The best restaurants in Three Rivers East of England

Very creepy and hostile staff. Make me very uncomfortable

Please don’t go here if you are really hungry and especially when your kids are hungry because they will serve you your food almost after 45mins and tell you that there was only one chef. Please don’t order burger that was the culprit when we went there because the other food ordered will also be served cold as they wait for burger to be ready and bring everything together(totally their wish). All other orders will be served right before yours making you wonder what have I even ordered thats taking forever to come. This is the place where your patience will be tested and guess what you have to pay a bill for it. Worst service ever and they won’t be sorry for their pathetic service so have to give one star for the audacity. 😡

Unexpectedly great restaurant! The food was tasty, fresh and prompt in arrival. We had a fantastic waiter who was very helpful and advised us well regarding portion sizes and choices. Restaurant is larger than it looks with clean toilets. Rightly priced food. Will definitely be back.

We both had the rib eye medium rare but just a little bit too rare and so full of fat it had to be replaced

Food was nice tasting. Overall I'd say overpriced for normal menu but lunch menu was great value!

Sunday lunch at Maurizios . My first visit. A starter pizza was excellent, the side salad too. The pastas portions were generous but very average. Given a pack of spaghetti and a bottle of sauce, I am sure I could have done just as well The atmosphere was spoilt by very shouty diners close by making it almost impossible to speak. We did not stay long and were glad when we had finished our meal and could escape the din. The inconsiderate behavior of customers is not the fault of the restaurant, but they should try to keep a lid on such bad behavior and seat larger parties at the far end of the restaurant leaving small groups to enjoy their meal in peace. I will return one day for their pizzas and salads .

Food was never delivered. Had to collect myself after a 2 hour wait. No communication from restaurant or just eat.

Cute, cosy cafe with friendly service and a simple menu of toasties, baked potatoes etc. A good option for a coffee and a snack - the only other options on Ricky high-street are the usual chains.

Great pub just off the Common - nice warm interior and a good place to watch the rugby. Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Nice beer garden too.

Great service and very polite staff. Made the occasion feel special for my wife's birthday. Thank you

Had a lovely afternoon on Saturday. Big group of us and food came quickly and was hot.

Good service and comfortable seating. CheeseBurger, choc milkshake and chips tasty. Is a trip back down memory lane and worth a visit.
