Dirty tables. Difficult to find seating. Expensive food and drinks. Better quality and better value elsewhere

Very fast service compared to other branches I’ve been too. Staff work above and beyond to provide best customer service.

Very good services,products,foods and cheaper but very busy on Saturday and Sunday need to go early.

Espresso bean taste has gone down hill over the last year across all branches. Plenty of independents now serving a quality espresso based drinks. Up your game or lose your customers.

Usual Costa coffee offer and quality. Appalling gluten free food selection - they prefer to cater to 'lifestyle' ( lower risk) vegans and veggies. Avoid.

This is always a busy branch but yet never feels that quick, maybe their head office needs to allow them more staff. But the staff they have were all very friendly and helpful. Food and drink as always great. I would visit again.

Your average chain coffee shop. Clean, friendly and reasonable coffee and food.

Linus, he was very friendly at the till, he was guiding me through the menu giving me recommendations left me with good impression.

All the staff are very polite and they care about the customers but there is a man (I don't know his name) tall and blond with a strange haircut who is very rude to the customers. He makes you feel unwelcome, he makes you leave very quickly. I was there 2 hours before closing and he had already cleaned and put chairs so we couldn't pass. We had to sit where he wanted or outside. We are loyal customers and have our favorite place. I understand if it was close to closing but 2 hours before he can't do something like that. And this happened several times not just once. Now that we know it's his turn we don't come anymore because he doesn't like it to see no one inside.

Always enjoy a Costa coffee and invariably a cake. As lakeside branch is inside a precinct I feel it lacks something. But coffee always good.👍

Coffee was great, as was the cake. The only problem I always find are the prices. Ove £3 for a tiny bit of cake. Cookies, way too much. Too expensive.

Great service, very clean place

I think this is the only Costa now in Lakeside shopping centre, that's not in Next. It's a big enough coffee shop, that's still affordable compared to others.

Great place to have good quality food and wonderful coffee

The rotating menu is just annoying when trying to choose something different than just coffee. The cold teas is troublesome trying to understand!!

Very rude cashier who doesn't know how to talk to customers. I was unimpressed with her tone of voice to me and another customer.

A nice Costa Coffee cafe, good services and great staff. Drinks are tasty too. The seating area is clean and tidy and the nice decor all around.

I had a Terry's orange hot chocolate with a Terry's orange muffin. Was delicious I really enjoyed it. When I finished a member of staff took my tray away. Very nice well manered staff, would go again...

Asked for my usual hot hot chocolate and the young lady said No problem sir When she gave it to me she said Don't burn yourself Now that's the service all costs should be doing Annnnd it don't cost no money to no one

My personal favourite coffee house, coffee always first class also muffins and pastries.

Delivery time changed 3 times, no bubbles in the mango bubble frappe and no big straw supplied, no foil cover for the large hot chocolate so it leaked over the roasted hazel latte.

Terrible staff very rude and got my order wrong and didn't even say sorry told me to try and drink to see if it had nuts in to see if it was the right drink which I can not eat!!!!

A shame for the staff today the Costa app reader was not working so customers were unable to use the rewards. Staff were not really sure what to do and seemed unable to help or really offer suggestions.

You know what your going g to get

It took far too long to get served. Not enough machines for cold drinks customers. Recommend separating queue for summer drinks vs coffee drinkers during busy periods. Over 20 mins wait to be served.

We ordered 2 drinks take out after waiting about 15 mins stood very visible to staff, still no drinks, in the end asked how long it would be , they had no clue what we had ordered nor had their only copy of the receipt. In the end after 20/25 mins we eventually got our drinks, no applo6no explanation.

I enjoy visiting this Costa with my two children (3 and 5). We go here to start a day of shopping and lunch. We don't often get food due to time but when we do the food is good. The staff are pleasant and make time to engage with my children. All in all a nice morning or afternoon is always had.

Highly overpriced, not very tasty Toblerone hot chocolate, long que waiting to be served. I won't be visiting again anytime soon.

Rude, waited 20 mins to be served, ordered takeaway, told it was the law to have a lid. After they served another customer behind me. Told I was rude and to shut up......

Had a really nice strong flat white here. More than enough empty seats. This is inside Lakeside shopping centre and very handy for shops etc. With the added bonus of free parking.

The team here is doing the best they can although they seem to be short on help. Shame on the upper management for not addressing staff shortage. Also, every Costa I've stopped at is out of Lemonade Ginger Iced Tea.
