San Giorgio Pizzeria in Three Rivers

Took my gran daughter here after school her pizza was sloppy to the point it looked like soup on the top I sent it back and she received a second pizza which wasent as sloppy but the crust and base were black looked like Ash she had one slice and could not eat it she left the rest the waitress wasent one bit botherd claimed it was the way pizza was supposed to be never ever again will we set foot in there

Amazing food, best Italian around!

I don't know where these good opinions come from. I was there today - I ordered a pizza with meat and I received practically only tomato sauce and cheese. The pizza was like rubber! In addition, I asked if I could eat on the spot and I received an answer that if there was no reservation, unfortunately there was nothing available. While I was waiting for the pizza, another couple came and asked if they could eat too and the lady offered them a table that would be free for another hour because adter that is booked. Shame tha no one didn't offerem me same earlier. And they also didn't have a reservation. A tragedy, both the service and the food

So so lovely here. Staff are friendly and the pizzas are to DIE for! Fabulous ice cream and wine too. A local gem! Update: visited again today and I just love it here such a fabulous atmosphere no and the wine is lovely 😀

The pizza is surprisingly refreshing and light, it's the proper Italian dough we all love. Starters were ok, small portions for the price. The white house wine is definitely a palatable pairing to your meal. Chocolate dessert with almonds was rich but strangely served with single cream straight out the fridge, as in not whipped but liquid. Strange.

Top Pizza e Napolitan Culture. Italy Is a guarantee now and ever.

Regular here. Food is delicious and staff always lovely. Even won over my parents who are not usually big on Italian food! They came away saying it was one of the best meals they have eaten. Totally recommend this restaurant.

We eat here regularly and the food is always top class and authentic the pizza crust will always be slightly charred and blistered which is authentic and perfect , it’s an absolute bargain and family run would 100% recommend

I recently discovered this on Uber Eats. What a lovely pizza, I used to travel to London to get an authentic Neapolitan pizza. Not sure if I missed it on the menu, I’d like the option of a quattro formaggi!

Was dropped off here by another local business owner who called to book us a table and even walked us in to hand us off to the owner personally to ensure we were taken care of. They did a wonderful job with their service and the food was phenomenal! It is very Italian style pizza from the fire oven. If you're ever here it's a must try.

Waited 1 hour for 2 pizzas to arrive. Paid £32 and they arrived stone cold!!!!

We had a great meal here. The service was attentive, the food was really tasty (definitely reccoment the Lasagne) and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back. They have Gluten Free options too which is always nice to see.

After seeing other people’s reviews, I had high expectations for this restaurant. While most of the food was delicious, the pizza base was a major letdown. It was 80% burnt at the bottom, making it inedible due to the bitter taste. The top looked great, but the bottom was completely overcooked. I was very disappointed. If the server had asked how the food was, I would have given honest feedback. It seemed like she noticed the burnt pieces I left on the plate but chose to ignore them. I appreciate the wide selection of the appetizers in the lunch menu, and I initially thought the lunch menu was cheaper than other Italian restaurants in town, but after the 12.5% service charge, the price was more or less the same. I expected better based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to them.

I took a chance by ordering from a new Pizza Place a wow it paid off! The Pizza was delicious and absolutely mouthwatering and the garlic bread to die for I will definitely be ordering again! Thank you 😊

Our food arrived cold, it arrived within the time frame, but each pizza was stone cold. They had a nice flavour but was cold.

Was advertised as 15 mins delivery. Took 1 hour. Food was cold. Cheese was congealed. Also ordered extra anchovies and only got about 3.

Pizza was cold. I’ve never had a problem with previous orders from San Giorgio so this was surprising. 😟

Just received a takeaway order and I can honestly say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. The goats cheese and caramelised onion pizza is absolutely to die for. I can’t believe this is the first time ordering - you’re now my go-to pizza place 🖤

Really tasty fresh tasting pizza

The pizzas took longer to arrive than the website indicated. They arrived cold. I phoned the pizzeria and although I live about 1/2 mile away they were not interested. It was all apparently JustEat’s fault. I repeated that I lived nearby and had eaten in the restaurant and might do again but they were completely uninterested. I cannot recommend the restaurant or its pizzas. The pizzas arrived uncut - not sure if this was intentional

Superb, superb, superb.. Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. So lucky to have this gem close to home. Food is always fresh, hot and very tasty.

