Popped for breakfast on a recommendation. Great cafe, lovely food, decent prices, ceiling only falls on your head 50% of the time. Would go again 👍

Myself and my wife have eaten here once a week for the last year and will continue to do so, the food is amazing, the staff are faultless and friendly even when its busy! Highly recommended! The best place in Essex for a curry!

Rarely we post how good a Chinese restaurant is as we can’t seem to find any to match yaus in billericay before it was taken over! This place is excellent in quality and taste! We only had a take away which is never as good so we are very much looking forward to eating in! The staff were fun and friendly and we enjoyed their company when waiting for the food! If we could give this place 6 stars we would 😋

Mi novio quiso que fuéramos a tomar algo por la tarde a este típico pub de la zona con un amigo. Tomé un buen vino blanco por su recomendación y estuvimos largas horas en buen ambiente. La estética me encantó pues fue una experiencia muy tradicional a lo british style. Música ambiente ideal junto con la climatización perfecta. Higiene de 10. Servicio agradable y cercano. Bastante céntrico.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our first meal together in the 'new' Starr Inn. (We had been to previous incarnations of The Starr, in times gone by.) The meal, service and friendly attention from the maître d' and senior staff was faultless. The food was delicious. (I can highly recommend the ribeye!) All in all, with background live music, it was an evening fit for a celebration.

Food was soooo fresh, unreal and came within 30 mins. Defo would order from here again!!

I often call for a sandwich at lunch or a take away salad box. I love the quality of the ingredients, salad boxes are so delicious, every time fresh, healthy ingredients.

We had the tandoori mix grill it was lovely great service as well would definitely recommended

I had a great experience staying at the hotel. The room was comfortable and nicely presented and had some really nice touches like a retro radio, and a rubber duck in the bathroom. Staff were friendly & polite. Would definitely come back

Last night both dishes were disappointing. Deep fried squid was not very crispy and the crispy chilli beef was bland.

Best pizza and kebab in the area thanks guys highly recommend.

The best pie and mash by far, me and pie and mash have been life long friends ,I admit I have strayed from Mazies but always return as this is and has always been the mutts knuts .God bless you Tim .
