Ok a 2 hour wait is totally unacceptable! On ordering I was told that delivery would be an hour, so ok great know, they’re busy, but happy they had told me this. After hour and half called and told , oh yeah your order is here on table, will be there in 5 minutes……….after the initial call, 2 hours later our order arrived, I think a free dessert would have been a great gesture. Our food was delicious though, roast dinner and a burger were tasty but this 2 hour wait needs addressing!

ABSOLUTELY delicious 🤤 Ordered twice now, both times the sunday roasts. So so good worth every penny Generous portions, Friendly delivery driver.

Ordered food, waiting 2hrs. Phoned up, was told driver had given our order to wrong customer. They had also ran out of ribs, so they couldn't do our order again. Bad service, which is a shame because their food is usually very good.

I tried calling a few times but the calls went unanswered So messaged via FB Messenger stating my intention to order 3 Christmas meals, after 5 hours I tried again as I had no reply, thought they must be busy and had missed the initial contact. I was told within a few minutes (with no apology) someone would contact me shortly. This is at 16:45, I naturally assumed shortly would be with the next few hours, that would be reasonable I thought. With less patience at 11 the next day I sent another message to receive this reply Wow! very rude, we are busy with other things too! Not our only customer I'm afraid!" I find it peculiar that when I am trying to support local business I am ignored but as soon as I hint at my frustration at their service I receive immediate contact, strange business model? After the experience so far this gave me no confidence in their service so I declined to proceed and mentioned I would leave this review so that others may think twice. I hope I am in the minority and they have many satisfied loyal customers. I think some basic customer service training would not be a bad idea. I was also told/threatened that "they would be sure to respond" to my review and that " They didn't want customers like me" Local people that want to give them business??

Absolutely disappointed. Ordered at 5pm, received email confirmation and delivery address & order was correct. Waited nearly two hours and after calling both mobile and landline numbers I couldn’t get through. Shop number says this mailbox is full and cuts off. Thinking we’d been ripped off my husband went to their address on Facebook and the place was chained up and no one answered when he knocked. I’ve emailed asking what’s going on and waiting response but not hopefully as it seems they don’t want to be contacted. Such a shame as many people on Facebook rate this place. Maybe we were just missed but then why ignore my Facebook posts on their page, emails and not answer phone. Now got to mess around trying to get my money back as they shut 33 minutes ago and food didn’t turn up!!!!!!! On the plus side we got McDonald’s and won a mixture of food on the monopoly game! Lmao

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch that was delivered. So nice to go on holiday and get something other than Chips, kebabs etc delivered! Daughter had waffles and milkshake, and said that the milkshake was Devine! I wish we had somewhere like this nearer home!

Excellent food always arrives hot and on time. The best burgers I have ever had! Would mark 5/5 but they are quite expensive considering you then have to order a d pay for fries etc separate but highly recommend

Ordered Porky’s Pot takeaway while enjoying a long weekend at the beach. Excellent! I’m always iffy about ordering BBQ because it can be very hit and miss when you can’t go inside and ‘scope it out.’ But this was exactly what the family was craving – spot on. The food was ready in 20 minutes as advertised, piping hot, and both the portion size and the flavor was BIG. Highly recommend the fried chicken and the ribs both.

Ordered take away for mothers day. Food came cold and missing chips and horse radish sauce. Daughter ordered the southern fried chicken which is pretty much the same as a kebab shop at an overpriced rate. Was not worth the money at all.

Food was bland, cold and items missing. The phone number on their Facebook is switched off so took a while to get through.

