Always such a reliable chain, very tasty food! Service at this one a bit slower than most others

Doesn't feel like how Wagamama used to be. I have to ask them to take back the food as it's always cold. Portions have become lots smaller and taste has also changed. Didn't enjoy enjoy as much as we used to few years ago

Service okay, good family atmosphere However, food, I order 2 started dishes one was deliver to the table after mains. I order a ramen but the noodles was not cooked properly uneatable. Waiter take the plate. But still charge £17 for a food I didn't finish as was not cooked well.

I recently visited wagamama and had an amazing experience! I’m so grateful for the exceptional service provided by Birute – she made sure everything was perfect throughout my meal. I ordered the prawn raisukaree and hoki coconut kare, and both dishes were absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend wagamama for a great dining experience, and a special thanks again to Birute for making it even more enjoyable!

Not happy because we was refused to sit outside even though there was tables. Why have an outside areas if not allowed to use.

Delicious tasting food. Fast service. No queue to get in. Very friendly staff. Answered all my questions as efficiently as possible and carried out all my requests .

I went to there today for lunch. No one came to take order for 10 mins first..after calling a waiter he took our order and then order did not arrive for next 45 mins. When I asked staff they said the order is not there in the system. They asked who took order, I told them. The guys had audacity to say he never took order. Total lie instead of apology. I would never go there again. Although I took photo of my menu where waiter wrote the items number and some other code when taking order. Photo is attached here. In nutshell service is horrible, would not have given even one star if there was option.

My first ever visit to Wagamamas! Our waitress was great talked me thru the menu. Food was great and made my birthday! I'm now looking forward to my next visit now local to me.

Yesterday we had my child's birthday at Wagamama with 20 people and the food was very delicious, the manager and staff where very lovely and helped us with any issues we had. We where very pleased with the service and experience even though we didn't have a reservation.

Each meal in wagamamas is delicious and there is something for everyone: if you like spicy, there are many meals to choose from. If you prefer soothing and plain i would recommend the chicken ramen. The chicken katsu is my personally favourite but the noodle plates are exquisite. Like the yaki soba!! My point is, there are many delicious options in this restaurant and i would definitely recommend coming here. This particular wagamamas in Watford woodside has a very relaxed atmosphere of people enjoying their food and feeling good. The service could improve but is reasonably good.

First time I order a food online, my order was not complete. I call Wagamama and one lovely lady name Egli spoke with me, she was very polite, friendly and very quickly sorted out the issue. Thank you very much.

The place was empty, I was seated quickly, but surrounded by dirty tables with plates and cutlery. I waited around 15 minutes for someone to take my order (still the tables where not cleaned). I had to get up and walk across the venue to get someone to take my order. There is enough staff, they are either chatting with each other or sorting out the takeaway orders that are incoming. The food was good when it came, standard Wagamama levels. If i had'nt paid on the app, i would probably be still sat there. Not a good experience, considering the staffing levels and the presentation of the place, it looked like the kitchen of a student flat

Tasty food, The problem is that guests do not receive their food together, We were served the starter course only after the main course

yesterday i visited Wags in Watford centre alone as i was working in the area and had a pretty bad day, one of those days when it was one thing after another. when i received my meal there was a problem with it which i wont mention, i complained and was at the point where i just wanted to go back to my hotel and sleep the day away. It was pouring down with rain so i sat my drank my beer and the lovely girl who served me not realising at the time was actually the Manager said the beer is on us please let me bring you another meal. I refused the meal but sat finishing off my drink as i waited for the rain to stop. 5 minutes later the Manager named Egli came over with a new Chicken Ramen placed it on my table and said " please think about it, if you do not want it just leave it but please try and eat something" she had been watching me and said it looked like i have had a terrible day and asked if i wanted to talk about it and said some very lovely positive words. Egli made my terrible day end on great highs i would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart. xxxx j

After a pretty terrible day I went to wags Watford for dinner but sent my dish back as there was a problem I won’t mention. The girl serving me was very apologetic and offered me another meal on the house which I declined, she said we’ll have your beer in us. 5 minutes later she came back with a new dish and said I’ve been watching you and it does look like you had a terrible day, placed the dish on my table and said “ you don’t have to eat this you can leave it but please try and eat something” she also asked if I would like to speak about my day and said some lovely positive words to me. I ask her name and she replied I’m the Manager Egli and I give her a hug. Thank you Egli for making me smile and finishing my bad day on great highs. What a wonderful person 🩷

Although our food was delayed our waitress Aarathi was fantastic and really helpful and kept us updated with our food and why it was delayed so we did not mind.

