Orchid Garden in Thurrock

No curry sauce so had to wait a further 25 mins for it to be delivered. When we finally ate, the chips were hard and overcooked, the rice and chow mein were tasteless and the pancake roll was awful, it was Grey inside!!! Never again, what a waste of money!

This is the best Chinese I've ever had, it was amazing. Shredded chilli beef was crispy bit still soft inside, salt & pepper chicken was so flavourful. It was all perfect

Asked for Chicken with cashew nuts, however all I got was chicken in sauce but no cashews nuts. Tasted fine but bitterly disappointed, as there were no cashew nut, hence my rating. Especially as I have used this establishment for over 15 years.

Would have been nice to have chicken in the chow mein, it’s all noodles.

Placed an order got a call saying it was too far for delivery now i have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. If order was successfully placed the delivery should be made apparently you have to call to make sure deliver is ok never heard such rubbish.

since this new owner took over i think the curry got bad and this is a waist of money for a takeaway,(mc donalds here we go)

the food used to be good and now the curry gone down hill so will not be going back there, as it used to be my top takeaway , but since new ppl in there its total crap.mc donalds any day

I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and it was the worst thing I have ever paid for the amount of oil that the chicken had is disgusting honestly u guys have to do better

Just started using this chinese due to usual local chinese closing for good, very nice food, clean and hot, very large portion sizes, i collect myself so iam not sure on delivery service, would recommend to anyone to at least try this takeaway service.

Used to love the food and staff here but after experiencing what I did last week will not be going back. Rush through takings my order then didn't tell me only 60 pence of free dish and lots of other little things and food very bland. Won't be returning.can't wait for canton chef to reopen

It was our Diamond wedding anniversary and I ordered a meal for 2 it was the best Chinese meal we have ever had thank you so much Orchard Garden will use you again Ain, the delivery driver was so lovely also.

Ordered my food and upon arrival had chicken fried rice missing, I called up and was told another would be sent out. I then waited another 45 Minutes for the rice to be sent out to which the rest of my food was freezing cold. I called up and cancelled the rice before it arrived and asked for a full refund as I live 5 minutes from the store and feel the wait I had was appalling. A lady then showed up with the rice and told me she would refund the rice and drinks she had and too keep the rest of the food. I refused this as I wasn’t paying £18 just to eat fresh rice and everything else microwaved. She still didn’t see my point. I gave back all food and got a refund.

we ordered food from there this evening. When it arrived it was cold we waited . one hour and 30 minutes. Then still never arrived then one hour and 40 minutes late and the food was not nice at all so I will never be using the Chinese restaurant again please . And the woman was very rude on the phone So very poor rating from me

What a lovely meal. We ordered chicken and black bean sauce, chicken noodles and chicken curry. We will remember and order again. Thanks to the lady who took the order, the talented chef who cook the our food so deliciously and the wonderful man who was polite when delivering the food.

Chips were cold and wrong dish was delivered, when called was told they will not give me what I ordered as they had cooked the other dish now!!! Rude English lady on phone also

I have been ordering from here for over 5 years now, that they know who we are as soon as we phone. Decent prices. Hot freshly cooked delicious food. Delivered on time unless they are super busy. If you want a dish that isn't on the menu, ask them if they can make you it. They have done it multiple of times for me. My favourite Chinese by far. I rarely order from anywhere else.

Always get out takeaway from here, have tried several Chinese but this seems to be the best for us. Will deliver usually quick unless a busy period time and day.

Today's takeaway wasn't the best I've had from here , the rice wasn't very nice however I normally get great food from here , the staff are friendly and it's reasonably priced

we ordered a take away sat night I had special fried rice not only was it not hot it was awful I also had spring rolls ugh my husband meal wasn't very nice either a total waste of money

Not my favourite in Tilbury as that is shut at the moment so this was our first attempt here, it wasnt too expensive & over certain prices you get different free items- delivery was on estimate- food was hot & okay although it didnt meet mine or my families personal expectations and we wouldnt order from here again

Las patatas fritas son adecuados y patatas fritas china, macizos, el gusto fideos Singapur están realmente bien, así son las costillas a la barbacoa. Si pides más de £15 que te dan gratis los rollos de primavera, lo cual es una ventaja. Siempre nos dan gratis pan de gambas que a los niños les encanta.

He pedido desde aquí semanalmente. Es mi favorito en Thurrock chino (Junto con Pekín chef en Southend calle Grays)incluso hacerme un plato que no esté en el menú de pollo con bebé el maíz, mmm.La comida es fantástica, con tamaños decentes de la porción a precios decentes.El personal es amable y la comida es siempre a tiempo.Me encanta Orchid Garden!!! Si no ha probado su comida, hacer!!
