Subway in Thurrock

Took a while for them to find my order but when it was found they was brilliant. They called me to ask if I wanted it hot or cold really appreciated that.

Wow visited today 1st Nov 4 staff on and what a system they had no one had to wait. Superfast and friendly service. Guy on till cleaning between customers what a joy to watch. Food was lovely really good staff

I eat lunch here often - the food is always fresh and the staff cannot do enough for you. As a regular, they know what I like and it’s the same friendly faces that are serving me. The place is very clean, with ample parking and quick service. I thoroughly recommend this Subway, which is on the retail park, over all the others that I’ve been to. If you haven’t had a subway for a while then you should give this branch a try.

One of the best subway in the uk. This is my 4th time in this subway. Excellent service, excellent staff

Went to get some food for takeaway at the subway thurrock retail park on 11/19/24 at 7.34pm, and they wouldn’t serve me telling me they are closed. Doors were open, and opening times clearly stated 8am - 8pm. They were very rude and quite dismissive. The management team should look into this behaviour.

Time kept extending, food was cold and cake was hard!

Rude staff, food never fresh and toilets always apparently broken. Avoid.

Great food. Service is quick but not particularly friendly. Not much atmosphere but that is to be expected from a fast food restaurant.

The employees are really impolite. He started serving me a non-vegetarian sandwich before I asked him to change, so I told him to do so. He then made another non-vegetarian sandwich and came to my flat, failing to change his gloves again. I requested him to change, and he just stared angrily at me while arguing. I'm not sure why he behaved in this manner; their closing hour is 8:00 p.m., but even so, I felt really offended.

Never do they abide by the offers on the app. Piss take.

One not even toasted and had pepperoni in which wasn’t even ordered. Tuna melt was so soggy I couldn’t even eat it.

5* costumer service. There was 2 guy working yesterday afternoon. They are very friendly and kind!!!

Fab subs, they employees are great and always listen. We had an issue with our last order and the owner fixed the issue and we’re always happy to order from here. Staff always pay attention to the order notes too. Thank you! 🥰

Good for a Quick Bite. Service was OK. Just a shame they don't do the Honey and Mustard Dressing anymore. Please bring it back.

As subway restaurants go this is very average. Nothing fundamentally bad about it but nothing stood out at all.

Very good, the nachos were very nice too, and the sandwich was delicious (I loved the sauce) would order again!

I love a subway salad. Not only does it help me stay on track with my diet but it's delicious too. I find that it depends which store you buy it from as to the quality and quantity you'll receive (ie. Barely any salad, missing/changed items without warning, unappealing meat) but this store really nailed it today. Bacon was crispy, salad was a very reasonable portion, wasn't too much sauce, nacho chicken coating not soggy. Nailed it. Thanks Subway

I was given a substitute but it had nuts in I have a nut allergy this could have been fatal it would be wise, if you don’t have something to call the customer not just assume they can eat what your given this could have been a lot worse than a Bad review

This particular one has a very poor hygiene. Not much cleaning is involved here

Got a salad and other food today and the meat was off smelt and tested disgusting staff rude avoid!!!!!

Always closing about half hour early… not first time I go to get a sandwich after work and they refuse to serve even though there’s at least 15 mi. Before closing time….

Food was nice as always, no queues so quickly served which was nice, hard to communicate with the staff as there English wasn't too great..

Grabbed a footlong tuna melt with nachos and a drink. Food was fine and prepared well. Obviously not fresh, but a decent go-to fast food place in the retail park. Service was prompt and friendly.

There was no wedges in the order the sub was freezing cold

Nice place to come on my lunch break I’ve been coming here for 3 years on my break and always got a discount due to working in retail park but today the staff didn’t know and was saying I’ve never got discount here before the staff did to be trained more if this store going to offer a discount to people who work in retail park then al staff should be told very unhappy with the way I was made to feel like a liar

We received one wrong drink, one wrong sandwich and no crisps.

5 or 6 guys working there most teenagers not worry about customer service. They mistake 2 times the order. Bathroom in a orribile state. And now expensive. £25+ for 4 sandwiches... There are better options near this place

Ordered steak and cheese. Got no cheese! Didn't want to wait in the queue for them then to make me another one. Would have taken another 20 mins. Who makes a steak and cheese sub without the cheese!