Burger bun was so soggy I couldn’t pick it up. The burger itself was tasteless, it tasted like one from a supermarket that’s frozen. The whole thing it’s self had no taste. The chips were also not cooked, they were like a half done boiled potato. Think it was rush as I ordered close to closing time but still 30 mins before closing

I know in these times of Covid lockdown that things are difficult for restaurants, but I just spent £35 on some bland, luke warm food and when I called to let them know it felt like they pretty much said I must be wrong. We ordered 2 chicken and waffles and a loaded fries with "ultimate cheese sauce" and bacon. When you picture chicken and waffles you imagine a nice crispy piece of fried chicken on a waffle. They were supposed to be cheddar and bacon waffles (they may have been, but as they had no flavour we couldn't tell). On the waffles there were 3 small pieces of what was supposed to be southern fried chicken. The coating was soggy and just fell off the chicken. I am not exaggerating when I say that chicken selects from McDonald's are crunchier, tastier and cheaper than these ones were. They were also luke warm at the very best. This place is literally half a mile from my home and when it got here we had to microwave it to warm it up. Then we had the loaded fries with ultimate cheese sauce and bacon. First of all if you are going to put bacon on fries you chop it into small pieces so it can be distributed through the fries, not just put a couple of full rashers on top. There was no cheese sauce (when I called the restaurant to let them know they said "so there wasn't as much cheese sauce as you would expect". No, there was no cheese sauce, just some melted cheese. Also the fries were soggy and luke warm like the chicken. When I told them it was luke warm she said "I have trouble believing that since we're not busy" (that just makes it worse!) I replied that I too had trouble believing the food was luke warm since they were so close, but neve the less we had to microwave it to heat it up. This is the third time we have used thid restaurant, the last two times were ok, but this time the food, temperature and attitude means we will not be using them a fourth time. £35 is ridiculous for what we received (we did also order cheesecake which we haven't had yet, but does look ok, so to be fair to them only £25 of the order is what I am talking about here, but practically all of that is going in the bin, I think that's enough). I have been told that the manager will get back to me, but it might be a while as he's very busy (probably not till next week). Maybe they are having a bad night, everyone does, but as I have just thrown almost £25 of food in the bin, it is unacceptable no matter what the reason is

Waited three hours for our meals to be delivered. Called up at one point and was told food was then leaving. However still took another 30 minutes. Unfortunately was not worth the wait. Burger was warm at best, fries cold, beans cold and mac n cheese cold. Very disappointing as was hoping it’d be worth the long wait. Couldn’t be bothered to call up as already waited so long and at this point my partner was so tired as she’s a key worker and had to be up next morning at 5am as a career. Real shame as the flavours were there just long wait and cold food... wish I ordered something from elsewhere

Ordered a takeaway of BBQ Stack and Skin on fries for 2 online. Told delivery in 60 minutes although premises only 5 minutes away. Takeaway arrived after 90 minutes. Fries were barely warm and the BBQ stack wasn't much warmer. Contacted Porky's Pit via Messenger, concerning my disappointment where it states replies within 24 hours. My message was read within 2 hours but I received no reply. Not even a sorry. Won't use again - overpriced cold burger and chips. Had better from McDonalds delivered by Uber Eats which was hotter and cheaper too.

We had meat hash and it was generous and freshly made. Lovely polite waitress will definitely return.

Excellent food, good service but the room was freezing cold. No heating on, 6 degrees outside, a couple of heaters near the tables but didn't make the difference. When people have to eat with their coats on as it's so cold....not good. Lemonade 125ml bottle...

Visited when burgers were 2 4 1 deal. The meal was very nice fresh nice burgers me and my wife loved it definitely go again. Only negative was again like many restaurants not enough chips !! But overall very nice

tried the breakfast and both of us had the hash. Very good and plenty of food. All freshly cooked to order. Cannot fault. Would definitely go back.

Chinese and Indian home delivery...no problem, but a Roast Beef dinner with yorkshires, roast potatoes, beef, peas, parsnip, cabbage, cauliflower,stuffing,carrots and horseradish sauce cooked like at home, delivered early,...I would have not believed possible!.....Thoroughly enjoyed this very tasty dinner....well done Porky’s!....please keep this high standard...
