TGI Fridays - Lakeside Retail Park in Thurrock

Me and my work colleagues visited for dinner. We had to ask someone for the drink menus as we was only sat down with the food menu. We then had to find and ask someone if we could order our drinks. Food came, mozzarella sticks was missing the cheese and sweet potatoe fries were inedible. Waitress was not friendly at all. Everything else fine. I wont be returning due to the prices.

Me and my friend was there last Saturday. Wasn’t very busy like how this restaurant get . So our food was perfect also the server was very nice . I believe her name is Victoria. She was wonderful. All over great experience.

Our waitress summer was delightful. We only got tap waters but she still ensured they were refilled at all times. Food was delicious too.

We enjoyed our food, although the sauces on the ribs were sweet as we're the cocktails. Our waitress Claire was very friendly and helpful. The meal was very expensive for what it was burger and ribs. Sorry we won't be rushing back, overall experience was OK.

Food came really first from kitchen. Drinks was lovely also . Our server was Victoria . She was fantastic. I recommend this place.

Being a former employee at TGI Fridays years ago, I can only say that the staff here definitely require more training. I sat waiting at the table for a waiter but none in sight. Went to the kitchen and asked the chef who went back into the kitchen to call a waiter, I could see the waiter he was talking to back of house in a reflection from glass door and he refused to come out. This place needs better management clearly

Me and a group of friends decided to book TGI’s yesterday evening for a meal. When we arrived the place was ok, the music was so loud you could barely hear what the person in front of you was saying. The prices was a bit extreme for the portion sizes. The chips came and was very cold. The steak was over done and the food in all wasn’t the greatest. It tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave and then the food wasn’t hot. This morning all of the party that attended the restaurant last night are ill. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The amount of money that was spent I would of thought it would of been worth it.

TGI Friday's in Thurrock exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. With outstanding service from Luke and delicious food that left us craving more, it's safe to say we'll be returning. Highly recommended.

The service from the kitchen was awful! The waitress was good hence 2 stars but the food took about 1h to come out, maybe longer. The rump steak was all gristle, the sirloin was not that great for £28. I won’t ever be eating here again.

Food was amazing tonight, had the steak and full rack of ribs and they were both delicious! Gemma was our server tonight and she was brilliant. So friendly and welcoming. Anything we needed she was there right away, thank you Gemma! We will be back soon!

I had the king prawns for starter arrived cold, main was ultimate ribs was luke warm at best barbie sauce was not very barbie sweetcorn cold however chips were prob the star of the plate, service was great the girl server was very polite and attentive. Will not be back though..........

Katie served us Thursday 7th March. We had bottomless brunch and she was amazing. Always making sure we had everything we needed and took the time to talk to us as well as making sure the rest of her tables had a good time too. Very good experience

Order was overall ok. Delivery was timely and the deliverer was courteous. They put Parmesan cheese on our "fresh spinach," wasn't ok with that. It wasn't ...

The food was on point today. Our server Luke was brilliant, checking in on us regularly and service was very quick.

Victoria was amazing!!!! She was doing a hundred things, serving multiple tables, singing all the birthday songs with 100% energy and positivity. Our nachos arrived cold and hard. Victoria was quick to change them with extra warm cheese on the side. We loved them so ordered more. She was accommodating to my 'super hungry' 4 year old and constantly checked in on us all. We all left happy, well fed, satisfied and excited to return. Best TGI experience I've had in over 15 years!

Million our server was great the reason for 3 stars for service is when we got here the front of house person had no clue in what she was doing she said no tables ready put us in the bar area and forgot about us there where free tables everywhere and there was only two of us mollie saved the day well done

What an absolute disappointment. Extremely high prices for what they serve. A small size, very thin steak - which was served burnt, although we did order a medium-rare, one thin slice of mushroom and a tiny piece of tomato next to it - for £28! The burgers (Messy and the ultimate) were not any better than a cheap MCD cheeseburger. It had a very strong rotten meat smell, very dry and overcooked. Came with fries and it was over £19! Their new menu is very limited and they really do overcharge for the very poor quality of the food they serve. The tables weren't cleaned properly as there was a very strong smell coming from it.

Came here as was shopping in lakeside. Safe to say I made a good decision, was served by Rosalyn. Service always makes the experience in a resturant and she really did. The staff was also working very hard to make sure food was out promptly and no long waiting times. Would definitely return! Thank you for a lovely evening

Waited to be seated for a while, waited some more for a waiter to serve our table, she eventually said waiting time for our food would be an hour!!!. Left and had a much better service elsewhere

Came in for father in laws birthday and was served by Lynsey who is just amazing. Food was spot on and the place is still great. Definitely recommend

Food took about an hour to come out bar staff was moody as can be and to top it of the div cleaning the tables sprayed disinfectant over my sons dinner sn then laughed about it

Despite our waitresses' apologies, the food took way too long to come out. The chicken fajitas were served on a hot plate so hot that most of the food was burnt to the plate and inedible. What was edible was bland and tastless, and the fries were lukewarm at best....... not a great experience 😕