Great service, workers kept checking on us and were extremely polite and friendly. Obviously the food was delicious as always and came very quickly. Music lifted up the vibes. Dhan was very kind would recommend, would love to be served by him again, (he deserves a raise) They bought out the wrong meal and took it back to make a fresh one and gave us a free chicken ramen.

Good variety of menu for vegetarians now, was better as we customised for the kids and adults being the spicier. Staff was courteous and quick service. Would certainly recommend

Absolutely awful experience. The manager should be fired! She refused to give us her name, and her attitude was terrible. This is the second time we have encountered an issue with her. You’d get better service and professionalism from McDonalds across the road. We have already lodged a formal complaint against her. We will be going to a different restaurant in future.

The place was full but didn't have to wait long. We were sitting in a nice place. Were served by Lauren and were not rushed to order. The atmosphere was very nice and the temperature inside the restaurant was very pleasant. Have been here before and do coming back. They have a great vegetarian choice. The prices are very reasonable. Service is excellent. Had Tofu Firecracker, which is our favourite. Gochujang rice bowl and Yasai pad Thai. Drank Asahi draft and High five. Will definitely visit again soon.

The place was empty (weekday lunchtime) but staff ignored me and only came over to seat me when another couple came in. They took the couple's drinks order and then brought their drinks, without ever taking mine even though I was on my own at the table next to them. When they went to take their food order and I was still sitting there ignored I had no choice but to walk out.

Been several times to the restaurant. Tonight, I ordered food after a very emotional day. I ordered 9:55pm without realising it was closing at 10pm. I phoned up and asked if this was okay and I was spoken to by a lovely lady. Upon arrival, they had packed a free Coca Cola! Which included a kind message on it. Truly made my day, exceptional service!

The only thing about this is that the food comes out at different times, so you can be having your mains before your starters

We ordered through deliveroo for a large family and this particular chain thought it would be appropriate to deliver in two separate deliveries, half an hour apart.

Food was amazing as always. Shirodashi pork belly ramen is my go-to dish, it’s filling and it’s worth the price.

We were served by a lovely lady Lauren. She was very friendly with a warm welcoming smile. There was a small misunderstanding about the opening time as we had the days confused, which we weren’t upset about or took note of. Lauren however was kind enough to come to our table on three different occasions to apologies about the misunderstanding, her customer service skills are great, very warm and kind lady. Thank you Lauren :)

DO NOT GO HERE !!! The queue is so long outside and they would not serve our party of 7 even though we clearly had a booking they still denied our entry and we ended up waiting for 15 minutes only to find that they could only sit us if we split up ! THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

After my gf went to the washroom, I was approached by a customer requesting I should vacate the table as the staff were waiting to clear up.. Fair enough I thought seeing as how busy the place was and I told the customer I would be leaving when my gf gets back, I had to reiterate this when she suggested that I wait by the bar! Our waitress came up expressing her sincerest apologies for what just happened and I could hear the customer in the background saying I was OK with her suggestion! Three different members of staff including Amanda the staff manager, came up to me expressing there dismay that this should have happened and telling me how sorry that I had to experience such rude entitled behaviour. Amanda insisted that we should stay with complimentary drinks of choice on the house.. We had coffees, and she gave us a lovely voucher for our next visit to any Wagamama restaurant! All I can say is how satisfying it was to be looked after with such courteous and professional staff at Wagamama's and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to visit Amanda and her team at Wagamama's!

not the taste of Japan food is just fair... and everything is too focus on spicy rather than flavour I would really say that is completely not the Japanese cuisine but the service is excellent!

