The best restaurants in Watford East of England

Pizza toppings ok , but the base is horrid like spongy with a weird taste and the whole thing doesn’t taste like pizza. 2 slices was enough for us sorry, the bin got the rest sadly . Disappointing

Everyday I’m doing breakfast from here but today I ordered same and a guy his name is hanish he refused to give me a salad and extra sauce, I offered for extra money as well

Place was nice overall, Paneer sizzler and lamb mains was really nice.

1st visit - The food was faultless, a wonderful low-cost lunchtime special menu. Service was direct and slow at times. One star lost due to the shabby and dirty furniture. One further star lost due to the additional service charge; stop this shoddy practice! Feedback - Dirty shabby furniture does NOT equal "CHIC"! 2nd visit - again, food was again "on point". Service was "minimal" at best! Following the owner comments below from the first visit, we asked for the service to be removed. This created a "to and fro discussion" with me being told - who gets the money (staff), it is quoted on the menu (yes, it is) etc etc - I then explained the word "discretion" and the fact I could use my discretion. A very uncomfortable convo.

Service was really good, food is always delicious, though my starter was served warm. Stand out was trying the peach beer. It was amazing!

Best dessert in Watford and really good customer services, Shebbu was really good from taking our orders and services us! She deserve a pay rise!

I have ordered few things like quarter pounder burger , chicken shish etc. I don't know who was the chef this evening. I assume was "Pedigree Pal" . The food was like a dog food .That food represents the company.Chicken shish was very chewy burned pepper absolutely disgusting. Burger had some lettuce .Was look like someone has already eaten and then vomited back .Not recommend that place at all!!!!

2025 January and this location is now closed. Unsurprising given the poor customer numbers each time I walked past. New restaurant, decided to try as I was keen to have their salad. Service was poor; a very young team with what appeared to be no overall management. The young man who served me was rather abrupt with his communication and, to me, rather mean with the portion size. I went simply for the salad with braised beef, tomato salsas, topped with cheese. The salad was only lettuce; I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to extra meat, and I agreed. I felt for the price of the salad bowl at £11. 40, the value was not there for me. The environment was very stark and not inviting. Very much an eat and leave philosophy. When it came to paying, they were not accepting cash. Food was okay, but the beef was for me a bit dry and over spicy. Anyway, I tried and feel sad my experience was so poor. Still plenty of competition for this Eatery in Watford, so I hope they improve to survive.

I usually enjoy buying from here, however twice now I have tried to order at around 9:30-45pm and both times they’ve not accepted the order as they’re “closing up”. Don’t advertise as you’re closing at 10:30 if you cannot / will not take orders from an hour before. Your closing times are misleading…