Went for the first time recently and what a lovely hidden gem this restaurant is! The food was incredible and the pizza was 👌just like being back in Italy! Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Cannot wait to go back!

We had such a lovely time at San Giorgio. We were celebrating my mums 70th and we had a big corner table for 19 of us. The owners are absolutely lovely, warm and attentive and made our gathering such a lovely experience. A special thanks to Kaj who helped me decorate the area. The food was absolutely delicious. What a gem of a find! We travelled from Hereford to harry potter studios, eager to find an excellent pizza restaurant and could not fault this place. Would highly recommend! The pizza and puddings were fantastic and the service from Regina was first class. If we're ever in the area again, we'd 100% be back!

Initially I thought the pizza had too thin a base, but actually it tasted great and was the right amount of food for one person (aka me). This was a good quality pizza.

An excellent, unassuming, and incredibly well valued establishment. Can tell the owner aims for as authentic as possible Italian dishes. Would highly recommend.

Amazing service and always yummy food!

We went to this restaurant because of the positive reviews on Google Maps, and I would say it fully deserves its high rating. All of our food was delious that I didn't know which one was my favourite: starter bread dough was crisp on the outside and soft chewy on the inside, the margherita pizza was great (I felt like I visited Italy again), the coffee ice-cream and the mango sorbet were full of flavour. The lunch menu was good value and I would say the portion is generous. Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was family friendly.

Located in a small village in Watford is a cute pizzeria with fantastic options for food and a brilliant service. Can't ask for more. Place is small so please call ahead.

Ordered a pizza for the 1st time via Uber. Pizza and the potatoes were delicious. Shame about the Uber delivery... By the time the pizza had arrived the pizza didn't look like a pizza all the toppings had slide to one side and off the pizza ... Maybe have a word with delivery drivers to treat food with care. Other than that pizza was lovely and will definitely order a again 😊

We only stopped off for ice cream but it was divine, so we went back again! Would recommend!

This was a quick stop for takeaway. Staff was friendly. We were greeted immediately; and, our order taken with no problem. Establishment was clean and had a quaint, neighborhood pizzeria vibe. Big brick oven was visible and makes for a great touch. Pizza wasn't bad at all. Overall, a positive experience.

Lovely pizza as usual, delivered fast. Small hiccup with my choice of extra toppings, but nothing that couldn’t be solved quickly by JustEat support. Will be ordering from here again soon.

Well well well, what can I say…absolutely amazing. We would recommend everyone to try this place. We absolutely love this place and the food is top notch. So we decided to have our boys First Holy Communion party here on the 26/05/2024. The owner Amy organised everything and nothing was too much for her, she’s absolutely amazing. Her husband Fausto and all the team were just fabulous. The food was absolutely amazing and extremely fresh and delicious. We can’t thank you enough Amy, Fausto and your amazing team. This is by far the best authentic pizzeria I’ve been to. The service was great and the atmosphere was spot on. Then the food, which is the best Pizza outside of Napoli I’ve ever had, proper 100% real Italian pizza. I’m not sure why it’s soo hard to find in the UK but finally I’ve found it at San Giorgio Pizzeria

Yhe food is fantastic service is fantastic. However, the Just Eat delivery guys are inconsistent. Delivery guys are independent, so if you are local, order and go pick it up or visit the restaurant. But definitely try the food it is fab.

Light above table kept dipping in light. Ordered meatballs and pasta, very spicy pasta only three meatballs.£5 for a very small bottle of beer.

Visited this afternoon with family who are regulars at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were really nice. They looked after our allergy needs and we cannot wait to come back!!

Visited San Giorgio for the first time last night for a "date night" dinner with my husband and we both enjoyed the experience very much! The Margherita pizza was absolutely perfect, as good as any you can find in Neapolitan-style pizzerias in London or indeed Naples itself!! So delighted to have found this gem in a little Hertfordshire village! My husband ordered the beef ragu pasta, which he said was very very tasty. The homemade tiramisu also did not disappoint! The lady owner of the restaurant brings so much positivity and energy to the place and made us feel so welcome! Without a doubt I will be returning to San Giorgio very soon, hopefully with the kids too as they love a good pizza!!

Great service & atmosphere. Amazing food. We had the pepperoni pizza, beef ragu arancini, mac n cheese frittatini, pancetta sauté potatoes and pesto and caramelised onion sauté potatoes. I personally would highly recommend the pesto and onion potatoes and the frittatini!! We loved the food and will certainly be returning :)