It's always busy here during weekends, but I am always lucky to have a corner table not sharing with others. The food is really delicious and the broth is so tasty in the ramen. The hostess is very attentive and very quick on giving us a table. The atmosphere is great. I could see an open kitchen where they dispensed the orders. I also tried their healthy smoothie, although it's good but the glass is too small for the price.

Ordered a katsu curry never came for 40 mins then got given to someone else absolutely appalling!!! Shocking service

I think this was my first visit to this chain, I have to say that the service, from the time we stepped through the door until we left, was excellent. The young staff were attentive, polite and helpful in explaining how things worked. The food was well presented, freshly prepared and tasted so good. There was a small problem, a wrong dish was served, they apologized, I chose to eat it rather than waste it and they gave me a voucher to use on a future visit which I look forward to using.

I've been here several times and the food is 9/10 pretty good, however that 1/10 when it isn't good it's inedible. On two separate occasions a chicken dish has been raw, however the staff were very kind and delt with it well. All and all, if you like any other wagamama's restraunt you'll like this one although I'd take some caution when ordering chicken dishes, especially if it's a busy time.

Had a lovely meal. The waiters were friendly and quick to take orders. Seating was a little uncomfortable. I would like to have a back to the stools and somewhere to hang coats near our table.

Unfortunate Wagamama experience, worst one I’ve been too. Restaurant wasn’t too busy but service was awful, was only a table of 3. Even though multiple tables was available, took 12 mins for us to be seated but many staff just standing in the corner by the bar. By the time we finally ordered drinks, they didn’t arrive until all our meals was out since they “lost our ticket” apparently. Brought out Yaki soba but forgot the side dish of katsu curry sauce which was ordered as told to the waiter to go on top, waited 7 mins which by the time the meal was going cold. Even when asking for a fork we got told we had to wait because of the dishwasher. I appreciate everything comes out when it’s ready but when ordering the waiter was told this was apart of the meal. Even when going to pay, long wait to get a server over, tried to pay online but wrong order number was given to our table. Considering this is a smaller branch of Wagamama, really disappointed for the price and overall quality. Wouldn’t recommend visiting this branch

Good service and delicious food!

Food is good, but service is rubbish. Ordered for 2 one person finished eating second received food. First person never received the drink ordered. Even when the place is busy these things could be better managed.

Went in yesterday after a long time looking forward to a ramen. I was the first customer for lunch and as I was shown to my table something didn't feel right. I sat down and looked around....and there was dirt and food from the day before all over the floor and tables. It was disgusting....nothing had been cleaned. I walked out. Won't be going back in a rush!

Staff are always overwhelmed by the volume of online orders so the service is poor. As someone with allergies, my food has to ordered separately. While I have no problem with this, the overrun staff means my order is taken much later. Last time my tablemates food arrived just as I was giving my order.

as normal, wagamama was a perfect option for dinner! the service was decent but some items took a bit long to come, not like our normal experience. i ordered a chicken katsu with teriyaki sauce insdead of the normal curry sauce, with a coke. i was there with my family and they kinda okay with the service kinda not! the chicken was kinda chewy and it was all hidden under the rice, there was not much chicken as they hid it under the rice to give it the effect that it would be a lot. at the end we ordered a cake and i have a nut allergy so we asked a waiter if there was any nuts, he said we do not keep any nuts in the restarunt, then another one 5 mins later said there where little bits of nuts in it. very dissapointed as i had a reaction!

There was a line when I arrived but we did not have to wait long at all. The staff were nice and made sure we were comfortable, checked on our satisfaction etc. The atmosphere was lovely, with live cooking and families enjoying the wealth of menu items on offer. The food also came out surprisingly fast. I ordered the pork belly ramen, It was great but the pork belly tasted a little plain so I added chilli oil and seasoning that was offered on the table. My friend ordered the chilli chicken ramen which she said was delicious. The chicken gyōza was also amazing, very succulent and tasty. I know I am definitely going again.

Amanda was the best server I’ve ever had in Wagamama! She was so happy and attentive, nothing we asked was too much- she checked ingredients and stock for us. We loved the chilli margaritas!! Thank you again. :)

Eaten wagas everywhere but this was by far the best experience because of Mat. He was & is genuinely amazing, gave us the best recommendation for the drinks.