We went on a Monday expecting it to be fairly quiet and in TGI terms it was , but as we were seated and walked to our table we must of walked past 8+ tables that haven’t been cleared, we were greeted by our waiter Arshao carrying plates to another table and the usual I’ll be with you in a min phrase was said, unfortunately as I looked around the fairly busy restaurant it was very clear to see he was gonna be a while as it was just him and a runner working really hard to serve the whole place, as a catering professional of over 20 years it’s very easy to see that one waiter a bus boy and barman is just not enough , every table was annoyed, some were waiting over an hour for food , we only waited 45 min but for a few chicken wings not acceptable , the fact that deliveroo bags were flying out the kitchen it speaks volumes to the priority of the company, our meal came to £80 more than enough money from just our table to pay a waiter to work the shift let alone the 15/20 other tables that were sat down , just to add this is no reflection on our waiter that did everything he could to make everyone happy , he was as prompt as he could be and charming with it , a huge chain that charges this sort of money for average wing’s shouldn’t be making simple mistakes like this , unfortunately the golden era of TGI Fridays seems over.

Absolutely worst meal we’ve ever had at TGI’s. Usually it isn’t too bad - but our meal today was actually horrendous. £78 for a burnt burger, a chicken ‘burger’, more like a chicken ball in a burger (did ask for a different burger) and £16 for a bowl of bland nachos with no sour cream or flavour. Really hated paying that amount of money for such a rubbish meal - definitely won’t ever ever return there. Avoid.

Never been to a TGI Fridays before and me and my husband wanted to try. Harry serving us and very helpful and recommended food and mocktails for us to try, was very nice and definitely coming back soon

So we have mixed feelings because ultimately the service from Arshad was absolutely fantastic throughout the evening however, the current food offer is very deceiving which we wasn't happy about. £9.99 for a main and refillable drink. There's only 5 options of the mains which isn't really varied so you already feel limited for choice! The quesadillia was delicious and a fab portion size however, the hotdog was an embarrassment. The sausage itself was half the size of the bun and not pleasing to the eye with presentation at all. As a result of dissapointment, we requested to change it to another quesadillia instead as was advised that was probably the best option in the offer. Although changed with ease, it validated that portion size can be compromised in offers such as these and your better off ordering from the main menu. We also ordered a kids meal which was the chicken breast burger which you presume is a complete burger, but was the size of a chicken nugget swamped in a huge bun 🤷‍♀️. When asked about it, was told it comes ready like that for kids size but it was genuinely a triangle shaped nugget size breast. Additionally, every kids meal was supposed to come with 'apples, cucumbers and carrots' which it didnt. We had to ask for it and when it arrived, the apples were missing, so we gave up! We also included in the booking that we had a birthday but, there was no mention of it at all. Overall, lovely service from Arshad, he was transparent, genuine and very friendly so thank you to him! But food unfortunately did not fully satisfy

The staff here were brilliant. The guy who served us was very friendly and couldn’t do enough. However when your paying over £24 for a steak you expect it to be a certain quality and at least edible. It actually smelt bad and the meat was dark grey. I have my steak blue-rare and have never had an issue. Not even at a whether spoons where it’s half the price. I really thought that paying as much as I did the food would be good. But this steak was absolutely horrible. Really the worst steak I’ve ever had. The staff however we’re really nice, it was my own fault that I didn’t complain. The staff were so nice and I knew it was not their fault so I didn’t want to have to complain and make a fuss. However the chef surely would’ve noticed the state of the meat and known it shouldn’t have been served. Really disappointed as this was my first visit to TGI Fridays. Never again.

The famous TGI Friday ribs were were excellent and impressive with excellent presentation. This was the standard for all the meal choices presented at our table (4 people). The staff right across the board were brilliant, and whilst the restaurant was incredibly busy, they went above and beyond to make everyones visit special. Also judging by the genuinely impressed looks on the faces of people at the tables the food tasted as amazing as ours. Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent food!

When you price yourself at the top end of the market you need to deliver. Food was OK but not worth the extortionate price tag.

A very busy venue, expect well trained staff juggling spinning plates. Long waits, dry patties and lamp warmed chips under the pass. If it wasnt 20+ pound a burger and chips i could walk away content i was full, but for the price you would expect better, especially seeing as other restaurant options can mange to take an order and deliver it at the high standard expected.

Just next to Costco quite convenient for shoppers. It has been 10 years since myvlast visit to Fridays back in US. It brought back all the memories. The service was excellent. The restaurant is kid friendly. Typical American style food. The quality of the food was as expected. Ohh I miss chimichanga. It was still good even It is not that crispy. I am glad I stop by here for food on a Friday!

After a day shopping at IKEA we had a meal to avoid rush hour before travelling home. Lovely meal, service was excellent and the two men installed the app and got free desserts.

Very friendly staff, food was more than we could eat our waitress Kellie was fabulous ! Knowledgeable of the menu and even helped my husband to choose a burger he would like even though this is not our first experience of a TGI’s. Kellie was observant friendly and professional and we had a great time. Prices are a little expensive but you do get more than enough food for the price.
