Beautiful location. Everything decorated with artificial flowers and trees. Fake but pretty. The service is attentive and the food, Florist Burger, was delicious. Worth a visit!

Beautiful restaurant; big cherry blossom tree in the middle of the restaurant, perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Also been to the Bristol and Liverpool location, this one is probably my favourite, good size restaurant and bar area, staff are lovely and food was gorgeous

The place is nice, you feel like central London. The starter was good (calamari but the sos was sweet chili...). I got a Florist Burger and it looked like a £2 burger (not joking see the bread in the picture), the taste was OK and I was hungry but for an over £16 burger....very very disappointed (I had street burgers with less than £8 tasting better and looking a lot better. I still offer 3 starts because the music was nice, ambiance was nice, service was OK, my fiancée main was OK.

We had an amazing bottomless brunch at The Florist, Watford to celebrate a 21st birthday. From start to finish the team couldn’t have been more helpful; from Carolina being so accommodating well before our due arrival time with accepting and looking after the birthday cake, to Charlie for making the most amazing cocktails and to Mihai and Lewis for looking after us so well and ensuring we were well fed and watered even though is was a busy day! Not forgetting the team’s dulcet singing tones singing when presenting the cake. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend The Florist with their fab team and great atmosphere.

A beautiful venue. Did not book just walked in (Friday 18/10), was shown to a table where nobody else was seated found it very strange & asked the waiter why, he said that they were expecting guests later. My partner ordered the 8oz steak with pepper sauce(extra), the steak arrived without sauce & cherry tomatoes (which was on the menu). I ordered a vegan burger (a bit on the small side) the processed 'meat' burger did not taste good at all I would suggest an all veggie burger. The waiter serving our table was very friendly. Was impressed by the decor & ambience

Whilst the venue is beautiful and the drinks menu is great, the food menu is really poor for coeliacs. As a vegetarian coeliac I am used to having limited menu options, but only being able to offer a bowl of rice and a (very small) side portion of steamed green vegetables is pathetic. Even if I ate meat, my choices would have been limited. I had a similar experience when I visited this venue when it first opened, but gave it the benefit of the doubt because it was just getting established. Suffice to say I won’t be giving the benefit of the doubt again. I left feeling hungrier than when I arrived. The menu needs a proper overhaul to make it more inclusive.

Went here on a date night, food was average atmosphere is amazing and so were the drinks.

The moment we walked in the lady at the front was so helpful and very kinds, we went for my daughters birthday after a horrible experience at the top golf the florist staff made us forget everything, the girl who served us too she was so well mannered and really good in serving us, thank you so much for making our evening so lovely we will def come back again and the food was lovely too

Visited on a Saturday evening. It was very busy. The food was good, and the ambience was vibing. They had a dj, and music was a bit too loud. Had to shout to be heard. But otherwise a good evening.

Utterly garbage pseudo Wetherspoons with the familiar sticky tables. Food is standard spoons fare, nothing too offensive, but almost zero gluten free/allergen accommodation.The insistence on hard house beats LOUDLY pumped directly at our table meant that our birthday bash was unable to have any conversation without yelling to the person next to you. Even the staff couldn't hear our orders. We asked for a reduction but were told "Highly doubt it, loud music on a weekend". There are so many other options than this, go elsewhere to one that doesn't see its patrons as cattle.

First time at The Florist in Watford last night. Had heard lots of good things . Truly amazing. so beautiful inside. Food was amazing. Waitress Carolena was so helpful and friendly. Wasn't rushed. Had a fantastic eve. We booked our Xmas works party there in Dec which Carolena helped to arrange. This is definately the best place in Watford high street to eat and socialise.

I don’t know what was going on but the service was shocking - we wouldn’t have got any service if we hadn’t asked for it. We visited at 6pm on Saturday. Food was good but no service AT ALL.

