Coco Asia in Thurrock

I had such a great time at Coco Asia Restaurant and Lounge last night — I didn’t leave until 1am because the whole vibe was just perfect. Everything was top-tier — from the delicious food to the smooth, high-quality shisha with a great variety of flavours to choose from. My friend had the frozen lychee flavour which was a solid 10/10 — so smooth, great tasting, and not harsh on the throat at all. I went for the mint flavour, which was definitely stronger and a bit harsher at first, but still a really nice flavour. Shoutout to Babor, who kept checking in on us and made sure everything was right. He even reshuffled the coals for us so the shisha hit smoother — little touches like that really made a difference! The atmosphere was perfect for a chilled yet lively night out, and the service really stood out. The music was also 10/10 & there was a live DJ. Babor looked after us all evening — he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, funny, and still kept things professional. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the night, which really added to the experience. I highly recommend this spot if you’re after great food, vibes, and a chilled night out. Will definitely be back!

Wondeful service at Coco Asia Lakeside! With service provided by Tanjim and team that was very attentive to detail. Every food was served with a smile and in such a way that prompted you to dig in and enjoy.

Celebrated my birthday and had the tandoori mixed grill which was so tasty. Most of the people who came there had this dish too. Service was warm.

Food was ok mixed grill plater lovely lamb shank was very soft no taste what so ever very bland and very fatty some had set menu which there were no complaints apart from the mojito drink which was very sweet mash potote also bland seems like packet mash Desert was fine churros and ice cream Decor beautiful however toilet had a horrid smell which all my guess comment ed on it was bad smell like drain issue it kind of put me off my food also 10 of us were there

Atmosphere was really nice and chilled. Sahir was really good at serving us. We wish to have alcohol but they don’t serve alcohol at all. However the none alcoholic cocktail was really nice.

As for the food absolutely excellent. Best deserts in town and would strongly recommend their cheesecake; churros and sticky rice with mango.

Decor is beautiful food is ok I feel a bit overrated especially the shankof lamb very soft but very taste less absolutely no taste and very fatty mixed grill was lovely lamb chops lovely I was so disappointed in the lamb shank group of ten found food ok overall mixed grill was the winner for us female toilets if I went in there before I ate I could not they were absolutely very smelly as if there was a drain problem they smelt bad plus broken toilet seat in end cubicle there were 10 of us saturday

We encountered a challenging situation due to some rude customers; however, thanks to Manni, the manager, along with Imran and the rest of the service team, our experience remained exceptional. Coco Asia based in Lakeside is a very good venue. Celebrated my birthday here and the staff her were lovely, professional and very accommodating. Minaj especially was our table host and was very nice and also recommended good things from the menu. Will definitely recommend to come here for any occasion. Good atmosphere and the customer service was outstanding. A special thanks to Manii and Shihab who was super welcoming and attentive during our birthday celebration. External cakes, however, are not allowed on the premises which was a shame. Hardly ANY vegetarian options which were disappointing therefore had to get basic stir fry which tasted basic. A nice warm atmosphere in general. If vegetarian options are expanded, can be a place I’ll potentially visit again.

We went to Coco Asia Lakeside after visiting Lakeside Shopping Centre. It was just for a small birthday dinner for the missus, chilling and spending time together. We had a nice experience, the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Our booking was for Tuesday, 6PM and it was quiet with a few tables around. We sat in the lounge area which was really nice right by the lake. I believe it was Ashraf who made our shisha which was amazing! I had the Kerelan Chicken Burger which is a safe option, it’s nothing special but it’s nice. The missus had the spicy chicken noodle which was really nice and we topped it off with a chocolate soufflé to share which also was really nice. The food was good and the price’s were good for such a place! The atmosphere was really nice especially the fact that it’s right by the lake really adds to it. I can’t remember his name, forgive me for that, but I believe he was a manager of the garden/lounge area who was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The man with the shirt and braces on. Big shout out to him! They also had the game on which was a win. If you wanna have a chill time, you surely can during the week. Not sure, how busy it is over the weekend.

i had the worst experience at coco asia. The customer service was really stupid.The staff acted like we were bothering them, when we asked for simple things like napkins. When Food came specially starter was cold.I didn’t complain to this to the waiter who was very rude and moody. Honestly I don’t understand how a place can have such terrible service. Not recommended to anyone.
