Coffee has become just too weak. I love this Greggs and the staff are lovely and they give me another with lots of apologies..but always the same which I pour away. I go at least once or twice a week but as coffee is an important part....I will just now get the breakfast to take away and get my coffee elsewhere. It used to be very good.

Just popped in for lunch. The food is always good at Greggs but what really stood out was the lovely friendly welcome we got from Gerry, she was so pleasant and helpful.

well, nothing special about our Greggs here in Beccles, it's exactly what you expect, never lets you down and is open seven days a week. The staff are very welcoming and treat all customers really well, even when it's extremely busy.

The trouble is the Looooong wait to get served. Came here for lunch and because of the long queue that was moving so slowly had to rush our food. Think the problem might be to small a service counter for how popular the place is. The food was very good.

We decided to eat lunch here for the first time last week and there was quite a queue waiting to be served. We decided to wait, but the queue was moving so slow I think it would have been time for high tea by the time we were served, so we left. We may try this place again, but please get some extra staff.

I rarely consider visiting Greggs, indeed this was my first visit to the cafe part of the Beccles outlet since its refurbishment. I ordered bacon in a crispy baguette, with a flat white coffee. The service was quick and served with a smile at a really reasonable cost. It was great value, lovely and I may become a more frequent visitor..

My wife and I visit Greggs, Beccles most days to either buy bread or rolls and to partake in the morning breakfast. It is a very friendly place with caring personnel and well run by a young manager. Well worth a visit both for the food on offer and merchandise sold.. Use the Greggs app to save paying with cash there.

Worst Greggs I have ever been in. Food is great, that's if you can get a product before they sell it and you have to wait 15 minutes fir them to cook some more! Went in again today only to be told, "we only cook 2 at a time to keep them fresh?? This is lunchtime for Christ sake. I have been in morning, lunchtime and afternoon and its just luck if you get a pastry that you actually want. Ridiculous, the manager needs to be told. The amount of people complaining in the long queue that the only thing ready are sausage rolls! How many people have walked away like we all did.

We had a snack and a drink whilst visiting Beccles. We use Greggs as it's a no nonsense place and the kids love it. This Greggs was large and had plenty of seating. The staff were really lovely and treated the kids well. The food and drink were as expected and they split a hot chocolate for the kids to share, but topped up with cold milk to make sure it wasn't too hot. Really nice relaxed visit,

Sausage rolls are excellent. Cornish pasties (although they are not allowed to refer to them as such) are excellent. BUT no plates! I am expected to eat them using a paper napkin as a plate??

We visited The Crown for a midweek lunch. We had our dog with us so didn’t want the formal dining room. The tables at the front were busy so we found a cosy snug at the back which was almost empty. We had a catch of the day fish and chips, complete with excellent crunchy chips and a smoked fish platter, also very nice. As expected, the full range of Adnams beers were available and in excellent condition. However, what we must really commend The Crown on was the attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. For example, I asked the barman if there was any water bowls for dogs outside? No need to go outside he replied and dropped what he was doing and brought one to our table. We will definitely return when we ext visit Southwold.

Had a roast beef dinner delivered to home yesterday. Was absolutely delicious, great size portion, lots of lovely veg too. Although it came from the other side of town, it arrived nice and hot. We have previously had food delivery from places closer to home that arrived Luke warm. We will certainly order again in the future.

Had to wait 3/4 of hour for a breakfast. No mugs available. Staff clearing trays away handing dirty crockery and table numbers then going to food counter to touch people's plates without cleaning hands first.food left on serving counter for ages before being brought out, people then sending it back because it was then cold as ours was,not as good as it used to be

6 of us dropped in for a drink after the cinema at 22.05 today . Totally deserted except for one customer at the bar. Waited over 5 minutes before the customer offered to find the bar staff. Empty glasses on bar and tables so obviously work to do but no staff. Young lady eventually appeared and promptly said we've finished serving. No apology. I am amazed bars can afford to turn away 6 customers let alone without an apology. Also strange on 2nd July to read Christmas menus displayed around the walls. No idea if these are very early for this year or left up from last year? I've worked in hospitality much of my life and the golden rule is 'never turn away a paying customer' Unfortunately a no stars review wasn't an option. Very disappointing.

What a great friendly pub we were met with a warm welcome. Food great. The best nut roast i have ever had. My husband enjoyed his food which was Crayfish and Prawn chowder. The pub was spotless and they are very dog friendly providing a dog menu if you want one. Looking forward to going back.