This was a birthday treat for myself and 7 friends. I phoned ahead to ask if some of us could bottomless and some not as at least two of our party wouldn’t be drinking. We were not welcomed on arrival as the desk was unmanned and left to stand for quite a while, until I enquired at the bar. When seated the waiter said it was not possible at first until I said I’d phoned specifically to ask. The service was exceptionally slow considering we were on a time limit to be served the bottomless drinks. Waited 12 mins for first round, 20 mins for second round which 2 drinks were incorrect and had to be returned, then waited again for replacement. No apology for the problem. In the end I got up from my table to find the waiter to personally complain, at this point I actually had nothing to drink at all ! Told him service was an absolute disaster, which I shouldn’t have had to. The food service was terribly slow. We waited 50 mins for the food which was cold and over cooked on arrival. I did mention that the prawn screwer was so cold it was like eating a fish jelly. The waiter eventually brought another when we had finished our meal some 15 mins later. Furthermore another round of drinks arrived with one missing, followed by another 2 rounds in quicker succession as the waiter realised they weren’t getting to us very quickly.. I must also note that it is amazingly hot inside and had I and my friends have known we may have taken a mini fan. There are high ceilings but it must have been at least 80 degrees inside seated near to the windows and one member of our party became unwell due to the heat. The food quality was poor and seems as if the kitchen were unable to cope or coordinate service as mine was overcooked and cold while others were hot. One of my friend meal did even arrive. We had to call someone over to chase it. Overall the restaurants decor is beautiful but the slow service and poor delivery of food totally spoiled the experience. It’s a shame it could have been amazing.

The service was very slow, and when your out with friends you should enjoy it but when they want to push your drinks on you , the food took a long time and not even nice , over priced

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fast service. Good food. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth the experience. DJ in the house on a certain nights. Many tables available. Not a boring place.

Went down to try the bottomless brunch and I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken salad that we had was so delicious and filling.And our server was brilliant as well.The only downside was the limited drink options! We hated the Bloody Mary drink totally not edible!Hence I hope the drink option expands other than that the whole experience was 10/10!

The vibe was great but the food wasn’t the best sadly Not a problem. I came on Sunday night and I had the steak and sadly it was one of the chewiest steaks I have had and also looked very unappetising. The salad could also have done with some more effort but this may have been due to it being late in the day. Thanks

Beautiful and welcoming place. But the food is pricey and the portion below average. Furthermore, the music is far too loud making impossible to have a conversation.

Generally nice meal. Was well priced, good mid week deals and really good food. Atmosphere was a bit dead and the servers seemed extremely bored so nothing to rave about but it was a Thursday night I suppose. Nice limited menu as well so quality was exceptional throughout. Will definitely try this place out again.

What a place!! We had a blast last night and the food was delicious. Starter was phenomenal with flavours and the bread was perfect. The hanging kebabs were to die for and the sharer cookie dough was a nice touch. The place is very beautiful and very well laid out, the vibe was also great with a live DJ. We were served and waited on by Karolina and she was amazing. Service was very inclusive went above and beyond, food was lush and thoroughly enjoyed our table, the overall customer service and experience for a birthday celebration.

Only been here once for by birthday a couple month ago but i just wanted to write to say thank you for making my special day great staff were amazing an food was amazing limited menu but that didnt matter because the food was so so so good i went with a group of us an we all had different drinks an food an we all loved it. Will be back.

Pretty decor. Quiet when we went. Food was ok. Just lacking something ! Lift out of order so difficult if you had mobility issues.

Very beautiful restaurant. But the food is meh. I went to the restaurant twice. The first time, I had a good experience with lamb kebab and some starters. The second time was a disappointment, where the korean chicken was very salty. The Korean noodle salad was terrible, the noodle was like a few days old. 2 steak dishes were raw when I asked for medium rare. The menu hasn't changed for over 2 years. The burger and chips was the only dish I found OK.

Went for a Sunday roast. Was better than average. And good to be able to get a roast in a nice venue on a Sunday in watford town centre

Am I supposed to wait to be seated? There’s no one here. Is there table service? No one is coming over. Should I order at the bar? Does anyone clean around here? Did you hire anyone? Interesting concept but not clear what’s going on…..