This place was filthy! Floor was covered in food and my son stood in banana, so we had to pick that out his shoe. Toilet was the same and not cleaned well. To top it off, one of the staffs version of cleaning the table was to wipe the crumbs with his bare hands onto the floor. 2 stars because at least the food was decent.

Was in there just now. The man who served me was utterly rude. No manner at all. Got the hump because I asked for a bag and when I said have a good day he just looked away like he doesn't care. I work in retail and know the struggles with rude customers but I will never treat a customer so rudely like this man was today.

I visited this place with my family I was very disappointed as the place was so hot inside its subway their air conditioner should be open but it was closed and I ask the black tshirt guy he said we are saving electricity but if you cant afford electricity bill then why opened the subway.

I prefer this location to the busy of lakeside. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and efficient with my order. Place was tidy and clean. Notified about the new cookie, Lemon Drizzle, which turned out to be a yummy change from my usual!

Great service. Hot food, quick delivery fantastic I can have delivered. Only downside is delivery cost and service cost is expensive but understand drivers to pay etc.

I placed an order for a meatball marinara with cheese, red onions, peppers, jalapeños on 9Grain Multiseed bread. My order turned up and I had the wrong bread, no cheese and no peppers. My order was a single order so you would think they wouldn’t get too confused with it. I then called to restaurant to tell them what was wrong, they didn’t seem to care at all and told me they don’t have the bread I wanted in stock at the moment, instead of calling me and telling this and asking me what bread I would like they just put it in one and sent it to me. Very poor from Subway.

Pretty standard Subway store, nothing wrong with it but nothing special

Very poor experience at this subway. Tables dirty, floor sticky. Staff not very friendly and quite visibly just don't want to be there. Only 2 highchairs available for the whole store, 1 was in use the other absolutely disgusting. Once I had cleaned it realised both straps were missing (ripped off) leaving the highchair useless and dangerous if a child/baby were to be placed in. Will not be returning.

Very stingy! Have ordered a salad box with double portion of chicken… wasn’t filled up at all, chicken was purple & dry inside, 3 olives, small amount of sweetcorn, 2 slices of tomatoes! Didn’t listen when I said not too much sauce. Joke! You pay so much money for box of salad and they are trying to save on SALAD LEAVES!!! Needed to get up from the table and ask to top up my salad and everyone gave me a dirty look. Dirty tables, not welcoming place at all!!! Avoid this place!!!

Doors locked due to "thefts" after 6pm but was locked up at 5:45pm.. staff using their phones and ignoring any customers. Doubt the franchisee is aware of what his staff are doing.

Found the subway by accident, didn’t know there was a subway around lakeside. So I ordered the cheese and steak meal, it was pretty good and add in the wedges the a sauce I can’t remember the name of. Slightly soggy but I understand there is a fine balance. Did something similar and couldn’t get it right myself. There was good flavours coming through and not over bearing of one flavour . For everyone’s own information, there is no toilet.

Food was very good and so was the service. Looking forward to investigating the rest of the menu.

They close at 17:00 on sundays. However when I walked in at 16.50 I was refused service as they had already closed the counter. Disappointed as I believe they should continue serving until their stated closing time!! Very poor customer service from all 3 members of staff!!

Subway is brilliant and the food was delicious. The young lady who served me was a really pleasent person. I rate there branch one of the best.

Absolutely disgusted. Since I didn’t have the mask on and I accidentally left my lanyard at home I’ve been quizzed by subway stuff regarding what is my actual medical condition. I do not have to disclose the details of my medical condition - it is my private business. Staff extremely unprofessional, rude, argumentative and mouthy.

I was the only customer in the place, and still felt like I was putting the staff out! There were tables available when I entered, but all the chairs had been put away by the time I needed one - didn't feel at all welcome, went off and ate my sub in the car!

Went here for a training day disappointed that I didn't get in I did so well they said they'll contact me when there is a job free for me so I was successful but nonr of that I must say from any work places I previously worked at the people in this subway store in retail park thurrock are extremely awesome and nice guys to work and hang about if I recommend a subway store I recommend this shop 100%
