The best restaurants in West Thurrock and South Stifford Thurrock East of England

Served by a very friendly waitress Ola, but sadly the service was poor, the food wasn't that hot when it arrived, the desert menu wasn't fully available, the three things we chose, they had run out of so was offered to order from 4 other items. The length of time between each course was over 40 mins and the very few diners in their at the time we were eating had finished their meals and gone, which left us, a party of 6 and possibly two other tables, which didn't explain the length of time waiting. Sadly won't be returning their. Had a much better experience in the one which used to be the Dick Turpin pub.

We visited on Friday night. 6 adults ready to eat BIG. Numerous waitresses walked past ignoring us without even as much as a smile or a hello. After 10 minutes we gave up and took our business across the road. Shameful way to run a business! It wasn't even that business empty tables all over the venue.

The young girl who works there it was Tuesday 28th in morning early is amazing customer service is second to none the manger man is also very nice the best costs to go to in this area lovely staff

We had an amazing family! We had a long time waiting for a bigger table as it was busy . Staff handled very well, and the service was fantastic! I'm a bit fussy on vegetables, l ate it all.

Thrilled with our experience here. We made reservations and then read a few not so positive reviews on the way. This made me slightly nervous, that we had made the wrong call. Lets just say they must not know good food! If you love delicious, unique, dishes, with just the right blend of ingredients, bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, this is the right place for you! If you are on a budget, it is not. Recommend the yellowfish tuna sashimi. Highly recommend the strawberry-guava glazed grilled duck breasts and Ancho chimichurri skirt steak.

Game in yesterday for dinner with friends, great food

Had a fab night today with the family celebrating 3 birthdays food was great service was even better, Ann Marie is a credit to your store she is friendly and helpful and most of all know how to make you enjoy your self while dining...... I'm sure we will be back to sit in Ka@#n's corner 😁

I love eating here. It's the nicest restaurant in Thurrock. I miss it. I hear that it's been refloated so am keenly awaiting news of it's future. There are many people hoping they'll be able to go to this restaurant again.

Almondo, our waiter was absolutely amazing with our little toddler, kept her entertained and engaged. Very thoughtful and helped her with her drawing. Too service from a really friendly person. Made the meal even better

Food was bit old as chicken was bit hard resulted from being left in the hot dispenser for too long.

I went to the m&s cafe in lakeside and felt like I was in a builders cafe as no saucer with your cup and given a stick to stir my tea, no communication as you just do your own ordering and then just sit down. I won’t be going there again as I really thought m&s were better than this very disappointed.

After many years of going to lakeside we decided to stop and have a coffee here. We was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the prices were and we was allowed to sit and chat for as long as we liked. Friendly staff and nice bright place to rest inbetween shops! Will be our new spot!

Wasn’t expecting much tbh but what a surprise! The staff member named Jai gave a warm welcome and great ideas on what I can buy to help with my difficult palette. Recommend
