A tasty and relaxing experience on a Monday evening.

The food is very bland and unaesthetic. In my opinion the greasy meal is too much for the digestive system, they cook fresh food but unfortunately the oil in use is old and bad. On the other hand the atmosphere in the shop is okay, the owner is very nice man.

What a find. Visited on 9/3/25 as we were in the area. Both had the roast dinners, me beef and my friend had lamb. Everything about the food was high quality and for the price, amazing value. Both the beef and the lamb were tender and tasty, great selection of lovely roast potatoes, yorkshire pud and several different vegetables, all done perfectly. Sauces and extra gravy supplied were also excellent. Desert was a cheesecake (shared) with plenty of cream which was also excellent. Menu costs, including drinks of one pint of nice IPA and one white wine spritzer came to £40, amazing value for a great lunch. Decor fairly plain but very clean and friendly waitress service, what's not to like? Highly recommended

A great pub in between Thurrock & Grays, a nice place to watch a good football match as they have plenty of big screens, fast service & darts + pool too.

Whenever I fancy a decent breakfast to perk me up, I always pop along to the Magno for a fry up. Don't be put off by the 3 star Food Standards Agency hygiene rating - this place is a real gem. Quality food, proper sausages and extremely good value for money. Proper cafes are few and far between but this is my favourite.

Just enjoyed a lovely mixed souvlaki (2 x chicken and 1 x port, maybe you can ask to reverse that) from here. Came with chips, salad and garlic mayo. £11.50 total with a can of Fanta. Quick service and a nice filling meal but the seating area is a bit gloomy so I chose to eat in the much lighter food court. Would be nice if the guy serving learnt how to smile but otherwise all good and I would eat here again 🐷 🐔👍🙂

had an absolutely fantastic experience at Coco Asia! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant ambiance and stunning waterside views. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. The food was exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Pan-Asian menu offers a great variety of options, and everything I tried was cooked to perfection. I’d give this place a zero if I could , the coffee was below average and the granola pot was ok but it come with dirty old spoon all stained up , asked for a new one and that was just as bad! Floors and walls are just pure filthy , and the windows look like they get washed by children playing in mud baths , there is no excuse for a major establishment to be like this these days . We actually didn’t finish our food and drink because we felt dirty inside there . The servers was very slow and was very rude when you tried to have a simple conversation.

The staff is really nice, especially Nina, who deserves a raise in my opinion.

Served by a very friendly waitress Ola, but sadly the service was poor, the food wasn't that hot when it arrived, the desert menu wasn't fully available, the three things we chose, they had run out of so was offered to order from 4 other items. The length of time between each course was over 40 mins and the very few diners in their at the time we were eating had finished their meals and gone, which left us, a party of 6 and possibly two other tables, which didn't explain the length of time waiting. Sadly won't be returning their. Had a much better experience in the one which used to be the Dick Turpin pub.

On arrival we were met by a very welcoming young gentleman. The food was good value and of a high standard, the kids meals are very portioned. I cannot stress how impressed I was by the service we were provided. I didn’t get a young man’s name who was serving us yesterday evening but get him a promotion 5*