Very nice place even Garden side is beautiful

A nice restaurant with friendly service. It has a quaint feel but is larger than I'd expect to fit my 'quaint' definition. Picturesque inside with plenty of Instagrammable opportunities. The food is good but a little on the pricier end.

Despite a problem with the gas in the kitchens, we still had a beautiful meal and drinks, the staff were lovely. The decor and vibe were excellent 👌

Food tasted ok but didn't think it was anything special & limited choice. I requested an Irish coffee & it was disgusting.

It was my first time visiting this bar and let's say it won't be my last I throughly enjoyed my visit the staff was really nice about my allgeries to and confirmed ingredients me with in cocktails great cocktails so ashestically enjoyable and me and my friend enjoyed the decor took some nice pics Nice place to go with your girlfriends on a Saturday night highly reccomend!!

The most beautiful restaurant I have ever been to. The staff was very friendly while we took photos everywhere. Good menu for children and very delicious food.

All Well with decoration, Look and Vibe. Food was ok/good. What put us off that restaurant doesnt promote people taking left over home. Really!!! in this era of when people are more aware of environment/sustainability or so. When asked, we were offered large aluminium foil to wrap our left over and carry home. I expect more from high end restaurants like this.

We had a birthday lunch here for 20 people - the second one we've had in 6 months as we had a really god experience the first time round as well. The setting is just gorgeous, the food and service were fantastic -we were well looked after by Karolina and Charlene - thank you so much! We ordered sharing plates and everyone really loved the food. We really love this place and it's a great asset to our local area.

Thank you very much to The Florist in Watford and all the staff for making our celebration run very smoothly. We had hired out the whole venue for over 130 people for a private event.. The feedback was the food was fabulous. The drinks were fab and the staff were very professional.

We had my daughters baby shower at The Florist. Absolutely perfect from every aspect, decor, food, drinks and service. A fantastic afternoon with the wow factor.

Apparently these kinds of venues are more common in the UK or London but I had never seen a place this beautiful before. 💕 The lunch was super yummy and the cocktails even more so. We had the one with the cotton candy and I'm in love with it tbh. Very very nice experience, super friendly people also. Definitely want to come back here when we're in the UK again.

Excellent venue, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is one of the best around. This venue is by far the best Watford has to offer.

****UPDATE**** This review was responded to, which I thought was great... so as requested I have emailed them... and that email has been ignore for about a week now. I have been here a few times and everything has been on point, so I decided to head back for the 4th or 5th time... I walked in and there was no-one at the desk, which is cool, it's a quiet lunch time.. 3 members of staff behind the bar just chatting which is cool, one sees me, walks towards me ignoring me, the looks round the corner at the restaurant... he then walks back past me again ignoring me and says something to someone sat on a table who looked like a manager and she responded to him with somethings along the lines of of " I didn't do the rotas" then she definitely said "well I'm on my break" With this we walked out. What has happened to this venue? If you have too much money that you don't need customers, then why are you open?

We ordered the Calamari, Arancini and Korean Fried Chicken. Food & drinks arrived promptly, staff were super friendly and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Excellent ambience and good food

A wonderful place to visit, with fantastic views and decorations that are out of this world. It’s a very beautiful spot to enjoy a cocktail and have a great time, whether for business or with friends. However, the staff is not very cooperative; they wanted me to carry the chairs outside by myself when I was on heels and everything.

We had a wonderful evening at the Florist! As a coeliac, I was placed at ease easily and quickly by Lewis (front of house) and Charles (head chef) through their explanation of protocol regarding allergens and risks which meant I was able to eat without worry or concern. The food was excellent and the service was attentive. As an ex-hospitality manager, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Well done the NWTC! Following the meal, we had some lovely drinks served by Fortunato. The team are a credit to you!

Wow! Been wanting to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. My kind sister arranged an afternoon lunch here and the environment and atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. Staff really friendly and helpful - thanks so much - Can’t wait to go back

Lovely decor and tasty plates. Service not excellent, but fine.

