replied with I don't know I'm busy and hanged up. Waited another hour and decided to order a Macdonald's which turned up within 25 minutes of ordering. Two and a half hours later the food that I ordered from this shop show up cold. It so bad that my dog didn't want to eat it. So my advice would be to avoid this place at all costs. I believe this place has so many good reviews unless it's from family and friends.

Best burger in town and also best chips, fresh and tasty!

They have no idea about what's is in their food when asked is there any egg in that because of an egg allergy their response was i don't know we buy it in like that. (And still wrapped the un-battered sausage with the battered ones even after explaining why it had to be without batter) whilst waiting a guy walks in from the street walks around the counter and starts serving the food and wrapping it great, but he never washed his hands before serving, no hair nets or hats, food an hygiene doesn't seem to matter, food well chips were ok fish batter was not cooked properly and dripping with oil i watched him take it straight out of the fryer and into the box, meat pie barely 1min in the microwave so it was lukewarm. Can't say I'll be going back anytime soon.

Very nice friendly. Also provided mayonnaise and free bottle of drink for order over £20.very well cooked fish and chips.

Well impressed. Had meal deal for lunch. Generous portions of fish and chips. Nicely cooked and well presented and waiting for us to pick up.

Let's just say quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had freshly made to order. Having travelled up 140 miles for weekend away and wanting fish and chips . Only criticism is that portion of chips to large for mine and wife's liking but everyone is different . Would of given more stars if there been more

We've had foof from here a few times now, lovely people always pleasant and polite. Food is always fresh and piping hot and tastes delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered fish and chips and they forgot to deliver the chips . Chips got sent out late so ate cold fish. They refused to refund or send complete order out again . Very bad customer service

sausages tasted great and was cooked well but the amount of grease in just the soggy batter of the fish was off putting and the amount of grease that seeped out from the soggy bun was disgusting like someone tried to revive it with grease 🤢🤮 will not be coming back any time soon until they learn to drain grease from food. hopes for the future though 👍

Tried it for the first time tonight. Lovely fish with nice crispy batter and great chips. The sachets of tartare and slices of lemon were a nice touch too. Will be back 😊