Ordered the new chilli magherita cocktail and it was nice but when trying to order another one; they’d run out of it! Portion size for chilli squid has reduced. Food was ok otherwise but prices are now really high and not worth that much in my opinion. Went to celebrate an anniversary but not very happy with the visit today.

Last visited pre pandemic. The amount of chicken in the katsu dish has dropped a lot and been replaced with more rice and salad. Restaurant air conditioning fan froze us all and made for an uncomfortable visit. Staff were friendly but rushed us to order even though it wasn't busy

Really good food, healthy and a wide range, the taste of the katsu wasn't up to scratch, the rice also was over cooked. Other than that it was good, the ramen was great.

Ive been there multiple times and food was delicious each time. Service was kind and helpfull, especially from Karolina, who was checking us often with smile on her face. Recommended to everyone who wants to taste Far Asia food!!!

Our service was very good from Egli and a young black waiter (we are sorry but forgot his name). He happily provided detailed product knowledge answers to our initial food menu questions. The food was well-prepared and tasty with decent sized portions. We ate quite early so many young families were present and the atmosphere was congenial. The payment method using a QR code was not tgo our liking ( no idea about it) so we simply asked to pay by card which was fine. Another reviewer said he could not opt out but we had no issue and I doubt anybody would. The QR code simply saves staff time I guess. Overall I felt a over the little top price wise for simple wok noodle food, so would have to have a think before revisiting despite nice service and meal experience.

I ordered a vegetarian dish since I don’t eat meat, and I wouldn’t say I’m a picky person when it comes to food. The only thing I will NOT eat are bell peppers because it’s just something I’ve hated all my life. Ever since I could chew solid food, I hated bell peppers. I hate them so much that I’d rather eat raw octopus as a vegetarian than eat a bell pepper. Anyway, I ordered a veg dish and nowhere did it state it had bell peppers, but when it came out it was basically the whole dish. From the sauce to the dumplings it was full of bell peppers.I tried eating around but I just couldn’t, so I asked for the menu again because I wanted to order something else and the manager, I presume, comes to me with some recommendations asking if I want something from the KIDS menu… I thought that was so rude, she could have simply given me a veg recommendation without bell peppers from the main menu but she had to be rude instead. No one has ever asked me if I wanted a kids menu since I was a kid… food looked great though and the waiter was nice so I tipped him 15% but that’s it…

Eat here from time to time, in general ok but today took way too long to serve us, seemed to prioritise online orders which was a disappointing restaurant experience

Chicken Teriyaki was dry and a little under par in general. I'm told the standard is usually a bit better. Staff were helpful but pretty slow. In the end the chef himself took the time to bring it out, so I appreciated that.

We went for dinner at Wagamama Watford last night and it was a really poor experience. I ordered the Cha Han, something that I've ordered before, but it had so little chicken or prawns in it that I basically paid for an expensive bowl of brown rice. Not filling, not tasty, not good value. I don't know if this was a one off mistake or is now policy, but it wasn't good. The table next to us was left uncleared and it stank. When we asked it to be cleared, the waiting staff were really rude and basically told us that they were too busy. Finally when it came to paying, Wagamama try to take all of your personal details, including phone number, when you pay for the meal by QR code. You can't opt out, it's just a rampant grab of your personal details for no good reason. I don't know what Wagamama are doing but I'm not going back in a hurry.

Went to Wagamama Watford this afternoon for lunch with kids. Warm welcome from Madhav, a lovely girl took our order, she was very helpful and suggested nice dishes to order. Chef Kajtek and Sachin was very kind to amend the order as my daughter liked it. Efficient and helpful staff. Enjoyed our visit, will go again, 💫⭐💫⭐💫

Came here specifically for the pork belly ramen but was kinda dissapointed. I mean I feel like wagamama quality varies from branch to branch but the one in watford has to be on the lower end. Food was no where near as good as for example the milton keynes branch. Staff were OK, they didn't really bother much. Our tea glasses had lipstick stains on them and our water had something floating inside it, the spoons on the tables had food stuck to them and were dirty. To sum it u, it was just OK and would not be returning to this branch.