This is a nice, pretty and calm venue, sometimes very good, sometime not. We decided to do a little shopping in Watford on Bank Holiday Monday, followed by a drink and something to eat. The Florist seemed like the perfect venue. The stairs were climbed, comfortable seats found and drinks ordered... what a disappointment! A tall glass completely filled with ice cubes, followed by crushed ice to fill any remaining space. Until that moment, we had, had a very pleasant time, so not wanting to change the mood, we decided to not say anything, finished our drinks, and voted with our feet. So, not only did you anoy two customers, we also took our lunch business somewhere else. Please get a grip and train your bar staff properly. Watching someone reading 'how to make the cocktail' from their phone, does not inspire confidence in this establishment! The Florist should be about the whole customer experience, not how much money/profit you can wring from a customer... just an opinion. I look forward to your comment.

Went today for the first time and was dissapointed by the service and the food(few options to choose from,kids size portion for adults).👎

I been to Florist a few times and it's been better. We came for my daughter's 9th Birthday and when we arrived, they said our table was book for 4pm not 4.30 as stated on my booking confirmation, not sure what happen there. They arranged the table for us, no problem there but the service was absolutely ridiculous, kept having to call the waiter for drinks, food and also to clear the table so we can bring the birthday cake. The table wasn't even cleaned, I had to do it myself! Food was awful, no taste and totally bland! We asked for plain noodles for the kids to be told NO the chef cannot make that despite serving noodles on the menu. Unfortunately, they have lost a good customer here and I won't be returning

26-05-2024 dissapointed this time, meniu have been changed , different staff , food doesn't look and taste as before (worse) staff non experienced or just to bored about doing their job ! I wont get into details but wont visit again.

I came to The Florist for a quiet drink yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to have discovered a hidden gem in Watford. I was unsure of what I wanted but Alex recommended me a cocktail with Sicilian Lemon which I absolutely adored! He seemed very knowledgeable and really made the whole experience great. I will certainly be visiting again and next time will be sure to bring all of my friends to try the food.

Booked the Florist for my wife’s 50th birthday, and it was just the best evening - the ladies had an amazing time, the place is just perfect and they danced all night!

Had a lovely evening with my husband. DJ playing some brilliant music, lovely cocktails and Carolina our waitress was great - knowledgeable and quick to see when we needed her. Mai course took a while to come out but worth the wait.

I had a wonderful time last Saturday, our server Kai was amazing she was so helpful with the bottomless drinks, the food was really tasty!

Lovely venue which was clean. A good friendly service. Personally I thought you could of had a few different things on the menu but I am a fussy eater so am usually limited. Great experience though. Thank you Watford Florist

The restaurant looks fantastic and great location, however from there it goes downhill. The food quality is not so great, my food was cold and then it was re-heated which took a long time and by that time my guests had nearly finished their main and it seemed they were slowing down to eat just so I can catch up. The music was way too loud to have a conversation and it seemed I was shouting at my guests just to be heard, the dress code it seems nobody seems adheres to, as the website states "Fabulous" but most of the gusets were in trainers/leggings/sports wear. This restaurant is just a glorified "Harvester" or "Toby Carvery", atleast with Harvester you get free salad. Totally disappointed with our visit and if I was an Area Manager or Regional Director reading this review I would definitely be having a meeting with the restaurant management.

Went for dinner with a group of friends. The staff were truly amazing, professional, polite very tentative and efficient… the atmosphere was great as was the ambiance and decor… only minor downside was the food was a little on the cold side … but would definitely recommend and will be going back for sure ..

Very pretty cafe on 1st floor of Watford High Road. Super cute setting with tables inside and outside on terrace. Moments from Atria Shopping Centre. The decor is stunning with wildflowers hanging over tables and two cherry blossom trees in the dining area. There are lots of photo opportunities, such as a phone box and bath, neon lighting etc. The food itself was lovey, both myself and partner had the club sandwich with chips. The presentation was great. Coffee was also very tasty. Would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Watford.

It's really beautiful there - the decoration is amazing and lives up to the name - and that's why it's worth a visit. But the portions were too small for me, and it was a shame that the only vegan dessert was fruit skewers. But otherwise the food was good, the atmosphere was nice and the employees were nice and attentive.
